HE THREATENED MY LIFE AND IS A WHITE SUPREMIST!!!! I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience. I scheduled service with this company and was rescheduled twice. The first cancellation came with an excuse about equipment issues, but based on how everything unfolded, it felt more like they had overbooked and didn't want to admit it. The repeated delays wasted my time and completely disrupted my schedule. What concerned me even more was the pricing and package confusion. I purchased a premium package that clearly advertised exterior washing as included. When I referenced their own website, I was told there were additional add-ons required that were not disclosed upfront. After I pointed out what was advertised, they reluctantly agreed to honor it. In my opinion, that's misleading marketing. Be very careful and make sure you get everything in writing before paying because the pricing seems to change once you're already committed. I was also repeatedly offered upgrades that were supposedly "free," even though those services were already included in the package I had purchased. Throughout the process, there was poor communication. Calls went unanswered, and I was only able to communicate through text messages. When I was told someone would get back to me, they didn't. My second appointment was ultimately canceled as well. To make matters worse, the owner later tried to claim I was interested in services I never requested. Fortunately, our text messages clearly show that I only inquired about detailing services and never requested the additional work he suggested. As a fellow military member, I expected honesty, accountability, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I can't speak to the quality of their actual work because we never even got that far. What I can speak to is the poor communication, scheduling issues, and misleading package descriptions that wasted my time. Thankfully, I ended up going with Zebra Detailing instead. They were responsive, efficient, answered their phone calls, showed up when promised, and completed the work without any games or surprise charges. This guy botched my car and then lectured me about it. Condescending, belittling, and worst of all inept at his selected craft. Here's how it went. Sunday July 26th I gouged my bumper a little tossing something into my trunk. Minor damage, easy mobile paint touch-up. Then I stumbled across John at Mynt Mobile Detailing. $535, booked for Wednesday at 11am. He talks a big game on text: "We do a professional job with professional products. No rattle cans or cheap paint/clear coat." Cool. (There were rattle cans present, by the way. Just an observation.) Shows up 12-12:30 instead of 11. Spends roughly five hours, his number, not mine, over-sanding a small scratch on a Black Sapphire Metallic BMW bumper until the panel is no longer a flat surface. Visible divot. The paint on top is orange-peeled and uneven. Then he tries to collect the full amount before walking me through the finished work, which, fun fact, violates his own contract, which promises the customer "fully and thoroughly inspects the vehicle" before payment. I caught it because I actually looked at my own car. Speaking of that contract: it warrants all services will be performed in a "professional and workmanlike manner." It also states, in bold underline, that the business "does not guarantee visual results." For paint repair. A service whose entire deliverable is visual. Take a moment with that one. I've since had the bumper evaluated by an actual body shop. Fixing what John did will run about $1,000 to respray the entire bumper. The original scratch, done right the first time, would've been $200-$300. So the net effect of hiring John: a $200-$300 problem became a $1,000 problem, with a $535 processing fee. He roughly tripled my repair cost and my car looks worse. That's a SICK business model. When I pointed out the panel was sanded low, the response wasn't "let me make it right." It was: "It's not oversanded at all. In fact, your car was one of the lightest and easiest sandings I have ever done." He didn't do the sanding, his assistant did. So he's confidently defending work he didn't perform. Bold. "It'll be botched if it needs to be buffed and you don't let me." So his work only looks acceptable if he's allowed to keep touching it. Noted. "You have to let the paper harden up... check the finish at 7:30." Ah yes, the well-documented phenomenon of an oversanded, orange-peeled panel healing itself over the course of an afternoon. "I think your rage got the best of you." I sent one "uhuh" and a "no thanks." If that's rage, he must be exhausting to be married to. "Perception doesn't mean much when you know yourself." Translation: my two eyes and the ruined panel don't count, because he knows he's great. "We handle SEMA every year, as well as Brunswick, John Deer, Conexpo, Maverick Helicopters, and Formula 1." Congrats. My bumper is still ruined. After I told him I'd take it to a real shop, he sent me photos of other cars he was mid-job on, captioned "Literally been on this since I left your place. Another horrible job", meaning the previous shop's work. Buddy. Those photos look exactly as rough as mine. You are showing me your portfolio, and it is not the flex you think it is. Then: "I can send you 1000 pics that will explain you're wrong." I'll take his word for the count. Bottom line: Turned a $200-$300 repair into a $1,000 repair, and charged me $535 for the privilege. Tried to collect payment before the walkthrough his own contract requires. When called out: lectures and deflection. Not once did he say "I could have done better." His contract doesn't guarantee visual results on a paint job. In fairness, that's the one promise he kept. Taking mine to an actual body shop. One star. read more

The results? Completely unacceptable. There were visible glue residues, poop stains still on the car, and overall poor quality work -- even after I specifically asked for those issues to be addressed. The paint correction looked untouched, and nothing resembled what they advertise in their marketing photos. The owner, John, acknowledged the poor quality, apologized, and said he would "make it right." He even mentioned injuring his back to gain sympathy. But after that, his professionalism completely vanished. He gave me a vague time window to return and fix the job, then became a no-show. No follow-up, no communication. I had to reach out multiple times just to get a response -- only for him to text me hours later asking if he could come "now." By that point, I had lost all confidence. I was patient and fair, but Mynt Mobile Detailing showed zero accountability. I paid for premium service and got bottom-barrel results. They overpromise and underdeliver -- and once they have your money, they don't care. I went househunting in a community complex. I saw someone from this company washing, cleaning, and detailing a car in front of one of the townhouses. I took a picture of the company's truck doing the work, for I knew as soon as I bought the nearby townhouse (which I did), I would get my son's and my car detailed. When the man told me the price, I couldn't believe it! I am an elder and no longer drive in this crazy Las Vegas traffic, so my son is my chauffeur everywhere. I forgot that it was Easter on Sunday and thought I might need to reschedule if they didn't come. But they did come and did an amazing job on our 2023 Hyundai Elantra. Their work is really phenomenal. The car looks like new, and the wheels alone made every penny worth it. The cost was $80. We recently moved to Las Vegas and are thrilled to find a company that provides excellent service at a very reasonable price. I forgot to take a picture of our car, and my son is off to work, so no picture of our beautiful car. But I was glad I had taken a picture of the company's truck, so I can use them again and again. It was the most disappointing and completely unacceptable work we have ever seen! We called him because he advertised that he could repair a few scratches on the hatchback of our car. He said it would take maybe 4 hours, but ended up taking 4 DAYS until he gave up and left the car looking far worse than when he started. Meanwhile we had to rent a car for 4 days and he kept our deposit. After the first day, it became clear he didn't know what he was doing, even as he kept insisting he had everything under control. Once he gave up, we found another mobile painter (Spray Works) who was able to remove the messed-up paint job and complete a beautiful paint finish in just 2 hours!! Please be advised that John Martin, Ivan and Mynt Mobile Detailing are waiting to scam you out of your money. I'm sure some of you have had some decent experience with a basic detail job but I implore you to find another business to support as there are many other options that will not be as risky as dealing with Mynt/John Martin. I dropped my car off on Friday April 4th, 2025 for polishing, cleaning and scratch removal and touch up as well as some paint repair on all four wheels and the rear hatch of my vehicle. I paid a $250 deposit and the work was contracted for a total of $3200. After some updates I was told it was ready on Sunday April 13th, 2025, but I was unable to get it that evening so I told John I would pick it up the next day. On the next day apparently more time was needed (despite already being told it was complete) and this went on until Friday April 18th, 2025 (exactly two weeks from drop off) when I demanded the card be returned as I was concerned that John and Ivan were not being honest. My fears were correct as I picked it up with blue painters tape on an area that had just been painted the day before and was told by Ivan not to take the tape off until 4pm. John and Ivan had been deceiving me the whole time and I was required to pay the balance to get my keys back (I should have contacted the Police). Upon inspection I noticed that all four wheels had been 'repaired' and painted with dull paint that does not match the gloss of the rest of the wheels, the rear hatch was very poorly painted with what appears to be non-matching paint (no metal flake, incorrect color appearance) and had over spray above the painted area that had been poorly wiped and dried on the areas with good condition paint. Other areas were touched up with the non-matching paint as well. Additionally, the interior detail job is mediocre at best and there is no evidence of ceramic coating work on the paint (makes sense as the paint was not complete so it was likely not applied). I took the car to a very reputable family-owned body shop for assessment, and they have estimated the damage and rework done by John and Ivan at over $6,800. Please be advised, these are not good and honest people. If you are supporting this business you are supporting deceptive people and there are a lot of other good options so just pick one. Other things I have learned about John since this incident: - He used MY car to blockade another customer vehicle from someone who had a similar issue and who had to contact the police. After 12 years and logging in 186,000 miles on my old FX35, I finally broke down and bought a new car. Cash, like the last time - ironically right after the last market crash that sent me and all of my colleagues in the loan origination business reeling. Naturally, having bought Infiniti's highest end model, I also wanted to avoid having the paint fade over time as with my last car. So I also popped for a PPF treatment (also called Clear Bra) on the front and both sides (review currently pending). What was important to me was someone who knew how to wash a PPF treated car. With the recent rain and a 1,000 mile road trip to the Central Coast, I needed a wash. Last minute decision (wasn't sure if it was going to rain again) on the company, but I'm glad I trusted my instincts. I reached out to Jon and he texted me back right away. I read the reviews and still came away with the feeling to give this guy a chance. Unfortunately, in this social media influencer society, I have to really read between the lines and really dig to learn if it's a legitimate gripe or not. Jon came away sincere and if somewhat brash, honest. Let's say that I'm happy that the benefit of the doubt was a good one. John is a scammer. I have been a Yelper for years now and hardly ever leave a one-star review, but I feel obligated to warn others about this person and his terrible way of conducting business. He plays off as a friendly veteran that promises excellent and prompt service. It's very unsettling to know people conduct business this way. Let me explain. Shortly after we paid his subscription fees, it became immediately difficult to get a hold of him. He serviced the car TWICE. He never came back to fulfill the services we hired him for. I work from home and am always available by phone, text, or doorbell. John claims he came over once but left shortly after because no one was outside to greet him. I highly doubt he even came over. If he did, is it too much to ask that you call, text, or knock/ring the doorbell that you arrived? I am 99% sure he lied to my face about ever showing up, which made me question his integrity. That was strike one. He went on to illegitimately charged our credit card multiple times, stacking up to $1600 in services he never provided. I repeat, $1600. I have the screenshots to prove it. He said there was an error with the POS and it will be corrected right away. We trusted his word. He failed to get back to us, and now our bank will not return the money because it was past 70 days. We wanted to give John the benefit of the doubt because he seemed like a great guy. Upon reading the reviews here and on Google, it's clear that this is nothing new. That was strike two. When we discovered he had charged our credit card multiple times, he stopped answering our texts and phone calls. We have proof of the conversation and sharing the screenshots all over Yelp, Google, and social media to let people know what type of scam business he is running. We are pursuing legal action. This can be easily resolved, but John refuses to fix the issue. After dozens of text messages, he finally responded by saying, "I think you have the wrong phone number lol". Unbelievable. Extremely unprofessional. Strike three. There are plenty of other mobile, honest options here in town. I am now using another mobile company for a fraction of the price that is 10x better than John's fraudulent Mynt Mobile Detailing sham. Do not give this man your credit card information. First things first, John is a good dude and super responsive! Got back to me very fast when I had a question and they even got here early to clean my car. They also did a great job with my interior, looked basically brand new! Wish they would have an option with only that. Now onto why this is 2 stars when I've only said positive things. The exterior was lacking. The overall body looked pretty nice although there were spots where they seemingly were just kinda rushing and didn't clean. I paid for the PREMIUM package which cost me 180$ w/o tip. That came with cleaning and waxing my bed. It looks like they didn't even bother to really even clean it, just looks like they hosed it down. I shouldn't have to go back and clean up stuff myself after paying 180$. Also in the package it says they'll hand wax my truck body and bed, I don't know, I'm not really sure they did either, as they spent only about an hour on the car. Also I shouldn't have to clean after them on my property, they left a huge leftover mess on my property that I had to broom and hose down to clean. I know the mess happened because of what was cleaned on my truck but that is no excuse for them to not pick up after themselves especially when they have all the equipment there. To add insult into injury they even cleaned their own car outside my house before cleaning the mess they left on the street. Overall, a decent cleaning but very overpriced considering they only spent a little over an hour at most on the car and I don't feel like I even got all the things the package came with. Fraud *ALERT* BUYER BEWARE* Unfortunately I cannot speak on the quality of their services because I did not get the opportunity to make it to that point. I booked an appointment to get my SUV detailed before I was due to move to Texas. I booked my appointment for a Monday. I originally opted to pay for my appointment at the time of the appointment. Someone from Mynt contacted me prior because they tried to pre authorize my card and it was declined. This should have been the first red flag because when they tried to pre authorize my card it showed they were trying to charge for the full amount of the service. Not thinking anything of it I paid for the service in full. They later reached out to tell me they would need to reschedule due to van troubles I was very understanding and just asked they keep me updated. The time for my appointment comes and they had not shown. I contacted them and they let me know they changed the appointment again. I was frustrated at this point because I had been waiting and did not have the time to wait any longer I had other things to do. Initially when I canceled they were understanding even offering services on the house. When I asked about my money being refunded they changed tune and the "employee" argued with me. Telling me I wasn't going to be getting a refund. After going back and forth I was contacted by the "owner" and told I'd be receiving a refund. I followed up on the refund around 3 weeks later to be told it was already processed to my bank however after contacting my bank i was told no refund was even initiated. Looking at the yelp reviews im not the only person they have stolen money from. *if you are doing good business you won't have to leave disclaimers on the multiple yelp reviews people are leaving complaining about you stealing money. I plan to follow through with trying to get my money refunded as well as filing complaints with all the necessary people. I've already filed with the BBB and the FTC. I will also be pursing further legal action because I work to hard to be scammed out of my money especially when I purposely try and support small businesses over large corporations. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: They were running late from their previous job, and kept open communication with their updates. They made sure to give me a chance to look over my truck after to make sure I was satisfied. I will be using them again. Edit** : after further inspecting my truck. The services that were provided were above average but not great. I paid extra for pet hair removal however, I still was finding pet hair in the carpet and behind the seats. On the inside passenger side of the windshield there are streaks left behind. I was planning on pointing this out to them when I got my next service but trying to schedule with them has been difficult. I was in communication with my detailer to get a new appointment scheduled and everything was going as smoothly as possible. The day I was scheduled there was a morning thunder storm that pushed all of his appointments back 2 hours, understandable. He was still good about responding to my questions. About half an hour after our updated scheduled time I am no longer able to get a hold of him. The dispatcher then tells me his phone is no longer working and he'll reach out to me when he get back to the shop. That never happens. I keep going back and forth with the dispatcher schedules me for 1 the next day. At 1:50 the dispatcher finally tells me the detailer is 35 mins away. I tell him that will not work and they proceed to schedule me for 6 PM that evening. Again, no show and this time no contact or response to me contacting them. I found Mynt detailing online and proceeded to book a detail for my Jeep. Upon scheduling, I spoke with someone who promptly responded - I booked a next day appointment at 1:30pm. A few hours before my appointment I received a call letting me know that they had a pressure washer getting fixed, and asked to delay the appointment. I thanked him for the update and was open to rescheduling for later. He later text me that he could reschedule to 3:30pm - I accepted. At 3:38pm he text me he was here. Within in 4 minutes I gave him the gate code (again - I had already given instructions to enter via phone) Then it got weird - I text back multiple times and didn't receive a response, drove to the front and didn't see anyone, and when I called the operator said the number no longer could be reached. I thought I was going crazy - I had my sister call the number and it rang and went to voicemail like regular. I was completely thrown off by how a great initial interaction and what seemed to be good service ended up in a flaked appointment and not answering my calls, possibly even blocking me?? Before assuming anything, I gave it a few days just to see if something bizarre happened but I got no response other then an auto generated "your appointment was canceled" two days after the appointment time had passed. Either way, the unwarranted bad treatment as a customer made me want to warn everyone of my experience. It wasn't FILTHY, but starting to get to the point where I was getting embarrassed to drive my friends around. (Think french fries under the seats and Red Rock dust everywhere). After doing some research, decided to give Mynt a try. Made an appointment online late at night. By morning, saw appointment was approved. Texted to confirm some details and Josh responded right away, answering every question I had. Morning of appointment comes and they show up, assess the effort, and we agreed on an appropriate cleaning package for what I wanted to get done. I handed them my keys and went back to my apartment. Less than an hour and a half later, i get a text letting me know they were done. I took a look and it was GORGEOUS. Car was as clean as the day I rolled it off the lot. Opted for the Advanced detailing on my 2015 Honda Accord and the work done had my vehicle looking brand new. The leather interior was conditioned and treated to look and smell brand new again also. Hey John appointment was the saturday before thanksgiving it was scheduled nov.4th I tried calling a few times and got no response as well. I was able to get my 3 cars done with someone else. Weird on the system glitch when I had gotten a confirmation and a deposit was still taken. Wish you nothing but the best but will be using another detailing service going forward. read more

I did really gave it a go. He was really nice but nice will be a No go since i didn't get what I needed get done. I wanted to get my car buffed and touched up on scratches but rather i only got a paint touch like sort of a nail polish kind and t'was rough on the edges on my Benz . Then i also ask for a car wash which I thought i got A really good ($100) deal but a car wash in a gas station was much better this wash left even more scratches on my car hood and I don't know how they did that . For a small touch up on a few scratches and a car wash for 550 bucks . Nahhhh! I was not going for the reviews because i wanted to give it a chance. Good luck 'yo. He even told me okay I'll get it done even apologized and the day we had an appointment he cancelled and told me that something is going at the building garage. They were late the first time, rearranged our time without confirming if it would be okay with us. The work was not quite up to par so they gv us a half price discount for our next appt. On the next appt, they (again) rearranged our time without confirming if our schedules could accommodate (so unprofessional) then they never honored their commitment nor the 1/2 price because they never showed up for the next appt. Didn't call or text to apologize. I wish I would hv read the reviews before spending money with this entity. Legal action is in the works because they have customer's personal information that can be misused. If this entity uses verbal violence like this towards anyone who speaks the truth about their wrong doings (instead of trying to correct the problem) is obviously badddddd business all the way around. Just look at THE OWNERS responses to all negative reviews. No wonder his employees speak & behave the way they do. read more

The service was amazing. I have fur babies and they leave my car disgusting and yet they made my car look brand new.

Pretty good. It wasn't flawless but I was told the things I need done are an extra charge. They're coming back Friday to do the rest, so I'll amend this then. So far I've spent about $200 ($150 for the premium service which they advertise as "showroom ready", $25 extra for pet hair plus tip) and I still need to pay to get the headliner cleaned and the outside polished. Since the outside was still kinda dirty (bug parts on the hood i could still get off with my nail, parts on the inside console spotty, a stain remained on the sunroof cloth cover, some adhesive I specifically asked them to get on the inside window was still there, etc.) They say they also do rim repair so I'm looking into that as well. They came by pretty late to accommodate me so that was cool. Will update! read more
