He and his crew was very polite and super clean. At the end of the day you couldn't tell anyone even worked outside. He gave me an estimate time of two- three weeks to complete the job. He was done in less than two weeks. Mainly because the railing came in on time. These men worked from 7am till after 5 everyday. I had absolutely no issues with them at all. In our 16 years of owning a redwood deck, we have never had a company do such a thorough refinishing job involving cleaning, stripping, sanding, and restaining which is their standard process. The crew, Luis and Adrian, worked constantly for the two days they were here, in the recent heat wave, no less. They also refinished our four Adirondack chairs. The work was meticulous, they cleaned up after themselves leaving our patio cleaner than they found it, and all of the wood results are absolutely beautiful. After being promised one date and price by a high profile teak refinisher, I called to re-confirm as the date got closer. They said sorry, the date wasn't available anymore plus my Adirondack chair and side table (which they priced by looking at photos I sent them) would cost more and take longer than agreed upon. The My Teak Pro team did a great job on our tiki hut / gazebo. It was a several day project, but they finished on time and continuously kept me updated. It's absolutely worth paying a professional like them to do all the power washing, sanding, and several coats of teak that are required for furniture that looks brand new when maintained. I found Fine Wood Finishers through social media while following a different account of a stair…read morebuilder. When looking for contractors to build the stairs, I noticed the same stair builder was always posting about Fine Wood Finishers. Let me make something very clear to everyone reading this, I work for a large commericial union paint company. Even though we are great painters, we do not do any sort of staining or "finishing" of stair cases as we don't do single family residential projects. I reached out via social media to Fine Wood Finishers and received a very quick response from them. After messaging back and forth, we finally just exchanged phone numbers and discussed the project in length. Trust slowly being achieved. Of course the biggest concern I had was trusting someone with a brand new stair case. Good woodwork can turn to garbage if the finish is poorly applied. I also struggled with trusting the oak treads and rail could be color matched to the faux finish of the LVP flooring. Bryan came to my house to pick up a piece of LVP floor and some scrap treads to begin color matching. We signed the proposal and a within a few days Bryan and crew mobilized to my house and began the prep work. They seemed to have applied 4+ coats of pigmented clear coat to get the color to our liking. At this point we had trust in Bryan. Work began in October 2024. What really impressed me was how they used small pinpoint brushes to apply dark tint to each of the nail heads that were filled with puddy. Once the color was achieved the next step was applying the white finish to the risers, stringer and wainscot paneling. Bryan did most if not all the spraying himself. Multiple coats of primer and at least 2 coats of finish. Last step was caulking all the joints. As I write this review today September 10, 2025, I can confirm the quality of the finish is as good today as it was on day #1. The products used are top notch and the application was excellent. I am so happy every time I go up and down the stairs knowing the investment I made in Fine Wood Finishers was well worth every dollar. The stairs are the first thing people see when they enter my house, and I couldn't be happier when I receive compliments from guests. Bryan and his crew proved they could be trusted.

I gave them the job of refinishing my house front door for $3.800. Barocio asked for half down and wanted a full payment immediately after completion, which I paid promptly. Well, bubbles started showing a few days later. He refused to repair the job unless I pay him again. I reminded him that there is an implied warranted on any work he does and insisted he does the repair. He eventually promised to fix it. That was in March 2025. He kept promising to come over but never showed up. It's now August and I gave up on him. I'm just going to have another refinished do the repair and charge it back to Barocio.

I got an email later that day requesting photos of my furniture, which I sent the next day. I didn't hear back for a few days and sent a follow up email. I ultimately got a phone call from the business owner. Apparently, there are some issues with the online messaging system they have on their website. Despite this, the owner and I worked out everything over the phone and via text messages. I would recommend Aguilar's Teak Restoration for anyone wanting to get their teak furniture in top condition. Thankfully they waived the fee. I trusted that they would do a good job based on their portfolio. They were accurate in their timeline for the completion of the project and the resulting hutch looks fantastic, I have no complaints there. The main reason I am giving this business two stars is because their communication leaves A LOT to be desired. I asked for progress photos as they were working on the piece in their shop. They never sent pictures until I had to follow up and ask for them. They knew ahead of time that they were going to need to deliver my piece urgently because they were going to need all the space in their shop for their next project. Yet, they did not communicate this with me until the very last minute, what were they going to do with my piece if I was unavailable for delivery when they needed it gone? That seemed like poor planning to me. Upon the initial quoting of the piece, I specifically asked them to not only have the main mirror replaced by their third party, but also have the antique locks repaired. I provided them with a key that fit the lock to aid in this process. They returned my piece to me with not only the lock issue not addressed, but also with one of the cabinet doors not fully functional (which is not how it was when they took the piece at the beginning). I had to report this issue after they had already left. It was only then that he recommended I contact his third party locksmith to resolve the issue. His recommended locksmith (Sav-Mor Lock & Key) has been completely unresponsive, and I can't find other locksmiths who specialize in antique locks. I then asked Haer where is the key that I gave them when they picked up the hutch, and it was only THEN that they told me they tried to test the key in one of the locks and a piece of the key broke off and is STILL currently stuck in one of the locks (they also didn't specify which lock they tested either). I am extremely disappointed and frustrated because I clearly specified all my needs before they accepted the project, and now I received an incomplete service. They have also stopped responding to my communications completely, which I find outrageous and irresponsible. I also got the impression that working on my project was a chore for them, as if I didn't pay top dollar for them to give me their best work. Again, in terms of their actual craftsmanship, Jose (who I believe did most of the work) did a great job. However, communication is a huge factor in determining who I award my business to, and based on my experience I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting them with another one of my projects.

To my surprise Armando returned with an assistant and the two of them cleaned the Mexican terra cotta pavers better than ever. They worked whole day and got into corners, I didn't know existed. It was pristine. The next morning, bright and early, Armando was back with a new assistant. The set about preparing and dealing with a semi-gloss finish. I stepped out to pick up some odds and ends to return to see the second coat. Wow! Armando is a floor restoration artist. If you don't use Sunshine, your nuts.
