And upon my leaving the room, i noticed that it was still not disposed of. Ugh~! The doctor seemed very thorough and very good at explaining things to me, I think I might switch from my normal optometrist to this one. So that should I have eye problems in the future, I won't have to end up looking for an Opthamalogist, but could just have a one stop shop! So for convenience sake, I am switching.

I did so in the early AM, and the appointment was set for 4:30PM. I was told the doctor would send an email with a link for the call beforehand. Nothing showed up and no call came; so at 5:15 I called the office and was told not to worry, he was running late; but would call. At 6:05PM, I called back again and was told he was still with a patient and would call. No link or call ever came. Completely unprofessional and inexcusable.

When I was seen for my appointment I sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes and upon inquiring, was told that the first patient was late and it would be another 10 minutes. As a result, I needed to end my business with this company. The staff was nice but their procedures need to be reviewed.

Unfortunately, the business was sold to My Eye Doctor and although Dr. Way is still there, the homey feel of the business is gone as are the great selection of frames they used to have. The last time I was there the frames were from a company owned business and they were horrible. I will still see Dr. Way, but get a prescription and go elsewhere for my eyeglasses, which is sad because they used to have a great selection before it was sold to My Eye Doctor.

They did not have samples of my current contacts, so they had me try a new brand. The person who assisted me advised we'd order both and then choose which ones to keep once they come in, charging me the cheaper of the options. After a month or so and no contacts I called in and was advised they had been waiting on my decision on the contacts. May have been a misunderstanding as I had thought I was going to choose once both pairs come in. After they clarified needing my response I confirmed the pair I wanted and they advised they'd be delivered to my house in 1-2 weeks. After another 4 weeks and no contacts I call back and ask for a status. They again state they were waiting on my decision and there must have been a misunderstanding when I called last, but that they were putting the order in and it would arrive in 1-2 weeks. Here's to hoping they actually make it here! Staff is nice, but seems to be a lot of miscommunications.
