I was in pain, anxious, stressed, and had barely slept for 3 weeks since the fracture occurred. The first thing I noticed when I entered her office was the sudden drop in anxiety, and the calm -- and I had not even met her yet. When I did see her, we had an honest chat about the state of affairs. Since the moment I broke the bone, she was the first person to speak "human" to me and help me make sense of what'd happened, the recovery plan, how long it could take, and ways to get there. Over the next few months, with her attention to whole-body health, patience, and expert understanding of fascia, bones, and all things movement and balance, my elbow joint was not only healed but also straightened and strengthened to its original state. All have their own styles but there is something fundamentally lacking - they all typically take a one size fits all approach - working from the back down to the legs, then front for a bit and then wrap up. This is even with masseuses I've used many times - I'm guessing the massage establishments just train them that way. However, Karalyn combines massage with PT, really working problem areas and going hard at it. The result - you get the therapeutic benefits of the massage and the science of PT, which drives rapid recovery where you really need it. As only a rare and excellent massage can deliver, I ended light-headed and felt like jelly. As only great PT can deliver, I felt lighter on my feet afterwards with a cleaner posture and wider range of motion (and less pain and injury risk). All this from the convenience of home.
