A-OK is a pretty good summation of my experience here. Wasn't too hungry, so a single taco was perfect for me. I opted for the "cochinita pibil" (pulled pork is the primary protein). The protein is something they definitely got right. Not only was the pork tender, flavorful (without being overloaded with sauce) but the quantity was on point too. They certainly do not skimp on the amount of meat they put in there, but at the same time it is not an unwieldy mountain for food meant to be held. Like a great burger, however, the meat is only part or the story, you need everything else to work together to make the experience truly great. For me, this is where the taco fell flat on its side. For one there is the sauces (cilantro crema and a chile glaze). These sauces were a little off to the edge, and their quantities and positioning at the bottom did not allow them to shine. If I find myself looking for them as I eat, I know a little more would not have hurt. My second gripe is regards to the fresh/vegetable toppings. While I liked the taste and crunch of the radish, I found it made the taco a bit unwieldy. Rather than have a couple long strips, having more shorter ones would have helped keep the flavor consistent, and made the taco easier to handle. Regarding the cebollitas, I don't recall these having a significant impact on the dish, this isn't bad in and of itself, but if they weren't very memorable, making them stand a out a but more would not hurt. Though my review was less than spectacular, I do look forward to returning at some point and trying more of their food!

2 tacos and a side: tofu tacos and street corn

It's been 2-3 weeks since I visited Boston and I still am thinking about these tacos and the corn. I'd highly recommend getting a combo so you can get a little bit of everything.

The tacos are firstly massive. I ordered all but the fish and tofu for tacos and they are each so unique. I think the bistec is my favorite just because the guacamole on the tortilla really keeps it from falling apart. Price is $4 per taco regardless of filling which is solid for Boston (don't come for me I know they're cheaper elsewhere but this is New England not SoCal). I was wearing a nice work dress and honestly got food all over my hands and probably face and could not care less I was like an animal it was so good. Also the boxes for the tacos have built in taco stands which is true innovation. They living in 3019.

Best tacos ever!! I love the taste of them. I've been to their location in Cambridge and it's delicious, when I saw that truck I got very excited. Flavorful, nice tortillas they seemed hand made, spicy sauce and crispy veggies. Delightful!

Awesome truck on Newbury. We tried two of the tortas - ahogada (pulled pork + bacon), and pavo (braised turkey). Flavors were fantastic - really great stuff. I would definitely not attempt eating the ahogada with anything but a fork and knife - it's entirely smothered in sauce, so if you're looking for something to have quickly on the street would stick with tacos. Additionally tried the side of shaved vegetable salad which was underwhelming, very little dressing.

1st timer. Won't be a last timer. I found this place by accident - I walked for about 20 minutes trying to figure out what to eat for lunch. Then I smelled something delicious and saw the Naco Taco truck. Intrigued, I checked Yelp and found that Naco Taco was highly rated. I was game. I told the woman that it was my first time, and she walked me through the menu and a couple of people who had already offered shared their advice and praise. I went with the $10 Taco Combo - two tacos and one side. I had the smoked tofu taco and the chorizo taco. The person taking my order strongly suggested their corn as my side. I took her advice. Man, am I glad I did. Everything was delicious, had some really good spice, and considering the portion size and the location (Back Bay, Newbury Street), it was a good price. It was also packaged very well, which you can in the photo. I will totally be back and look forward to trying the tortas. If you're in the area, you should go.

Absolutely loved it. Flavor was there and texture was great. Very affordable . Pulled Pork taco was juicy and has small slices of radish to give a texture of crunch . It was nicely flavored and the corn wasn't messy to eat. Fish taco was crispy and the bright color sauce was relish. I would have tacos on newbury all the time if I could! It all comes in a cute portioned box.

Naco Taco is delicious! They offer a variety of taco and torta selections and a few combo value meals (two tacos + a side or a torta + a side). Conveniently parked right on Newbury Street, they attract lots of customers and offer quick, efficient service. I always get their bistec taco, which consists of grilled steak, a smattering of avocado spread, cheese, and a chipotle crema. They don't skimp on their fillings! You can always expect lots of flavorful steak strips. The steak and avocado combination is amazing! They go together so well. :- ) I've tried their chorizo taco, which was very delicious. I love potatoes, so this was the perfect taco. It consisted of potato chunks, cilantro, bits of onion, and a chipotle-tomatillo sauce. I've also tried their smoked tofu taco, which consists of refried beans, salsa, crema sauce, and a few chunks of fried tofu. I found this taco to be lacking when compared to the bistec. The refried beans didn't help the dryness, either! The salsa addition was probably the best part because it added some pizzazz to an otherwise plain taco. If you're looking for bold flavors, I'd recommend the bistec and chorizo tacos!

    Typical lineup.

Great tacos! The cod and carnitas tacos were delicious and the guacamole was fresh with chunks of avocado. Add a Jarritos soda and the total with two tacos, guacamole and chips is just $12. This is as authentic, fresh and tasty as you will find anywhere. The pulled pork in the taco was juicy and perfectly seasoned, so I am hoping the middling experience of the reviewer who described the pork as tough and dry was a one off. The only problem you will have is finding a place to eat on busy Newbury St.

Taco Combo $10 Fish and Steak tacos with Street Corn side

Walking back to my hotel after work and enjoy the scenic Newbury Street and it's unique Brownstone buildings that are now storefronts for all type of businesses and eateries. Stopped at the taco truck which caught my eye. Decide to try their $10 Taco Combo - choice of two tacos and a side. I chose the Fish and Steak tacos and the street corn as my side. (Corn is already cut off from the cob, much easier to eat and not lacking the taste) Their food is awesome and the tortilla taste like it made from scratch with nice charred to them. Fish is fried in a nice light batter and is crispy yet not oily. Flank Steak is tender and seasoned perfectly. You can taste every ingredient separately when eating them. One of the best tacos I had

This truck is always on the corner of Newbury and Mass Ave. They mainly serve tacos and tortas. I ordered the bistec taco and it was quite delicious. $4 was somewhat reasonably places I guess. I wouldn't mind coming back to try other tacos or even a torta!

Great taco truck with a wide selection of meats. Very cheap but super good. Would highly recommend. Also unreal sauces. I will definitely be back.

It was quite busy on a rainy weekday so I am very glad to have made a reservation. The server was great with getting to us when we arrived and checking on us initially. I think they made the chips in house and they were very thick but they didn't really stand out to me and the guac was very citrus sour. We didnt even finish it . It was wild cause it was like $16.99. The margaritas are not too sweet with the alcohol hidden within the mix. I would go just for these. The tacos were pretty good with baby tortillas. They were also quite messy and they didn't give you any utensils.... My favorite was the citrus or chipotle chicken, my friend and I both got chicken so I am honestly not sure. With all of the visitors here for the tournament, it's no surprise that the place was hopping. We got carded at the door and made our way inside. We initially found a small table towards the back, which were the only seats available when we walked in. After waiting at the table for several minutes, some seats at the bar opened up and we seized the opportunity to sit there instead. We ordered some margaritas, namely the house margarita and a coconut margarita. They were fine. We also ordered the triple dip (chips with salsa, guac and queso), a quesadilla and the birria tacos. Even though they were extremely busy, the food came out quickly. I didn't try the quesadilla but my boyfriend devoured it, so I think it's safe to say he liked it. The birria tacos were pretty solid. Only two of them on the plate but they were super juicy and a stuffed pretty generously. I liked the triple dip the best though, particularly the queso and guacamole. It's definitely very expensive for everything we got; this is likely because the place is located in a very touristy area of the city. For just two margaritas and three food items, it cost over $100. They also had us pay for everything before we received the food, though I get that this is probably because of how many people were there for the World Cup and ordering drinks to go. Overall a decent spot to have a drink, split a couple of appetizers and watch a game.

These are 3-bite tacos. Although small, I enjoyed the flavors of all the tacos I tasted. My favorites were the seafood varieties. 1) Baja fish - really crispy batter, creamy, spicy slaw 2) Yucatán shrimp - great texture, and spicy bean-like plantain puree. The pork belly was sweet, but a bit dry. In addition to the picked red onions, it could have used another saucy component.
