Street parking or paid lots nearby available. Walked in without reservations. Was promptly seated in the back, in front of the chefs preparing food, which was fun to watch. Although they were sneaking in watching the game in the midst of cooking. Our table was marvelous, I mean the table itself. It was so beautiful and such a sight to dine on. The ambience and decor overall is extremely high end and classy. The bathroom is hidden in the hallway, flush with the wall. I loved taking in all the style and details of the establishment. The service is extremely pretentious, snooty and haughty. That was the only downside to the place. The food presentation is top notch. We over ordered to attempt to try a lot of the selections offered on the menu. Too bad you cannot take anything to go as you do in America, so we had a lot of left over food wasted because we were stuffed. The ice in the alcoholic drink was stamped with Nabucco which was very cool. Everything we ordered was good, no complaints except they're a bit heavy handed with the salt at times, but not bad. Wouldn't come back due to the lack of service since there are so many other dining options in Milan with exceptional customer service and great food.

Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely ambiance. The chef was so kind as well. At first I wasn't sure about the menu, but it all turned out to be incredible! Very good Milanessa and Vongole and meatballs! Surely one of the better restaurants in Milan

Walking down the street on a cool, cloudy afternoon and it looked inviting. Checked the reviews online and entered to a friendly welcome. While the restaurant is large, it is broken up into many intimate areas. We sat in the front room. Prosecco - Ametista by Ardenghi €30. A refreshing pink. Beef Tartare - huge portion. Damn good. We had extra toast. Pasta Carnonara - al dente. Simple and delicious. Smooth and creamy (but no cream in it). Roncherdone - 1/2 bottle €18. A rich red that was a good complement to the pasta. Apple pie a la mode for me and gelato for Tracie. Large portions. Grappa barrique and espresso. ++ service was perfect + atmosphere - warm and inviting. Sadly, there was only one other couple here. The virus hysteria is really hurting businesses. + Apple Pay + coat check + Wi-FI + Leopardi by WNK flatware + table linens + cloth napkins + music - classical. Very relaxing. €128 - lunch for 2 01MAR2020

    Saffron Risotto with ossobuco

Service was attentive and friendly from the beginning. Wine recommendation went perfectly with my meal choice. I ordered the Saffron Risitto with ossobuco. Risotto was perfectly al dente, but the sauce was a little on the dry side for my taste. Ossobuco was flavorful and tender, but it came with just a few small pieces, not the normal medallion, so I felt longer for more.

Yelped this place and we got VERY lucky! It was an early dinner and the restaurant was not busy at all. We asked to be seated indoors and they said it's all reserved, so we were seated outdoor. They same with some fresh bread and menu. We ordered a chicken breast au granti with lemon sauce and parsley potato, blanched sea bass carpaccio & truffle, house meatballs with potato, traditional tiramisu, americano and a latte. It was hard to resists the bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, we saved room for the main course and dessert. * Chicken breast au granti with lemon sauce was cooked perfectly. Portion was quite big I'd say. Creamy potatoes and a side of spinach. * Blanched sea bass carpaccio & truffle was AMAZING! Sea bass were sliced in some oil on a really hot plate topped with huge thin truffles. This dish was perfect the was it is, just some sea salt and pepper and the fresh ingredients brought out the flavors. * House meatball with potato was served with a bit of sauce. The sauce was a little bit salty for me BUT meatballs itself couldn't get any better. * Tiramisu came in a glass jar, almost the size of the glass they serve water in. It's more dense than the regular mousse tiramisu I've tried, custard/ pudding texture. Have some coffee soaked biscuits on the bottom and come cocoa powder on the top. It was a very rich dessert and it was delicious. I didn't expect this restaurant to be to gigantic inside, this place is beautifully built and have many tables and private areas for large groups. We noticed as we ate other people who didn't make reservation like us weren't able to dine in because they said they are full for the night. Service was AMAZING, very professional and detailed. We're had an awesome and enjoyable time here. We also ordered some wines but I forgot the names, it was great with out meals though. Coffees were good too.

Nabucco is a highly regarded restaurant in the Brera district of Milan, which came as a recommendation by my hotel's concierge. It's located in what Americans would call "the cut" or an alley way, but is actually a very narrow side street that also houses numerous other businesses. This is a classic Italian restaurant and that is quite evident from their décor on down. The space itself is relatively small, with dark color schemes and dim lighting. The service was professional, but I'm probably being generous. Some of the challenge was the language barrier as we were paired with the only staff member that spoke at least some functional English. A little bit of miscommunication occurred during ordering, but that's par for the course. They can be a little aggressive with upselling though, as other Yelpers have mentioned. Be careful about accepting the staff's tasting offers without verifying if it's complementary or not. Another thing for folks to be mindful of is the tight seating setup. That can lead to gawking, especially for younger tourists taking pictures (with the flash on) in a packed restaurant filled with older clientele. We tried the Carne Salada, Nabucco Mare, Spada Griglia, Gnocchi Sorrentina, Brasato Polenta, and Lasagne. The Carne Salada is beef carpaccio that is served on top of arugula and topped with a cream based tangy dressing. Huge dish that is large enough to share amongst 3-4 people. The beef was tender and flavorful. I wish the dressing had a little bit of heat to it, just for a flavor contrast. Good appetizer, although your doctor may disagree. The Nabucco Mare is a collection of different components that included octopus, potatoes, cherry tomatoes, pate and zucchini flowers with ricotta cheese. The dish was on the average side. The octopus was cooked pretty well as it was a cross between tender and chewy. The other items were afterthoughts at best. I will say that the stuffed zucchini flowers are a great concept, but they were needed to do something to the them like grilling it because it was close to inedible for me. The Spada Griglia is a dish of grilled swordfish that comes with an assortment of veggies (zucchini, purple cabbage, potatoes). The focal point was the swordfish and it did not disappoint. Thick piece of fish that was nicely grilled, seasoned, moist and tender. The Gnocchi Sorrentina is potatoes dumplings served "Sorrentina style" (mozzarella, tomatoes sauce, oven-baked). Sadly, the dish was pretty average considering my excitement level was comparable to teenage girls at a Justin Bieber concert. The biggest issue was the gnocchi wasn't really highlighted and instead was masked by the sauce. The gnocchi themselves didn't wow and therefore couldn't stand out. Brasato Polenta is basically a dish of braised beef with polenta. Very straightforward dish that was pretty average. The polenta was not particularly flavorful and the texture made me feel like it wasn't cooked long enough. The beef was decent as it was relatively tender but also lacked a bit in the flavor department. The Lasagne is a traditional bolognese lasagna. Top three of the best lasagna dishes I've ever had (right there besides my mom's and Allison's Restaurant in Crofton, MD). I think the best thing about this dish is the balance amongst all the layers of flavor. It's very cheesy, which fits my preferences, as well as a great sauce that was sweet with some acid that creeps up in the end. The star of the meal by far. Overall, Nabucco is fine restaurant, especially if you order the right dishes. The menu is extensive and so predictably not every dish is going to be great. It is pricey though (around ($200) so going with the popular dishes would be smart. Buon appetito!

I went to Nabucco with my husband on a Saturday night during our one weekend trip to Milan. There was an apparent mix up with our reservations and we ended up having to switch tables. Meanwhile, I observed other people's orders and everything looked delicious! The place is nice. Really like classic Italian restaurant. More casual than fancy, very relaxing atmosphere. My husband got bruschettas as an appetizer while I got burrata. It was all delicious. There were two burratas on my dish but, sadly, only one was creamy in the inside. A bit big for a appetizer because it also came with two mini bruschettas to add to all the cheese. Delicious anyway!!! For our main dish we both ordered the pasta with lobster. WHAT A FEAST! Absolutely excellent! They give you extra napkins and proper tools to crack the lobster. They crack the tougher parts for you and it turned out it very eat to eat. Thankfully I had the napkin to protect my clothes!!! The pasta was delicious and tasted very fresh with an amazing tomato sauce. I couldn't even order dessert (which is rare) because I really had had a feast of great Italian food, so I can't comment on their desserts, but the choices looked great also. I really recommend this restaurant to everyone! I wanna go back!!!!

My best friend has Lebanese roots and Medditeranean cuisine is my absolute favorite. So I'm picky in this regard! I ordered the vegan platter which came with a lot of varies small plates with various textures. All the classics - salad with tahini dressing, hummus, babaganoush, grape leaf roll (just one lol) as well as some other dishes like green beans and eggplant in stewed tomato, and some fritters that were not exactly falafel. I think they were made with corn meal... that's not falafel lol. They still tasted delicious! There was also a little fried spinach snack and roasted potatoes. When I shared the pics with my friend, she immediately said why do they have potatoes that's not classic Lebanese, haha! Ethnic cuisine in Milan is okay. A lot of times the spice profile is toned down a lot ( I assume because that's what North Italians are used to) but Beirut's offerings are still quite delicious! If you're feeling super hungry after a long work day and craving various textures and flavors, do what I did and get yourself the vegan platter delivered to home!

Cold mezé tajin was the best ever tried, chickpeas, lemon juice, onions, garlic & cilantro: this was my absolutely favorite dish. Warm mezé falafel, never had them so crunchy outside and moist inside. Warm pita bread made upon demand in a wooden oven. I tried the sambusik but will not order again, the filling of meat and onions was excellent but pasty outside was too thick. Lots of vegetarian dishes, all very tasty. The Dolce Neve dessert is similar to panna cotta from Piedmont but the rose water and pistachios gave it a different twist. I still prefer panna cotta. A very filling and satisfying meal priced at 20 bucks each. Great value for money. Strongly advised.
