I tried this salon because it's on the way home from work. I was a walk in. They indicated 30 minute wait which was acceptable to me. It was 50 minutes. I felt like I was in a slow motion movie. I didn't feel overly welcome. The technician was good. I wouldn't return just for the overall slowness of all the technicians and the vibe I got that they didn't really want more customers. It was 2 hours until closing, so not sure why they were so non-eager for customers. 3 people after me waited 5 minutes and left after being told it would be 40 minutes. I think they could tell they were moving in slow motion. read more

This place is awesome!! I've been living in W Cnty for almost 2 years and have been traveling back to N Cnty to get nail shop services. I am very picky about my eyebrows and hate risking disappointment. Today I decided it was time to find a nail shop close to home and walked pass this place after leaving Sally's. It's clean. It's reasonably priced. And they waxed my eyebrows to my satisfaction. That's all I wanted! I purchased a pedicure and eyebrow wax and it came to $33 total. $23 for the pedi and $10 for the wax. Not much different from the shop in N Cnty except their eyebrow waxes are $7. From my experience I know that is really cheap as most shops charge $10. Simon was very gentle and did a great job on my pedi! I will definitely ask for Cindy when I come back for an eyebrow wax! I'm so happy I found this place!!! read more

Do not go here! Unless, you want to do your own pedicure. The NAIL lady did not buff my feet at all. I politely asked her to buff them out and she refused. I approached the owner when another woman stopped me. I explained to her the situation. When both woman refused to take the time to quickly buff my feet, I said fine, I will do it myself. The nail woman handed me a buffer and I proceeded to buff my feet. Horrible experience. You are better off doing your own nails. read more

My 18 year old daughter came here to get her nails done before prom. The man who gave her the manicure cut her finger so badly it bled. The man went to get a towel to stop the bleeding & had to put pressure on it for quite awhile. NO first aid at all!! This was during cuticle trimming. As a young person, she had no idea how to handle the situation. Obviously taking advantage of her, he offered her $2 off!! When she returned home & told me the story, I was fuming!! I went back up there a couple of hours later (this was PROM- and we had to head to the hair salon!) , but was unable to bring her with me. I did, however, have pictures of her, and her bloody finger. I asked to speak to a manager when I got up there ( and I was completely calm the whole time!) & the woman at the front counter said she was. I explained the situation, showed her pictures& asked to have the injury documented. She acted like she had never seen my daughter & that the incident never happened! She then spoke ( not in English) to the man that gave my daughter the mani( my daughter described him to me & what he was wearing) again, he denied everything! I was appalled. She sounded confused (how convenient!!) when i asked for documentation! No incident report?? No insurance filing?? She continued to converse with the man in another language & PRETENDED not to understand me! She then gave me money back (which I never wanted!!) I travel for work and needed a pedicure within walking distance to my hotel. I stopped in here and was not disappointed. It is quaint and not terribly busy when I walked in (about 1:30 pm). There were about 4 ladies in there and the same number of workers. I was tended to right away. One of the reviewers were put off by a reusable emory board but I didn't see a problem with it. The place is clean enough. The tech did a great job with my pedicure (nails cut short, shaped evenly, scrub/moisturizing feet/legs, removing callus on my feet, and painting). The price was very reasonable and I would definitely go the there again. I didn't rate is five stars as it was more of a casual atmosphere and the colors were sufficient. read more

This is a horrible nail salon, i had been a customer here for a year. Last monday i came to done my fake nail, i made apoiment with Kevin at 1 pm. I came on time but he let me wait more than 1 hour. After that he done my nail in 15 munites. On the next day, 3 of my nail finger come off. I came to tell him about my nail, he said he will cost $6 for repair my finger nail. I don't live very far from here and I go there all the time to get my nails done. Only once have I had to wait for someone to be available and it was 5-10 mins. If I haven't been in a little while they always ask where I've been and have always been very friendly. You will not find a cheaper manicure and pedicure in town. I get the basic file and polish on my nails, and basic pedicure for about $40 with tip. If you are looking for a spa experience where you are offered a glass of wine, you won't get it here, it's in a strip mall, but if you want an inexpensive place to quickly pop in to get your nails done, this is where you want to go. read more

!Warning! This place was horrible. It starts with customer service. The two technicians were yelling in a different language to each other and talking about us. The bickering didn't stop. Now this brings us to the second point, the lady put a costumers phone call on speaker , unacceptable that could have been private. They were yelling at us and being very rough and vocal. One lady was hurting my nails and was not gentle. The gentlemen doing my toes scratched my feet none stop. and in a accent they were talking about how ugly my nails and toes were. Went in for a manicure last Sunday. By Tuesday, the polish started wearing badly and chipping at tips. I take it easy on my hands when I have a manicure so this was definitely not something I caused. During the manicure, I noticed the nail tech used water only instead of cuticle remover, she didn't smooth out the nails before applying a base coat which was a shiny polish that she used as a top coat also. During the entire manicure, the tech stopped every couple of minutes to admonish her daughter who she brought to work that day. I knew she was cutting corners and rushing because her daughter was distracting her. I went back on Wednesday to show them my nails. The lead tech said that they were chipping because of the color, because it is on fingernails, because it only should last a few days, anything except that it was just a bad job. She offered to paint over the chipped rough polish as a remedy. I said that would look like a mess and that it should be removed and re applied. She basically told me I was crazy if I thought they would do that. She also refused to reimburse me, although I showed my receipt. Naturally, I said I was really sorry to have wasted my time and money and was thinking about poorly reviewing Nail Art-her reply "go ahead" so here's it is. There are lots of nail salons around. I will change to one we're the techs arent rude and the quality is good. I have been coming to this nail salon for several years but will never go back. I will drive a bit further from here to I Care Nail Salon. The owner seems extremely appreciative of their customers. She is always there overseeing things and their mani/pedis have always been very good. read more

So I went to this nail salon for the first time on my 27th birthday and got my pink and whites done. They were sort of nice but the place was chaotic for me. Not that there were a lot of customers or anything, but the owner let his 3 yr old boy run around him while he's working on my nails. It didn't bother me so much at first but then he started messing up. He didn't ask me how wide i wanted them, he just kept filing the sides. And then, he just assumes on the length. And then he asks his wife to finish off my nails so he can get to another customer and she insulted me a little bit. She made small talk asking where my husband is from and what he does and I told her that he was Vietnamese and an Engineer... And then she asked me why he doesn't do nails... Hmmmmm. Whatever! Some lady did my nails and it was horrible! She didn't listen to the instructions I gave on how I wanted my nails. She also caused my skin to bleed because she was filing so hard and so carelessly. And when I told her what she has done she tried to ignore me. Here I am go hours later with a very sore burning finger. She rushed my nails. My thumb is way shorter than it needs to be compared to my other fingers because she was going so fast and just shipping.(I got an acrylic full set btw) the polish was horrible. She left spots and hairs from the brushes in my nails. And when I tried to get her to fix something she would yell "not done let me finish" and it never got fixed. And most of all, she asked me over and over who is going to pay for my nails and when. As if she thought I would run Out on her. I feel like it was because I'm black. Imagine getting asked every 10 minutes are you going to pay. I'm a teen so my mom payed but she wasn't in the shop. She dropped me off) before even polishing my nails she said "call your mom so she pay" Last but not least she would yank my hand hard often. And then tell me to relax.Old lady with a very bad attitude. I was stereotyped and put in a very uncomfortable situation. Nail tech became extremely upset and began yelling when I did not like my nails, asked for simple overlay and she decided that she would add length with the acrylic, it looked terrible and not at all what I asked for. When I asked her why she left a chuck of acrylic at the tip of my nail, she kept saying "don't worry hunny, I make it look good, just let me finish. I let her finish the first nail and it looked like I did my own overlay with my left hand. Things are already uncomfortable and on top of that she wanted to talk about how racist people are against Vietnamese people, I didn't know what to say in response so she became angry and continued to ask me racist questions. This is not my normal place. I walked in to get a new powder dip manicure was greeted right away, my nails were wrapped and then I sat there. The lady that started my nails disappeared. It was about 30 min later that the tech who was working on another customers nails while they were getting a pedicure (thats right 2 techs for one customer)came over to me and told me rudely that she would be right with me. My OG tech is still MIA at this point. As the rude tech was finishing with the pedicure customer here comes the OG tech from the back REALLY!!!!! The tech sat down with nothing as much as a "how are you today" "sorry for your wait". She was rather rough with my nails the color barely came off even after sitting there with the foil on for 30 min. At that point I decided that I was just going to have the color taken off and I would go to my normal place where they are nice and communicate with their customers. After reading some other reviews on this page I see that this is a common experience with this place! read more

This salon is HORRIBLE!!! I went in on a Saturday- and mind you, Saturdays are usually a busy day right? When I walked in there were only two people getting serviced (they were getting their feet done) and one person was waiting ahead of me to get her nails done. When I walked in, one of the Asian ladies asked me what I wanted and I said a gel layover. She repeated the question to me THREE TIMES like she could barely understand English! So I told her I wanted a gel manicure AGAIN and she told me it would be a 15-20 min wait. So I said ok. I sat down and waited. One of the other ladies finished up with the earlier pedicure and started on the customer before me. I looked around and it's a really nice, clean pretty place but I wondered why there were only two employees there. Two other people came in about 15 after me and decided to wait. So the second lady doing the pedicure finally got through and called me over. I sat down and she says "What you want?" I told her a gel layover. She said "You want manicure?" I said "No. Gel. Gel layover." I had to explain what I wanted with my hands. And then she took out some fake nails! I looked at the nails and said "I don't want fake nails! I want the gel layover. It goes over your nails. No fake nails!" She looked at me and said "Oh. We no have lady who does powder. She not here today. We don't do no gel." I was so frustrated! I said " How were you going to put theses nails on me if you didn't have the powder then?" She said "We don't have no powder for nails. I'm sorry." I just looked at her in disbelief and left. I waited for at least THIRTY minutes to not get service! How can a nail shop not have 1) the right materials and 2) not enough employees !!? Never going back there!!
