If you want to spend over 300 dollars for small portions and watered down drinks and bad service, then be my guest. We made reservations and were a party of 7. The service was so slow, and the food isn't worth the money they charged. Their portions are so small, and plates don't come out at the same time. We ordered a hookah which came as we asked for the check and we had ordered coffee which never came and the waiter claimed the machine was having problems and needed about ten more minutes while the other waiter in front of us was pouring coffee for the people that were seated. My friend bought me a cake for my birthday and the waiting went in the kitchen and they charged us a $25.00 cutting fee!! They added a $60.00 tip on top of our $300 dollar bill, which I think is pretty ridiculous for the poor service we got. We went to this place to celebrate Valentine's Day yesterday. The hostess was very nice, but the service went downhill after that. The waiter (older gentleman) didn't even say Happy Valentine's Day, didn't smile at all, and didn't have much of a personality. He also didn't give us much of a chance to look at the menu before wanting us to order; i felt rushed. When i ordered a club soda with lime from him, the food runner, a woman with glasses, came by with an entire lime and asked "Do you want me to cut this?" Lol. Maybe she's never heard of people wanting limes with drinks. Also 99% of the wait staff didn't wear masks, which is unacceptable. Some of the food was tasty and others were just okay, but they didn't hit it out of the park. The portions were small that we still felt hungry after finishing the prefixed 5 course meal. Price was pretty high, but that's to be expected anywhere, especially with rooftop dining on Valentine's Day. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but definitely did not meet expectations. We came for drinks so I can't speak on the food, but make sure to still make a reservation. Valet was easy and staff were friendly. When we got to the hostess, we asked if we could sit at the couches, but they said there was a $500 minimum spending to sit there so we ended up at a table in the corner which still gave us a nice view. The heaters by the tables really help at night. We ordered the pomegranate mojito, the mule, and the mezcalito which were all good. I felt like I was in LA without having to swerve away from 30 bad drivers while paying 30 dollars to park in a sketchy parking lot whom I don't know if the same guy working the lot would be there upon my return and if I would have to pay again ... if you're from LA none of this is news lmao I make my way up to the rooftop and I am in awe. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing, and the cocktails were here ven better. Don't miss out on their Negroni ... they make a proper one. Had to open a yelp just to write about my horrible experience. Our server Garen the definition of expired and useless! Only came up to us in the beginning to take drink orders and in the end to hand us the bill and even then he was rushing us and trying to leave as soon as possible. We were sitting at a couch with a fire place and heaters around us but he didn't even know how to turn them on. He had to ask for help from the bussers. By the way we thank god for the bussers! Helping us get our orders to the server, that once again only came up to us ONCE!!! And this guy still had the audacity to yell at one of the bussers about a coffee. I lived two properties away while they build the Glenmark Hotel by Marriot. I was excited to visit the rooftop restaurant and eventually made my way up there. Amazing views of Glendale... definitely try to sit on the south side of the roof. Food was nothing out of this world, but gets big kudos for ambiance and the fact you can smoke hookah and or cigars up there. They have a nice bar and the service is okay. We came to this hotel for a quick totally casual getaway. Before arriving, we glanced at the menu for Mya, noticed the "smart casual" dress code, and upon check in, the hostess graciously made us a reservation. It was not until we exited the elevator, literally steps away from the entrance to the restaurant, was the detailed dress policy noted -- no shorts. My partner was wearing dress shorts and a high end polo, definitely what qualifies as "smart casual" in SF area. We were denied our seating! Nowhere else was this policy stated, and the hostesses were very apologetic, stating that this was a brand new policy. This was literally a 630pm reservation -- long before the apparently anticipated beautiful people were expected. We are big foodies and would have easily dropped a couple of Benjamins on drinks and dinner and been on our way before anyone could be horrified of our attire. When the hostesses asked the manager, he loudly stated -- in our faces, but not to us -- that this "is a hard NO", leaving the poor hostesses to do his dirty work. This is Glendale, not NYC -- do yourself a favor and avoid the feaux exclusivity of this hotel restaurant -- we enjoyed an amazing dinner at the steakhouse down the road. What a joke. read more

The only thing edible on the menu we had was the miso black cod in lettuce cups. The truffle fries had standard frozen fries with chunks of truffles, no oil. The tuna stack was like tuna salad between saltine crackers, & the grilled sea bass was mushy with no flavor! For the cost, I expect a better chef that has tastebuds! The service was kind of slow, it seemed like there were only 2 servers covering a majority of the rooftop and getting their attention was kind of tough, but they were both great and engaging with everyone. We decided to give this place a try for a somewhat early dinner. I would rate the space itself 4 stars. it's a nice relaxing setting. The tables are spaced enough and the sofas and fire pits looked cozy. The lights that come on after sunset are a nice touch. The food was meh. Maybe a 3. We ordered the filet and it was not very tender. The lamp chops were under seasoned and the two I had at the restaurant were cooked to different temps. One was medium well and the other was well. We ordered them medium. There was no pink in the lamb chops. The veggies were basic sautéed and not very well seasoned. Both meats were covered in what seemed to be a type of gravy which didn't add anything and seemed to be a cover for likely lower quality meats. I also wish the plating was less a haphazard pile of food and more thought out and eye pleasing. It had backyard bbq feel (pile a food all mixed over itself) versus a rooftop restaurant feel. Side note while I'm on aesthetics, I was also put off by the black cloth napkins that were linty. We also ordered the spicy tuna stack and a blue crab hand roll which were both surprisingly good. The espresso creme brûlée had more of a flan consistency, an artificial sweetener type of after taste and no hard sugar top. I kind of wished we skipped it all together. The cocktail we ordered was delicious and well balanced. The beer came out cold. Thumbs up on the drinks. The service was decent. The lady checking people in once you got off the elevator wasn't welcoming. She felt more like a gatekeeper than host (not rude, just not friendly). The lady in the lobby downstairs when we walked into the hotel was much friendlier and welcoming. All in all, food and drinks came out fast and we did get checked on. The space is nice but we just thought it needed to level up to balance the price point. We spent just a hair under $200 for dinner and didn't feel that was well spent when we left. read more

We had ordered drinks, food, hookah, dessert and they were all SO GOOD! I hadn't come across such exceptional customer service in a long time but Carlos seriously outdid himself and I had to make sure to write this review especially for him. Even though it's on a rooftop, they have more than enough heaters to keep everyone nice and warm. The event specialist, Tatevik helped us to organize all the event down to every detail imaginable, and managed it from beginning to end, she made sure the event was going 100 % the way that we wanted it to be. The same goes for her team, the servers, Christopher and Ashton were doing an amazing job, being super nice, professional and positive throughout the whole night, and not to mention, extremely catering to my daughter and all her guests. Mila had so much potential to be perfect but it was quiet the opposite. We came in for mother's day brunch. It was a set menu of about 10 small different dishes that would be served at $55 dollars a person. Unfortunately when we got there they weren't even set up. The restaurant had opened an hour prior. Everyone was running around confused. The place was soaking wet and dirty. After about 30mins we were finally greeted by a very confused waiter. Our lunch took over 2hrs, again very unprepared and they only brought out 3 of the items that were being served. Then he gave us the bill. When we asked him about the other items he told us it was a 90min seating per table and told us we had to leave. I feel very robbed and chipped. I will never recommend this place to anyone and I suggest the Manger or owner reach out to me for a refund. Very disappointed and annoyed. read more

I called on a Friday and they said they had no times available, after a second call and "double checking" for even when they just open she said she can "fit us in". When I tell you it was EMPTY, I mean maybe 3 parties there on the WHOLE rooftop. We had a few dishes including the sliders (subpar), a few sushi rolls (subpar), sashimi (also subpar), and dessert (delicious). The 3 stars go to the dessert, server, and the bartender who saved the experience! The drinks are definitely delicious or at least the 3 different cocktails we had.
