My first time coming here, what a treat. I passed by for months I'm so glad I finally came in. The owner was incredibly kind to me and very welcoming. The fresh naan bread is INCREDIBLE. Best I've tasted anywhere in LA so far. Even on its own the bread makes the meal worth it. I definitely would come with an empty stomach because the portion size is amazing. Loved looking at the beautiful paintings they have on the wall while I waited too. Would definitely come again to experience another dish.

Always passed by this place and finally got to try it today! I got the chicken bowl and the portions are huge! The chicken wasn't dry at all, it was pretty juicy and well cooked. They also gave me a side of bread. The manager (I think) was really kind when taking my order and even helped me wrap my leftover bread for me. I'm curious to try their pizza next time!

Arrived a bit close to closing time around 8 pm. Ordered the beef kebab plate which came with rice, beef kebab and salad with yogurt dill dip. Came out to about $22 including tip. The portion sizes here are massive and the food tasted delicious. The beef kebab was well seasoned and the yogurt dip was delicious and paired well with the kebab. The owner was kind enough to let my friends and I stay a little past closing time to finish our food. Would highly recommend!

Naan Hut is one of the many Persian restaurants you'll find in West LA. They bake fresh sangak bread daily with their oven - their sangak is chewy and fragrant. They have grocery staples and packed ready-to-heat entrees that make for quick weeknight meals. The hospitality is so open and welcoming. The owner even made off-menu drink (fresh mint tea + cardamom sugar) for my friend. It's been one of my favorite spots in the area to walk and enjoy a delicious dinner. There's various parking options: street park, nearby lot, neighborhood. There is no public restroom, just FYI. For the food: Delicious and flavorful with herbs. Love that the ingredients shine through and not overly salty! What we ordered: - Ash'e Reshteh (my favorite dish) - Beef Koobideh Kabob - Gormeh Sabzi Stew - Sangak Bread (must have)

This place is amazing! The food is so delicious especially the kaleh pacheh, it was incredible and the vibe is perfect. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

We had a great time here, came with a group of 12 friends and everyone was happy with their food choices. Must def try the kaleh pache, persian omlet and koobideh.

Really enjoyed my visit to Naan hut. Naan Hut is located on Santa Monica blvd. The streets are busy but you should have no problem finding parking when you visit. When you walk in, you noticed how clean and bright the restaurant is. It's a comfortable space and has lots of seats. You can walk up and order your food and choose your seating throughout the restaurant. I ordered the beef wrap which came with a side salad. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. The portion sizes are great and I had enough to save for later as well. Service was super nice and quick. We had no issues ordering and the menu had a good amount of items. I will definitely be back!

Very delicious food and atmosphere, all the products are fresh and eco-friendly. I highly recommend visiting this tasty establishment.

I love this place! The customer service and quality of food is amazing. Top 3 best bread I've had in my life

Mold in sangak bread by Naan Hut (Santa Monica)

They used to have a descent quality. But it is not the case any more. Yesterday we got a Sangak from there and when we got home we saw a big mold in it (see pic). Not sure for how long they keep their stuff.

This place serves delicious Persian breakfast, and I had the chance to try the Omelette and the Mirza Ghasemi (eggplant with egg and garlic). Both dishes were absolutely delightful and came with freshly baked Sangak bread on the side. The omelette instantly reminded me of my dad's tomato omelettes growing up, especially when paired with Persian pickles. I'll definitely have to come back to try the Kalleh Pacheh next time!

A great lunch!! Healthy, Balanced & Delicious!

Not…read more"pretty good for takeout," not "good on a lucky day," just genuinely solid every single time. This time, I went with the Anwar Style Chicken Shawarma to try something new. The portion size alone is impressive. The container is packed and feels substantial the moment you pick it up. The base is a bed of fries, and these are not just filler. They are thick, well seasoned, and sturdy enough to handle all the toppings without turning into a soggy mess. On top of the fries is a generous amount of chicken. The chicken tastes freshly cooked, with that warm, savory flavor you expect from good shawarma, never dry and never overly salty. There are pita chips mixed in, which add a great crunch and texture against the fries and chicken. Multiple sauces are drizzled throughout the dish. I chose a side of their spicy sauce. The creamy white sauce balances things out, while the orange sauce brings a mild heat and a little extra depth. None of the sauces overpower the dish, they work together to coat everything evenly and keep every bite flavorful. Diced tomatoes and corn adds a touch of sweetness that surprisingly works really well here. A sprinkle of herbs throughout helps brighten everything up and keeps the dish from feeling too heavy, even though it is definitely filling. This is comfort food done right. It is messy in the best way, packed with flavor, at least to me it was. If you are looking for something hearty, satisfying, and consistently well made, I will always recommend Anwar's Kitchen. Anwar's Kitchen delivers quality food, and I will keep ordering from them.

My head is thinking "calm down--we ate minimally and got drinks. Don't offer it if you're going to have an attitude about adjusting the bill". It was just weird. They also didn't offer any bday dessert treat but we weren't super pressed bc we were so full. The meat was a bit overdone and all kind of tasted the same this visit. Didn't get to try the lamb chops and a few other meats, but still has a nice variety. Salad bar is top notch and consistent, although wish their black beans were plain due to all the meat. In order of serving.... Trout crudo - great way to start the evening. Fresh raw trout in a citrus broth. We both marveled at the flavor. Wanted some bread to sop up the jus. Chicken liver pate - i spotted this early and no doubt we were going to order. The pate was served with thick bread and a honey pomegranate jam. That pate... three days later and I cant stop thinking about it. So rich and flavorful. My son loved the jam, but the pate spread on the bread, omg, so friggin good. Next up was the grilled kholrabi. This was on the house. Not something we would have ordered, but we would have missed out on a great dish. Kholrabi reminded me of well cooked onion... soft and sweet. This was served with a tzadiki that added the acid that the dish needed. Amazing. Next up, oyster mushrooms. Nicely cooked, spongy and tasty. The prawns were the last of our savories. Six well grilled whole prawns. The harissa added a degree of spice. To cool the dish, a cucumber tzadiki that really set the dish. What an explosion of spice and cool. We were going to be done but I spied the nougat ice cream bar on the menu. We ordered one to split and OMG what a fantastic finish to an amazing meal. We had amazing service to help us through the meal. Sad that I live 2000 miles from LA. I'm sure my son will be back soon and I'll be jealous. Ready to book my next trip west!

I feel in American restaurants, fish is just cooked in a way that makes it just taste ok. The seasoning and spices were on point. Great flavors, the right amount of heat, and something you can't really get elsewhere. My main issue was the quality of meat. Since this is supposed to be an affordable lunch spot, the meat was lower quality and really hindered the dishes. Too much fat, too much skin, too much gristle. I would love to see these spices on higher quality meat, that to me would be a 5/5.
