I've always passed Good Stubs Market, but never went inside. I thought trying it out on DoorDash would be good since I wanted to know what their menu had and I stumbled upon their chicken wrap! I was also watching another food video the other day that had Sambusas, so I was surprised they had it there. So the first time I tried ordering at this store, my order was cancelled. Probably either they ran out of something or they were unable to serve food. I was like dang :( ok whatever. I tried ordering again and thankfully my order went through! I was so excited to try both the chicken wrap and the Sambusa. REVIEW OF EACH ITEM: -Chicken Wrap: I REALLY LOVE how flavorful this was. I really enjoyed the Malawah bread because it was thin enough to hold it as a wrap, but also flakey with a nice chew. I really loved the flavors of this wrap - it was savory, spicy, garlicky, sour, etc. It was just so balanced of a wrap and that first bite was yummy!! -Sambusa: I only got 1 to try out, but it was good! It was a bit small, the outer layer was a bit dry, but the filling was very flavorful. I think I should have gotten a few of them to have as a snack, but maybe next time I'll get a few more. I'll definitely be ordering that wrap again!! It was delicious and SO filling.

The baklava is delicious! The employees and service are great! The menu of sandwiches looks delicious and I look forward trying them some day.

Lowkey deli market with awesome sandwiches and wraps! - chicken wrap - chicken is cooked to order and takes about 10 minutes but it was so tender and juicy!! Well worth the wait. I also loved their in-house mulawah bread which was soft and pillowy but holds up with all the sauces and chicken juices. 10/10 - would get this again! - San Francisco special but switched to Dutch crunch - the sandwich was very well done. Good ratio of meats to veggie to bread to sauce. I love that the sandwich was full of flavor without being drenched in sauce. The Dutch crunch was amazing. I actually had this the next day and the bread held up so well after a quick toast in the oven. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Definitely heading back to this spot soon!

We've been wanting to try their sandwiches because the last time we dropped by, it was some special holiday like Ramadan and they were closed for 1 hr. It just so happened it was the very hour we wanted a sandwich. So thankfully this time, they were open. You can park at the 15 minute green zone in front if you are grabbing a sandwich or something at their store. The zone fits about 3 cars. It's a little grocery store with halal dry goods and food. We took a glance at the menu and decided to order 2 sandwiches and both of us would take 1/2 of each. Service was friendly. This spot has a few tables and chairs outside in case you want to eat it there. We opted to eat in the car because it was so cold out! ***OUR PICKS*** #4 THE BUFF PORTILLO ~ hot pastrami, honey roasted turkey, provolone, pepper jack, good subs garlic spread, spicy aioli, lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeños on a Dutch crunch roll. A bit spicy, but just a few slices of meat. The bread wasn't crunchy as we had hoped it would be. It was more chewy than crispy. It was a good sandwich but I've had better. My guy wasn't impressed and gave it a 3.5 for food. 3.5/5 #6 POPS SPECIAL ~ good subs chicken, turkey bacon, pepper jack, Swiss cheese, good subs garlic spread, pesto aioli, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles on a Dutch crunch roll. I enjoyed the house made chicken that was not processed. It took a little longer but I'm glad it's healthier, quality meat. It was a bit juicier and messier to eat due to the sauces in the sandwich. The Dutch crunch was chewy and not crisped up. Still good, but could have been better if the bread was lighter and crispier. 4/5 Grocery store is filled with plenty of halal spices, seasonings, products, desserts...etc. It was interesting to browse through while waiting for our sandwiches. Some items are reasonably priced too.

Halal meats and more at Good Subs Market. 15 minutes parking in front of the shop that during my visit had a steady stream of customers. My order, Pops Special Sandwich (Halal Chicken prepared at time of order, about 12 minutes) minus the pickles. The market offers Halal Meats, a mix of Sandwich's, Groceries, and Sweets like Baklava. The staff were friendly, and while my sandwich was being prepared I relaxed outside seated at one of the tables. My Sandwich was tasty, and generous. I will happily come back.

The other day I had a chance to try a sandwich from Good Subs Market. I ordered the SF Special on Dutch Crunch. It was meaty, neatly made, and delicious! Good Subs Market beats anything Subway Sandwiches can offer. (Yes, I tried that Subway a few doors away). Also, the market has a fresh meat counter. Various dry goods, drinks, cookies, and other Middle Eastern items. Clerk was very friendly, and joked around. 30-min green zone right in front of business. So, drop by and try their sandwiches. Tables available outside on sidewalk. That high Yelp score is legit!

GOOD SUBS MARKET is a little Middle Eastern dry goods market at 7622 ECR in Colma, across from Star Smog Depot, where you find a selection of Middle Eastern pantry goods, great assortment of cheeses and yogurts, breads, jar and canned foods. As well as a beautifully curated butcher selection of chicken and beef. The big secret to this market is their small but mighty Halal deli counter! You're greeted once you set foot in the small market. Head to the deli counter, scan the menu, place your sandwich/wrap order, pick out any scrumptious baklava desserts & treats, check out the pantry goods while you wait, and pay for all at the counter. Sandwiches and wraps take a good 12-15 minutes wait but oh-so-worth-it! Saif recommended the GOOD SUBS CHICKEN WRAP w/halal chicken, Good Subs spicy aioli, pesto aioli, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, jalapeños, cheese, and House Mulawah Bread (Yemeni flatbread). This was a WOWEE, HOLY COW! diligently, lovingly handcrafted chicken wrap! Don't know how much was the wonderful new-to-me Mulawah Bread, the meticulously, well-built wrap of fresh ingredients but it came together in a fireworks of flavor! I've been back since first visit but, warning, CANNOT get past the GOOD SUBS CHICKEN WRAP W/MULAWAH BREAD!!!! Addictive! Maybe work your way down the menu and save GSCW for last. That said, my next attempt will hopefully be the POPS SPECIAL, SAN FRANCISCO SPECIAL, ROAST BEEF WRAP, or BROTHERLY LOVE!

Good Subs definitely has potential but there are a few components that are missing that fit my preferences for sandwiches. Good subs chicken wrap- the chicken was cooked perfectly but even though I ordered the wrap with extra garlic sauce, it was super bland. There was no depth in flavor and though the cheese was perfectly melted, the wrap felt one dimensional. The wrap was perfectly toasted and held together well. Pops special on dutch crunch- I order it with extra aioli and garlic spread and again, it was super bland. The turkey bacon was on the drier side and the overall sandwich lacked flavor. I do prefer flavorful and saucier sandwiches, so maybe if you like less saucy sandwiches this place may peak your interest. Quality of ingredients are good.

Staff working there provided friendly service! I will say, we did have to wait almost 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches with only us two in the market! I will not take any stars off because it seems like they had a couple of call in orders too! We literally had this place 2 days in a row, and will probably be back next week! so yummy and a gem to our community! There isn't a place to sit per se, but around the corner there are benches! The shop is actually a market that sells a bunch of snacks and dry goods! It's a vibe ~~ Our order: Dutch Crunch, Good Subs Chicken, spicy/pesto aioli + garlic spread, American, lettuce, onion FIREEEEEE, simple but so yummy! Just look at the pic haha

First impressions- Clean, well stocked, smartly organized, and low key friendly service. There's a convenient 15 minute customer parking spot right outside. Solid sandwiches: -Sam's Mighty Sub (Dutch crunch) -Brotherly Love (Sweet roll) -Pops Special (Dutch crunch) *solid, well proportioned, flavorful, and quality ingredients The rest of the shop showcases high quality Middle Eastern finds and flavors. I'm looking forward to my next visit for more sandwiches and market finds. What an added gem to the area.

The chicken wrap is so delicious!!! It's packed with flavor and the aioli sauces with the jalapeños gives it the perfect spicy kick. Cheese pull in every bite and their in house flatbread/wrap is to die for. I called in to order and they were very honest about how long the wait would be which I appreciated. So just keep in mind they're becoming busy so best to call ahead. Aside from their wraps and sandwiches, it is a grocery/convenience mart with exported goods as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful, I will definitely be coming back.

Needed something to fix my sandwich crave. Stumbled upon this little hidden gem after leaving the gym. Sandwiches did not disappoint and were really well prepared. Definitely a hit and definitely probably my new go to place when in need of a fast sandwich. From the moment I walked in to this establishment, I felt the patience and love they incorporate into the food. I'll be back again soon!

Honestly, they taste even better when you haven't had them in a while. I love their pastrami sandwich on Dutch crunch bread. It actually tastes better the next day after microwaving it for a bit and popping it into the air fryer for that extra crispiness.

U P D A T E : We…read morewanted another sandwich from New Daly City Market because the last one was really good and memorable. This grocery/convenience store has your typical products you would see, like liquor, sodas, snacks, i.e., candy, chips, ice cream, but they even sell things like shampoo, cold/flu meds and lottery tickets! The store may have what you need so you won't have to run to Target, Walgreens or CVS. They don't have music or a tv in the background; it's quiet and peaceful. We noticed this because it was Super Bowl Sunday and they don't have a tv, so we had to go online to check the score. *** OUR PICKS*** RIB EYE STEAK SANDWICH W/SWISS CHEESE ON DUTCH CRUNCH ~ While ordering this, I told myself, this is gonna be GREAT! I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into this sandwich! But when I took a bite, all I could taste was salt?! I'm not sure if the steak was over seasoned or the Swiss cheese made it salty from being cooked, but I've never had that happen when making a sandwich at home. Since there's no place to eat it at the store, we took it home and tried adding more lettuce and avocado to offset the saltiness, but even that didn't help. By the end of the day, I couldn't get my ring off my finger! It was swollen from the amount of salt in the sandwich because that's the only thing I ate. I drank lots of water, but I became bloated. Next time, I'll nix the cheese and order another kind of sandwich and hopefully have a better experience. 3/5 ROAST BEEF & PASTRAMI W/PROVOLONE CHEESE ON DUTCH CRUNCH ~ this was better than the steak sandwich. My guy had this one. It was salty, but it didn't overpower my tastebuds or the sandwich. I only took a bite to try. 4/5 While jalapeño peppers and pepperoncini are sour, spicy and salty, the meat shouldn't be overwhelmingly salty too then the whole sandwich wouldn't be pleasant to eat. There needs to be something bland to balance it. Now in this steak sandwich, I didn't even add jalapeños or pepperoncini. I only had pickles, onions, lettuce, tomatoes. Yet the salt cut through it all and hit me. I believe someone got overzealous with the salt shaker not realizing it was too much. Of course, the customer finds out after taking a bite! Though I think there should be some quality control in making sure it's done right. Maybe taste testing should be a thing. We may come around again and give them another shot. We really enjoyed it the first time and we were hoping for a repeat, but disappointingly, it didn't go as planned.

After looking through their massive menu, I decided to get the tri tip special on Dutch crunch. It took another 18 minutes to get back to the hotel but once I unwrapped this behemoth of a sandwich, I didn't know what I was getting into because this was literally the largest sandwich ever have ever had in my life. I had to tap out 2/3 way through the first half of the sandwich because I could not eat anymore. Usually when you go to places that are known for their portion size, the food ends up being mid. Little Luca though backed it up with quality ingredients. As for the 1/2 half of my sandwich, I once again could not finish it all as I was chowing down while driving through Gilroy. On a random weekday afternoon around 3pm, I decided to walk here and holy cow it was packed! The place is very small so you kinda have to snake around in a tiny line. I ordered a tuna avocado sandwich, an ultimate, a pastrami, and a turkey. The tuna avocado was amazing! So juicy and they gave two huge spoonfuls. The turkey was so thick and juicy. I can see why this is rated #1. The ultimate was amazing as well. The pastrami I did not like. It tasted like regular roast beef. Each sandwich is ginormous, easy the size of your forearm but thicker (I have skinny arms, so maybe my arm x2)? One sandwich is enough for 3-4 meals for me, that's how big they are. This place is truly charming and I hope it continues to thrive for a very long time to come.
