A quiet little gem in Hermitage. Of course I went for the breakfast option as I am a sucker for great eggs-but I was envious of the salads and sandwiches that came out for others. I will definitely go back to try those options .

I found this restaurant as a high recommendation on Yelp for Chicken & Waffles in the area. We stopped on a Sunday around 11am & there was about a 30 min wait. The service was great, everyone in there was really nice & helpful. The Chicken & Waffles were also great! We saw a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich that looked really good & the server said this is the dish they are known for because they bring the bread in from Philly. I will try it next time! Parking is limited

Incredible all around! Best coffee by Frothy Monkey...so delicious! They often ask if you'd like to take a cup to go. The Philly cheesesteak is delicious and huge. I've got half left for another day. Love their chicken & waffles with berries. Reasonable prices. Scrumptious! Service is top notch. Comfortable atmosphere. Homey feel.

The super delicious Wedge Salad with Nashville Hot Chicken. Best in Nashville.

One of my favorite Nashville restaurants. Nadeen's is exactly what you want to find when you go looking for a local joint where nice people serve really good food in a casual setting with a full bar! Breakfast here is really good and it's served all day. I recommend the Chicken & Waffles and the budget friendly Diner Breakfast. My wife and I now have a go-to lunch order here. We start by sharing the large Poitine. If you're not from Canada, that means hand cut french fries with cheese curds covered in house made gravy. When you're there, it's hard to find a table that isn't sharing the Poutine. My Wife & I LOVE the Wedge Salad. She orders hers with a large piece of boneless fried chicken and I add the Nashville Hot Chicken. It's more than a meal for $14, with bacon, red onions, blue cheese crumbles and cherry tomatoes. I ask for an extra blue cheese dressing, my wife does not. It's the best salad with fresh made chicken for the money in Nashville. I highly recommend Nadeen's Hermitage Haven. Maybe I'll see you there!

Down home feel. Bar food with some comfort sides. The Mac n cheese is made in house. Very cheesy. I did have to add pepper, but it was my preference. Wings were delish. And they serve breakfast all day! Happy hour is 3-6 week days. Definitely a nice place to unwind after work or for a casual dinner. Our server was super nice and attentive.

Just arrived in town and my hubby and I were a little hungry. We found this place on Google and I ordered the burger and my hubby got the barbecue wings. Both dishes arrived quickly, were hot, and delicious!! We couldn't have asked for a better meal. We just wanted something simple and this did not disappoint. Excellent food and fast service!!

This place holds a special place with me. Their cool vibes and friendly service is icing on the cake. I find it tough to choose between the Philly, Tyrone Chicken or patty melt but the fries hands down is the best choice to make. I sat at the bar and got the Southern "something" it was a bourbon cocktail it was delicious. My Philly didn't disappoint and it came out hot and fresh. This was the perfect lunch on Saturday football Gameday! Annnddddd they had a happy hour that made the day better!

The food here was incredible and the portions excellent for the price. Our server was attentive and we felt very well taken care for. We ordered the Italian sub, the poutine (size large) and the buffalo wings with blue cheese. All delicious! There is a reason Nadeen's is a staple in the community.

Get the poutine. You can tell it's authentic Canadian style and is very good. Also, the Philly Cheesesteak is wonderful.

Is the full menu served all day?

Breakfast is! I think everything else is after 11

Do they offer bottomless mimosas (esp on Sunday)?

I don't think they have bottomless mimosas, but their mimosas and bloody Mary's are only six dollars on Saturday and Sunday

A destination restaurant hiding inside a destination resort…read more When people think of the Gaylord Opryland, they usually think of the stunning indoor gardens, waterfalls, and sprawling atriums. What they may not realize is that tucked inside this incredible resort is one of the finest old-school steakhouses in Nashville. Old Hickory Steakhouse exceeded every expectation. A group of us settled in for what turned into a leisurely four-and-a-half-hour dinner, and honestly, it never felt rushed. It was the kind of evening where conversation flowed, wine glasses stayed full, and every course gave us another reason to linger a little longer. The dining room has timeless steakhouse elegance. Crisp white tablecloths, attentive but unobtrusive service, and gorgeous views overlooking the resort's indoor gardens make it feel like you're dining in a hidden oasis rather than inside a convention hotel. And then there's the food... We ordered enough to experience nearly every corner of the menu. The bone-in ribeye was beautifully marbled with a deeply caramelized crust and that rich, buttery flavor ribeye lovers chase. The tomahawk was every bit the showstopper. Perfectly aged, sliced for sharing, incredibly tender, and cooked to a gorgeous medium-rare. It was one of those centerpieces that makes everyone at neighboring tables stop and look. The double-cut pork chop deserves its own applause. Thick, juicy, perfectly grilled, with just enough char to add smoky depth while staying remarkably moist. The filet was everything a filet should be--fork tender with an elegant sear. The scallops were another standout. Beautifully caramelized with a golden crust while remaining silky and sweet inside. They disappeared almost immediately. We also shared the steak tartare, which was expertly prepared and beautifully balanced, followed by an artisan cheese selection that made a wonderful transition before dessert. The sides easily hold their own. The lobster mac and cheese was unapologetically rich and creamy. The loaded baked potato arrived overflowing with all the classic steakhouse indulgence. The French onion soup was deeply savory beneath its bubbling blanket of beautifully browned cheese. Even the Caesar salad impressed, served with crisp whole romaine leaves generously dressed and finished with plenty of Parmesan. Fresh warm rolls with whipped butter started the evening exactly the way every great steakhouse should. Dessert somehow found room despite all of that. The coconut cake was enormous, impossibly moist, layered with coconut, and paired with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. It's absolutely meant for sharing, although you may not want to. Service throughout the evening was polished, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. No one hurried us despite the length of our dinner, and every course arrived with impeccable timing. Yes, it's a splurge. But restaurants like this aren't simply about eating dinner. They're about slowing down, celebrating, sharing stories, and remembering why classic steakhouses have endured for generations. If you're staying at the Gaylord Opryland, don't make the mistake of leaving the resort for dinner. One of Nashville's best dining experiences may already be waiting just steps from your room. Life is simply too short not to eat well and travel well. Old Hickory Steakhouse lets you do both.

We chose to go to The Library, which is located within The Old Hickory Steakhouse, simply because we liked the name -- we figured a bar called The Library would be quiet and chill, and it was. All the cocktails had literary names and puns, such as Life of Chai, Gift of a Magi, and Treasure Island. I ordered Fahrenheit 451 (Old Hickory bourbon, raw sugar, Regan's orange bitters, and cherrywood smoke -- they actually set the drink on fire so it would smoke), and my sister had Great Expectations (Zephyr gin, Italicus, lemon, pomegranete, simple syrup, and Zardetto Prosecco). We really enjoyed our drinks, and despite being pricy (drinks ranged from $15 to $18, which, while not cheap, is not higher than most places), we would liked to have stayed for another one, but unfortunately we only had time for one round. Friendly bartenders happy to make whatever cocktail you'd like, and a list of specialties to choose from. They're a little limited in the liquor selection, but glad to run downstairs to the lobby bar, if they have something needed for your drink. Shared the pimento cheese appetizer. Really good pimento cheese, and the special crackers it was served with were excellent. Wife enjoyed a salad with shrimp. I did the fried shrimp hoagie. The shrimp were perfectly fried, the flavors spot on. Just have to ding them a little for the sandwich being completely structurally unsound. Most of the shrimp had already fallen out of the bread when it was served, and it was impossible to get the shrimp back on the sandwich long enough to get it to your mouth. Still enjoyed it, would just have preferred a true sandwich to something that required a fork and knife. Still highly recommend if you want a casual meal, a pleasant time, and a great view. We'll certainly be back.
