And upon my leaving the room, i noticed that it was still not disposed of. Ugh~! The doctor seemed very thorough and very good at explaining things to me, I think I might switch from my normal optometrist to this one. So that should I have eye problems in the future, I won't have to end up looking for an Opthamalogist, but could just have a one stop shop! So for convenience sake, I am switching.

Nothing showed up and no call came; so at 5:15 I called the office and was told not to worry, he was running late; but would call. At 6:05PM, I called back again and was told he was still with a patient and would call. No link or call ever came. Completely unprofessional and inexcusable.

The technician doing the testing was thorough and friendly. There is not always a doctor in the office. My visit with Doctor Pham was over a zoom call after all tests were done by the tech. Doctor was very nice and friendly. I know some people are not comfortable with not having the doctor in the office. I felt that way at first. I guess this is the way healthcare in general is going to cut costs. I do not feel I got any less care by seeing the doctor through Zoom because all testing was done in the office. The tech did mention it has not been as busy since the office stopped taking state insurance. In some cases, same-day appointments are available now.

They did not have samples of my current contacts, so they had me try a new brand. The person who assisted me advised we'd order both and then choose which ones to keep once they come in, charging me the cheaper of the options. After a month or so and no contacts I called in and was advised they had been waiting on my decision on the contacts. May have been a misunderstanding as I had thought I was going to choose once both pairs come in. After they clarified needing my response I confirmed the pair I wanted and they advised they'd be delivered to my house in 1-2 weeks. After another 4 weeks and no contacts I call back and ask for a status. They again state they were waiting on my decision and there must have been a misunderstanding when I called last, but that they were putting the order in and it would arrive in 1-2 weeks. Here's to hoping they actually make it here! Staff is nice, but seems to be a lot of miscommunications.
