I was promised that the plumber that they sent would remove the 2 cabinet panels from my old dishwasher and put them on my new dishwasher by 3 people from the company. The plumber who came glued one of the two panels to the dishwasher and tried to screw that panel on like it was on the old dishwasher. His boss called and yelled at the plumber and me, the customer, and said that the work was not going to be completed, and threated to take me to court if I did not pay. Since the boss was yelling, I heard him tell the plumber that he was not going to get paid for his work. Furthermore, the panel that was put on is falling off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are verbally abusive to their employees and customers! In addition, their prices are extremely high, in fact, over 3 times higher than the installation would have been if LOEWS had done the installation. The only reason I pursued them was because of the above stated promise. read more

It took 3 months to complete. 1-he forgot switch for drain and there was air leaking from inside unit and some insulation missing from outside pipe and existing duct in house was not fully connected to inside unit, therefore leaking a lot of air there as well. The communication in office and workers was the worst. I got excuses like he has been busy, I have been busy, I never received your messages. As other reviews I read-you were told appointment this day and you wait and wait-no text, email or phone call. Nothing! This happened 5 times. Wasting my time. When I inquired over the phone about hydro jet service (flushing drains with high-powered water) for 2 exterior underground drains from the gutter downspout, I was told the following: $400 for first line, $75 for each additional line. I repeated the quote back to the person on the phone and confirmed we were on the same page. When the serviceperson arrived, he did not inspect the lines, did not walk around the home, just said "$2000 to do all the lines". We re-iterated that we only need the 2 clogged lines flushed. He seemed either unable to understand our service needs or had an agenda to push a more costly service. We declined the service. I asked that he have a supervisor contact me and have not heard back. I called my plumber to fix an issue with the washer drain pan. We had the washer flood twice and cause damage to ceiling below. My plumber failed to fix the issue and when the new washer was delivered we could not install it because the drain pan was damaged and not connected to the floor. They charged us $450 and said they fixed something they didn't. When we called back to make a complaint we got the run around. This is not the first issue we had with my plumber. We will be canceling any services we have with them. They have the reputation of a used car mechanic. read more

Unable to recommend. Gentlemen came out to the house for a slow drain that I had in the kitchen. He gave it a visual for a second and said $650 to snake it. I had to pass. Paid him $49 just for the visit but called another company and was charged $150. Thank goodness I refused the $659 quote. I wonder how often people get taken advantage of. They assured me the tech would have all the equipment needed, he didn't have any parts....they said they would call the next day and reschedule, they never called. Admittedly I shouldn't be doing this and so we got someone to come out. He came out, of course, while I was at the store and getting my covid shot. My wife had to deal with him. He used our store bought items to "repair" the toilets. He installed a water intake that was not needed. He charged us nearly 500 dollars for this fix. By the time I got back (within an hour) he was gone. Should tell you the extent of the work needed. Do not use this plumber business. Installation of a faucet (bathroom sink) was over $ 600. When we were shocked about the price, the plumber (who was friendly) gave us a discount and we paid $ 480. Still too much, because after the plumber left, we noticed that the faucet was not mounted correctly on the sink. There was a gap between the base of the faucet stem and the sink on the right side of the faucet. With the prices they charge, we were debating whether to call them again and possibly getting charged another $ 90 for coming out. My husband was able to tighten a screw under the sink and fixed the problem. In other words, the plumber had done a sloppy job for $ 480!!! We have pictures! Since 1/24/24, we have called 5 times to make a complaint and requested to talk to a manager. We were told it takes 24 to 72 hours for a manager to respond to a complaint. Nobody called us to discuss the matter. Total disrespect for customers! So far, the staff has built a firewall around the so-called managers (they are either in meetings or not in the office) and we were basically shut down. We decided to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Supposedly, the company is recording phone calls...I hope that is true, because there will be a record of all our attempts to get this matter resolved. read more

I initially used my plumber plus to take a look at my water heater. There was an airflow issue, very quick and easy fix. However, they trick you into signing up for a service agreement and pay 25 dollars a month. The company claims that you receive discounts and they check on your HVAC system and plumbing regularly. The technician said we could cancel at anytime. It's been 6 months and they are still charging my credit card. I called the My Plumber Plus, and they tried to re-schedule my appointment to two days later. Run away. There was water all around the drip pan under our hot water heater. The good: My Plumber sent a guy out right away. In about 90 seconds, he diagnosed a leaking tank, which struck me as odd given the drip pan, but he said it had overfilled and dumped the water through the attached drain pipe. He then quoted me prices for tankless and tanked that felt high. I told him I was going to call around for quotes and he suddenly remembered a discount he could offer. I still called around and found that My Plumber's (discounted) price was still abusive. I settled on Tankless Concepts in Merrifield (highly recommended). They came out to do the install and we determined that the water was from something else draining in the same place, and the water heater wasn't even leaking. read more

I called this morning as my toilet decided to no longer work. Within the time frame promised, someone was at my door, and worked quickly and most efficiently to fix the issue. They didn't charge me a dispatch fee as a first time customer(save $80) and because it wasn't a major fix -its actually something I can do myself, they didn't charge me a dime! Yep. He fixed it for about $200 - with a year guarantee (a reasonable price, I think! -- plus five other people had tried to fix it - non-plumbers - and couldn't). It took him about twenty minutes. We have a service contract with My Plumber. Despite that, when we recently had an electrical problem that resulted in most of our house being without electricity, they strung us along from Saturday afternoon until Tuesday evening, when I finally cancelled the call and went with another company. Never did they tell us they were too busy to respond, they just kept telling us that we were on the service list and should get a serviceman soon (within the hour. . . . you're on today's list . . we have other customers who have emergencies --like our having no electricity in most of the house for 3 1/2 days wasn't an emergency?). And keep in mind this is how they treat people with a service contract! These people will not be honest, or treat you fairly. read more

So I called them to replace my garbage disposal unit. I told them that I will buy a new replacement Insinknerator from homedepot so they will just charge me the installation fee. The receptionist told me that the tech will have to come to my house and give an estimate. So I obliged. On the day of the appointment, the tech arrived late. Fine. Total quote was over 1000, he then upsold into a package for inspecting your plumbing and heating. Told me to keep running the a/c, he would order the parts and it would 3-5 business days. A/C failed about an hour later, called back and asked if we could put a rush on the part, I was then informed it was not ordered yet and call back Monday. I am so disappointed. I had used My Plumber in the past and had no problems. Well, I called them when a pipe froze in my house. The plumber got here looked at the area he first quotes me $1,000.00!!! I explained I could not afford that he went down to $972.00. I told him that was still to high. He went down to $700.00. After saying that I was not claiming this on my homeowners insurance the price dropped to $575.00. I was desperate so I said ok for the work. After he left I called the company asking for a break down of all charges and an explanation to why the first estimate was at $1,000 and magically dropped close to 50% in less then 8 minutes. Well first im told that the service manager had already left at 4:30pm, but he would be given my information and he would contact me. I expressed my concern over the huge difference. Well no one has ever contacted me. I did contact my homeowners insurance and the adjuster warned me that companies give an outrageous price in hopes the owner will say yes and use their homeowners insurance. Least my insurance company knows about this company and has made notes so others do not go through this. So disappointed!!! read more

Very nice. However, friends told me that they gave me a super-inflated estimate simply because I'm a single female; and this was from a guy that told me that! My basement was flooding. It was the second time it's done that in 3 years since I've lived there. I'm strapped for cash right now because I've got a lot of things happening in my life right now. However, they insisted on the Cadillac of sump pumps + french drain around my townhouse, costing approximately 10k. They weren't willing to do it a little at a time either, just telling me they have financing and can get me the paperwork. That was rude. I work, pay my own bills, and am constantly fighting to just keep employed simply because I don't have a wang. If I get the slightest inkling I'm being taken advantage of by a company because I'm female, they've lost my business and everyone else that I know. If you want them to give you an estimate, fine. Just also call All Seasons Plumbing & Heating and notice the substantial difference in price. Ten thousand vs. $1900, doing things one step at a time to see what works the best for your particular issue, makes more sense than spending thousands upon thousands that might not even be necessary. read more

He did little besides nod - no conversation, no information provided about what he thought about the issue, nothing. After doing most of the heavy lifting, the plumber walked out to his truck and came back with an estimate. And what an estimate - he wanted to charge me almost $400 for a washer! Took my money and left. Overall: For a $80 estimate I expect more than a dead fish impersonation, and the 'expert' should know more about the issues than me. Do not recommend. The most terrible service ever. I have used them before and they have broken tiles on my bathroom floor repairing a toilet; sink faucet never worked right after they installed a new one; diverter repair on bath tub lasted a little over a year. Each time when you call back to complain they act as if it is your problem and not theirs. Plus they try to up-sell you on work that you don't need. The plumbers for the most part seem like new-bees and this is where they have OJT before they move on to a real plumbing company. Stay away. The only thing they do right is show up. My 81 year old mother, in Alexandria, VA, called My Plumber Plus to fix a leaking kitchen faucet March 17, 2021. The plumber arrived and replaced her faucet in about 90 minutes. When the job was completed, he presented her with an invoice for $983.00 for a "Special Faucet". I contacted the Dispute Resolution Manager to inquire about the cost and was told that My Plumber Plus works on a "flat fee" and does not break down time and materials. After crediting my mother's credit card for approximately $90 (a $35 coupon and senior citizen discount that the plumber "forgot" to give her), the manager said she would forward paperwork to me that showed my mother signed an authorization for the work to be performed. I have never received the documentation because my mother was never given an estimate for the faucet replacement, she was only presented with an invoice. I saw a picture of the faucet and it appears to be a Moen Sleek brushed nickel single handle which retails for $326.83 at Home Depot. As I stated, my mother is 81 years old and she lives on social security. She told me that she never would have consented to the installation of a $300+ faucet for a total of $983.00. I had the misfortune of dealing with My Plumber over a year ago when some water started backing up into my basement. Now they're the nightmare that won't go away. In the past 3 days, My Plumber has called my phone 11 times. Yes, eleven. They start calling me at 9 in the morning, and don't stop until nearly 7. All this harassment from a company I wouldn't let do the work for free. I was willing to try and forget let the miserable experience of having them in my house, but since they won't leave me alone, I thought I'd share the experience. The experience of having them in my home was terrible. They were only interested in upselling they're already overpriced services. Imagine inviting a used car salesman into your home. Rude, condescending, and pushy. When I told them I wasn't interested, they started pushing financing. "Don't worry, we have a deal with a bank." Finance, finance, finance! That's all they care about, draining as much money as possible out of you. The quote they gave me was in excess of $10K. I had the job done elsewhere for less than a quarter of that. My Plumber was awesome, as was Ted W, my plumber. They came out as scheduled, polite, neat, gave me a very reasonable quote, and did the work correctly and quickly. The work was to install a garbage disposal, and replace a bathroom tub faucet handle and shower diverter that had been broken by another plumber. (O'Neill Plumbing - absolutely awful, read all filtered reviews on them if you're considering). Ted fixed my shower for less that the other guys charged me to break it, had the disposal in fast, cleaned up afterwards, was very nice, professional, and reasonable. I will say that they seem to quote the high end parts (disposals, anyway) first, but ask for more options, and you're in business. No complaints at all, and I'd use them again in a second. They also have same day service in a pinch. A+ read more

Normally, I would give this plumber 5 stars. Came to replace a kitchen faucet and was done in 20 minutes. Gave me some choices (only Moen), and got to work after I signed off. They were clean, respectful, and very efficient. I'm giving MyPlumber three stars because they are expensive. I thought the price was very expensive so I called some other plumbers to get estimates for the same work/faucet. Turns out MyPlumber charged about $200 more than what others would have. I appreciate the fast and clean service, but I'm not sure it was worth $200 more to me. read more

Never ever use MyPlumber Heating and Cooling!!! We had a blockage in our upstairs bathroom with the toilet not flushing and the shower not draining so called MyPlumber. The technician snaked the blockage pasted the main drains and did not push the blockage far enough before running the taps to check his work. Subsequently raw sewerage come up through the laundry floor flooding the laundry, basement carpet and spare room. The smell was terrible and the carpet in the basement and spare room soaked in raw sewerage. With three little children running around my house, it was not pleasant. Initially they took full responsibility and had a contractor out to rip up the laundry floor, tear up the carpets in the basement and spare room and leave 13 fans and humidifiers to soak up the mess for three days. THEN they called to tell me they were no longer going to foot the bill and left me with a completely ruined and usable basement that was my children's playroom and no place for my visitors to sleep. Not only did they flood my house with sewerage, we had three more technicians in to seal the toilet and fix up the first 'technicians' mistakes.... It is now five weeks ago since they came, we still have no formal call from the manager as promised and no explanation as to why they did not take responsibility for the problem they caused. We have had more than 20 contractors come through the house to fix the problem caused by a plumber who did not spend 10 more minutes to fix the inital problem then a company who took no responsibility for the failing of their own actions. The ethics of this company are truly questionable. A true nightmare!! Never use them.... read more

I called My Plumber to fix a leaky washer connection. The hose connected to the washer had corroded onto the spout and would not budge. It turns out the spout was leaking behind the wall as well. Chris W. came out and handled the problem with no issue. I totally appreciated Chris' no nonsense communication style and will request him for future plumbing work I may require in the future. He laid out the facts with options and we moved forward quickly--too easy. My plumber is not the cheapest service around, but you can count on them to show up as agreed upon in my experience and the work is done professionally. The dispatch team did a good job of keeping me informed when Chris would arrive so I didn't have to waste the day waiting around. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the wonderful service provided by My Plumbers from June 22 through June 26.. They found our problem and Jason installed a new sump pump. He did an excellent job. Then, the next day the drain for the a/c started to overflow. The a/c specialist,Nick, came and said that it was really a plumbing problem. However, he didn't leave and worked for hours to dislodge a clog and made certain that our a/c was working properly. They didn't call back in the am, and when I called to reschedule, they gave me a 4-hour window and then didn't bother to show up. They never even bothered to verify the phone number they had when I called in the am. They offered to come by 9pm and I told them to just forget it!
