Nice hometown coffee shop. They sell breakfast sandwiches, donuts, pizza bagels (by far my fav) Al kinds of coffee flavors, tea, soda. They are a cash only place open 24 hours a day. This place is amazing!!! It is small, kind of divey - some would probably call it, but very busy and I can see why! This is definitely a local hangout place. While we were waiting for our food to come, people coming in and out, which were allot, knew each other. It was so neat and the food!!! YUM!! The donuts - OM-YUM!!!! We left with a ton of donuts to bring back home to our family. The staff were very friendly and helpful and just a delight to sit, grab a bite and of course donuts, relax, get to talk to the local folks and have a nice time. This is a cute little coffee shop in the center of Oxford. they have the biggest chocolate covered donut I have ever seen it will serve 4-6 people. I have bought one as a birthday cake once. They were reveiwed for their donut twist by phantom Gormet. Their donuts really are better than any of the chains, and they have a wide variety. The locals like to sit at the U shaped bar at all hours and they have about 4-5 lawn chairs outside the shop where you will see people hanging out drinking coffee at 2 am. I am not a huge fan of their coffee it is a bit watered down. And they don't take Credit or debit cards. I also had a donut and a glazed stick. The donut was really good, but the glazed stick was okay. Not as good as I thought it might be. The coffee was okay. I love getting pistachio ice coffee in the morning with their fresh bagels with cream cheese. The wait is somewhat long in the morning but it's well worth it! They have great breakfast sandwiches as well! My grandfather basically lived at this diner while I grew up from as young as a toddler. I never have been disappointed! The staff here are childish and extremely immature. My friends and I stopped in here the other night around 10:00 and a staff member decided to avoid fulfilling her responsibilities at work and chose to call some local kids from her town who started drama within the the store and then continued to carry it out into the parking lot. The doughnuts are very good and so are the drinks. The only thing is no COVID-19 protocols are followed, and customer service isn't great. Masks are not worn or are down on their chins. I stop here every now and again on my way to/from work. Their egg sandwiches are to die for. Bacon is always very crisp, croissant buttery and fresh, eggs perfectly cooked. The donuts aren't bad but nothing to write home about--and they only make them once a day so you have to get there early. By the time I get out at 1 there are usually only a few dusty old-fashioneds left. One other grievance: sometimes they let you use the bathroom and others they say it's staff only and to go across the street. If you're serving coffee and providing seating for people to stay a while you should probably have a bathroom they can use! read more

I believe donuts are made fresh at around 2:30AM and again later on in the afternoon Open 365 days a year except half days on Christmas and thanksgiving I think. Maybe Easter. I heard about this place from Phantom gourmet program and after watching the segment I wanted to visit the place. Easy to find with the gps, it's in a small shopping mall. I was especially impressed by the GIANT raised and chocolate covered donuts in the case and bought one for take home. I met a good friend of mine at N&J Donuts today for coffee. She is 72 years old, legally deaf & blind, lives near N&J, low income. This lady with a big heart walks to N&J almost every day, she has been a customer there for years, spends her money(lives month to month) at a local business. Today we ordered her a pizza bagel but asked to have it made on a bulkie (she has trouble chewing the bagels). Now, I worked at N&J for 26 years, leaving 2 1/2 years ago. Ask any waitress that has ever worked at N&J how often we accommodated this wonderful lady & other customers with special food preparation requests, especially if they were "regular" customers whose money kept this small business in business. When we asked the waitress for the special order she was more than happy to accommodate us, however, when she went in the kitchen, the owner, John Barakalis, told her she couldn't accomodate my friends request. When we questioned her why, the owner, John came out and told us that pizza bagels are only made on bagels. This little hole in the wall donut shop, next to the Cumberland Farms at the main intersection of Downtown thriving Oxford has the best donuts in the area. Dunkin looks like grocery store, boxed donuts compared to these!! I do believe they are open 24/7, which was why I was able to get fresh donuts coming home at 12:30 am one morning.
