I have had an astigmatism my whole life. Ever since they switched to online docs my script has been off. They won't add the astigmatism to my contacts. I have told them I can't see clear at night and it's not as clear as glasses during the daytime even. The soonest you can see a doc here is December! The online docs rush you, it's annoying to not see correctly and pay so much for a visit and corrective lenses. I see why the reviews are so low. Will be looking for someone new this year, I already used my insurance at this place. This is my second time doing contacts here and I'd hoped the outcome would be different. Well they screwed up again. I have been having problems with this office since 2020 when they would cancel my appointment at the last minute - like literally as I was on the way over - and then not have openings for 6+ months. They did that three times before I went elsewhere. Figured I would give this office a chance again as they are close to home. Get to my appointment where I'm informed that it's a video appointment with the doctor - he won't actually see me he will just review the tests that the assistant performs and make a recommendation from that...???? WTAF??? AND I will have to get an additional test that the insurance company won't pay for so it will be that much more out of pocket. Now, this office has never been able to get my prescription right the first time when they ARE seeing me in person, I'm sure as hell for certain they won't get it right by looking at tests and giving it their best guess. And if I had been told this up front I would have had the opportunity to cancel rather than leaving work early. Absolutely crap service. Will never go there again. read more

not very helpful when u take a day off for an appointment and when u show up there is extra fees because the Doctor is not in but if the doctor was in I wouldn't have the extra fees for three years straight I've gotten a pair of glasses every year and every year it takes him 2 to 3 times to get my glasses right read more

This place really pulled through for our family in a pinch! My hubby went up last week to pick out some sports glasses for my son. It was challenging to have them ready on such short notice right before his basketball tournament but Chelsea assured us she would do the best she could to expedite the process. She really went above and beyond. Not only did Chelsea continuously communicate with the lab regarding the status but she communicated with us throughout as well, as if the urgency were her own. Extremely professional place - they care and it shows!! Bonus: my 11 year old son thinks these glasses are boss!! Now let's win this tournament!! read more

The doctor was very pleasant but the eye glasses are very over priced. I settled for the cheapest frames and was told with the cheap frames and lenses I would have to pay $183. above the $200. my insurance allows. To me that is outrageous. Ican go to America's Best and get 2 pairs plus the exam for $95...with the same bifocal lens. Why is there such a difference?? read more

What a traumatic experience! I just came from my appt today (Thursday) and the Doctor was very pushy and insensitive. He seemed like he was trying to get our appointment over with so he could go gome. I asked numerous questions about my visual health and the treatments, only to get very short and broad remarks. I even questioned if my glasses prescription would be correct because he went through the process so fast! Oh and then there was the glaucoma test! Eye curumba! I mean yes, I'm a girly girl AND pregnant so I'm super sensitive, but I lefr the room bawling like a baby! He didn't warn me what he was about to do or ensure I was comfortable AT ALL. I had no idea what was going on and I was really upset. By the end of it, he said "You've never had a glaucoma test before?". Really? I wanted to smack him! Don't get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE all the ladies that work up front. I had two helping me and they were knowledgable and sweet. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. One lady even helped with the price of my frames Its such a shame to have a great location with wonderful ladies up front and an insensitive doctor to ruin the facility. read more

My first clue was when I called to make an appointment and asked if the optometrist would treat blepharitis - a very common eye ailment - and the person who answered the phone had never heard of it and had to ask the doctor. I was given an appointment and was satisfied with my care, although the problem was not resolved and I was given a follow up appointment (and an appointment card). When I went for the follow up, the appointment was not in their computer. The waiting room was empty, but I wiound up waiting for over half an hour while two other patients came and went. Chesley there has been a very awesome person. I have been going there since last year and she has always helped me out very much. Told me what looked good and what didn't on me. She is a very sweet, kind person and has patience because I am not the easiest person to deal with espically when trying to find something that I will be wearing all the time, not to mention that they have to match almost everything I wear. She really did great though.. Kudo to her. I am glad she is there I don't like change and to know she is there and I can count on her is a very BIG relief to me. This place is the worst fucking place. The doctor has been late too two of my appointments and I was forced to reschedule both because he was over an hour late. I was five minutes late and he could not see me because they were super "busy".... I was the only individual in there. The lady could not get my name right when she asked if I wanted to reschedule. If you want a reliable place to go to, this is not the eye doctor you want to see. This place has been a nightmare and I will never go to another USA Optical again. read more

my family had used usa optical in the past and loved the service . Recently they switched to My eye Dr and everything has gone downhill. My daughter has worn contact lenses for a number of years but this years, billing , the experience were all very good but when she went in this time the customer service was very different. My insurances covers eye exams and either glasses ( every other year its lens only)or contact lenses. I work a check for the co pays on the contact lenses and the new lenses for the glasses. Well this time for the first time ever I was charged for her getting contact lens "instructions". I requested to speak with someone after receiving the $60 bill but the manager gave me a vague explanation and told me he would call me back with the billing department number. I was left a voice mail with no number to contact . I called the store the person who answered gave me a number which was the wrong number. The # was an 1 888 # which was for some odd sounding company ( made no sense). I called back to my eye Dr to reconfirm the # was still given the 1 888 # and told one of the following numbers were incorrect, called and it was the # for the communications manager for My eyedr. Called back again asked to speak with the manager who then gave me a 410 # and stated " I wish that the notes in the billing would make more sense". I proceeded to tell him that I found the whole situation of employees not knowing correct numbers and being billed for something which they didn't discuss ahead of time which I was never billed for in the past . the manager informed me that it was the insurance company who did this not them.........really ??? By the way the manager was rude and really had no idea what he was talking about . if we were never billed for this in the past and now this business took over the eye practice that was there they should of informed us ahead of time what services were covered and what was not covered. never returning to this business read more
