She had good…read moresense of color and seemed very knowledgable, that l was until I found out the subway tile that I bought would not work with the shower pan as designed. I found this out when my contractor saw the subway tile and pointed out why (long explanation, but the water wouldn't drain). At no point during 4 appointments/visits my wife and I made, with hours spent picking out tile, were we ever asked about the type of drain or slope the shower would have, and this ultimately is what ruined everything. I called to tell Anna Marie about the issue, to which she said, she did tell us about this problem, but that we insisted on this tile. This is a lie or misremembered exchange. She then also inferred that my contractor must not be good enough to install it, again dodging accountability. I asked if we could get a store credit or do anything, to which Anna Marie said no refunds and then again said my wife and I made the mistake, not her. Now I am left with a bunch of useless tile, money wasted (which I cannot afford), and a remodel on hold. In the end, Anna Marie is nice and she understands how to put color together, but she cleary has no knowledge of what tile should go where, or at the very least neglected to mention it. Mistakes happen, but both Anna Marie and Westside Tile should at least take some accountability. Now I understand why Floor and Decor right up the street is a much better option.

I asked FOUR different employees for help while standing there waiting. The Pro Service department was literally right across from the tile cutters and multiple workers saw me standing there. One slimmer employee with a beard acted like he was going to help, then walked around me and went over to Nelly instead of actually assisting me. It honestly felt like they were more focused on flirting and talking to each other than helping customers. Nelly kept peeking her head around the Pro Service area watching me wait and still chose not to help. I stood there for around 10 minutes waiting just to get someone to unlock a simple item. The only reason I finally got helped was because a very nice manager happened to walk by and stepped in. To make things worse, when Nelly finally rang me up she was rude the entire time. Instead of handing me the receipt professionally, she just told me "grab your receipt" while it printed out. No customer service, no apology, nothing. The manager was the only good part of the entire experience. Everyone else acted annoyed that they had to do their job. Definitely one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time.

I asked if they had a variety of them as well as different colors and he mentioned that there are many to choose from. He told me to bring the sample so he can match the color. I wanted to make sure of everything since we drove 40 minutes just to look at the selection. As soon as we walked in, we were approached by a man and he takes a look at the plank and says "what is this? No - you have to go to the manufacturer, we don't have anything to match that size" I had asked if we can look around to see if maybe they had any other flooring that can match the sample to possibly replace our floors. And said ok and didn't bother to help us as we searched around. With no luck, I had mentioned that we called earlier and that I wish I would have known they they had limited sizing before we drove all the way out there and he said "well you didn't tell me the size of your plank, did you?". How am I supposed to know what sizes they provide stair noses for, shouldn't they have asked me the size plank I had? He responded in such a condescending way to make it seem like I was at fault, I was so shocked by his response and service, I didn't know what to say back. It's one thing not to have something in stock, but it's another to be rude and refuse to help. Terrible experience.

I have purchased from Emser Tile before without any issues, which is why this recent experience was…read moreso disappointing. I was initially told that a specific tile I wanted was out of stock. Because of that, I ordered the same product through a third party at nearly four times the cost -- only to find out it shipped directly from Emser anyway. That was extremely frustrating and confusing. The tile I purchased directly from Emser also arrived dirty and covered with visible marks. The condition was not what I expect when buying new material, and I ultimately couldn't use any of it for my project. Although they did eventually issue a refund, the way the situation was handled left a bad impression. I was told, "We will process this to get you out of here," which felt dismissive and unnecessarily snarky. As a paying customer who didn't do anything wrong, I expected more professionalism. I appreciate that the refund was ultimately processed, but the lack of transparency and customer service during the process has changed my view of the company.

Eneida who was the lady at the front is not only professional and she gets on the phone and e-mailing right away getting pricing and ETA for my order. Within 15 mins, I get pricing for 2 of the stone/tiles. And within 2 hours, I heard back from her via email (which I asked them to do instead of calling so I can keep track of the info with vendors) of the other option status. Talk about being efficient!!! Would totally recommend this place!
