Another recent froyo opening in the Village, specializing in Greek yogurt which I love. They have a rotating menu of yogurt and sorbet options. I always love the tart Greek yogurt options which includes their matcha flavor. The watermelon sorbet is perfectly refreshing and not too icy . Every froyo place I've tried this year is a little different from each other and I love it all. Prices are expensive at all of them lol Prices plus tax: kid cup includes one topping $8.90, regular includes 2 toppings $10.90, large includes 3 toppings $12.90. The line is always long here... on a Wednesday around 7pm it was still over an hour wait. I've passed by many times and the line is always there. So, today I decided to wait and see what the hype was about. I waited 1.5 hours (Ridiculous, I know...). The shop is small and can only hold about 6-7 customers at a time. There is no restroom or seating area. With 4-5 employees behind the small counter and customers, it can feel tight inside. Before you enter, they have a QR code you may sign to see the toppings in advance. Sort of hard to decided before seeing them in person. Also, there is no clarity on pricing. Once I was inside I had to ask the price of each cup and each extra topping. They could post a clear sign on the wall when you enter to see this information clearly. I wasn't even sure what flavors of froyo they offer. I imagine it is a dilemma for many that may be coming here to try it for the first time and get confused on flavors and toppings all while feeling pressured to order quickly with the lines waiting outside. Since it was hard for me to choose, I just went with the original tart yogurt and asked about their popular toppings. Landed on the pistachio cream and baklava. It is an extra $1.25 for every topping added. So for the small yogurt and my two toppings I paid around $12-13? Pretty expensive. The yogurt is tart and the pistachio cream is what made it okay. Melts fast so snap photos quick! Yes, it's pretty and tastes ok, but wasn't worth the price or extremely long wait.
One of the new wave frozen yogurt spots taking the city by storm, Myka offers a minimalist flavor selection with premium ingredients in a tiny shop that appeals to a vaguely Mykonos aesthetic. The froyo itself is served in cups that appear to take their cue from the old Greek dinner coffee mugs of the 80s and 90s. We opted for the simplistic toppings of wildflower honey and dried figs. The honey was a good choice, the figs on the other hand somehow didn't add to the flavor profile the way I expected. I think the right move here may actually be maximalist toppings, such as the pistachio cream. The yogurt itself is nicely tart and is yogurt first, froyo second.

Overall it was yummy and refreshing and the place was clean. When we visited, it was orderly with a small line outside and two workers inside. The place itself doesn't have dine in so everything is a take away desert to go.
I happened to be walking by Myka right as they opened, and with no line out the door, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally try it. I'm so glad I did! The space is beautiful impeccably clean and modern. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in. I tried the classic in a small bowl with baklava crumble I stopped in on a whim, but I'll definitely be back. If you've been curious about Myka, go early and beat the crowds. It was the perfect way to start the day.
Pretty solid. The line can be quite bad (like 1 hr plus). Don't think it's worth that level of wait but their toppings are pretty good.

I went with the normal x matcha twist with chocolate chips and strawberries. The matcha was by far my favorite flavor! I would come back but might not wait more than 10-15 mins in line.

I tried a combo of the Natural and Piña Colada flavored Greek yogurt with Mykataifi and Berry Crumble toppings. The Mykataifi was a crispy pistachio paste that was really good and the Berry Crumble was perfectly tangy and crunchy. The Greek yogurt was very smooth as well and I can see why it's got so many raving reviews. Would I come back? Sure, as long as I don't have to wait more than 15 minutes. But that's only on very rare occasions and I know I got lucky when I went.
So good! Def think everyone should try myka at least once in their life!!! The line is however extremely long... I think I waited over 45mins, and the price is quite expensive. Myka has been the best/fav, creamiest greek yogurt I've ever had (but tbf i havent had that many in my life)! Def recommend the baklava and pistachio kataifi as the topping; baklava was nice and crunchy and the pistachio was like dubai chocolate. Staff were honestly so patient and friendly. Unfortunately the place is quite small, theres no seats inside so youll just order and walk with your frozen treat!
Visited here with no line, thankfully. If there's a line, I can confidently say this place is not worth the wait. I eat unflavored greek yogurt every day at home, and this isn't much different than that. There was hardly really a "frozen" consistency, which really missed the point of coming here. I hear a lot of people complain that the flavor of the original yogurt too bitter, but I like it that way because it shows that this is authentic greek yogurt without the extra ingredients that take out the bitterness. I got the dulce de leche (it's just caramel) and chocolate crumble toppings, but I wish I chose toppings that are nuttier or fruitier since it would complement the bitter greek yogurt more. Rookie mistake. A few toppings were out of stock and the flavor of the yogurt was nothing special, especially for the price, which explains my 3-star review.
This is sooo gooodddddd!!!! Greek yogurt but it is not too sour like the typical greek yogurt. And I absolutely love the stracciatella and pistachio cream topping. They are sweet so it helps balance out the yogurt. And they are also CRUNCHY! I know the line can get quite long, then it might not be worth it. But if it is like 15m wait, I'd do it. They limit the topping you can choose based on what size you order. I would love the option to be able to add more toppings.

By chance, it was a rainy day and there was no line when we were walking back to the hotel so I had to go right? So, there is no visible pricing on the sample cups and the flavors are tucked on a low spot in the right corner of the small store. Toppings are laid out behind a glass counter and spooned on by the associate. I went with the traditional Greek yogurt flavor with berry compote and baklava crumbles in a medium size. With a small tip, the total was over $13!!! It would be better with some of the toppings on the bottom, middle and top. No way was this worth that much money. Any good frozen yogurt shop has a tart flavor although it's not Greek yogurt to be fair. Am I glad I tried this? Meh? Worth the hype? Not in my opinion. The crew is fine, it's a job. Nothing stands out. No warmth at all. Busy location, lines can be very long, zero parking, next to the subway stop, no bathroom, no where to sit. I'd prefer ice cream next time.
Expect a line if you come here! As one of the new froyo spots in NYC, it is constantly popping. The inside of the shop is very small, with no seating. It is completely grab-and-go. Staff is also limited with everything being served and prepared by them, so it isn't as quick as some of your self-serve spots. I got their raspberry froyo with tart swirl and it was great. With their regular size, you get two free toppings--with no price between the different toppings (loved that). Great froyo, a bit pricy, but good portion.
Really loved the whole vibe.aesthetic and the flavors were pretty on point. I got the original and the guava sorbet. Would definitely recommend as it is refreshing. For toppings you get 2 for the medium. I got the pistachio creme and the berry crumble The berry was a nice crunch but honestly too sweet for me. The pistachio was delicious. They didn't have fresh fruit when I went but that would've been a nice touch. Overall the staff were nice -- only sad part is you're only allowed 1 sample and this was only mentioned after the first sample was had. read more
Such a popular spot right now, with locations all over the city. I had been meaning to try it all weekend and finally caved and waited in line for almost an hour on my last night in the city. And I was... disappointed. Honestly, I think it just tastes like the tart flavor at any froyo place. It's good, don't get me wrong! But I'm genuinely confused as to why the entire city is willing to wait in line for hours for this. Maybe I'm missing something, but I wouldn't do the wait again. read more

Decent froyo, but honestly not worth the long wait. I did enjoy the pistachio cream and pistachio bites, they paired really well with the frozen yogurt! Enjoy the overall ambiance and decor which make you feel like you've been transported right to Greece. read more

I came here with a friend on a holiday weekend. I love fro yo and heard about all the hype so we stopped by. We only waited 10 mins in line before we were allowed to enter and order. The reason there is always a line is because they only allow 4-5 customers in at a time. You can scan the QR code for the menu as you wait. I got the original with strawberries and chocolate crumble as my toppings ($11.89). It was good but I would wait for more than 15 minutes for it. read more
Having recently tried both Mimi's and Madison Fare's froyos, I cannot endorse Myka's as a superior product. Factor in the absolutely unjustifiable queue to even get in the door, and it's a hard no. Just to be clear, there's nothing wrong with it. If I didn't have to wait through the interminable line, I'd be willing to drop the dough for a cup of this stuff with the Dubai chocolate combination toppings. There are just way too many equally (or more) enjoyable frozen treats in the neighborhood to rationalize an hour wait here. read more

Love trying new sweet treats and this one was SO good! Like most "viral" places in New York, there is a line to order-- but I promise it is worth it! I ordered a kids size which comes with one topping. I sampled the passion fruit flavor and it was so good I kind of regretted not mixing flavors. The actual shop is very small, but you won't be in there for longer than a few minutes to order and check out. I can't wait to taste other flavors! read more

I think this place is worth the hype but you have to get the right toppings for your flavor palette! I came on a Saturday around 3:50pm and waited 1 hr from standing in line to getting my ice cream. They let you sample only once kind of ice cream flavor. I chose to stick with their original tart frozen yogurt and it didn't disappoint! Because I stood in line for an hour I justified getting the large which comes with 3 toppings. For my toppings I chose their: 1) Mykataifi (4/5): This is their viral one, which is pistachio butter and kataifi mixed together. It was very nutty, pistachio flavored packed and had nice crunch from the kataifi. 2) Nocciola (5/5): This is their Nutella with kataifi mixed together and I LOVED this one even better! It tastes exactly like a Ferrero Rocher but even better with the Nutella flavor. This mixed so well with the frozen Greek yogurt which was tangy and light. I honestly would get this over the Mykataifi if I were to come again! 3) Berry Crumbles (6/5!!!!): This topping absolutely sold me on it was worth standing in line for 1 hr for this. It's berry flavored type "granola crisp" that has the best texture crunch to it. It's sugary, fruity taste paired so well with the Greek yogurt and it tasted very fresh. Would I do it again? Heck yeah so I can try the other toppings such as their figs and cherries topping that looked so fresh. Not every frozen yogurt store has these toppings and since I got the large size the worker was very generous with my toppings. I'll be back for that berry crumble and Nocciola combo, you must try!! read more

Well another frozen yogurt place has opened up in NYC! This is a very small one with no seating inside or outside. When you walk into this store you feel transported to Greece. How the store interior looks and the color scheme. I highly suggest going early like right when they open to avoid long lines. As we were in line one of the workers there told us that between 12( when they open-5pm) the line is not as long. But after 5ish that is when the line becomes long. I got the large size which you get three toppings with that size. I got the regular flavor yogurt with toppings of : Honey, chocolate chips and strawberries. I told them about my nut allergy and so they got the toppings from the back as there are nuts present in the topping area in front. I am grateful they did this. The frozen yogurt with my toppings tasted very good and was refreshing to have on such a warm day. The strawberries did not taste fake and they did not taste like too sweet like they do at some fro yo spots. I highly recommend checking this spot out. read more
Wow I see the hype for this place now! The yogurt is sooooo good and refreshing with the right balance of tart and sweet! I love all of the unique toppings too. I got the pistachio spread, nocciola, and berry crumble which was great with the goji berries. The line can get long but it goes by pretty fast. I went on a Friday afternoon so maybe the line is worse on weekends. I also tried the matcha yogurt which was just as good! I would come back to try the other seasonal flavors. There isn't any seating inside but there are some benches outside. read more
Is it good? Yeah. Is it wait 30 minutes good? Mmmmaybe not. Line moves steadily but I can't say it was anything worth waiting for. Maybe if you're a big Greek froyo person it would be worth it, but to the layman I don't think it's a must try. Nevertheless I'm glad I tried it and it was a solid 4/5. Interior can comfortably fit 5 or 6 people but folks try to squeeze in there and eat anyways. Staff was okay. Overall decent but wouldn't go through the trouble again. read more
We were in the neighborhood and decided to walk by to see if it was busy or not. There was only a short line on a weekday afternoon, so we decided to wait and the line moved quickly. The inside is small but decorated aesthetically. I got the regular froyo with pistachio and strawberries. The pistachio was great, and the froyo and strawberries were good. The service was only okay. I would only come back if there is a short line. read more
tried myka for the first time (during the weekday without a crazy line). I ordered the swirl with the classic froyo and citrus sorbet, with pistachio topping and the hazelnut topping. The actual froyo felt pretty standard in my opinion, and less fatty and creamy than a few others I have tried. However, I was really pleasantly surprised with how natural and delicious the sorbet was - highly recommend the swirl! read more
Definitely a trendy spot, expect a line constantly. When we went the wait was only about 20-30 min (if you're standing by pizza spot). If you're standing down at the block on the street you can expect wait to be closer to an hour. That said, I thought it was worth the wait for 30 ish minutes. The Greek yogurt was fresh and tangy and they had great assortment of toppings like pistachio, wildflower honey, berry crumble. The yogurt flavors they had available was plain, açaí and mango. You can swirl plain with the açaí or mango. Overall would definitely come back but I looove froyo and I probably wouldn't wait longer than 45 min ish. read more

So good that we came here twice in the same day! We were looking for a frozen yogurt place nearby and were craving original tart. We heard good things about Myka and were willing to wait in line. At around 3pm, we waited about 30-35 mins. We got the original Greek yogurt with their pistachio jam and baklava and wow it was definitely worth the wait. The tart flavor was strong and paired well with the toppings! We went about our day and wanted to come back for dessert after dinner. The line was out on the street, curved into the neighborhood. My friends and I waited an hour for it because we loved it that much! The shop itself is small and cramped so only a few people could go in at once. The line was slow because they offered one sample per person. I think they should have had someone out in line handing out samples for the waiting customers to make the line go faster. Plenty of variety in toppings but the pistachio jam is the best. read more

As a girl who grew up in Queens, it was almost an every day after school ritual to go and get froyo. So I'm not sure why Manhattan has this frozen yogurt, obsession and almost epidemic because every frozen Yogurt spot now has absurd lines almost around the block and of course they're gonna make you want to try - and I indeed I fell for it. What got me is the authentic Greek toppings, the katayifi was pretty good and it's a non guilty way to have a sweet treat. Is it worth the wait? I'm not sure but definitely try it once in your life to see for yourself. read more
This froyo was incredible. Exactly what I wanted on a hot day, it's perfectly tart and creamy. I could eat a dangerous amount. My only gripe is the operations. The line out the door is somewhat manufactured, if they made tweaks to their process it'd go much quicker. Luckily when I went I only waited ~20 minutes. Tip for those waiting in line - there are QR code menus along the rope and very few options, please utilize the time you're waiting in line and have your decision ready when you're at the counter. read more
I'm old enough to remember the first time that frozen yogurt was popular. In fact, I don't think I've said the word "froyo" in about 20 years. I don't understand this generation's fascination with waiting on lines for things. But alas, my wife wanted froyo last night and so we also waited on line for it. It sucked. It was cold and late and we waited an entire hour for...froyo. That said, the line was orderly and the girl controlling the traffic was very friendly. This also is admittedly not the same Pinkberry froyo of my youth. You're not throwing on M&M's and mochi onto this and weighing by the pound. The ingredients are high end and the folks building your dessert are attentive. My wife went with the classic and I went with the mango sorbet. Both were quite delicious. Was it worth an hour of waiting on line? Hell no. The people in front of us on line said it was their second day in a row, they need to seriously get themselves checked out. No froyo is worth waiting an hour for. Maybe check this out when the hype dies down. read more
Stopped by when I saw there was no line. I tried their watermelon sorbet. It was very refreshing and needed on a hot day. Not over powering sweet. I enjoyed it. I wouldn't stand on line for this though. Inside had no seating so you can go sit by the small park nearby. Throw out your trash. read more
The hype is real because this place is so good. Yes there is a line, but it moves relatively quickly. The staff were super nice and let us take our time picking out flavors and toppings. Their seasonal at this time was lavender açaí and it was amazing. I would definitely come back! read more
Absolutely amazing. I got the Myka special and they recommended the Dubai chocolate and the choco crumble and both slapped so hard I think from the 1 hour wait I definitely fell in love. Very cute little shop and I pass by it in the city on my car rides and it's still got a line at 12am. It's a little overhyped for me, though I am not a huge frozen yogurt type of person. We got the original tart with 2 toppings (mykataifi and baklava). I actually really enjoyed the toppings. Long line, small place with friendly staff. Frozen yogurt isn't my thing but this was delish. The pistachio is the way to go for me! read more
My husband wanted to give this a try because he saw it all over instagram. We are not from here, so when in Rome. I do not like frozen yogurt, but this made me like it! It completely lives up to the hype. They were very helpful guiding us through the menu. I panicked and just ordered the special and I could see why it was the special! The flavor combinations made me feel like I was eating dessert in the middle of Greece. It also did not try to be ice cream like most frozen yogurts. Generous with their topping at least for me! Great spot for an afternoon or evening snack after lunch or dinner. Tarty flavor mixed with their sweet toppings gives it a perfect balance if you're into that taste profile! There is usually a long wait in the evening so I would opt for it to be an afternoon snack unless you're willing to do the 30+ min wait.
