Kung Pao Chicken and Spicy Maki Combo
    Selena K.

I ordered pickup the other day from this place. It was relatively weird to get to because it's on a one way street. There is street parking but it's metered. I parked on a side street quickly and ran in. My order was finished in maybe 20 minutes - I was impressed. I got the spicy maki combo and Kung Pao chicken. The maki combo was decent - not bad but not great. HOWEVER the Kung Pao chicken was amazing! It comes with white rice and the portion size was just right (for me). I will be ordering from this place again for this dish alone. Maybe I'll try other maki they offer. Overall I had a good experience with this place.

    Spicy scallop and caterpillar rolls.

Ramen and delivery was tops. Menu looks good and I am looking forward to ordering again. Perhaps sushi next tiMe. Ordered sushi from here a few times now. Loved everything so far! Also delivery is pretty fast!

    Sashimi Plate

Parking: Street (Metered) Parking Atmosphere: Not bad, partially reminds me of a storage place as there was a lot of stuff on empty tables and what not. Service: Meh, he was nice, but there was only 3 tables in the whole restaurant and he was slow and forgot parts of our order Food: Meh, I got a Sashimi Plate which was only ok. Some of the fish didn't seem SUPER fresh to me. My boyfriend got the Ramen and a Maki Roll, which were only ok to him. The broth (I tried it) wasn't bad, but I wasn't blown away by it and I've had better in the Greater Boston Area. I was actually looking forward to coming here, but was pretty disappointed once we were done. Price: Pretty reasonable - Cheap for Ramen & Sushi Recommendation out of 10: 4

    Chicken "pad thai"

It's just not good. The pad Thai is terrible, it's white. Hardly any peanuts, the chicken is white, noodles, white, and tons of over cooked eggs. It's gross. Pineapple fried rice, its white, hardly looks like it's been fried at all. Tastes exactly how it looks. Edited to add that later on that night I ended up vomiting and spent all night sick.

Ordered the Nagoya Ramen. Huge portion as ramen should be. The broth is thick, hearty & and tastes great. Pork was seasoned so well. Veggies crisp, egg on point. Definitely would recommend the ramen and if you arent committed to such a huge bowl then share with another person. ( Broth is sent in separate container to not overcook other items)

Greatly very friendly. We sat and had our meal, waitress was very attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the crab rangoon, green tea, miso and wonton soups., pineapple Hawaiian chicken, ramen noodle bowl, so good

Ordered the ramen noodles, and it literally smelled like a barn mixed with a rotten fish tank. Food is just inedible.

Just tried out this local new spot for delivery and was very satisfied. Definitely recommend the wonton soup and the combination meals.

I already loved the Brookline location. We were 15 minutes away from the Winchester location, so…read moretook the drive. The layout of the restaurant is similar to the Brookline location, with the private booths on the right and special booths on the left, main seating area in the middle, and the bar seating towards the back. Only difference is the Brookline location has those cool matcha whisk structures, while this location has cool honeycomb structures. I would've loved to experience sitting in one of those. I always like to eat spicy so of course I got the Kyushu Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. As always, broth is so flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. The ramen texture is my favorite, good amount of softness and waviness. The boiled egg is marinated just right, not too salty or sweet. The chashu pork is tender. I wanted to try their version of the spicy cucumbers. It's REALLY spicy. But also very good. The flavor reminds me of the Chinese chili oil sweet potato noodles, very spicy, kind of salty, and a strong taste of vinegar. I love snacking on it. The takoyaki is the best of course, perfectly soft and tender, with thin bonito shavings and great sauce. The fries are essentially seasoned the same way. Salted fries with the takoyaki sauces and bonito. The combo works very well together. Thai tea was good and service was great. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll stop by for another bowl.

Yum!! We went back to Kyuramen, very hungry and eager to try a variety of menu items. We thought…read moreabout trying one of the combo options, but I ended up ordering the curry ramen, and upgrading it for $7 to include a Thai tea and bao bun. The bun was delicious, with tender pork and a flavorful sauce and I loved having the Thai tea to sip on. We also ordered the cucumber salad to share and it was nice and fresh and spicy. My curry ramen was delicious and hearty. My partner ordered the #2 and I really liked the pork in his bowl, I preferred it over the tonkatsu in mine. We ended our meal with matcha tiramisu and during the current promotion, we won an order of popcorn chicken to redeem on our next visit. The restaurant is cozy and they make use of the small space with their honeycomb wall. There are lots of employees working, so service is quick and we were able to call our sever to the table with a button when we wanted to order and pay.

Fish cakes were small and perfectly uniform - almost like they were frozen rather than prepared on site. Green curry had some spice but was mostly one note, there just wasn't much depth of flavor. Vegetables were all cut in huge hunks - both dishes had giant pieces of red bell peppers and onions. Fried rice was pretty bland and barely had any Chinese broccoli in it. Ambiance was bare bones - you order at the counter and they bring you your food and plastic side plates. Half the tables were stacked with boxes and bags of takeout orders. To top it off there's no bathroom, we were told to use the bathroom at another local business. If I'm gonna spend $60 somewhere, I expect to be able to wash my hands before eating and use the restroom. Perhaps there are some specialty dishes that we didn't try but this was my 2nd time ordering from here (I got take out once before) and both times the food was pretty bland. A truly underwhelming experience - especially when there are so many better restaurants in the area.
