Driving down San Fernand (now Newhall Ave) you see this little run down hole in the wall with it's pealing paint, no heat, no aircon and parked right next door to the Santa Clarita Motel. How can this not be the best tire shop in town! All amenities aside I've been going to MyTire store to buy tires and for installs of speciality tires purchased online. The two guys working the register have ALWAYS been super accommodating (as has been said) and they get you in and out as quick as possible. You try finding another tire shop in town open on a Sunday! Keep in mind this is NOT the Ritz Carlton of tire shops, I like to call this place "rustic". The added bonus, if you care about these things, this is the only shop in town that still does wheel alignments by hand. This is important if you're looking for a shop that knows how to give you 2degrees of negative camber and can set you up with even tire wear (crazy I know!) If you're in need they can take care of you. Give them a call as they are more than happy to do phone quotes. They beat most shops I've tried out here. read more

I have never bought tires from these guys but I want to recommend them for being so accomodating and willing to help me out!! I had just moved to the area and I got a rip in a tire in the process. I had bought the tire where I used to live so I called them to find out the price of replacing it. But when I got my spare put on at a local garage, they told me not to drive far on it. They sent me down the road to My New Tire. At My New Tire I spoke with Chris who gave me a quote on a replacement tire. This was more expensive than I was quoted by my old tire store. I was in a bind, how could I get to the other place? Chris very kindly offered to lend me a tire so that I could get there!! In this day and age when businesses need every penny they can get, having someone loan you something of value so that you could go somewhere else is just unheard of. I want to acknowledge the selfless spirit with which they do business. Now that I live here, My Tire Store is just that. I will be giving them my business and sending anyone who asks me. read more

I have been there three times in the past, and just cannot find another tire store that can beat their prices. I went to another tire store that was closer at first, but them called My Tire Store in the end. It's a small shop in what you might consider not an upscale area, but that probably is how they keep their prices down. This will be my third set of tires here. read more

My sons car had a flat tire and after having been to SEARS earlier in the day and being told that all the tires on his car were extremely dangerous ,cracking with rot and could have a blow out on the freeway at anytime, I of course was very concerned and contemplating buying 4 new tires(as I was pitched over and over by the sales guy), even though all his tires had an enormous amount of tread left. Not to mention that I was just coming in for 1 flat tire...that I was hoping they could patch. I also need to bring in my husband's car...because he had two tires that were leaking and in need of a patch. Anyway, after waiting 2 two hours...walking around the mall with a cranky toddler...I finally went back to see what was taking so long..as I walked up to the desk , I was told I needed a new tire. I asked for some prices and asked if any of tires I was being told about were similar to the ones that were on his car currently. He said no and at that time the other sales guy asked what kind of tires were they? My sales guys said...."4 year old cracking rotting tires". At that point I had had enough and asked for my spare to be put back on the car so I could leave and discuss with my husband what to do. I was then told that they could not find the cause of the flat and they filled up the original tire and put it back on the car...I found it interesting that they did not tell me that in the first place. I tell you all this back story so you understand how wonderful My Tire Store in Newhall truly is. My girlfriend told me about this place, so I flew over there with my husband's car...they fixed both his flat tires in less than 15 minutes (as promised) and then said it was on the house. Chris was awesome...I told him about my frustration with Sears and he said he would be happy to look over my sons car. I returned later that day, Chris inspected my sons tires...he told me that they were 5 years old but in really good condition...Even though they recommend you replace your tires every 4 years. He reassured me that his tires were fine...the cracking was normal and not severe at all. Chris was very helpful, knowledgeable and most of all honest. I felt very comfortable putting my son back in his car and on the road I would highly recommend them. They have a new and loyal customer in me. Thanks so much. read more

I now see why someone's review indicated that there is no reason to go anywhere else. I research stuff a lot! It's what I do. Andy's prices can simply not be beat, at least here in the Santa Clarita Valley. He'll get you any kind of tires, whether street or performance. He uses Centric brake pads, like most other shops, but will actually let you provide your own and charge you reasonably for the labor. I've lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for 30 years, most recently within 5 blocks of My Tire Store. I had never thought of coming here. Don't let the exterior fool you. Don't expect fancy waiting rooms with flat panel TV's. He doesn't have the overhead of other shops, and that's the difference. There are some fine automotive shops in the SCV. But if you primarily only need Tires, Brakes, and Alignment (I believe), and price is a concern, please consider this shop. read more

Went in yesterday to get two rear tires. The man that helped me was really nice and offered me tires that day, later in the day because they didn't have my tires or I could come back the next day (today) and it would be cheaper. Wasn't much cheaper but I said I can come back. Came back this am and they helped me right away. Said it would take about 45 minutes and I could wait in the wait room. The man came back in about 1/2 hour and said my car was ready. Paid exactly what I was quoted the previous day. They didn't try and sell me an alignment like most tire places. They called me by my name every time they talked to me. They even put my spare tire back in my trunk even though my trunk was a disaster. So hands down my favorite tire place. Very friendly, great prices and fast. You guys rock! I'll be back for sure. read more

Had to get my tires balanced waited a long time because first come first served, finally Andy got me in line, They took two tires off started to work on the wheel, checked one called me over and told me that all the tires were bad he called it a yo-yo effect well I know tires are all like new Only have about 15k , and only needed rotation and balance..Andy told me he could set me up with all 4 new tires & gave a price.. I asked that he put the 2 tires back and I would think about it. I than went to another wheel and tire place had all 4 tires checked ..They said the run out on the tires was less than 2/16 on all four....found that the tires all perfect.. I had them balanced no issues I've been dealing with My tire store for some time now but this was the first time I ever had such a hard sell.. not sure what happened maybe MY TIRE STORE needs more money? I will consider going to My Tire Store?? Maybe next time.. read more

This place is INCREDIBLE. My dad always brings his business here because he knows they will not scam you or rack up the price. They will always give you their genuine honesty and have amazing credibility. I always trust them for what I need and they always give the best business. My brakes were squeaking and my dad couldn't figure out why - turns out, they were a little dusty. They took my car in and cleaned up the brakes and sent me on my way free of charge in less than 30 minutes. I've been coming here since 2004 for tires. Andy, Chris, and the rest of the guys are good dudes. They're easy to deal with, friendly and honest. When I moved to Valencia and started looking for new tires, top priority was price. I found My Tire Store to have the best prices in town. I gave them a shot and the rest was history. I also come here for mechanical work like replacing and installing parts - brakes, suspension, etc. Whenever I need parts installed, I call them first to see if they can do it. A really honest shop! Once while I was at work my husband noticed one of our tires was going flat fast (we live right around the corner) so he dropped by the shop already assuming he was gonna have to pay for a whole new tire. The guy who assisted him took a look and told my husband, "You don't need a new tire. A patch will fix that up, no problem." He could have charged my husband 100+ but he only had to pay $5 and went on his way. Because of this, we thought about this shop the next time we needed to truely get a tire change and we got a really good deal. A really nice, kind bunch of people who will sell you something you need, not what they want to unload. Hard to find that these days. They took care of me, then a month later, my daughter and her friends drove down for spring break, and the girl driving tore her fairly new tire.
