I came in for a pedicure on a Saturday mid afternoon and I completely expected it and understood it to be busy. I made my place in line and sat down and noticed the decor of the place was pretty nice. I did realize it was pretty hot and they had some fans blowing, but they really needed to just turn on the ac. I was waiting for about 20 minutes until the girl at the front desk told me I'll be up in just a few more minutes, 10 minutes later I'm in a pedi chair waiting for someone to help me. She turned on the water for me, but didn't actually turn on the machine itself so no bubbles or lights, just plain sitting warm water. And that's fine, but I waited there with my feet in lukewarm water for another 20 minutes and at this point I was ready to walk out. I gave them 10 more minutes so about an hour of waiting and a very unfriendly woman gave a half hearted apology and started working with me. She had no conversation with me and to be honest I felt like instead of a person I was just someone to pass through. I had the worst foot massage of my life with a ring on her finger. The woman next to me was also getting a callus removal and the technician kept putting the skin shavings on the ground and to me, that's just gross. I don't typically write reviews but felt compelled to do so so that hopefully they read it and change. Went in after work for a manicure before we left on vacation, so i was in a great mood and in vaca mode! First off, the technician (who by the way happened to be the manager) was on her phone for about 5 minutes, never asked me how I was doing or really even made eye contact. Once she got off her phone, I made the mistake of asking how her day was going and she proceeded to spend the entire time complaining to me about another customer. Now, I'm not one of her regulars that she's established a relationship with... I was a brand new customer. The rank went on for so long and then changed to another rank about something that frustrated her this weekend. I'm sorry, but I'm not your counselor... I'm paying YOU. I even went so far to hint to her by saying, we need to talk about something happier. It didn't work as she kept talking about this disrespectful customer. I understand everyone has a bad day and you can mention it, but it totally ruined my experience of getting my nails done, which I rarely do. The quality of the polish was ok but nothing amazing. And when I went to pay, she just yelled out $20 to the girl at the front- this was for a manicure with just polish, no gel, no acrylic, just polish and enough negativity to last me the rest of the year. Like I said, I'm not big on being critical of others, especially when they're doing something nice for me, but I left feeling sad, frustrated and annoyed which is not a great way to feel after I'm supposed to be getting pampered! read more

I came here for my first time since it was closer than my normal place and I went in for a quick polish change on my feet before going to a funeral. I took my daughter with me for the same. Two sets of toes to just be painted. The woman who did mine was incredibly rude and not personal. She ended up getting paint all over my toes and said it was because I had dry skin and I should just get a pedicure. I pointed out how I still had paint all over my skin and she laughed and asked if I wanted it removed off my skin. I said yes. She forcefully and rudely shoved my sandals (which were my dress sandals) back on my feet and in the process smeared the pink polish all over them. I then had to ask for her to correct them once again and she just huffed and put the polish again on them. Without any top coat or anything despite that the polish was totally off and it was back to bare nail with now pink stain not to mention that my sandals now have pink nail polish all over them. Absolutely awful. It was obvious that she was upset that we weren't getting more services. $25 for two polish changes ($10 for children and $15 for mine). One that will have to be corrected once I get home. Absolutely awful. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is a joke. read more

I went to get my eye brows waxed today and these people DOUBLE DIP the wax! That is just gross. I will not be going back to this place and it is just unsanitary and unprofessional. After talking to another guy who worked for a different salon he said some of the salons even save the wax that they put on your feet and reuse too. Oh GEEZ! read more

Here is where the excell, The people are very friendly the price was good and the have lots of stations. Here are their areas that need improvment, they instruments are dull, bleeding occurred my cuticles are ripped instead of cut, the file was very worn and it appeared sanitation was not a priority. Don't plan on going back , not worth an infection. It is so close to my house and they are so friendly I was hopefully I had found my new salon. read more

I have never found a salon that is more organized and accommodating. I've tried others, but I always have come back to N'Joy. I love that they go out of their way to make everyone feel special. It is a relaxing experience whenever I go there! I love all of the girls! I like all of the different colors and I appreciate the system they have in implemented to remind me of my appointment every 2 weeks. It is very professional. My life can get a bit hectic and it is so helpful to have the text message reminder to confirm my appointment. The reception staff is also very professional and friendly! Walked in on Tuesday night and they told me it would be 25 mins for just a basic pedicure. Debated waiting that long but decided to stay. They sat me 20 mins into my wait and soaked my feet (in cold water) for ANOTHER HOUR before anyone came over to me! Would have never waited if I was told it would be an hour. Awkward set up. They have tried to cram to much into their space. If you want a full set you are seated at an attachment of the checkout counter. No one here seems to be in a rush to help anyone or get anything done. Will absolutely never be back. What a waste of time. read more

Very rude customer service. My grandmother went here and has Parkinsons. The woman who helped her she said was very rude and was getting angry telling her to stop shaking. Even after my grandmother explained that she can't help it the woman continued to become angry with her. Many comments made to my grandmother (outside of her hands shaking) were very rude, and a full service was not even done on her hands when she had asked for a manicure. My friends and I went to this nail shop today and they treated us very poorly. My friend's nails were not the way she wanted them. So we went back into the shop and told the front desk lady that she wanted her nails repainted. The person who painted the girls nails came up yelling in our faces about how she should have told her before leaving. She continued to yell at her and we told her to stop yelling at us and the front desk lady started to tell us we are causing a problem. read more

I am done trying to give this place another chance, and another. They have no real organization and the wait can be ridiculous. The last time I went, I decided it would finally be my last. In the past, it made no difference if I made an appointment or not; I still waited a ridiculously long amount of time, for no apparent reason. I waited an hour and half. I could tell the place was busy so I waited until an hour was up before I asked about my status. I was curious why people seemed to be coming off the street and were ushered to their pedicure chairs when I was still waiting. The girl at the desk said she had told everyone when they checked in to come back in an hour b/c they were so far behind. She absolutely did not tell me this. (I live 5 minutes away and gladly would have gone home and returned if she had told me.) They give decent (not great) pedicures, but not worth the hassle and dealing with the incompetence. read more

There are several bad reviews complaining about this place. Reviewers have written about the service and long wait times. Think about this, if it is so terrible, why are they always so busy? my gel (pink and white) manicure lasted a month - and even then it was not chipping - my nails had just grown out too much to continue on. they are clean and accommodating (they are even friendly when you come in for something small like removing gel polish). I understand that weekends are hectic. They made me wait for 1 hour and without a problem they seated 2 of their clients before me after making me wait for 1 hour. They were not decent enough to let me know they were appointments and I will need to wait . Every 15 minutes they kept telling me they were almost ready for me! I am a long time client of theirs. Walked in on a Saturday. It was quite busy but that was fine. I waited about 20 minutes to have my pedicure started. I was wearing some flipflops with straps. After my pedicure was finished, the technician tried to help me put my flipflops on but was worried it would ruin my nails. I was getting a color change on my fingernails as well, so she told me to follow her, and had me walk barefoot to the manicure area. Barefoot in the nail salon? She did not even offer to give me those paper disposable flipflops. I stayed quiet. She asked if I wanted to pay before she started on my hands. I said sure, paid with my card, and added a tip. She looked at me rudely and said "you don't have cash?" I said I do and gave her a cash tip. She muttered "thanks" under her breath and began with my nails. To top it off, my polish is sloppy and looks unprofessional. The whole experience was just uncomfortable and unpleasant instead of relaxing and enjoyable like it should be. Rude.
