The presentation on the food is consistent and extremely appetizing. Food comes out hot and usually on their red and black designer bowls and plates. If your table orders several sushi rolls they have these decorative platters (some shaped like a wooden boat and some shaped like an ornate disc) that are almost too beautiful to eat. I say "almost" because there is no way anyone could leave a single grain of rice unattended at our table! It's definitely a breath of fresh air from how overcrowded other restaurants in the area can feel. My husband had their sirloin bento and I had the tofu hibachi bowl. The rice was cooked perfectly and we loved how thinly sliced the vegetables were. We will definitely be back!

The staff is great and adds an authentic touch to the atmosphere with the unique headbands they wear The food hits the mark every time. The Crunchy Roll is great, and the heavy crunch layered on top makes it stand out. I also ordered the Atomic Roll, which was perfectly executed. Overall, Konnichiwa offers great food at decent prices, making it a top-tier option for a quick pickup.

Pictured is the Hibachi Chicken & Steak with ginger sauce…read more This was a poor experience overall. My meal came with chicken, and my wife and two kids also got chicken, and it was overcooked for all of us. My father used to have a saying for chicken that was overcooked and dry. He'd call it "milk chicken" because you'd have to take a drink of milk to help you swallow the dry chicken. The chicken from Kochi is definitely milk chicken. The ginger sauce is fantastic. Great flavor and texture. The steak is also overcooked, and requires some hardy teeth and a good drink to get down your throat. The carrots are canned and they're sweet. I don't mind canned carrots, but it's a let down here because it's an odd contrast due to the meat being so hard to eat, but the carrots are mushy. My mouth was like, "What the... Is going on in here!?!" Lastly, the rice. It's fried rice, apparently. Well, it's supposed to be. Though it's also slightly sweet and - get this - has an odd fishiness flavor and smell to it. Ultimately, we paid a bit of money tonight to kochi and now my wife is making something else for dinner, and my two kids are making PB&J's. Me? I sat with a gallon of milk and choked down the meat. So I'm all set. We don't find the need to experiment with an order in the future. This first-time order was all the experience we needed.

Traditionally I get chicken, but to today I decided that the Beef; it was buss'n (per kidz). It was so savory with a hint of cinnamon (least I thought). The richness wasn't expected nor was the freshness of the bean sprouts. I typically hate them but these were fresh and had a great bite. I used them to indulge in the crunch. The noods were square and not round. I thought that was unique as I have traditionally only had round. The Beef wasn't as tender as I'm used to but decent. The broth was the star for me. I really enjoyed the Pho. In addition, I got Goyza which was savory and indulgent. They were a tad overcooked but I like the texture of the bite it creates. The Eggrolls were a disappointment. They had absolutely no flavor but we're cooked beautifully. Nice light fry and not over cooked. The dipping sauce was too gelatinous for me. I would definitely give them a try. Its a small Cafe so don't expect mom and pop as I did. Its more fast-food style. My waitress (Kim) was efficient and sweet. She managed the front house, waited tables and busted tables so if it's busy give her grace.

Definitely a different flavor than the other dishes. It was spicy, but not hot spicy. I would order it again. My wife is stuck on the green curry. She orders that most of the time, she loves it so much. By the way, these were takeout orders. If you want to try something different, give them a try.

Four Stars Overall I…read morenormally like to know about a Restaurant before going in (Yelp is an Outstanding resource), but was brought here with about 2 minutes warning...lol Pros - Waiter was Outstanding: Friendly and Fast...our table had several special "requests" that were taken care of without a second thought - Food was very good: Hibachi Chicken was a bit salty Cons - Menu was a bit confusing for a First-Timer...I enjoyed what I had, but after looking at the Menu again, I didn't order what I would've preferred. Mind you, I spent a month in Narita, Japan so I'm familiar with Japanese food - Tip Jar at the Counter...I didn't know we'd have a Sever bring us our food and clear the table when I ordered. It came across as an attempt to double-dip the tip. Yes, I tipped our Outstanding Server well - Sweet Carrots...nasty and sweeter than Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs (see Calvin and Hobbes if you don't know the reference) Will I come back? Yes, but with a better understanding of my options
