Aesthetically, this place is beautiful! Everyone was very friendly! The food was good. It's family style and they don't have a kids menu which was a bummer for our 4 year old. He did end up eating the food we ordered and then unfortunately, he had an upset stomach later in the evening. There's a variety of meal options and some beer/alcohol, although the options are a bit limited. Plenty of seating both inside and out and free parking. The lot is busy so it may take a bit to find parking, depending on the time of day. If you're interested, this is a great spot for a date or even a celebration. Check it out!

Upon walk-in, I was amazing by the decor. Service was prompt and server was knowledgeable in both food and beverage. Food was just meh. Celebrated a birthday, group of 8. We shared majority of the offerings, many plates lacked taste or were too salty. Nothing to remember. Maybe a return for shared dim sum.

Ate here again with some friends. The food was still great. Had the Lychee martini and Sweep the Leg drinks. Both were great. My husband tried the whole fried rockfish this time which he loved. I had the duck again. Also had vegetable fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. This time we also walked in again, without a reservation and were able to get a table right away, with no wait. We were seated upstairs and outside again which was great because it was a sunny, beautiful day. They didn't seem that busy. I will say I took one star off because service seemed kinda slow and the waitress seemed really busy, a bit overwhelmed and distracted at times.

I was in the Baltimore area for work. One of my friends reserved this place for dinner. I hadn't Chinese food in the area so I was excited to try it out. As we walked in we noticed that the restaurant so full on a Wednesday evening. I am so glad my friend made the reservation. We had to wait 10 minutes to get our tables ready. Ambiance is 10/10. Our server was great as well. She recommended some of her favorites from the menu. We ordered hot and sour soup, crispy shrimp and chilly wontons. They were all delicious. Chilly wontons were our favorite. She recommended I try fiery lamb for my entree. Absolutely loved it. It comes flaming hot. The lamb was perfectly cooked. Nice and tender. So flavorful as well. I highly recommend this place and definitely try the fiery lamb.

I saw this new Chinese restaurant opened up in village crossing and finally paid a visit I will start with pros : food is amazing. And ambience is great. Cons: service was the worse i have experienced in years. No one ever asked us for any drinks or food order. I flagged bartenders couple times. Everyone was super nice but useless. To say the least. Food was 11/10. Hot and four soup. Delicious. Wedge salad good. Cucumber salad delicious. Shrimp fried rice not a big portion. Very fresh and tasty and well seasoned. Shrimp Eggrolls yummy Will return but will be aware of terrible service I hope it gets better.

Nine tail fox had been on my list to visit for some time. So glad I finally made it! The pictures online don't even do it justice. Such a beautiful restaurant! I didn't realize they had a happy hour, as so many times atlas restaurants will only have one temporarily. There never seemed to have any issues with seating. The drinks were good! I had some prosecco and then saw the purple pineapple drink and was intrigued. The bartender said it tastes slightly like a pina colada and I was sold. I ordered the chili wonton, crab Rangoon, and vegetable fried rice. EVERYTHING was good! I will definitely be back

Came back to Nine Tailed Fox and the experience was much better all around than last time. They sat us right away, the sweet and sour chicken had plenty of sauce and the duck was very good. 4-4.5 stars this time !

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday with 3:45pm reservations. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated immediately. The main dining area was dimly lit and the entire restaurant had nice ambiance. Several tables were occupied but the rested not busy. Our waitress arrived shortly after we were seated, provided some recommendations, and informed us that the food would arrive as it was ready (I.e., everything might not arrive at the same time). We started with the Way of the Dragon (cocktail) and Hot and Sour soup. Both were good. Lucky for us, all of our food arrived at the same time (and quickly). We had black pepper beef (a house special), which tasted great; vegetable fried rice; and stir fried garlic pea sprouts. We were not sure what to expect with the pea sprouts but when they arrived they looked like spinach and they tasted amazing!! The bathrooms are individual. They were clean and had the same dim lighting that were in the dining areas. I was nosy so I went upstairs to see the large bar area. Lots of natural lighting and you can see the rooftop dining spaces (which were currently closed because it's winter). I will definitely return to try other dishes here.

I had a great time on a return visit. I really enjoyed the noodles and general tso chicken. I got the chicken from the grill menu, perfectly cooked but lacked flavor. It should definitely be paired with a different sauce if not given a distinct flavor profile of its own. The strawberry cloud dessert was light and yummy. Service was great and the restaurant was lively and bustling on a Saturday night but not overcrowded.

I came here for my son's 21st birthday. We decided to sit upstairs at the bar. The decor is beautiful. They also have an outdoor seating area as well. For our appetizer we tried the Hot & Sour Soup, Wings and the Chili Wontons. We tried a few really good cocktails as well. And they also have a non alcohol drink from Tost that was really refreshing. The food for happy hour is smaller portions, but that's all you need. And the main menu is ala carte. Our bartenders were super cool and helped us navigate the menu and have great suggestions. This restaurant is definitely on my list of places to try again.

We arrived about 20 minutes early and were asked to wait until our exact reservation time to allow the server time to "catch up" on tables. From the entryway it did not appear that anyone was in the restaurant. However, after we strolled the holiday bazaar outside and returned at our exact reservation time when we turned the corner there was a lovely dining room filled with guests. The menu offers traditional and fusion Chinese cuisine. I had the chicken and shrimp shumai and half duck. My mom enjoyed the vegetable fried rice and Chilean sea bass and for dessert the strawberry cloud. We also tried cocktails that were enjoyable. Our waiter was friendly and the overall experience was lovely. I would love to see the upstairs bar on my next visit.

Nine Tailed Fox hit the spot! My bestie & I dined here on a Tuesday, and were seated quickly with no reservations. There's a bunch of parking out front. The appetizers were incredible. We are still raving about the crab rangoons & lamb potstickers. You could actually taste the crab meat and the potstickers were well seasoned. The entress are definitely shareable. I recommend the black pepper beef & fried rice. The rice was fluffy & the beef was tender. Our waitress went missing a few times, which resulted in us being in the restaurant longer than usual. However, the ambiance & decor was dated night approved. I would return to Nine Tailed Fox!

I was so excited to try this new restaurant! Came with my girlfriends on a Wednesday night and honestly, I'm glad we made a reservation. It was packed even on a weekday. The ambience is stunning but it does get very loud and made it hard to enjoy a conversation. Food was above average. We really enjoyed the appetizers/dim sum. The hot sour soup, the Singapore street slaw salad, the chicken chili wontons and mushroom spring rolls were EXCELLENT!!! The main course dishes were average - general tso's chicken, chow mein with chicken, seafood fried rice and okra and eggplant stir fry. For dessert, we shared the custard and the cloud cake. I think I was already too full to truly enjoy dessert. Definitely will be coming back but will try more of the dim sum!

I ordered combo lo mein, pork soup dumplings, combo fried rice, and duck spring rolls. Everything was packed well and nice and hot upon arrival. Everything was very delicious. All of the items had good flavor and the portion sizes for the lo mein and rice were good. I'd like to see maybe four soup dumplings for the price, but definitely enjoyed them as well as the spring rolls. Overall, I very much enjoyed the food, as did my bf, and will make a point to go there in person very soon to try more menu items!

We arrived for Friday $35 endless dim sum brunch, and the Host did not know who we were even though I had spoken with him today before, and I remembered his voice. So not a good start. We were sat upstairs, and we sat there for probably 20 minutes easy before we were even offered a beverage. It was when they first opened, but I would expect you to have staff ready. The hits just kept coming... The ambience downstairs was beautiful, but the ambience where we were sat was just lifeless. It didn't have the same punch. After we ordered some drinks, we decided on what we wanted from the menu. Some things were hit or miss, once they arrived to the table. The soup dumplings were just OK, but I guess I have really high expectations for that coming from NYC. The chicken lo mein wasn't bad per se, the veggie dumplings were delicious, the pork buns were well sauced. Some things I didn't like included the Szechuan beef, it lacked depth, and it was just too hot for my friends to eat. They really loved the fried rice and the sesame red bean balls. The scallion pancake everyone raved about was mid at best. I loved the curry sauce it came with, but it just was a mess to eat. The braised pork belly rolls were lovely, as was the cucumber salad, and the spring rolls. The Mongolian beef and the walnut dumplings were OK but nothing to write about beyond that they were basically flavorless. The cocktails were so so, but nothing that screamed for me to order another. The one highlight I will say is that they did come back to ask as if we wanted anything else multiple times. So I'm glad that they followed up on whether we want more food because some places just leave you be once they drop off. Maybe I'd give them another chance, but the answer is probably no... who knows. It was just generic, and imagining paying the prices that they had for not a $35 dim sum brunch per person, seemed egregious to me for such utterly mediocre food. So I guess I'm glad I came out on a Friday morning.

The food overall was delicious. Each of the entrees was flavorful and well prepared. Two things I want to mention: I thought the shrimp dumpling (3 of them) should have been a larger portion for the price and that the soup was a bit salty. Other than that, no complaints. After placing my order online, I called the restaurant to request plates, plastic ware and chop sticks. The friendly person on the phone assured me "no problem," and everything was received as promised. I had ordered a lot more food than I should have, and ended up having some for dinner, lunch the following day and late afternoon snack a day later. The entrees and rice held up well under repeat microwaving. I've been unimpressed by Peter Chang (eating at the testaurant) at another location in the past. I thought it was overpriced for what was typical Chinese food. I will likely try them out again after this experience. The food was much better than I remember it and seemed reasonably priced for the portions.

On day one, we wanted a light lunch to save room for dinner. We ordered the prawn with snow peas and wood ear mushrooms, along with the veggie pan-fried dumplings. Everything was incredibly light, fresh, and delicious! We paired it with the hot ginger honey tea, which was wonderfully flavorful and soothing. The staff was also so kind and accommodated our request for a quiet meal by seating us in a peaceful, closed-off section. On day two, we were craving those exact same flavors, so we re-ordered the prawn dish, the veggie dumplings, and the hot ginger tea--but this time, we added the beef lo mein. It was absolutely amazing! Honestly, it was the best lo mein we have ever had; we've never tasted anything quite like it. The food here is spectacular, and the service is incredibly accommodating that we forgot to take photos. Peter Chang will definitely be our go-to spot whenever we are back in Baltimore!
