I like this restaurant because it isn't chaotic and huge like most other all you can Brazilian bbq places tend to be. There is plentiful parking. We came for dinner around 7pm on Friday night. There was maybe 4-5 other tables already sitting down when we came in. The restaurant could easily sit another 20 tables. Now, some people might say their meat selection is smaller then some.of the other places, which is true to an extent. Let's be honest the star of the show is always the picanha. Theirs was perfectly cooked as well as the other cuts of meat. The server was quick to bring out more of whatever we wanted. The buffet and the salad bar is smaller then the other places. Be aware they have black beans but not fejioada. But it also had some korean side dishes which was a nice change. The cheese bread is in the shape of a waffle. Service was fast and friendly. The meat came out at a good pace. Whenever something in the buffet was empty it was quickly refilled. Be aware they charge an automatic service charge. We went with 4 people. The best thing about it was the price point. Almost half the price of the bigger restaurants with about 90 percent of the meat and maybe 70 percent of the salad and buffet items. This is an ayce but nothing spectacular and the meat was all tough and not cooked to perfection. I feel that I would have been better off paying more at Fogo and coming out satisfied. I have been wanting to come through here for some time (back when it was still called W Brazilian Steak House!) but life just keeps happening! And then all the planets and timing aligned so perfectly that it finally came into fruition. Party of 4 (Hubbers, Big Bro, GodKid and I) walked in close to opening hour so we were seated immediately. It was all our first time here, so we told our host. She told us the meat is AYCE, so with the items in the salad bar. The hot sides they bring and serve to us in portions. (I thought this was clever because it helps minimize food waste and it's sanitary!) There weren't a lot of choices at the salad bar, but I thought it was plenty. Besides, I wasn't there for greens, I was there for meats! And they didn't disappoint. All the proteins were great: seasoning was perfect, portions were generous, but hands down, my favorite were both pikhanas (original and garlic.) We couldn't get enough of them. And the servers for both sides and skewers were awesome, they more than happy to oblige with requests. Oh, and that waffle Brazilian bread?!? Yummmm!!! The only thing missing (per Big Bro) was chimichurri sauce, "the missing link, and it might have made the whole thing closer to perfection." We had a delicious dinner here tonight. Really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere with a clearly Korean-Brazilian vibe. They had all the Brazilian classics (picanha + caipirinha anyone?) with some delicious Korean sides as well. The service was very good, with a good flow of meats. My favorite was the picanha, New York steak, pork belly, and sausages. The cheese waffle in lieu of the cheese balls was delicious and tasted the same. Since the establishment is new, there's a couple of things I'd ask to change - 1) Some of the beef was over cooked, such as the tri tip and garlic picanha. I would get rid of the brisket sushi, it was too chewy, it doesn't belong on this menu. 2) The cinnamon pineapple needs to be cooked to the point that the flesh is soft, to bring out the sweetness, it was too hard. 3) $20 is too much to charge for a 6 year old (ours ate cheese waffle and rice), maybe have age ranges that are different prices. A good mom and pop option for Brazilian BBQ. This location is much bigger than the k-town one but still keeps it's hominess. What they lack in variety in cuts of meat and sides (it's still a solid selection of both) they make up for in quality and attentive service. Big plus over the original location is that beer and wine is served here! My group went during soft opening so they still had some timing kinks to work out and don't be afraid to ask for their homemade hot sauce! The Picanha and the pork belly were the standouts. Allll the meats are delicious. My friends even liked the chicken hearts. Baby beef and garlic beef were great as well. Maybe it was an off night, maybe my expectations was too high based on the reviews...my birthday dinner date here was a fail. I made reservations a day before my birthday dinner. Hubs and I arrived on time for our reservation at 7pm. The front dining was full so we waited standing near the door. No chairs, no front of the house to tell customers to wait for awhile and just booster seats lying on the floor near the door. Hmm...then I went to the gentleman near the cashier and mentioned the reservation...he's oblivious of it and just said just wait near the door. Hmm.... We were seated and was served with their salad, onions, salsa or pico de gallo, and cheese waffle bread. The cheese waffle bread was cold. And for an all you can it, one was only served. Hmm...ok. Here comes the rolling cart of rice, cream corn, beef stroganoff, mashed potato, and black beans. All tepid to cold. The Brazilian sausage, polish sausage, pork belly, and garlic picanha were good. Baby beef, tri-tip, and picanha were ok. All were just one time served....all you can eat what? Don't get me wrong but it was just not a good night at that time and was really disappointed. Maybe the hype for others is true but not for me that night. To pay for dinner for 2 for $100, I would expect that at least the utensils and drinking cups are not plastic/disposable and my food is warm to hot. I was in the neighborhood but wasn't in the mood for Japanese food or KBBQ. So I came when I saw W, which has a place in KTown, opened a new branch in Gardena. I noticed upon entry that the ambiance is a significant upgrade from the cozy space in Ktown. The menu is the same with a large selection of meats and side dishes. What sets this place apart from other churrascarias is the service. We were greeted by the owner at the door; he also personally saw to it that customers are well taken care of. The parade of food began as soon as we were seated. Leading the parade were the salad, chimichurri, salsa, and Pão de queijo. Instead the usual Pão de queijo, which is a cheese puff of sort, W serves a cheese waffle that reminds me of the mochi waffles. I can eat this all day. All the meats were fantastic. My favorites have to be the baby beef (not to be confused with veal) and Picanha. They also serve chicken heart, which is increasingly hard to find. Then there were the side dishes. Instead of self serve style the owners insisted on serving them at table side for better customer experience. Although this is a Brazilian steakhouse their beef stroganoff and creamed corn were surprisingly good. Again, I could those all day. W is still in a soft opening period with a slight discount on their AYCE menu. At $39.99 is an incredible bargain. This place is a must for meat lovers. read more

Continuing our adventures into checking out places we do not normally go to, we made a stop by N Brazilian Grill to see what they are all about and how the food was. For an all you can eat steakhouse, the prices were very reasonable and the quality of the meats were heavenly. Every minute or two they would bring out a new type of meat for us to try. Being our first time here, we wanted to try a little bit of everything and boy o boy was every bite delicious. The meats were tender, the drinks were delicious and the grilled pineapple was heavenly. Can get a bit pricey your first go around, but you can always dial in your order to specific foods. Either way, we will definitely be back and ready for more. Wife and I regularly come here, at least once a month. Just yesterday's visit - she and I with our one year old had our typical experience until the end. They started closing up around 8:40pm, asking us if we needed to get anything from the salad bar. The meats stopped coming. We thought it was a sign that we needed to go. So we got the check. It came out to be $137. WTF! Yes, we got two bottles of soju but that's it. The check clearly shows $19.95 service charge. We thought, screw this, we're not going to give them tip since a service charge was already slapped in the check. Note that only my wife, me, and our one year old son were there. It wasn't like we had a party of 6 or more. Very disappointed because we would've given them a $20 tip or even more. Instead this service charge made my wife feel a bit like cheapskate bc we didn't put any tip. I didn't feel bad at all for putting $0 on the tip line bc what they did was wrong. And the fact they started removing and cleaning the salad bar at 8:40 was a no no. Whether it was an off day or not, last night was unacceptable from a family who goes here often. I was really disappointed with the service here considering the high rating posted on Yelp. Things started well since we arrived right when they opened and had a reservation for our party of 5. We received a friendly greeting by the 2 women working there and the cart with the side items and our salads were brought out promptly. The cheese bread they served was warm, soft, and delicious. The beef stroganoff was also very good. I should have had more since the meat wouldn't be coming for quite a while. After a rather long wait, they came by with the sausage. I skipped it since a common strategy at Brazilian AYCE places is to bring sausage out frequently to try and fill you up with cheap stuff so you don't have room for the pricier cuts of beef. The beef came out extremely slowly and was often brought out on smallish wooden cutting boards that often didn't have enough meat for our party of 5. You had to ask for more when they gave you slivers of the better cuts. If your table got shorted, you'd have a long wait before the rest of your party got what ran out. We noticed that a large group of their fellow countrymen that arrived the same time we did never seemed to have to wait and the main server spent an excessive amount of time with them conversing in their language. Even as the restaurant got busier, that party was getting VIP treatment to the detriment of all the other customers waiting. In the meantime, the assistant server brought out more of the undesirable sausages, as if that would placate us. I will say the baby beef(that's their term) and garlic picanha were tender and tasty. I also enjoyed the pork rib although a few of our party weren't overly impressed. The regular picanha was tough and dry. The tri-tip was also overcooked. Keep in mind it took forever for these items to come out and often in inadequate quantities. When pineapple slices are one of the only highlights of your meal, that's really saying something and not in a good way. 39.99 sounds like a deal but when the experience is one like this, I'll gladly pay more somewhere else for a better experience. Needless to say, we won't return or recommend N to anyone we know. If you've had a better experience, how nice for you. Once was enough to learn my lesson. read more

Tucked away in a strip mall is N Brazilian Grill. The meats are very good. The price is even better. There is also a self serve station, which has cold food on the left and hot foot on the right. The service was excellent. The staff constantly checked on the patrons and always filled the glasses with cold water. The servers were really accommodating. I wanted Picanha and the server brought it out on the next round. The Picanha was really good. However, the New York Strip was even better due to its smoky flavor. Blame the guy that hyped this place up for me. I had high expectations for this Brazilian BBQ spot, but my experience fell short. The staff, though limited, was friendly and attentive. However, the atmosphere felt more like dining in someone's home than a restaurant, with scattered restaurant supplies, a lack of staff, and plastic water cups and pitcher. While the meats were flavorful, I found them to be on par with a low 4 out of 5 if Fogo de Chao were a 5. My husband disagrees, comparing them to Fogo. The whole experience was not comparable, especially considering that the salad bar/Fogo's marketplace was missing here. The real letdown was the sides--mashed potatoes overly buttery, and others tasting canned, like the creamed corn and black beans, and lukewarm rice that seems it had been microwaved. The sides were scooped from a pot rolled out in a janky wire cart, adding to the very casual and odd Brazilian BBQ dining experience different than what I'm used to. There was only one person serving the meats when we went. Luckily the place was still empty at the time. He would come around once and after a while, we just started ordering our meats. The pork belly was my favorite but it would come out inconsistent - either thicker sliced or extra crispy or extra salty - no serving was the same for my 3 orders of the pork belly. The visual appeal also disappointed, especially considering the disparity between photos and reality. Judging by the bathroom, the overall upkeep seemed questionable. Despite cleanliness, the appearance hinted at a potential for rapid deterioration. Supporting small businesses is important, but my experience leaves me hesitant to return. It is $39.99 per person here and given the experience, I'd gladly pay $20 more for the more better dining experience. However, a few improvements in atmosphere, sides, and upkeep could elevate this place to meet its potential. read more

So i went to the soft opening of this new Brazilian Churrascaria in Gardena called W Brazilian Steak House. When i tell you I was impressed i'm telling you the truth.. Honestly we came here just for the Picanha since it's my favorite brazilian steak cut and they did not disappoint. It was cooked and seasoned almost perfectly (medium rare), so it was super addicting. We also tried chicken heart (eh), and Garlic Picanha (too garlicky). My favorite sides was their brazilian cheese waffle and the grilled pineapple-- SO delicious! Obviously nothing beats the traditional brazilian cheese bread from other places. They also have this beef stroganoff, which was fine but a lot of people including my partner, seems to enjoy it however it gives me burger sauce vibes so it's not for me, LOL. The service here was so kind and attentive, and the restaurant was very clean and small, but they are still in their soft opening. ~$40 per person is not bad considering their quality.. W just opened in Gardena and I am very very excited since it's close to my house. I went to their first location in ktown but this one has lots more seating. The price is very very reasonable, half the price of Fogo, H&H. You will not find a churrascaria for $39.99. The place is very clean and service was excellent. Okay this by far has been the worst overall restaurant I've been to in a long time. All the food was extremely underwhelming, either undercooked, over seasoned or dry. They kept skipping our table, once other people started to come in, it's like the older tables didn't exist. This place didn't have a traditional signal coaster like other Brazilian steak houses. The service here was great! It's definitely a smaller compared to all well known Brazilian steak houses but that allows them to be more attentive to their guests. They don't have a cold bar but rather than a couple of side dishes that they bring out directly to the table. My husband and I came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We had been to other Brazilian steakhouse and my husband wasn't very excited to come to this one but we came anyways. Once we were greeted by the friendly staff and were sat down we realized it was a different experience. The brought out the meats and they were each very flavorful. The waiters were friendly and attentive and made sure that you got the cut of meat that you wanted. The salad bar might not have been as vast but it was definitely mighty. We really liked that they had salsa options. A hidden gem tucked in mini K-Town Gardena. I read about this place on another platform and when I checked yelp, I was surprised over how many raving reviews it had. I knew I had to try it so I brought my wife and two kids on a Saturday night. A small semi intimate dining experience is what you'll get at this place. As we arrived, we were promptly welcomed and asked the number of our party. Once we confirmed four, we were shown to a large table. The hostess, whom I believe is the owner or manager, politely welcomed us again and asked if it was our first time. Once I confirmed it was, the hostess showed us the menu on the giant tv in the dining room. After placing our drink order, the hostess returned with a cart full of sides in different pots. The sides here are served differently than other churrasquearías I have been to, and I am fine with that, it avoids waste! I chose sides of creamed corn and beef stroganoff. Both were so tasty! So much so, that i asked for seconds and thirds of creamed corn. Now, on to the meats! Pretty soon after devouring the sides, a server came by with some garlic beef. To say that it was tasty and delicious would be an understatement, because it was amazing! To my surprise, my picky eaters (kids) both tried it and immediately asked for more, thankfully the server was still at a nearby table so we were able to get seconds. Shortly after being in garlic beef paradise, the server returned with some Brazilian sausage, which was also superb. I could sit here and list all of the meats we tried individually but I will summarize this to say that we tried everything except the chicken hearts. Not because I didn't want to but because they never came out. Everything we tried was incredible, the only item that caught us by surprise were chicken wings. My 10 year old daughter grabbed one and couldn't finish it because it was very spicy. Not believing it was spicy, my wife tried it and couldn't swallow it over how spicy it was, and she loves the heat! During our meal, we got some cheesy waffle bread and it was also very delicious. Overall, for the amount of food we ate and the price we paid, we feel we got out money's worth. I wish this place lots of success.
