We got the cheddar hot dog, classic hot dog, mozzarella hot dog, and potato hot dog, and honestly, everything was so good! But the potato and cheddar hot dog is something else. Very fresh and crispy and not greasy at all. Definitely don't skip the sweet chili sauce and orange sauce, they seriously hit different. They have their sauces on the side you can take them yourself they are generous. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and they even welcomed my dog, which made me love this place even more. Will definitely be back!

FYAA PLACE! I love going here when I'm trying to get something not too heavy or too light. It's the perfect in between for when I'm not too hungry. Service has always been good when I went. They have kiosks you can order from in the front, or you can order directly from the cashier. They get it out quick too and the price is fair for what you get. I love this place.

Mozzarella and sausage hotdog and tteokbokki

Second time I've tried this place. The first time was ok, but that was at least 3 years ago. I ordered the sausage and mozzarella hotdog and the tteokbokki. Both were yummy! The hotdog was cooked well and the mozzarella had a good pull. Outside was crispy and they ask if you want sugar added on it which I did. The tteokbokki was hot and it has a good spice level--not too spicy but enough for a kick. The staff were also super nice. I had asked if they use fresh or frozen and they said they used fresh which they make in house! I was craving fresh rice cakes today so I'm glad they had them.

It's a unique offering, Korean hotdogs! You get to choose your sauce, and what kind of hot dog you want, including cheezy goodness! It's a nice and unique snack. The potato was crispy on my hotdog and that was pretty nice! Overall had a good experience. Depending on the time and day, parking can be difficult. The wait isn't too bad once you order.

Myungrang serves up Korean corn dogs, which for the uninitiated means the batter is made with rice flour, giving it a super satisfying chewy and crispy exterior. This location is in the heart of Cupertino Main Street, though it is to-go only so you'll have to munch on one of the sparse benches or on the go. You order at the register and all the corn dogs are dipper and fried to order. Swung by for a late lunch at 1PM on a Saturday and the place was still fairly empty, but after we left there was a bit of a small line. My order is always a cheese dog with the regular batter, but the potato is also solid. I've been to this location a few times and it's fairly consistent. My only complaint is that the oil can be a little old sometimes making the eating experience a little bitter.

Mozzarella with sugar, potato mozzarella with sugar, & potato hot dog with sugar with sweet chili sauce

This is a favorite of mine! I come all the time & bring my friends. We LOVE the Mozzarella with sugar, potato mozzarella with sugar, potato hot dog with sugar & tteokbokki. We get all of the hot dogs with sweet chili sauce. These are perfect to take on the go or sit down and enjoy. We usually sit at the little tables out front & people watch. They always have good music playing and the service is always fast!!!

The hot dogs were quite good, service was top notch. Dude exuded such a positive and carefree energy. I especially liked the squid ink dog with mixture of mustard and the orange colored sauce drizzled on top, it tasted yummy. Recommend this hot dog place.

This is my go-to spot for Korean corn dogs! I usually get the potato mozzarella whenever I go, as it tastes like a giant mozzarella stick and the outside is nice and crispy. I also recommend the mozzarella & sausage one, especially if you've never had a Korean corn dog before. It would be awesome if they offered a potato one that contains half mozzarella and half sausage someday. Once your corn dogs are ready, the employees can add seasonings like sugar to them. They also have sauces and little sauce containers set up in a corner so you can add however much you want to your corn dogs. There's no seating inside, but there are some tables and benches located around the plaza where you can sit and enjoy your corn dogs at.

The Korean hot dogs here are bomb! There's no seating inside so we usually just eat it right outside. I normally get the cheddar and sausage with spicy mayo on the side. ADD THE SUGAR!!! The sugar dust is what boosts it to the next dimension. A staff member will ask you about your condiment selection when they are about to hand it off to you. Their spicy rice cakes are pretty good too and goes well with the hot dog. Overall, affordable and delicious treat/snack.

CHEAP AND YUMMY EATS. The flavors of a hotdog is all there and the flavors are so yummy. The cheddar cheese makes the corn dog taste so good and the sidebar of different sauces changes the flavor of the corndog so that it doesnt get old

    Yum!

This is one of the best Korean hotdogs I've had! It has a great location, always popping, and the food is always piping hot. The staff is friendly and really helpful to the point if you want your food to go, they are so accommodating and personally pack up each dog. If you're new to this style of hotdog I would recommend trying everything. Ask for sugar on half of your hotdog and don't be afraid to try the cheese mustard, it's full of flavor and not cheesy if anything its sweet and savory. The honey mustard and sweet chili are a go to and are always on my order.

Had a chance to try Myungrang after seeing the place many times! This spot is located in Cupertino Main Street, so the area is always bustling with lots of spots to choose from. Myungrang specializes in Korean hot dogs. If you are looking for a delicious snack, this is for you! The service is fast here and the hot dogs are delicious. I ordered the half mozzarella half hot dog one and this was yum! Crispy with a thick coating every bite was filled with lots of flavor. I would recommend getting it sprinkled it with sugar as it's delicious. The Side sauces were also yum - my favorite was the sweet chili sauce! overall would go back again!

Fav korean hot dogs place! Parking closer to the place could be hard to find unless you go early but there is a Main Street Garage in the plaza and it's about 3-5 minute walk to Myungrang. It's made to order so would have a small wait time while it's getting deep fried. There are no seats and tables inside. I've been here multiple times and my go-to is the mozzarella & sausage hot dog! First few bites would be the cheese and then sausage. I like it coated with sugar and dipped in cheddar cheese or honey mustard. The potato coated ones are nice too but it's too filling for me.

Ask the Community - Myungrang Hot Dog

Do the non-mozzarella hot dogs have dairy in them? Would they be safe to be consumed by someone who is allergic to cream, butter, milk, yogurt, and all milk derivates?

The corn dog batter likely uses milk. I would check with the staff to make sure.

Can I use Apple Pay here?

    Yes, they take Apple Pay!

What kind of meat are the sausages?

All of our sausages are beef!

    Is this gluten-free/offer gluten-free options?

I haven't seen any on the menu.

Do they accept cash or card? Or both?

They 100% take card. I didn't see a sign that said no cash, so they probably accept cash as well

    Are there vegetarian options?

There are a few vegetarian options- the potato and mozzarella, all mozzarella, and rice cake dogs. I'm unsure if the rice cake one is vegan due to the batter.

What is the difference between regular and premium dog?

    The premium is better :)

Hi, Do you offer any vegetarian options?

Yes, they have cheese options as well as rice cake options that are vegetarian

Delivery ?for Uber eat or DoorDash?

We use DoorDash, you can have it delivered or pick it up through DoorDash.

Can we add potato to the mozzarella sausage combo?

    Yes!

What is the hot dog meat made of? 100% beef? Beef/pork mix?…

They have a mixed one, and an all beef one

Is this rice flour? Gluten free hot dogs?

It's the same sticky rice as Korean rice cake. Similar to Chinese or Vietnamese style gluten rice flour used in sticky rice balls. I don't think it's gluten free.

Can I order at the store?

Yes you can! Their storefront is currently open :)

Do you guys take online orders?

No unfortunately we do not take online orders, but we take phone orders at (408)-931-6487

Are you guys open during the lockdown?

Yes .. we are open everyday from 11:00am - 8:00pm Now we are offering $1 off coupon for each regular price hotdog and spicy rice cake cup you order, which can be used next…

Most cheesesteak shops have a thick and chewy hoagie that sometimes gets to be bit too chewy and becomes a problem trying to take a clean bite - more often than not, it ends up with the meat falling out of the hoagie, and/or juice oozing out onto your lap. Not so here at New Jersey's! This is the first time I ate a cheesesteak with no mess, no meat falling out, no juice on my pants! They solve the problem by using a soft hoagie roll. Yet there is not the sogginess that one automatically expects, as there is little juice to be soaked up. If you think that this makes for a dry cheesesteak, it does not. The meat is tender, not dry at all, the onions and mushrooms are not limp, but the flavor is all there! Some people may prefer the thicker bun to give it a definite bite, but I do like this more refined eating experience!
