I have used this salon on Chandler Heights for over 5 years and I have to say, please be careful using them. I have used two different gals there and I became concerned that things were not as clean as it might be. During two different pedicures I was concerned about one of my toes that it might be fungus. I mentioned it to my regular gal and she said no it was fine. The second gal a few months after that I again mentioned it and about a fungus. She also told me not to worry about it. I do have a fungus and all I ask is that they be honest. Things happen but why lie? I am very disappointed in them and I am not the only one who got a fungus. I am not the mani-pedi girl that I would love to be. I am envious of the girls in my BodyFlow class who have perfectly painted piggies every day. So...when I do finally have a REASON to get one, I want it to live up to it's reputation. The salon I go to does not do nails so they recommended Njoy Nails to me for when my girlfriend's from college were coming out for a long overdue visit. I stopped by a week in advance to see if they had availability for all three of us together on a Thursday. No problem! Thursday comes and its the busiest I have ever seen the shop. I go to Basha's next door it seems every other day. We look around and there ARE three chairs available for pedicures but they are all spread out. Ohhh, they forgot that we wanted to be together. Luckily, there were some very nice women who changed their seats so that we could chit chat together. C'mon, it's been 5 years since we've seen each other! So, they sit us all down together and a tech comes over and starts to work on me. Great, but my girlfriends are just sitting there. No water, nothing. After a few minutes pass, I ask if they are going to get their own tech. We are told yes. About 10 minutes pass before my friend on the left gets a girl and 15 before my friend on the right gets help. This is ridiculous! There are three levels of pedicures and we all choose the middle level which is supposed to have a longer massage and callous removal included. The massage was half hearted and not satisfying at all. I must admit that my feet were wonderfully soft and my polish is still in strong competition with the gym girl's after 3 weeks. Despite that, I don't know if I'll return. If I want to pay almost $40, I'll go to a salon instead of a nail place. read more

I drive down from flagstaff once a month and ALWAYS make sure to stop here to get a pedicure. All the ladies are nice and do their best to make you as comfortable as possible. Never a problem and have been going here for years! read more

Gotten dip nails 3 times here 2 were good. But one time they fell off in 5 days and I had to go back and get them replaced the girl did get in trouble that did them I think she was in a rush but they replaced them for free which they should. They are also a little rough and cut me but I expect that when getting nails done. read more

Awful. Would not recommend. I asked for a certain callous to be removed and she said yes and the didn't do it. Then for the "longer" massage she only rubbed one spot. I had to ask her to move her hand around. Didn't fix ingrown toenail. Then my friends had hot wax and she didn't do hot wax on me because "she did callous removal ". Didn't know it was either / or. I've been here a few times and it's really a hit or miss with me. Some nail techs who work here are so good and so so nice but then others do a terrible job and are just not very nice. I always get acrylic nails and the last time I went a day after the nail snapped off, so I called in to set up an appointment to get it redone and asked how much it was, she told me it was free (this not the lady at the front desks fault btw) so I went in for my appointment and i got there a minute before and as always I didn't ask for anyone specific which is not a good idea when going here unless you set up an appointment with a specific person they don't care, one time I waited 30 minutes even though I set up an appointment just because I don't have anyone specific to do my nails, that was just a side note back to my story. So I got a different nail tech than the first time I did my nails so she did my nail that broke but didn't even check when she was sizing it to see if it was the same length as my other nails and it was crazy long I hated it, then she told it after she did my nail that it would be 5 dollars, I am I very shy person and didn't want to me rude and say on the phone the lady told me it was free so I just went with it, then she checked me out on these iPad looking machines which are usually fine but she literally said to me "the machine doesn't take 5 dollars you will have to add 5 dollars tip" so she made me pay 10 dollars for a nail fix that the front desk lady said was free. I was so upset because not only did I have to pay 10 dollars for a nail set that all together costs 50 dollar but this nail was super long so I called in and told the front desk lady my story and she gave me my 10 dollars back thank goddess. This salon would be amazing if I knew a name of any of the good acrylic nail techs here and I wish I knew the name of the lady who charged me 10 dollars for one nail so I could warn you. read more

I can't believe I've been using this nail salon for 2 years and hadn't thought of writing a review! Silly me! Even when it's busy, I'm seated with my tootsies soaking in the bubbling water with no more than a 10 minute wait. Every tech is professional, courteous, chatty if you are, or quiet if you've got to catch up on emails or writing Yelp reviews! ;-) I'm pretty hard on my feet so regular pedi's are a need, not a luxury, so this goes beyond pampering! They are generous with massage time, chairs are great and pricing is good. My color lasts forever and I always feel like I have brand new feet when I leave! Give this salon a try, but don't make it too crowded for me! ;-) read more

WORST NAIL SALON EVER. i'd give them 0 stars but i had to give them one. dont even think about going here. I went to get a brand new full set and after 4 days they already started cracking at the sides. a brand new full set should NOT crack after four days. $60 plus a $7 tip for cracked nails after 4 days? what a waste of money. i called and asked them to fix it and they did fix it for free and tipped her $7 AGAIN. but they didnt end up fixing the problem at all and they started cracking and lifting again the next day. yesterday one of the cracks on my nail was so low it actually caused my natural nail to break and i was left with a broken painful nail. i had to wait till wendesday to contact the manager again and at this point im done. i dont want these nails anymore since they are a health hazard and i want my money back. i dont want to pay for a service that im not happy with and causing painful nail breakage. i finally reached her today she was SO RUDE. After i had told her my issues and how i wanted my nails off and my money back she told me to "Not open my mouth to her like that" and she was literally SCREAMING AT ME. She told me a refund would not be given because they had provided a service for me. So im left with a crappy set of nails, a broken nail and $74 WASTED ON THIS DUMP. I LOVE N'joy Nails. I have tried many nail salons and this one is the very best. It's clean and new looking inside. They have lots of stations for both manicures and pedicures. The owner is great and the nail technicians are too! They have the nicest and most friendly receptionist who does her best to accommodate everyone. With a pedicure you get a 10-min leg massage that rivals high end spas. They have a ton of nail polish, gel and SNS colors, too. I definitely recommend this nail salon. read more

I think the best nails I've ever gotten and I've been to a lot of nail salons, the workers were just so nice they weren't ignoring me just felt like they were happy to be there. It didn't take too long either which was good. I got this set for $50 dollars and literally no bums and they all the same length (you would be surprised how many nails I've got with weird bums and different lengths) I would recommend. read more

I will never go back. I had SNS taken off because I decided I didn't like it. I wanted a nice moisturizing manicure. I got crap. I am still trying to get my nails to look good weeks later. All the SNS was not taken off... my nails were uneven. Now my nails are super thin from all the filing. The place is a disorganized mess. They need to bring some order to the place. read more

Didn't even get anything done. I called before going to see if they were busy. The lady said come. Come. So I came and they were packed ! They didn't even greet me when I came in so I just signed the paper and sat down where I could find space. Then three other girls walk in and they are greeting them and saying hello what can they do blah blah. So I'm just like whatever. I left and went to obi nails on queen creek and gilbert. This place stinks just like the service!! I have tried them again and again hoping it would get better but NO! The wait is so long as a walk-in so I started making appointments which didn't help either. Still watied 30min and walked out! Pedicures are poor along with the massage. If you ask for one tech for the pedi/mani they now make you use one person for pedi and another for the mani. Why you ask...to get better tips! 105 outside and they have their doors open with NO air conditioning! Hotter than anything sweating and they think that's a nice atmosphere for their clients. Do they care about their customers NO only the cash in their pockets! My advice - don't go here try a salon or another place! Horrible!! read more

I have been going to Njoy pretty much since they opened! I have gone to a handful of other nail salons and always end up going back to Njoy because of the amazing service, great quality and overall fantastic experience I have each time. These ladies take their time with each individual customer and only offer the highest quality products! I have had so many of my friends and family members switch over to this salon and they've all loved it!! The insane amount of compliments I get anytime I get my nails redone because everyone is amazed at how long my nails last and how beautiful the job looks makes me keep going back to this fantastic salon!! 11/10 recommend this salon to anyone and everyone! I've gone to N'Joy quite a few times recently. I love their pedicures, eye brow waxing, and they have a great kids' pedi that includes art. For the 4th of July my girls' got red and blue toes with white stars. For back to school they got their school colors, red and black, with white flowers. They are also really sweet with my two year old that I keep next to me in her stroller. read more

Holly, the owner, is the best! Most owners can NOT multi-task (answer the phone, welcome customers in, and do nails), but Holly is truly the master! It doesn't matter how busy they are (...and they usually are!), she can do a back fill in less than an hour and they are perfect. In fact, I am one of those people who waits 3-4wks for a fill but they NEVER lift and I still get compliments on how great my nails look. Everyone's nails are different and some are harder on their nails than others but no matter what, if my nail breaks or gel chips (which has happened maybe twice in the 3 years I've been going there), Holly makes it a priority to fix it right away. read more

I seem to keep going back here because it is so close to my house. I have to say, it is not my favorite place to have my nails done though. I don't always feel like it is as clean as it can be. I guess it depends on who you have helping you. I am a total fanatic about this kind of stuff, especially when it comes to my nails! I would like it if they sanitized the foot tubs better before I sat down. I don't think that the quick wipe out they do really does anything and it freaks me out. I do always end up with a nice nail job and the price is decent, but I hesitate because of the sanitation. read more

Worst experience at a nail salon I've ever had. I've been in twice for pedicures, and both times left very unhappy. Had to go to another salon just to get my nails fixed from the horrible job that they did. Staff is very rude and unprofessional, and they rush through you and as a result you get a botched job. The nail tech literally SLAPPED my hand away when I was trying to explain to her where I wanted my flower to be painted on my toe. Not even try asking for any nail art because they can't do it, your leaving unhappy, and apparently you'll get slapped too! They need to have their license stripped and be shut down, seriously! No stars, that's how bad they are. Don't waste your time or hard earned money on this place. read more

My new stepmom took me here for a day of pampering. We did the mani-pedi treatment. We chose the middle price range. We walked in on a friday afternoon with no appointment and even though it was packed, we were helped right away. It was the best mani-pedi Ive ever had. I wish I could have picked up this place and brought it home with me. The massage chairs and the leg and hand massages were incredible. I love SNS nails and many salons say they can do them but then they fail miserably and on my most recent trial I went to NJoy. Not only was the staff courteous and friendly my nails look AMAZING! Holly did a terrific job! They also have a huge selection of SNS colors to choose from which is always a plus! I'm looking forward to heading back in a few weeks! read more

Usually great service. However the last time I was disappointed with person providing the service. She was not friendly and simply wanted to be finished without interaction. I could have handled that. However, i noticed the tools Sgt used on my hands were simply rinsed off, dried, and rebagged for the next client. This is unacceptable and not within my expectation and disinfecting the tools. I will no longer frequent this business. read more

This place is clean and I've enjoyed my gal- however, there are so many of them that when I finally found a girl I liked, I wanted to make appointments so that I ensured I'd get her. They don't do appointments well and can't seem to communicate when an appointment is made or changed. After having several times where they messed up but made me feel like it was my fault, I will go elsewhere...The time before yesterday, my gal showed up a half hour late because she was sick but no one told her she had an appointment and no one told me she wasn't well...If you are willing to take any one of the girls and don't really care as these places are used to, you'll be fine- but if you like having a regular person do your nails and like appointments I'd go somewhere else. They made me feel bad for being upset about their own scheduling mishaps-which is terrible customer service- And having read other reviews, this seems to be common at this salon. read more

After being ignored the entire time, I left and will NEVER go back. This is not the first time this has happened and I'm done with the terrible customer service. While I will always promote and recommend great businesses, I feel it's also important to share bad experiences and poor customer service. I made an appt for 11am on Sunday to get my nails done. I purposefully made an appt because I was having company over and needed to be seen on time. When I arrived I said I had an appt and asked/hoped they were ready for me. The receptionist said they were, to pick a color, and she'd get my nails soaking in acetone. To make a long story shorter and sparing some details, at 11:30 I calmly asked the receptionist if anyone would be able to see me soon as I had made an appt for 11. When she mentioned this to Holly, the owner, I could see Holly gesture wildly with her hands as if to say 'what can I do about it?' She never acknowledged me or came over to appease the situation. Meanwhile, I see someone arrive around 11:35 and immediately be brought over to a nail technician. (I guess this customer had specifically asked for a certain nail tech. So does this mean all other appts are not valid, if we don't ask for a certain nail tech???) Finally, at 11:40 (mind you, I had now been waiting for 40 minutes!) Holly comes over to quickly wipe the polish off of my nails, standing over me, in a hurry. I am one who will address situations as I think things can constructively be talked through, so when I mentioned to Holly about my seeing her hand gestures about my inquiry to the receptionist, she made the comment to me "What do you expect me to do? Drop everything for you?" I've been to Holly before, and have been a customer at N'Joy for years. I was so upset to be talked to in the manner that Holly did to me, and I was dumbfounded that she wouldn't understand how I might be curious as to what advantage it is to actually make an appt if it takes over 40 minutes to be seen. I wish I had videotaped the whole thing because people would have seen just how unwarranted Holly's reaction was to me. I wasn't making a stink, raising my voice, nor was I being unreasonable. I'm a business owner myself, and I've also been in the service industry for many years of my career. With customer service SO VERY IMPORTANT, Holly has lost my respect and my business. She could have so easily addressed the situation (I do understand 'things' happen) in a professional manner and kept me as a valued customer. Needless to say, at 1:00 I FINALLY got out of there. TWO HOURS AFTER MY APPT TIME!! They lost my business and if ever asked I'll be sure to share my experience with others. read more

I have been coming here for three years. They have the best pedicure-I get the N'Joy with callus remover, sugar foot scrub and massage. Delightful and my feet feel great afterwards. I also get my nails done. I currently have acrylic and love that they are low maintenance. I highly recommend N'Joy Nails. If you go on the weekend expect a wait. They do take appointments, but you may still wait 10 minutes. Everyone is great! read more

I came in for a pedicure on a Saturday mid afternoon and I completely expected it and understood it to be busy. I made my place in line and sat down and noticed the decor of the place was pretty nice. I did realize it was pretty hot and they had some fans blowing, but they really needed to just turn on the ac. I was waiting for about 20 minutes until the girl at the front desk told me I'll be up in just a few more minutes, 10 minutes later I'm in a pedi chair waiting for someone to help me. She turned on the water for me, but didn't actually turn on the machine itself so no bubbles or lights, just plain sitting warm water. And that's fine, but I waited there with my feet in lukewarm water for another 20 minutes and at this point I was ready to walk out. I gave them 10 more minutes so about an hour of waiting and a very unfriendly woman gave a half hearted apology and started working with me. She had no conversation with me and to be honest I felt like instead of a person I was just someone to pass through. I had the worst foot massage of my life with a ring on her finger. The woman next to me was also getting a callus removal and the technician kept putting the skin shavings on the ground and to me, that's just gross. I don't typically write reviews but felt compelled to do so so that hopefully they read it and change. Went in after work for a manicure before we left on vacation, so i was in a great mood and in vaca mode! First off, the technician (who by the way happened to be the manager) was on her phone for about 5 minutes, never asked me how I was doing or really even made eye contact. Once she got off her phone, I made the mistake of asking how her day was going and she proceeded to spend the entire time complaining to me about another customer. Now, I'm not one of her regulars that she's established a relationship with... I was a brand new customer. The rank went on for so long and then changed to another rank about something that frustrated her this weekend. I'm sorry, but I'm not your counselor... I'm paying YOU. I even went so far to hint to her by saying, we need to talk about something happier. It didn't work as she kept talking about this disrespectful customer. I understand everyone has a bad day and you can mention it, but it totally ruined my experience of getting my nails done, which I rarely do. The quality of the polish was ok but nothing amazing. And when I went to pay, she just yelled out $20 to the girl at the front- this was for a manicure with just polish, no gel, no acrylic, just polish and enough negativity to last me the rest of the year. Like I said, I'm not big on being critical of others, especially when they're doing something nice for me, but I left feeling sad, frustrated and annoyed which is not a great way to feel after I'm supposed to be getting pampered! read more

I came here for my first time since it was closer than my normal place and I went in for a quick polish change on my feet before going to a funeral. I took my daughter with me for the same. Two sets of toes to just be painted. The woman who did mine was incredibly rude and not personal. She ended up getting paint all over my toes and said it was because I had dry skin and I should just get a pedicure. I pointed out how I still had paint all over my skin and she laughed and asked if I wanted it removed off my skin. I said yes. She forcefully and rudely shoved my sandals (which were my dress sandals) back on my feet and in the process smeared the pink polish all over them. I then had to ask for her to correct them once again and she just huffed and put the polish again on them. Without any top coat or anything despite that the polish was totally off and it was back to bare nail with now pink stain not to mention that my sandals now have pink nail polish all over them. Absolutely awful. It was obvious that she was upset that we weren't getting more services. $25 for two polish changes ($10 for children and $15 for mine). One that will have to be corrected once I get home. Absolutely awful. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is a joke. read more

I went to get my eye brows waxed today and these people DOUBLE DIP the wax! That is just gross. I will not be going back to this place and it is just unsanitary and unprofessional. After talking to another guy who worked for a different salon he said some of the salons even save the wax that they put on your feet and reuse too. Oh GEEZ! read more
