I have been at Fogo in several locations in La, Southern California and even in Miami... but never been a a special gathering as this, we were six in a table and included a fix menu of three courses. It was hosted by Woodford Reserve that offered several shoots and one cocktail from the brand. There was music since we arrived to the saloon where the event was hosted inside the Restaurant. Marco and Griselda the Fogo's hosts where awesome and we genuinely enjoy the whole event... the menu was part of the extensive offer from Fogo, excellent meat in a lovely ambiance. Surely I'll be back for another of these innovative events... look for them.

I have not been in this location in awhile. 2026 review. Went here for a work function. We all opted in to get the all you can eat meat and salad bar, $78 per person. No complaints on the food. The meats served were absolutely delicious! The meats were all so very good. Chicken, lamb, cow, and pig did not dissapoint! It all really comes down how much a person can really eat. The salad bar was absolutely fulfilling. After I got tired of the meats I went to the salad bar. Salad bar was great. Great salad servings with fish, salmon, figs, eggplants etc. You cant go wrong either way. Only one complaint. Bathrooms were dirty. They can use some help on that department. It did not feel clean. Overall, this place is outstanding!

We went to try their all day Happy hour again and found a spot at the bar about 5:30 on a Friday. We felt lucky as it got very busy after that. Their $10 burger is a great bargain- thick, juicy and comes with their tasty yucca fries. Our bartender also poured me a mean martini. They have a good food list of quality happy hour dishes and decent drinks.

Came here for lunch to celebrate Dad's birthday. Only Dad added a meat option and had Picanha. The 3 of us got the all you can eat Market Table. Parking is a little walk to the front of the restaurant, we should have dropped Dad off at the front but he insisted on walking. I walked ahead to put our name in for a table, they said we had to wait until the whole party was there. We were greeted by a friendly host and I informed her we were celebrating a birthday. We were seated fairly quickly and our server came by to pour water. There was an insect floating in my water, so she removed all the glasses and brought us new ones. The Market Table had plenty of choices of salads, fruits, cheeses, charcuterie, veggies, soup and feijoada. Everything was delicious! The gauchos came around a couple of times for Dad's Picanha, which he enjoyed. Our server could have been a little more attentive. She came to fill our water once and failed to fill mine. I had to track someone else down. Dad was offered dessert for his birthday, which we asked to take home. Food was good, ambiance was good, friendly employees.

What happened to my third favorite restaurant on earth? Look at all my reviews. I'm the furthest thing from bougie, needy, or demanding. Two stars because the happy hour menu "looked" pretty good, only got to try one thing. -3 stars because there is no reason why, on a Wednesday, when we're the only 2 people at the bar and there are 2 bartenders and what looked like a manager walking by us, staring at us for 30 minutes while our glasses have been empty and waiting to order food. One of the bartenders finally came by and noticed saying, "I'll be right back to take your order." God knows what was important in the empty restaurant, only to return and stare at us for another 10 minutes? Everyone looked miserable. It's not my job to flag you down every time I need something. My cousin gave zero tip for the first time in his life. C'mon guys.

Came here on a Friday night around 8:00 and got sat within 15 minutes! It was packed so it was nice to not wait too long. The server was great, super friendly and constantly checking in on us. The food from the buffet was very tasty. All super fresh and tons of options! Especially loved the roasted garlic! The meat was all so tasty! There were so many options and we didn't have to wait long for another meat to be offered. The melted cheese and honey was crazy good and unexpected! The chicken breast was so delicious and the beef rib was crazy tender! Definitely recommend

4.5 stars (rounding up on a good day) This Fogo de Chão location is playing a slightly higher league than the rest of the chain--and you can taste it. The filet mignon was absurdly tender, the kind that barely requires a knife and still delivers real flavor (not always a given with filet). But the real standout? The beef ribs--rich, deeply seasoned, and unapologetically indulgent in the best way. Each pass from the gauchos felt like a highlight reel instead of filler. Even the "supporting cast" overdelivered. The pão de queijo came out warm and airy with that addictive chew, the fried bananas had a perfect caramelized edge without tipping into dessert territory, and the polenta was actually craveable--crispy outside, creamy center, not an afterthought. Brazilian lemonade was too foamy for my taste. Service was warm but a touch out of sync. We had to flag down our favorite cuts more than once, which slightly interrupts the whole effortless churrasco flow. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable when everything else is dialed in. All in, this is one of those rare chain experiences that feels... upgraded. When they're on, they're really on--and this location clearly knows it.

Came to celebrate our anniversary, Upon arrival, we were seated by the door to the patio. I didn't mind it too much, but throughout the meal I kept getting hit with the smell of a wet cloth as servers were constantly going to the stand near us. It definitely took a while to receive any meat--it seemed like they wanted us to fill up on the sides first. I would say it took at least 15 minutes. After the sides came out, we asked for meat since they kept skipping. At one point I was served something I learned that day was called "blue," meaning it wasn't fully cooked. The outside is quickly seared for just a few seconds per side. It was definitely an experience. The server was very persistent about encouraging me to try it, insisting I would like it, but after the first bite I immediately knew it wasn't my cup of tea. He seemed a little disappointed, but to each their own. Suggestions are always appreciated--just maybe without looking so heartbroken! With all that blood, I swear I could see the heartbeat.

Baseline: For a sit down semi-casual restaurant is the quality of the food, existence of any unique offerings, quality of the service, and value of the overall dining experience. Food: Brazilian churrasco was great today! We stuck with Single Churrasco Cuts this visit which will fill you up. Piranha and Fraldinha for beef and I would say the Fraldinha meats made it around more frequently. We also had a dry-aged Tomahawk Ribeye for the table which had a great fat content and delicious seasoned crust to the steak. The Full Churrasco is the way to go if you are hungry so you can get the parade of different meats. The Market Bar and Feijoada bar was full of different food items and was super satisfying. Service: Great service from all the staff for our dining experience. Ambiance: Fogo de Chao was clean and the table/seating was well organized.

Thank you Fogo for reaching out to me and giving my experience a second chance. Service was on point, drinks were amazing and dessert just wow! The buffet was full! Bathroom clean. I understand things get busy and Fogo proved themselves. I can't wait to return again. I loved dressing up and bringing my mom and the ladies out. They all loved it!

Bar lounge area, sticky floors and food crumbs

Showed up for an early dinner meeting, arrived a little early and sat at the bar lounge area which was pretty good. Drinks were amazing from our bartender but there was an area near us which appeared to have a had a spilled dish of some sort and was pretty sticky. Did not seem to bother any worker there as it was in a high traffic area and was continuously stepped on over again and again. The bathroom was is terrible shape and someone appeared to had vomit in the urinal I'm actually hoping it was in fact vomit I'm not sure, and the sink area was pretty bad as well. Kinda grossed out and took from the overall experience.

This place was amazing, from the time we arrived to the very end. All nine of us arrived and were seated within minutes. We said we would have all-you-can-eat. And boy was it all you can eat. We had every meat they offered and loved every piece of meat we could get our hands on.LOL.... The bar salad had many choices to pick from. The all-you-can-eat doesn't include Drinks, Dessert, and other specialty items on the menu. The atmosphere was busy, noise level was surprisingly low for a restaurant full of hungry humans. Beautifully decorated.Highly recommend this restaurant. They have Valet parking, Skip it. You'll wait 10-15 minutes standing around waiting for your car. Don't be lazy and walk to your car, it's faster than Valet, and you'll save some ridiculous Fee.

We have come to this Fogo de Chão a few times! Always a different experience, but we leave full and satisfied! This Fogo de Chão location is visible from Rosecrans Ave. There is valet parking with varying prices in front or a self-parking garage with 90 minutes free. The best bang for your buck is the Churrasco Experience! It's all you can eat (AYCE)! Included in the price are the meats, Market Table, & sides. Items that are included that you can request are the cheese with honey and grilled pineapple with brown sugar. Both are so good! When we come on Sundays for the Brunch, there's also an Omelet Station. TIP: If you have a Sam's Club or Costco Membership, you can buy a $100 eGift Card for $79.98 (Sam's Club) or $79.99 (Costco). Must buy online and you will get an email with the eGift Card numbers. Be sure to join Fogo Rewards if you plan on dining a few times a year. It is worth it! You get to choose which reward you want from three options. The Gaucho Chefs carve the meat so fast I have a hard time taking pictures and then later trying to remember what I was eating! There are discs on the table. One side is red, the other is green. Flip the disc to green if you want more meat and red if you don't. On our latest visit on Oct. 26, 2025, I requested the hot sides (Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Caramelized Plantains & Crispy Polenta, and Pão de Queijo) to be brought out after we had made a trip to the market table and acquired some meat but they brought them all out right away. I dislike them getting cold on the table while we are away. Anyways... The Churrasco Experience includes a nice variety of meats. My favorite is the Lamb. We both love the Picanha (top sirloin), Bone-in Ribeye, Fraldinha (bottom sirloin), Filet, & Medalhes com Bacon. The favorite is the Bone-in Ribeye. If there are certain cuts of meats you want but the aren't making it to your table, you can ask the staff. You can also request Med. Rare if that's how you like it. Most of the meats that came to our table during our latest visit were Well Done and we don't like meat cooked that much!! We flagged down a staff member and they eventually brought out meat to our liking. Good to know! This is my birthday month, so we need to go again! They sent me $25 off a Full Churrasco.

I wished to connect with her in an effort to re-establish our work relationship after being out of the loop the last few years. I was hopeful that Eddie V's would prove an ideal location with which to impress. Indeed it was! We began what would turn out to be one of the most enjoyable outings in fine dining since I have been in L.A., and the South Bay/Manhattan Beach area in particular. I can say that Eddie V's hit on all three elements that most look for when considering fine dining options-the ambiance (location itself), the food, and of course my #1 thing-the level of customer service! Other than past experiences in my 2nd home of New Orleans, (where top tier customer service is to be expected from "hole in the walls" to century old restaurants such as Antoine's, Galatoire's, and Commander's Palace-this was bar none my best fine dining experience in Los Angeles.......ever! Over the course of the next few hours, we would indulge in the following: Starters: *Caesar Sald-light and scrumptious. (I devoured this option in under 10 minutes) *Shrimp Cocktail-presented as a table spread as opposed to the shrimp being hooked on the outside of a generic wine glass. The shrimp were large and super fresh. We both moved in for the attack here! Dinner: *Crab Cakes (3) These are bar none the absolute best in L.A. I had two, and my guest knocked out one of them-they tasted just like Gulf crab-which is saying something. *One 8oz Filet Mignon-cooked to perfection (we kind of split this) lol Beverages: *GL Substance (aka the house red), which I enjoyed thoroughly. * Smoked Old Fashioned (part of a nice presentation where our server literally lit up fire and "smoked it" in front of my guest. *Perfect Margarita-a certified margarita according to my guest. * Fresh coffee and cream-hot and fresh like the food! Desert: *Celebration Dessert which consisted of a variety of special treats-all of which were complimentary. *Meyer Lemon Tart-a mouthwatering offering that was the epitome of that perfect blend where lemon and sugar meet in the middle. Customer Service The CSA, or Customer Service All Star of this experience was Kayla P-pictured. Honorable mention goes out to hostess Azhanee-pictured. Server Kayla P and Hostess Azhanee collaborated as a team and ennsured that my guest was greeted by name and that her valet was already paid upon arrival! GM Melissa L Pacana checked in on us a few times, thereby adding the cherry to the top of this A-1 experience. Special thanks to Server Kayla P for taking super loving care of us-you're a credit to Darden Restaurants, & this Eddie V's in particular.

"Go Shorty, it's your birthday! We're gonna party like it's your Birthday!!"…read more Yes, you guessed it, I had the privilege of spending my birthday at Eddie V's this past weekend (May 22 for anyone who is keeping track). I have been here before and it is one of my favorite places for a boogie happy hour. However this visit, I was here for dinner with my friend on Shawnté Day (put it on your calendars for next year!) I was greeted with a smile and kind words by the gentleman at the door. I am not sure what his official title is, but it definitely set the vibe to have a handsome man in a suit opening the door and greeting me with a smile (Check). When I entered the hostesses were very nice, and when I informed them that it was my birthday, they lit up and gave me well wishes. My date was waiting patiently in their designated waiting area (because I always show up fashionably late), and we were escorted to a beautiful round booth in the lounge/bar area. We decided to get a bottle of Vueve Clicquot yelllow label and ordered the 8oz Flilet with an add on scallops, he got the 8oz as well. And we both opted for the Parmesian horseradish crust ... Ahhhhhhhmazing! Dizzert (yes I spelled that correctly) was the banana's fosters, which burned for an insanely long time, but it was delicious. Overall plus plus. My only feedback would be that our server, as nice as she was, was a little too chatty for my liking. Maybe it was because we were in the bar area, but if I wanted to chat, I would have sat at the bar. I wanted to enjoy my date and it be about me (It was my birthday afterall!), and she kept interrupting to chat. But the experience was great, i will be back!! Protip: Park in the lot next door for free to avoid the valet cost.

I met Vi, one of the operating partners. I told them how much my wife appreciated the great treatment which is one of the reasons we returned. The special meal included a very generous and tasty salad as well as a perfectly prepared Wagyu hangar steak with polenta, broccolini and chimichurri sauce. It was delicious. Quilt Cabernet went perfectly. They comped our dessert since it was our Anniversary. Our experiences were excellent, and we plan on returning next week for another great meal at Paul Martin's. We never expected it to stick in our minds so much. I highly recommend it! Of course, the steaks were amazing too. We also ordered a dessert and mentioned that one of us was celebrating a birthday, so they brought out a special candle for the occasion. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating, especially since we have a baby. Their approach is quite different from other steakhouses, as everything is à la carte. This made it a bit challenging to decide what to order since I have my go-to choices at steakhouses, but everything turned out great. John was our server, he's nice and friendly! We really indulged! The restaurant is baby-friendly and not intimidating, so I would definitely recommend it.

Back in 1980, while a junior in high school, I noticed a really cool group of guys hanging out on campus attracting all the young ladies. Since I knew a couple of the guys already because I played little league baseball with one of them, and varsity football with the other (who would go on and play for the Raiders), I asked if I could join the group. I did not know it at the time, but later found out that they called themselves "Members Only." Yes ... I said Members Only! Before you ask, yes everone had at least 2 Members Only Jackets. Fast forward to the evening of 4/16/2026, at BOA Steakhouse, I was really excited to see the guys because I had not seen most of them since The Members Only Very Merry Xmas Dinner Party that I hosted at Ocean Prime in Beverly Hills, the previous year. Now back to BOA, dinner and service was great for the most part. Several fellas ordered steak with a side of Alaskan King Crab Legs, and I had my usuual Seabass with my favorite Old Fashioned drink. I tried to warn a couple of the fellas about ordering Alaskan King Crab Legs at a restaurant that didn't Specialize in Alaskan King Crab Legs, but they didn't listen and complained once their ordered arrived. Several hours later, when the bill was finally dropped off, I had consumed 4-5 old fashoned drinks and I was in a Great Mood. I therefore paid the bill and then we went outside and talked for a while and took some pics. Apparently, I had enjoyed myself a little too much because the General Manager, Eddie, called me and informed me that I had forgotten my credit card. I therefore walked back into the restaurant and retrieved my card. There was not a problem until the next day when I sobered up and looked at the bill. Apparently, the side of Alaskan King Crab Legs that the fellas ordered with their steaks were $120 each. This caught me completely off guard because there were 4-5 crab legs that measured approximately 5 inches long placed into a small bowl. Instead of delivering 1-2 Alaskan King Crab Legs to the table for each guest that ordered them, the chef decided to cut them up and deliver them in a small bowl. Bottom line is, I was Not satisfied with the quantity of crab legs in relation to the price paid. A few days later, I managed to get GM, Eddie, on the phone and expressed my disappoinment with the Alaskan King Crab Legs that my guest ordered. According to Eddie, my guest ordered 8oz crab legs each and that's exactly what was delivered to them. When I asked , Why the crab legs had been cut up and placed in a small bowl? He responded with "For Convvenience!" Apparently, the table would not have accommodated several Alaskan King Crab Legs, so for Convvenience, they cut them up into approximately 5 inches long and placed 4-5 of them in a small bowl. To be honest, his response Stunned Me because living in Laguna Beach and having Real Alaskan King Crab Legs in local restaurants, they did NOT appear to have that problem. I will NOT return! Sincerely, Taking my Business Elsewhere

But....Arthur J has proved itself to be a special place, even more so when the boss is buying. My colleagues and I were treated to a really great experience when our new boss came to town and took us out. The location was chosen by my colleague who is a Manhattan Beach resident and frequent diner. He chose the items off the menu and did an absolutely fantastic job. Absolutely everything from the impeccable service to the perfectly delicious food were amazing. Cocktails were impeccably created. The ambiance was fantastic as well. This place ain't cheap. I still wonder why steakhouses feel they have to charge so dang much for a special steak I can make at home for $30. Charging over double and sometimes triple just seems egregious. Yes, it is in downtown Manhattan Beach, mere steps from the ocean. I get it. But...this dinner was amazing and I'm glad to have had the opportunity. I'd like to go back, probably won't but I very much appreciated everything that evening. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND....on an expense account or if you're one of them fancy Manhattan Beach folk...lol

Customer Service Incident- 5-19-26 Check # 72 Table 31…read more This report outlines concerns regarding a recent dining experience at Tin Roof Bistro (TRB) in Manhattan Beach. While prior visits to the restaurant have consistently met high standards of quality and service, several service and billing issues during the most recent visit resulted in dissatisfaction and concern regarding the accuracy of the final bill and tip calculation. Following a lengthy day of medical appointments and a 90-minute drive from UCLA during rush hour traffic, my wife and I decided to dine at Tin Roof Bistro rather than return home to prepare a meal. Based on previous positive experiences, we expected the same level of quality and service historically associated with the establishment. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly and initially received courteous service from our waiter, Brandon. However, several issues arose throughout the course of the meal: We ordered two glasses of wine shortly after being seated. Despite the simplicity of the order, the beverages were not delivered in a timely manner. Our order included: * A Caesar salad to share * Bread service * Two entrées After an extended wait period, I reminded the waiter that the Caesar salad had not yet been served. The salad was then delivered promptly following the reminder. At the time the salad arrived, I specifically requested that the entrées not be brought out until we had finished the salad course. Despite this request, the entrées were delivered within minutes, before we had consumed more than a few bites of the salad. We asked staff to remove the entrées temporarily until we completed the appetizer course. The entrées were eventually re-served and were of good quality. Billing and Point-of-Sale Concerns The primary concern arose during the payment process. The electronic payment screen initially appeared accurate with respect to the total amount due. Based on the displayed total, I elected to leave a 20% gratuity despite the service shortcomings experienced during the meal. After requesting a printed receipt, I discovered the following: * The entrées had been entered twice on the bill. * A corresponding credit had been applied to offset the duplicate charge. * The gratuity calculation, however, appeared to be based on the inflated subtotal before the duplicate entrée credit was applied. This duplicate entry increased the apparent bill total by approximately 54%, which in turn increased the calculated tip amount accordingly. Due to fatigue at the time, I chose not to pursue the matter with management during the visit. However, I also observed a nearby table returning an order, which raises concern that similar billing or service issues may have affected other customers. Concerns and Recommendations Given the increasing public discussion surrounding questionable tipping and point-of-sale practices, this experience raises concerns regarding whether: 1. The issue resulted from an employee action, or 2. The POS system is improperly calculating gratuity suggestions based on inaccurate pre-adjustment totals. While I cannot determine whether this incident was intentional, I strongly recommend that Tin Roof Bistro review its POS system configuration and billing procedures to ensure gratuity calculations are based solely on the actual final total owed by the customer. Additionally, improved coordination between kitchen staff and servers regarding course timing would significantly improve the dining experience. This experience was disappointing, particularly because Tin Roof Bistro has historically maintained a high standard of service and consistency. Although the food quality remained good, the service delays and billing irregularities negatively impacted the overall experience. Should I choose to dine at TRB again, I will pay closer attention to the billing and gratuity calculations before completing payment.

These plants appeared to have union representation. They're everywhere. Hanging from things. Growing out of things. Quietly observing your meal. The whole place feels like someone built a really nice restaurant and then let nature move in as a long term tenant. The room hums. Not loudly. Not aggressively. Just enough. Glasses clink. People lean into conversations. Servers weave through the room carrying plates that look heavy enough to alter their center of gravity. Nobody seems rushed. Everybody seems busy. It's a difficult balance. The biscuits arrived first. Now, I'd heard about the biscuits. People talk about these biscuits the way fishermen talk about the one that got away. Slightly dramatic. A little emotional. Hard to verify. Turns out the stories were true. Warm bacon cheddar biscuits with maple butter. I took one bite and immediately understood why people order a second round. The outside has just enough structure to remind you it's baked. The inside is soft enough to make you wonder whether butter has secretly become a building material. We ordered another. Not because we needed another. Because apparently that's what happens here. The creamy polenta showed up next and felt like the culinary equivalent of a weighted blanket. Comforting. Smooth. Relaxed. The sort of dish that encourages you to slow down and stop checking your phone. The duck was one of my favorites. Lightly fried with crisp skin and tender meat, resting on white Italian beans and rosemary. It felt like something a French chef would cook after spending a weekend in the countryside and becoming briefly inspired by fresh air. At some point you stop evaluating food and simply nod in agreement with it. This was one of those moments. Dessert was equally dangerous. The olive oil cake arrived with strawberries and disappeared much faster than logic suggested it should. The cheesecake somehow managed to be rich and light at the same time, which feels like it should violate a law of physics somewhere. Service deserves its own mention. The whole team operates like a group project where everyone actually did their part. Plates appeared when they should. Water glasses mysteriously refilled themselves. Questions were answered without anyone making you feel like you should already know the answer. The chef's French influence shows up everywhere, but not in a showy way. Nothing feels complicated for the sake of being complicated. Everything feels like somebody spent a lot of time thinking about it so you wouldn't have to. By the end of the meal, I realized Manhattan Beach Post had done something difficult. It felt special without feeling serious. You can dress up. You can come casually. You can celebrate something important or absolutely nothing at all. Just order the biscuits. The plants already know you're going to.

Some dishes could've been executed better. Going down the list of dishes I had here: - Bacon Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits: These were more like scones rather than biscuits. Crunchy with good bacon and cheddar flavor. - Japanese Hamachi Crudo: Unique and I liked the citrusy flavor and creamy texture. However, 3 small slices of fish for $26 was overpriced. - Leafy Greens & Radicchio: Solid and crispy salad with a nice tangy dressing. The cheese also added a lot of sharp flavor which was nice. - Skirt Steak: Good flavor and char, but a bit tough. Also some dry pieces. - Chilean Sea Bass: Lemon orzo risotto was creamy and delicious. The sea bass itself was okay, nothing special. It felt overpowered by the risotto. The fish was moist and flaky though. - 20 Oz Prime Beef Ribeye: Quality was subpar relative to price. Portion size was solid by the steak itself was inconsistent. Some of the pieces were rarer while others were more well-done even though we asked for medium rare. There were also some dry pieces which I did not like. Flavor was good though. - Strawberry and Olive Oil Cake: Was confused since there was just a thin layer of cake, but realized the title also referred to the mousse. I would title it 'Strawberry Mousse with Olive Oil Cake" to make it less confusing. Regardless, this was a delicious dessert! Love the fruity strawberry and savory pistachio flavors as well as the smooth textures. - S'mores sundae: Got this on the house for my aunt's birthday. A generous portion but the components were a bit too sweet for my liking. I visited this restaurant for a birthday that I organized and my experience was overall good. Reservation was made easy using OpenTable and I could also mention it was for a birthday occasion. The ambiance was gorgeous with good mood lighting. Good for group and 1 on 1 dining. Parking is metered or street parking. Overall, I probably wouldn't come out of my way to dine here again, but my experience wasn't bad just not significant enough to put in my rotation. Would come back if someone treated me here though.
