I tipped $1 and so my meal was approximately $17. My food came our fairly quickly! I'd say I waited less than 5 minutes. I'm thinking that perhaps this was one of the most ordered combos and they had some tikka masala already prepared. I sat down and began to eat dinner. I first tasted the chicken tikka masala and was disappointed that the flavors were just not there. It lacked more spices and it was not that tasty and rather bland. I tore into my Naan bread and immediately noticed the bread was a bit tough to tear. I dipped it into the tikka masala sauce and tried the Naan and it was indeed tough. It tasted a bit stale. Cumin, green chilis, ginger, garlic, tomatoes and coriander are key to the flavor of the dish. There was a good amount of fish but the container is really small (palm size). I didn't order any rice or naan because I just wanted a protein dominant meal. I also tried the KUNA $13.49 lamb shank stew. If you order to go, the broth comes separate for easier transport. My lamb was nicely tenderized and provided the perfect amount of protein to supplement my meal. It is a little on the pricey side I think but food court prices are not cheap and if you're trying to stick to pure protein, this is the way to go. As you can see by my photos I've been here half a dozen times and it's always Chicken Tikka Masala, Rice, Naan Combo, with Mango Lassi upgrade! Ha! The combo runs about $12 and includes water or a fountain soda. Mango Lassi discounted at $2 with the combo. I'm like Groundhog Day always ordering exactly the same thing here, but next time I'll be sure to avoid the Mango Lassi 'cause the past few I've been sitting on the Indian throne at night. Mmk In the end, I'm sure I'll be back to Naan -N- Curry if hankering for Indian food in the suburbs. Probably stop being a predictable Groundhog and order something different. You see what you get. Naan-N-Curry is one of the first places you see on the left when you enter the mall. When I got there, they looked like they were still setting up as it was pretty early. I wasn't super impressed by what I saw but the cheap prices convinced me otherwise. I ordered the Vegetable Biryani and two samosas. It took about 15 minutes. The staff looked like they were serving 20 to life, but having worked in food service, I can't really blame them. The food itself was okay. I give it a solid 78/100. I got a good serving of the Vegetable Biryani, served in a Chinese takeout box. The rice was good and buttery, but lacked the flagrant and slightly fluffy quality of others I've had. My one big complaint is that whole chunks of bell pepper and potato were cut fairly rough. Being bigger than everything around them, they were more oily and didn't cook through as well as everything else. That being said, the flavor is decent and I would probably order it again. The samosas, on the other hand, lacked flavor and were too doughy. They taste very similar to store bought ones I've had in the past. I do not recommend these. read more

I used to get the vindaloo curry all the time when I was in college, and it was one of my favorites. During my last trip up, we were shopping at Nordstrom Rack. We got hungry and saw there was a Naan-N-Curry at the neighboring mall's food court, so we had to go! I got the vindaloo combo and upgraded my naan to paneer naan. It was almost $20 with a small tip to the guys. My meal was good and extremely filling, but there were only three smalls pieces of bone-in chicken in my curry, so there wasn't much meat to speak of for the price. Also, I remember the curry being really spicy, to the point where I had to stop and take breathers. This time, there was barely any heat at all, so that was disappointing. I used to work at the Serramonte Mall several years ago and one of my favorite spots to get lunch was Naan N Curry. It's been a while since I came here but I usually get the lamb curry but today I decided to try something different. This review is based off of my experience from eating the Lamb Shank Combo. This meal includes lamb shank, rice, soda or water (I chose orange soda), and naan (which I upgraded to garlic naan for an extra $1). The total for this meal was $18.40 including tax. If you ask me for the quality it was overpriced. However I will say it did satisfy my Indian food craving. The lamb was a decent size however it lacked in flavor. Instead of having that gamey flavor it tasted more bland. My favorite part of the dish was the garlic naan. It serves as a great vessel for the e lamb meat and I love dipping it into the sauce. The rice does a good job soaking up any excess sauce as well. To wash the food down with my orange soda was a great way to end the meal. When I go back I don't think I'll be getting the Lamb Shank Combo anymore. Mainly because I like the lamb curry overall price wise and taste wise better. The service was quick and even though there was a line I still got my food fast. There's plenty of seating in the food court but can fill up quickly during peak hours. There's parking right outside the food court as well which makes this place easily accessible. read more

Don't sleep on this place! The food here is jam packed with flavor. Probably the best tandoori chicken I've ever had. The chicken is so tender and juicy despite it being breast.
