Beef Kabob Plate
Tiffany H.

Arrived a bit close to closing time around 8 pm. Ordered the beef kebab plate which came with rice, beef kebab and salad with yogurt dill dip. Came out to about $22 including tip. The portion sizes here are massive and the food tasted delicious. The beef kebab was well seasoned and the yogurt dip was delicious and paired well with the kebab. The owner was kind enough to let my friends and I stay a little past closing time to finish our food. Would highly recommend!

Koobide Kabob, Ash Reshteh, Ghorme Sabzi, Sangak Bread

Naan Hut is one of the many Persian restaurants you'll find in West LA. They bake fresh sangak bread daily with their oven - their sangak is chewy and fragrant. They have grocery staples and packed ready-to-heat entrees that make for quick weeknight meals. The hospitality is so open and welcoming. The owner even made off-menu drink (fresh mint tea + cardamom sugar) for my friend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's been one of my favorite spots in the area to walk and enjoy a delicious dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's various parking options: street park, nearby lot, neighborhood. There is no public restroom, just FYI. For the food: Delicious and flavorful with herbs. Love that the ingredients shine through and not overly salty! What we ordered: - Ash'e Reshteh (my favorite dish) - Beef Koobideh Kabob - Gormeh Sabzi Stew - Sangak Bread (must have)

Chicken Kabob Bowl

Always passed by this place and finally got to try it today! I got the chicken bowl and the portions are huge! The chicken wasn't dry at all, it was pretty juicy and well cooked. They also gave me a side of bread. The manager (I think) was really kind when taking my order and even helped me wrap my leftover bread for me. I'm curious to try their pizza next time!

My first time coming here, what a treat. I passed by for months I'm so glad I finally came in. The owner was incredibly kind to me and very welcoming. The fresh naan bread is INCREDIBLE. Best I've tasted anywhere in LA so far. Even on its own the bread makes the meal worth it. I definitely would come with an empty stomach because the portion size is amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved looking at the beautiful paintings they have on the wall while I waited too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely come again to experience another dish.

This place is amazing! The food is so delicious especially the kaleh pacheh, it was incredible and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibe is perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Really enjoyed my visit to Naan hut. Naan Hut is located on Santa Monica blvd. The streets are busy but you should have no problem finding parking when you visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in, you noticed how clean and bright the restaurant is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a comfortable space and has lots of seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can walk up and order your food and choose your seating throughout the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the beef wrap which came with a side salad. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. The portion sizes are great and I had enough to save for later as well. Service was super nice and quick. We had no issues ordering and the menu had a good amount of items. I will definitely be back!

We had a great time here, came with a group of 12 friends and everyone was happy with their food choices. Must def try the kaleh pache, persian omlet and koobideh.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very delicious food and atmosphere, all the products are fresh and eco-friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend visiting this tasty establishment.

Our food is gone so I couldn't take a picture of it. The best bread I've ever had, top 3!!! Delicious!

I love this place! The customer service and quality of food is amazing. Top 3 best bread I've had in my life

Omelet with Sangak
Ramtin K.

This place serves delicious Persian breakfast, and I had the chance to try the Omelette and the Mirza Ghasemi (eggplant with egg and garlic). Both dishes were absolutely delightful and came with freshly baked Sangak bread on the side. The omelette instantly reminded me of my dad's tomato omelettes growing up, especially when paired with Persian pickles. I'll definitely have to come back to try the Kalleh Pacheh next time!

A great lunch!! Healthy, Balanced & Delicious!
Lida M.

We just had the best healthy & balanced Persian lunch at Naan Hut! Koobideh Kababs, rice, salad & veggies complete with Doogh and Pepsi ! Loved the place. It could easily be a 5 star for food, great portions and value! [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, they get 4 stars because of not providing a bathroom to wash your hands or use the toilet[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is kind of a fast food place so no ambiance is expected.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great. Please leave a tip in the jar! I can't wait to return. They also sell delicious hot Persian breads: sangak & barbari! They also have halim which I bought some to go!

Mirsa ghasemi - roasted eggplant Mix this with the smashed green olives on your babari flat and yes! The tomato Persian cucumber salad was also refreshing, wth great flavors and crunch. Turmeric Braised Chicken - The dish was a bit on the basic end, not a lot of seasoning but you could taste the tumeric. Chicken was tender but slightly on the drier side which was a bit surprising considering it was dark meat (6.5/10) Kofteh Tabrizi - The tomato taste was prominent in the broth but the meatball itself was overly salty. The flavor was one note, I can't see myself ordering this again as I've heard this dish should have more complex flavors so I was disappointed (5.5/10) Kotlet Plate - As you can see from my picture, the kotlet was burnt beyond repair and I could taste the bitterness from the overused oil they used to fry it. I did like the yogurt spread and the pickles that came with it but I did not like the kotlet at all. We didn't bother asking them to replace it (4/10) Mirza Ghasemi w/ Barbari bread - The star of this whole experience was the Mirza Ghasemi, the roasted eggplant and tomato spread came cold and it was the most delicious thing we had. One of my friends vacuumed it right up before the rest of us could have seconds. Bread was a bit dry but it was a great vehicle for the Mirza (8.5/10) Lamb Gheimeh - Lamb was tender and it had some nice spices infused in there but it didn't wow me in any way (7/10) Sholezard - Our waitress brought over some complimentary Ceylon tea with the Sholezard which was kind. This rice dessert was not too sweet. The warmth and saffron ended our meal in a comforting way. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again (7/10) +1 star for the service

I finally had the chance to stop in for a solo early dinner, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the Lule Kabob Combo ($22), which included skewers of minced beef and chicken, rice, veggies, pita, hummus, and a side salad. The highlights of the meal were definitely the salad and the grilled tomato; the pomegranate seeds in the rice were also a nice touch. However, the meats weren't to my taste--the chicken had an odd aftertaste, and while the beef was better, neither really worked for me. Adding the provided sumac and lemon helped, but I wouldn't order the kebabs again. Additionally, the hummus lacked creaminess, and the pita tasted like it was mass-produced rather than fresh. On the positive side, the portion sizes are very generous for the price point, and I left feeling full. I also have to mention that the patio is adorable and very "Instagrammable," so it's a great spot if you're looking for a photo-friendly environment. A quick note for future visitors: they are currently having issues with their card reader and are requesting cash or Zelle. It felt a little unusual to be rung up on a register only to pay via Zelle, but it wasn't a major deal. While I appreciated the atmosphere and value, the food itself just wasn't for me, so I likely won't be returning.

All the meat whether chicken, salmon or beef comes out perfectly juicy and flavorful. Just wish things weren't so expensive. They do add an extra $3 for salad, which isn't preposterous but not worth it in my opinion. Also they certainly do pile on the rice inside!! Yummmm. And I'll gladly eat their roasted tomatoes anytime. This restaurant was quiet and I gladly filled a cup of ice water by the entrance, plopped on a bench and waited less than 15 minutes for 2 plates. The cashier even brought it over to me rather than calling out; a small but meaningful impact of service. This is a new review on an old favorite of mine. Glad to reunite again Taste of Tehran!

Unfortunately, I will not be coming back. My family and I went here one afternoon and as we sat down, the attendant from the restaurant told us that the specific table we were sitting on wasn't part of the restaurant and we were not going to be served if we sat there in a very rude tone. We went ahead and moved. Then we went up to the cashier to order our food and the two people that were there were busy talking to each other in farsi about a customer that just came and didn't tip along with some very vulgar language. Then as we were ordering, we told them it was our first time and we got no smile or anything, very still faces like whatever. We ordered two Koobideh wraps and a few other things. It was very uncomfortable. The Cashier didn't even speak to us. As we sat down we were "served" after we HAD to ask if we get bread and onions and water because we saw that they were taking those things to other tables. The Koobideh wrap tasted like Rubber and you could barely hold it together as it was drenched with the sauce and all soggy. Even my 1 year old wouldn't eat it. We had to open up the sandwiches and eat them with a fork. It was not a good experience. Tip for the owner: You should probably remind your employees that some of your customers are Persian and they will understand them talking shit.
