On a trip to ABQ, I came here for a late evening drink while waiting for a friend. Lost Cultures is…read morea fairly quick walk from Old Town and has a parking lot available if you drive over. There's quite a bit of indoor seating and I saw friends meeting up for a chat as well as people studying or reading by themselves; so it's a very multifunction bar/cafe. Service was very quick and when I had questions about the difference between the two matcha teas I was debating between, the barista actually brought out both matcha tins for me to look at the color and scent. Their menu has been updated to have 3 types of matcha available and sadly I didn't photograph it as the photos here are the previous matcha offerings. Both matcha powders are a fresh vibrant green and one smells more nutty/bitter (the one I opted for) vs the other that smells more sweet. Hot Matcha Tea 4/5, this was great and I got some agave syrup on the side if I wanted sweetener. Price wise this is $$ given the size of the tea Sea Salt Chocolate Cookie 4/5, this was a lovely dark chocolate bitter cookie that paired well with the sea salt and the tea

The staff are friendly and give great recommendations to try. The drinks are on the pricier side but you will definitely get a unique drink and taste. The chia tea was not really my cup of tea but it was a fun and different flavor to try. The refreshing drinks are so good any one of them you will enjoy and definitely find delicious! You have to go more than once that's for sure!

That said it's adorable and nicely decorated inside. You get a couple of hours with multiple courses in your own private room. They have recommendations for the tea pairings with the various courses but you can choose your own and there's one heck of a selection. The staff is knowledge and will give you recommendations on what (if anything) to add to your tea to really bring out the flavor as far as cream and sugar goes. We did the non-alcoholic service and the food and tea were both amazing. There was plenty of food in the three courses. They have limited ability to accommodate dietary needs, but were able to do this for just one member of our party without forcing the others that ad no restrictions to that particular menu item. It didn't matter though, it was all delicious. Anyway, this was an excellent experience and I highly recommend it.

We loved our little room that was just for us and every thing was so well thought out. I am also really excited they allow kids at certain times because my son has been asking to go.
