I have been going to N'Joy for many years but the last few times the dip colors that they claim matches the regular nail polish do not. I am particular about that one thing and would like the color of my nails on my hand to match those in my feet. The ladies keep making excuses and it seems like they are not doing anything to fix this problem or identify the mismatch sets of nail polish. The CBD Volcano spa pedicure seems like a rip off too. Tonight they failed to paint the sides of my nails due to rushing me through. I always say I'm going to try a new place but bc of convenience and location come back. I have been a long time customer and the nail tech I mainly see is great. However, I recently had a very negative experience with another presumably nail tech, since I had never dealt with this individual before. As I was checking out at the desk, another nail tech came to the desk to check out her customer, and the tech abruptly jumped in front of me before I could check out then she asked if I was finished. I replied that I was still trying to check out; the nail tech literally aggressively snatched my bank card out of my hand and attempted to put card in machine, I then snatched my card back and told her I could do it. This incident left me feeling extremely disappointed. read more

You sit at a table by yourself with your hands 'soaking' in a teeny little glass dish of dirty, cold water while the staff run (literally) around working on multiple customers. The 'stations' are crammed everywhere, including next to the front door. Not a pleasant place and certainly not a relaxing environment. Feels more like a sweatshop. read more

I went here for first time to get full set because I had to be somewhere and it is closest to my house. The place I typically go to is another 10 minutes away. The pedi was ok. The nails were terrible. The woman was very rude and would not listen to me. I kept asking her to file down the nail, too thick and 2 of my nails were hurting. She just kept insisting it was fine and the shape was fine. I also asked for them to be shorter and she fought me on that too so my nails were these big thick things that were so unattractive. Maybe she was rushing because there were also people waiting but they turned out horrible. She also told me it was because my nailbeds were wide which is why they looked like that. Well they had never looked like that before. It's not like this was my first set in my life! I think I would know if they had ever been that way. After paying 124 for a full set and a pedi with tip (they also said their rates had just gone up as i was blindsided by the bill as well. I pay 20-40 less typically and the high end of that is really only if i upgrade my pedi or not so these rates were extremely high at this place) I was left completely disappointed and ended up having to go to my regular salon a few days later when I had the time and have it all redone. My salon asked if the person who did it was in training! Said the nails were already lifting, only after a couple days, and the product was so thick they had to start over! Didnt have to pay full price either. Which was certainly nice and helpful after getting gouged at the other salon. Not sure if its just that one woman who is not good at nails and also severely lacking in personal skills but never will I go back there. Based on how busy it was I'm hoping that means others are very good at what they do. But, considering this was my first time there and this was my experience, I won't return. Would have been nice to have a closer place to rely on. read more

I'm in town visiting and my BFF scheduled an appointment for us. This was the best manicure and pedicure I've had in a very long time! The pedicure wasn't just washing of the feet and painting nails. It included a very relaxing foot and leg massage. I did get the additional sugar scrub. The technician cut my toe nails just right. The gel manicure was perfect. No crooked nails! The French tip proportioned just right for my tiny nail bed and short nails. Next time I'm in town I will have a mani/pedi here! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely terrible pedicure. I didn't even let her finish. They charged me for a service I didn't not even have done. And the owner was just sitting there letting it happen. I just asked her to file them evenly and she told me it's too soft what the heck does that even mean. She didn't even use clean instruments and I asked for clean tools and was ignored. Come on N'Joy nails you can do better. I have been here before and everything was fine, but yesterday my husband and I made a 1pm appointment for a ped and a manicure (no polish)... simple, right ???? arrived 5 minutes early, was seated about 10 minutes later. they had a girl start on my husband right away, I waited with my feet in water for about an hour! someone came over and did my manicure while I sat there and she spent about 5 minutes. Then when I finally got my ped, just when she was finishing up she cut me on my toe! she was rushing. If they are so busy they cant do a nice job, dont accept walk in's or dont give the appointment. will not go back... $100 not well spent :( read more

Been here multiple times over the years and they always do a great job. They offer manicures as well as spa pedicures. They offer the new dip nail option (never tried that as yet). Excellent and friendly service, and they try and accommodate requests as best as they can. It has always been clean, and the technicians are all licensed. I used to only go to a very expensive place in Scottsdale due to lack of trust this place was really great! Very reasonably priced and they did great work! My nails are still looking great after a week and a half! For 65$ before tip, I got a full set, with a black bordered design and a Matt top coat! It's the lack of respect for other peoples time for me. I was excited for a fun relaxing pedicure with my sister and step mom but this experience was far from relaxing. We scheduled appointments in advance and arrived 10 minutes early. The appointments were scheduled for 1pm. It took them 20 minutes to seat us, and another 30 minutes for someone to actually start the pedicure. It was a below average pedicure and was completely rushed. My advice to this salon is to learn how to properly schedule appointments and be upfront and honest about the time commitment. I would rather them tell me they didn't have the time then to have to go through that again on my day off. read more

This was NOT a N Joy able visit. I selected a color for dipped nails. The color I selected looked nothing like the color that was applied. I kept questioning the Technician about the color as she applied it. She assured me it was the right color. Well when she finally compared the color she put on with the sample she and everyone around agreed the color did not match. There was no apology or compensation. To the owners and Manager of this establishment. Customer retention is an important part of a successful business. Let's see I generally spend about $80 pet visit every 2 to 3 weeks. That adds up to about $2000 a year. If you had offered some sort of apology or restitution I may have come back for my previous experience was better. But because you did not I will be shopping for another salon. There are many other choices in that area. read more

I went to this salon after hearing good things from a family friend. I was disappointed to say the least. I get SNS nails (dipping powder) and needed a fill. I explained to her I also wanted my cuticles cleaned up because they'd grown so much. After taking forever to file down the existing dipping powder, she pulls out a bowl for me to soak my cuticles in. Instead of letting me soak them for even 60 seconds she dips my hands in quickly and pulls them both out. This resulted in dry cuticles (obviously) so not only was it uncomfortable while she was trimming them, she cut me on my ring finger of my left hand which was the second to last finger she did. She'd already cut and filed so right after she cut my finger open she dabbed a cotton ball on it because it was bleeding, but she did it really fast, almost like it was an inconvenience to her that she'd cut me. As I'm still bleeding she started on the SNS process and actually DIPPED my finger in the powder with the open wound that was still bleeding. Like, what? Way to be hygienic. The entire time she was extremely rough with my fingers and I continuously bled. Each time it got bad she would just pat the paper towel on it once or twice, again, as if I was an inconvenience. When we neared the end of the process she went to put the gel top coat on and the blood had smeared up my ring finger just a small bit. Instead of cleaning this off she just painted right over the stained dipping powder, so if you look closely, you can see the blood smear under the gel. Super nasty. I checked my nails out and noticed two are noticeably crooked (one usually is, my nail grows that way but would like them to counteract it so it looks straight) and when the receptionist came over to ask how they came out I said "good but this one is crooked and she didn't fix it when I mentioned it" and she on cue goes "it looks fine. It's not crooked" even though like... it really is. I asked if I could wash my hands before she put cuticle oil on me because the dipping powder was everywhere and she (the nail tech) said "you can wash your hands when you're home" so I had to drive home getting the blue powder everywhere as I paid and drove. $45 later, two crooked nails, a blood stained nail, and my blood in one of their dipping powder containers. I will not be going back or recommending to anyone. read more

Customer service was good, but I cannot look past the fact that they have signs all over saying "masks required," and yet the owner does not seem to wear a mask or enforce it. While I was getting a pedicure I saw two other customers welcomed in by her without masks and serviced without masks. During these times I'll take my business somewhere that is a little safer. Salons are too tight and crowded to not enforce masks like they do. read more

I recently moved to the area. I needed to find a new nail salon so naturally I went to YELP. This salon is just down the street from me so I really wanted to like it. I was hesitant after reading the reviews but decided to form my own opinion because the reviews were not flattering. I am so glad I went. The place looked clean, the people I encountered were friendly. The young lady at the front desk was pleasant and was easy to communicate with. (We all know that can be a challenge in some of these places. ) HOPE did an excellent job. Pedicure, new set of nails, and eyebrow wax. Shhh lip too. She convinced me I needed it. Haha I was impressed by how many employees they had on a Thursday morning. I had an appt but you could easily walk in. They have a huge selection on nail colors too. I am so thankful I didn't let the YELP reviews stop me from trying them. I would recommend giving them a try. I will most certainly make this my new nail & pedi place. I've been a customer for years and really enjoy treating myself to a pedicure. I don't take time for myself like I should, so when I schedule an appointment, and I'm on time for that appointment, I don't appreciate wait 29 exact minutes to be seated. I was seared and continued to wait. Finally, I got out of the foot bath and prepared to leave. They said they could still get me in as my pedi would take 30 minutes. I do not want to be rushed and I expect longer than a 30 minute pedi. I no longer feel like a valued guest here. The place was packed.
