Food and services are great. In my last order, I just received the incorrect salad dressing. It was still delicious, I just used my own dressing I have at home. If I didn't live on the opposite side of town, I would have gone back to get the correct dressing. Next time, I will double-check before leaving. Regardless, I still gave 5's because that's how great the food and services are. I've never had anything that I didn't like from here, and this is the first time I've received something incorrect. Come here for the private outside patio, stay for the clam pizza. My drinks were pretty weak, service could have been faster and the Greek salad I ordered before I caved and went for the pizza wasn't awesome (no grape leaves?!) But, overall, this is a cute place with sunny outside seating, friendly service, and the pizza is really f*cking good. read more

Ok I'll be honest I only have been here once and I went because my friend recommended their Greek salad. Let me just say IT WAS SO GOOD. It comes with different portion sizes. I ordered the "for 4" for take out. Pick up was super easy. I got grilled chicken added to it and I love how they packed it separate from the salad. I also asked for the salad already mixed with dressing. There was a generous portion of feta, salad, chicken and etc. I know I'm only giving 5 stars because a salad but hey I'm giving credit where credit is due. The owners of Mykonos are keeping the security deposit of the Religious store next to them that they have rented out for three years.They also charged them for 3 years of garbage removal when these people never put a napkin in their dumpster. It is unfair and unjust. These tenants are WONDERFUL people, and are suffering because of this swindle perpetuated by the Mykonos owners. They were never a minute late with their rent, and referred to as the "Best tenants they ever had. " A group of my friend and I went to Mykonos every Saturday nite. We will no longer eat there. Ever. These tenants are my friends and I urge you to boycott Mykonos, now that you know how they operate their business. read more

Me and my husband come here a few times a year and never had an issue. We love the food and they give you very large portions. Also, they have a large menu so there is something for everyone. Our favorites are the Greek salad, gyros, chicken parm, mozzarella sticks and calamari. And the service is always amazing! read more

If I could give this a negative review I would. Food is completely sub par. I've never sent a plate back before, any where, but, we had to send two back at once. We were still willing to give it another shot, maybe just salads and falafel, which was bad but edible, until the owner came out and was confrontational. I guess he was trying to defend the food but this was honestly the closest thing to a mockery I have ever experienced. We were willing to pay for everything that was served but they comped the bill. I've been coming here on a fairly regular basis for several years...usually for Greek salad and pizza and it had always been quite good. It is a nice clean place with friendly service. But lately, they have been 'overcooking' the pizza so they are somewhat burnt on the edges and bottom and the cheese is turning dark brown. I guess I'll have to remember to tell them not to do that, but one shouldn't have to instruct a place how to properly cook the food. If it happens again, I'm done with Mykonos. read more

2 Stars because the waitress was very sweet. The food was just not good. I ordered fried Calamari, it was under fried, and came in huge chunks, the dough wasn't seasoned, it was very bland. My wife ordered hummus, it didn't taste like hummus. We ended up eating our friends French fries mostly. Won't return. read more

Very clean and service was good. Daughter had BLT and loved it-plenty of bacon. BUT My son and I had a very different experience. We ordered small pizza and fries. Pizza is terrible here- seriously stick to Greek food. They are not serving hand tossed pies. It is Pizza Hut type dough (only worse) pressed into a tin. You know when a 10 year old boy won't eat pizza there is something amiss. Also, the oil used for fries needed to be changed, so they were dark and bitter. The kicker was they charge 3.50 for a kids chocolate milk (EACH 10 oz glass of chocolate milk). Lunch with a crappy small pizza (threw away most of it), beverages, and sandwich...$33.00 (three drinks was highest price on check). We all ended up with stomach aches from the dirty oil fries. I've been coming here for somewhere around 9 years and I'm shocked how low these reviews are! This is one of my and my parents' favorite restaurants back home in CT and I try to come here whenever I'm home for holidays. My go to is always the chicken souvlaki pita (with extra tzatziki, I love theirs!) and the fresh mozzarella appetizer. For starters a table that came in almost 15 minutes after us was served their food first. I ordered a Gyro sandwich and my husband (who is Greek) ordered a Souvlaki Sandwich and we split fries. The white sauce looked curdled, the meat was chewy, no tomatoes and they put in big strips of red onion instead of thinly sliced white onion. The fries were not seasoned when they were taken out of the fryer and no matter how much salt we put on could salvage them. ROAD TRIP down to Queens to get delicious Greek food!! read more

It's a shame I have to give this place only two stars. I was born and raised in Danbury and this place has been open for as long as I can remember. I almost always order a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a Greek salad, so good, but the service has always been just ok. It honestly never really bothered me because I mostly ordered take out (usually around lunch time) or if I was eating in I just excused the service for the relaxed environment. Tonight was different... it was my husband, my two kids and myself having a late dinner and everything started off normal, the waitress took our drink order and then came back for our food order. It was around 8:15pm when we arrived and we pretty much ordered right away. Our food didn't come out until 9pm, including the salad, and the waitress never checked on us. She served everything at once, I had to remind her about the salad, she forgot salad tongs/plates and she forgot a spatula for the pizza. We were obviously annoyed about our experience so far, not to mention we caught her on her phone while we were waiting for our food, but we were still patient and enjoyed our meal. When we were ready for the check we asked that she wrap some of our food up, she took the salad and reached for the pizza tray, the tray tipped over and the pizza almost fell right on top of my 3yr old! Thank god my husband caught it! She had absolutely no reaction... and she didn't apologize! So disappointing... I originally thought I would have given them three stars until that incident but they probably really only deserve one star. read more

It makes me laugh that this place has "award winning" pizza. First off, the prices. My mom and I split a medium veggie pizza that was almost $16. When we got it home, the thing was tiny. The crust was thick, not at all chewy, and kind of hard. The toppings didn't taste particularly fresh - the kind of thing you might expect at a diner. For the money, I was expecting better. This place used to have amazing Greek food. I'm sad to say it's awful now. The spanakopita and greek salad tasted overwhelmingly of dried basil. The chicken souvlaki was like slabs of rubber on a pita topped with terrible tzatziki that was just pureed cucumber with a bit of yogurt in it. I couldn't eat the chicken. The waitress was nice and got me something else. But now I feel very sick to my stomach. Never going back. read more

There is absolutely no reason to eat here. There are no Greek dishes on the lunch menu. Gyro platter with fries and a salad came to $19 with a club soda. The Greek salad had no olives or feta. The gyro was rather dry and flavorless. Lots of fries, though. The finishing touch was the small dark piece of hair that I found on the wedge of feta that came on the gyro plate. read more

Surprised by the reviews here, I have to add how great Mykonos is! I've been coming here literally my entire life and have never been disappointed. The Greek salad is without a doubt the best salad I've ever had. I'm Arabic so I like trying the Greek versions of similar foods, like their falafel and baklava. Always good! My family usually gets pizza and gyros, they love it. The soups are great too! The owners are always friendly and the waitress Elizabeth is the sweetest! Still a fan after another trip here. Went as a family the day after Christmas and service was better but still just the one waitress on duty. Will have to come outside of a holiday to see if she ever gets help. Anyway, as before, food was very tasty, portions big enough to satisfy even the high school Junior and price about what I expected. Love this place! My husband and I use to dr roast this place all the time and wonder how it was but there was never any cars in the parking lot, so we did not want to be the only ones in there. Stellar performance on 5/15/18! Power was knocked out in Danbury, and they were one of few places open for business. It's impossible to overstate how bad this restaurant is. This is the type of place for Gordon Ramsey of Kitchen Nightmares. I was cautious: any restaurant that calls itself 'Greek-Italian-American' is going to be good at none of those cuisines. This is essentially a diner, so I wasn't expecting much. But diners should be able to deliver food at a certain level of quality. So I ordered a "special" on the blackboard. I mean, if they're telling you "this is what we're making a lot of, this is what we are proud of", can it really be terrible? Yes. Yes, it can. So, I ordered the falafel. Was the worst falafel I've ever had. I really don't know what I was eating. It was soaked in oil. It didn't resemble any falafel I've ever consumed. The appetizer, calimari, was terrible: rubbery, chewy. Another friend had the lamb souvlaki, and guess what: terrible, fatty, regrettable. I just couldn't understand how they could look at the food they were about to serve to us and go ahead and serve it. This stuff was almost inedible. And I didn't even think of sending the food back. When it's this bad, where do you start? The only thing you can do is politely leave, with as little discussion as possible. read more

When you opened up the sandwich and got through the three heads of shredded lettuce they buffered the roll with...at the bottom covered in a thick layer of yellowed mayonnaise was some thin strips of moldy old roast beef that looked like the walking dead! Mmm mmm! My $7.95 Greek salad which was the same size as the side salad that comes with your lunch entree came complete with wet, wilted lettuce and mushy tomatoes! Call them to complain you say? Awful. Never again. Went here for a quick bite to eat while my car was being serviced nearby. I ordered a Chicken Parm grinder. When I opened the grinder to see where the chicken was, I found a small piece of flattened chicken. The size of the chicken piece was about the size of three fingers and a centimeter thick. I never knew that you could pound chicken that flat ! It was loaded with burnt tomato sauce and overloaded with melted cheese. So much cheese, so much bread, so much sauce...but barely any chicken at all and &.$7.75 !! Me thinks I will never go back here again and you shouldn't either. This place is bad news. read more

Their food sucks!!!! I ordered out for dinner, and when I went to pick it up I was expecting to see a lively restaurant. But it was dead. What kind of restaurant is dead for dinner hour? On top of that, I gave them a 50 dollar bill to break for a 35 dollar take out means and they had to go and get the manager and he had to go to the back and into the safe. Ate here for the 3rd time tonight (over the course of 3+ yrs, as we're visiting from out of town) and wasn't one bit disappointed. Gyro & greek salad was excellent. We arrive toward closing time, so it wasn't crowded and the waitstaff was very patient with us as we chatted, even though they were probably ready to close up. My wife picked up gyros for her, my brother, and I. They were absolutely terrible. The meat had a great flavor, and vegetables were fresh. However, the pita was dry and cracked apart around the edges. The worst part about it, however, was their 'garlic cucumber' sauce was the most disgusting thing ever. I am pretty sure it was not a sauce, but just plain minced garlic. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge garlic fan, but not to a point to where I want to eat something that is just plain garlic. I was looking for a Greek restaurant with my date tonight, And we found Mykonos pizza restaurant where we had the greatest experience!!! We had Mykonos combo dinner and it was delicious.
