I explained the issues I had and she listened to everything I said and made sure to work on those areas. If you have never had a Thai massage, and you have a lot of aches and pains.. I highly suggest to go. The deep tissue is not a relaxation massage.. she gets in there and massages your sore points. They even have the option where they walk on your back and body but I was too sore for that. She pinpointed areas that I was feeling tight and she helped relax those areas. If you need a really good massage, you need to come check out this place. I like that they also offer you water on your way out! I reserved a 60 minute Swedish Massage with Nancy on Saturday, August 27, along with Aromatherapy. It was far and away the best massage I've ever experienced. I was unaware how tightly wound my body had become over the last 10 years or more. Nancy was instrumental in working out the dozens of knots that had built up throughout my entire muscular system. I came out a brand new person. Nancy helped me out to loosen the knots. I did 90 mins of thai massage. The legit kind. I trusted my guts and the certification displayed on the wall. I have been to a lot of thai parlors but most are chinese and not thai. Here, they climb the rop and step on your back. This aint for the faint heart. You gotta speak if it hurts. I didnt speak I took it all in because its been 5-6 months i didnt have any massage and I needed it badly. But for the first timers, tell them be light or gentle. This isnt your relax spa. This is pure reset. I think if you want to relax u do swedish. Thai is seriously positional hard core. They include hot stones, oil and a lot of aromatics. It felt im going in the oven and soften me up. It similar to going inside a spa thats hot and relaxes your muscle after work. Book ahead. It was my first time and lucky enough they got a spot. They got a website so book there. There is a bit of a barrier in terms of service that I want but they are warm and friendly. Book online that is your google translate. Anyway, would be coming back. I wish I took a picture of their services but the parking is small and only for an hour. Parking is in the apartment complex beside it ! Over all, Nancy helped me reset my muscle. I'm not a local, but was visiting with some down time. I've had at least dozens of Thai massages over the years. The good ones feel good but also hurt. They really stretch you out and get to those problem areas. I've had a situation brewing in my neck and my hips for awhile and was looking for someone to work their magic. This place had amazing reviews, so I booked online, 90 minute Thai therapeutic, with Miw. The therapists that had been specifically mentioned in other reviews were not available. I can only say it was one of the most bizarre? Weird? Massages I've had. I paid upfront because it was less than 24 hours. I did not pay for cupping or any scrubs. I asked when I got there if she'd have time to add on a 30 minute foot reflexology, and she said no. No problem. I told her about my shoulder/neck and hips. She went to work. But it really seemed like she wasn't sure what she was doing. It was a lot of moving oil around on my back, some walking, which seemed pretty normal. Then she sat on a chair in front of my head and put her feet on my shoulders/neck area and kept hitting my in the head with her foot. Then she left the room and went to the restroom and came back.... And climbed back up again. Did she wear shoes into the bathroom? Did she clean her feet before standing on me again? Because she did not make sure the sheet full covered the areas she was walking on. When she got done, she decided to do some cupping. I've never had it done before, have never really been interested in it, and I can't say it's helped my neck or my back. Which is covered in bruises, but not just round ones. She went up and down my back with a few of them, so it looks like someone took a bat to my back. Even the round cups obviously moved some because many of them aren't just round. While those were.... Doing whatever they do on my back, she decided to do a sugar or salt scrub on both of my legs. All the way up. Not sure why; like I said, I didn't pay for this? Then she left and got a bucket of water that she sloshed all over, and did her best to get it all off, but left tons in between my toes. The sheet was wet, the sheet I was laying on was wet. Just really weird. When she asked me to turn over, she didn't life the sheet over me while I turned. Which is pretty standard? I dunno. Like I said, just the weirdest experience I've ever had getting a massage (and besides Thai massages, Ive gotten literally hundreds over the last 15 years). Maybe stick with one of the therapists mentioned in the other reviews, or go somewhere else. She didn't try to charge me extra, so that's good. The place was clean. We came here by recommendation of a friend. This massage place is also closer to us than the other place we normally go to. We got 60 min Thai/deep tissue couples massage - free "cupping" and hot stone included Our masseuses were Julia and patty? I think. They both started on our shoulders, it was lighter than I had wanted but eventually the pressure became stronger. They have grab bars on the ceiling to walk on our backs. There was a thin blanket on me but I think she would go over the blanket and barefoot on me. I usually have knots underneath my shoulder blades. it didn't feel like she was really trying to feel for the knots. Just a firmer pressure rubbing over my back with her forearms and maybe cos I'm a woman, she didn't walk on my back but she did walk on my butt and legs. For the Back, she always kept one foot on lower body and used other for my back. Also, I like head massages, could have been more. I've never had cupping but I've seen glass cups with a flame. This felt like plastic suction cups and it also felt a little wet, as if they were washed and not fully dried. So when the cups went on, it was cold and something's slightly wet. I never felt prepared for it when she would put another on. I would opt out of this if I ever came back. Hot stone, it was ok, majority of the times ( and it's only been a handful), when I get hot stones). I'm weary because the stones are so hot. There's only been one time where I didn't flinch from the heat and this was not the one. The heat was bearable but it wasn't a smooth transition when the hot stone touched my skin. Part of me wondered what the massage would've been like if not for the time taken for the cupping and hot stone, if it would've been a little more thorough and more searching for my knots and working on taking them out. The couple room is not a true couple room. It's two separate rooms with a doorway located at the head of the beds that opens, so you can see into each others room. The walls are thin. Thankfully the music is inside the room, but the guy was outside my door talking so loudly, it was disturbing my peace. My husband luckily couldn't hear him on his end. I also like to grade my massages by if I fall asleep, I was awake the entire time. In the end, the guy said you get a free sheet mask for the couple 90min massages included. Also one free massage for every 10 massages. You get a lunch card. Parking is limited to street, it's business in located with townhomes in the back, so I think the parking lot belongs to them. Bathroom was clean and massage room is clean. They have hooks and a basket for your clothes and belongings and hair ties available to tie hair. I think if you leave a yelp review you get incentive as well. They have a second location that offers different services such as facials close by off 3rd in CV. The lady that was at the desk said it would be 80 dollars. Thing is I just wanted something to relax no deep pressure (which is extra) the price on the poster was 65. She said I had to pay 80 because I was a walk in. I was confused, I even asked to clarify, are you charging me more because I'm a walk in and she said yes. Walked out disappointed because my first experience was awesome. But now I guess if I ever want to come I have to call hours ahead to save my self some money.
