I've been coming here since I was a kid. After moving back to the area, I visited a few times for cupcakes & was disappointed. They were stale, but the donuts weren't. I went back today & got a few things including a slice of yellow cake. It was moist & delicious. Their prices have gone up, so the cake slice is now cheaper than a cupcake. I will go to Walmart for cupcakes, but I won't completely count Naa's Bakery out for pastries. Give them a try and see what you think for yourself. read more

I barely ever leave reviews but goodness gracious this was amazing. We went at 7:30 am on a Thursday and there were plenty of baked goods to choose from-- we got the cinnamon roll, lemon danish, and apple fritter. Our favorite is the cinnamon roll, hands down. I'm not even a big fan of cinnamon rolls but they are delicious. Definitely recommend. The lemon custard is unlike any other custard I've had, so next time I may get the filled powdered instead. I went to this sweet little spot about a week ago to satisfy a few cravings I had and they definitely didn't disappoint. For the amount of pastries I got the price was unbeatable - I think I got about seven or eight donuts, a brownie, and a piece of cake for $15.05! You simply cannot beat that. Hidden local gem. Always knew about this bakery but never had their doughnuts until recently. Now I stop at least once a week. The original glazed doughnut may be 2 times the size of a Krispy Kreme. We got rained out at the beach and on the way back to the hotel I got a craving for something sweet. I found this place while searching on google and was a little skeptical when I arrived. The outside reminded me of an old school deli, well, the inside did too. I was impressed with the bakery options and my children really enjoyed the cookies and donuts. I got a cupcake and a piece of vanilla cake. The items tasted fresh and were savory. I love the vibe of this place. Real old school and definitely reminded me of my grandma's kitchen. After moving to Virginia Beach 3 years ago, I noticed an abundance of cake donuts. I don't like Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts and I don't really like "specialty" donuts either. I'm so happy to have heard the community's praises about this place! I got my fix! They reminded me of fluffy donuts I use to get in California. These are very big. I had to cut them in half and I'd still get full. The staff was very friendly, cash and card accepted. They've recently exploded in "fame" and are no longer Norfolk's best kept secret so either get there super early, or place your order ahead of time if possible. They clearly have a regular following, staff knew some of the customers by name and knew what they would order. It's national donut day and I had heard about how amazing the donuts are at Naa's bakery. I called yesterday and placed an order for pick up. When I got there I saw how big there donuts are and instantly got excited. Brought the donuts home and shared them with my family. My two sons commented about how they couldn't taste the chocolate glaze on their donuts. I tried a bite and they were right. Almost no flavor and very waxy. Since the donuts are so large, the taste was completely lost. I told them they could go get a different donut from the box. One picked a regular glazed and one chose cinnamon sugar. Neither finished them which never happens when they're given sweets. I grabbed an apple filled and it was decent. Good amount of filling and soft. My husband tried a raspberry filled and an apple fritter. He agreed that they weren't very good. These donuts were a swing and a miss for us. read more

I've never been inside Naas Bakery but I've had several donuts and they have all been very tasty. By favorite so far is the apple fritter. They are twice the size of the donuts found at KK and DD and TEN TIMES BETTER. My favorite is the cinnamon sugar.
