Price range would be between $9.99 and $29.99. The Salmon & Fava bean rice being the highest and the steak is about $27.99 comes with rice. They also have premade to/go dishes you can just heat up at home. From rice to other side dishes and desserts. Drinks are in a fridge (cans soda, water and juice). I got the kabob combo #3 with chicken and steak with rice $24.99. It was a little under seasoned for me because I like bold flavors and lots of spices. But that's just my preference. Nice presentation and plate. The space is well ventilated and not crowded. I came at 2pm ish in the afternoon so after the lunch rush and had a seat. It's a small and unassuming place but wow is the food good!! This is hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I've had in LA. We came in for a really fast dinner to catch a movie. You order at the front. We shared the roasted eggplant dip appetizer, which was phenomenal. Then we got the kabob combo and chicken kotlet sandwich. The meat was so tender and juicy. We already know this place is great so we ordered a family package #2 to bring to a dinner gathering of 8 over the phone 2 hours before pickup. 5 chicken and 5 beef kabobs with roasted tomatoes, salad, pita, and rice. They were really great with packing and helping us out to our car. It was a hit from 5 yr olds to the adults. We had leftovers yay no cooking tomorrow. Best Persian place I've been to! Don't let the casual atmosphere fool you. The food here is scrumptious. I'm a very picky eater especially when it comes to any kind of meat. I don't want it to be tough, gamey, chewy or dry. I want it to be succulent full of flavor and melt in my mouth like buttah. I ordered the chicken thigh skewers and it was all that. The saffron rice was also full of flavor. I can't wait to go back and try the cornish game hens I'm sure it won't disappoint. I was here on July 13, 2024 ... I had met a friend at Mashti Malone's (right next door) and he decided he wanted something more than the ice cream. We ended up going to Laziz AFTER the ice cream (we're adults - we can do that). I was surprised to find all the foods that were available in neat little to-go containers ... grab-n-go style. We sat down for a fresh meal then, both of us purchased foods to take home. I was THRILLED that they had Fesenjoon to go! (my favorite). They had torshi, rices - all your favorite Persian foods! The owner, a woman, was very friendly and helped us with our selections. This is a great place to grab your favorite foods to eat in the comfort of your home ... or just to grab a bite with a friend. I love how this place is literally around the corner! Great food at this spot and the portions are big! You can share a plate with another person literally. The Cornish hen was juicy and very flavorful. Be careful using your hands though cause they will stay yellow for a few hours from the seasoning they use on the chicken lol. I learned the hard way! The steak was also really good and flavorful. They came with some pita bread and butter. Put some butter on the pita bread and eat it with your chicken or steak and omg so good! They have a lot of other side dishes but we have yet to try them. Parking- street parking with meters or there 2 hour free parking on Glendon Ave right around the corner. What a beautiful fast and fresh Persian food restaurant. In the heart of "Tehrangeles" on Westwood Boulevard. It's sparkling clean inside and they are so nice. The sandwiches are fantastic and I really love the kebab. They also have fantastic tadik rice and they gave me one with fesenjan stew sauce on top. Also tried a really creamy and "Shalo Zard", a sweet saffron rice pudding made with rose water, saffron, almonds and without milk. Everything was so delicious and I'm definitely going to come back here; they also have fresh food all packaged to go. They are dishonest and rude pertaining to their own advertised prices and more. I ordered pomegranate soup advertised for $11.99 on their menu and 2 kotlet that was told to me would be $6 or $3 each. When I go to pay they charge me $12.99 and 6.99 and claim their menu price is wrong. I told them they have to honor their own advertised prices and trying to charge customers more would be illegal. They start to fuss and then claim it is an extra $3 for dining inside instead of take out but could not show me where they mentioned that in advance. Then they claim they don't want to argue and will give it to me at my own price. I said excuse me? This is your own advertised prices not mine. Then they attempted to charge an extra $100 on my credit card claiming it was a mistake done in error. Don't be fooled by these dishonest people and best to avoid them entirely. Bad experience on a rather already upsetting day of street protests. read more

Stopped in tonight with SO for dinner..this is the best Persian food that I've had on my many trips to LA. I lived in Iran for several years but live on the East Coast now (where there is a vast void in Persian dining, at least in my State) so I enjoy coming to LA where there are many Persian restaurants to try out. The shop is small with just a few tables and a deli case with the menu over on the wall of the deli case. Don't let this fool you. When you order the food, it comes out piping hot AND tasty! Some of the best koobideh I've had in a very long time! Ashe Reshte soup was yummy, as was the Mast O'khiar and the Dolma. If I was going to knock off any star, it would be for the bread. One day, I'm determined to find that Persian restaurant that makes their own Barbari bread. Until then, do yourself a favor and go to Laziz Grill. The delightful women (who appear to own the grill and cook the food themselves) were so nice and the food was even better! I will definitely be back! read more

I briefly chatted with the owner, a sweet lady from the north of Iran, who prepares a variety of authentic Persian dishes inspired by northern flavors, available for both dine-in and takeout. The service was warm and welcoming. Honestly, the taste and quality were superior to some of the more well-known Persian restaurants nearby, with much better flavor and lower prices. I am new to both Iranian Cuisine and Los Angeles, and I stumbled across this place while wandering down Westwood. Decided to check it out, as trying new cuisines was on my bucket list for my LA vacation. I got a couple of items to go, and took them back to where I was staying. Everything I tried was absolutey delicious! I also liked that the packaging was sturdy, and it held up to both a bumpy bus ride, and sitting in the fridge for a couple of days. I love the fact that they serve Kosher meats and have flexible hours. Many Kosher establishments have limited hours naturally due to religious observing. The "Soltani" dish is a skewer of Barg and Koobideh....the Barg was very tender and juicy and beautifully seasoned. The lamb chunks were of generous size and well bbq'd. The Koobideh I found quite tough and dry and after the second bite it was hard to swallow down. The Safron rice was great. It had been steamed just the right amount of time for it to stretch like Basmati rice should and it paired well with the Lamb. The Shallot yogurt I also enjoyed very much...it was creamy and the texture was thick like a traditional Persian "mast moosir" is known for, and the amount of shallot used was also spot on....too little or too much would indicate a lesser quality which this one was not. It tasted great! Unfortunately, the "Ghormeh Sabzi" I did not like. It hadn't settled enough and both the beef chunks and the beans were too tough like they needed to stew more with time. This was also indicative of the "limoo amani" - which plays a big role in this particular stew but overall, the taste didn't hit the mark for me. read more

I love this spot! I haven't got a a chance to go in, sit down and dine, but I had a chance to do a takeout from their menu couple of times. I'm Persian and I can find pretty much any persian food from their menu. The best part is the fact that they have already cooked meals that comes in the plastic containers and you can get bunch of them for the week. This grill was inside the Super Sun Market (across Pink Orchid). At the end of 2021, they closed shop. I was very sad because the food was so consistent, affordable, fresh, and generously portioned. Now in March 2022, I have visited the new stand alone location. I want to be happy they didn't vanish and even HAPPIER that their small Business is growing with their own ship now.
