Literally, I WISH they were on the east coast as well! They did suchhhh an amazing and thorough job!! I felt that they really focused on overall good nail health as well as a beautiful finished aesthetic. My pedicure and manicure were not rushed, and I left feeling super relaxed, and with great looking nails. They have a whole range of services being offered, as well as great colour choices for gel, SNS and regular polish. I will DEFINITELY be back the next time I visit LA! They were able to fit me in pretty quickly after I called. Requested a gel manicure and the manicurist did a great job fixing my cuticles (it was a train wreck before). Gel manicure was $45 base which is pretty affordable for K-Town. There were some areas with slightly bumpier texture but think the speed of service and affordability evens it out. read more

The entrance to the parking lot for Nail Atelier is on Western Ave, which wasn't where Google Maps originally directed me. They have 3 massage chairs and 4 regular mani seats, and they have a wide variety of polishes to choose from, from regular to gel. The staff is efficient, nice, gentle, honest, & good at answering the phone, and they all wore masks & gloves for extra safety. The hand massage was so relaxing and lovely, I didn't want it to end! For a regular manicure, it took about 30 minutes and cost $20 before tip, which matched the pricing posted on the wall. Finally found a quality nail salon in LA that does not break the bank! The staff was so friendly and attentive, and they did a great job. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure- i was out in an hour but it didn't feel rushed at all, they made sure each nail was perfect. My tech advised to put a solid color underneath my original choice because the glitter I picked would come out more clear than pink. I appreciated her recommendation on this so that I wasn't disappointed by the color afterwards! The only critique I have is that the leg massage on the pedicure was short - basically just rubbed the lotion onto my legs, but that isn't a big deal. I'm definitely going to return to this salon and see how they do with a design/more elaborate nails. read more

My bestie and I are always in search of a new nail salon. We have had a couple that we go to frequently but sometimes it is way too overpriced or they just don't do a good job. My friend found this place and we have been going here for the past few months and honestly it has been great! My nails grow pretty fast and I am a teacher so gel nails usually are the best fit for me. With other nail salons.. my gel nails would fall off in a week or a little over a week. This place they last up to 3 weeks or longer!! That is amazing for me! Everyone is super detail oriented, which I LOVE! They all do a great job and they are all very friendly. Definitely under new management (owner). Not sure when they changed... seems like 6 or 7 months ago?? I haven't been doing my nails since pandemic started, but I wanted to start again. Made my appointment and went in as usually. Things definitely changed. New staff, new furniture, slightly different set-up, etc...but you can still see the prior owner's touch left behind. Still came out with good service and cute nails. My jewel on my nails were getting caught on my clothes and materials so I had to go back and fix it the next day. This is my go-to spot. Straight up. The polish is always on-pointe, they always check the details like shape and length match. Sometimes I bring in a picture of what I want, and they can always match the design. (I can get pretty crazy). They have a huge archive of nail art and 3D art, and boxes of nail decos. I almost always get the gel manicure which starts at $30 and it always lasts me 4-5 weeks. It's completely grown out and I always wait till it's unbearable to change it because it never chips or cracks or lifts. There's a TV that they play k-dramas or other Korean shows on, which is nice. The massage chairs are nice and clean and the general space is always tidy. The parking is shared with other businesses but there's a designated valet person that does not charge for valet services. This place earns a 100% satisfaction from me, every time. read more

Second time coming here and I won't be back; the first time, my nails came out okay because the designs I picked out were cute but this time it's even worse because of the simple polish. The first time my nails were really lumpy, particles of dust and hair stuck under the gel from old, dirty product and they started to peel and chip like regular polish within two days. I shrugged it off thinking maybe I just went on a bad day, and blamed the early peeling from working. No. This time the place was totally empty, they looked bored lol so I thought Id get great service. Hell no. The girl that did my toes stabbed me in the toe with how much she was rushing and my nails are even more lumpy than last time, obviously because there's still leftover gel from my last set under. These nails are already peeling as well and I'm on vacation, haven't lifted a finger and again it's only been a couple days. Just had my very first appointment today, I'm really happy with all the work I got done! I got a gel mani and Gina really took her time with my nails, she was always double checking her work, making sure it was absolutely perfect and that's exactly what she did! Perfect nails! I have a feeling my gel mani is going to last me a solid month so I went ahead and made an appointment while I was there. Everyone was Very polite and professional. I also got my upper lip done, and the lovely lady helping me out with my top lip made sure she got every little hair she could possibly get, she also took her time and was very sweet. I got a pedi and Brazilian wax done her. The girl who did my pedi, not sure what was her name, but she was blond. She did an okay job like in the whole cleaning my feet and cutting my nails. I've gotten pedicures done in other places and they really go into the nails and scrub off the dead skin. She just kinda washed them and termed the nails. For that I'm giving it a 4 star. Jenny did my brazilian wax and she was amazing. Did a great job and made me feel really comfortable, she also did the Christmas design on my toes. read more

I called for address confirmation and the woman answered in Korean, I don't speak Korean so that strike two. She was polite and switched to English once she noticed I didn't understand her. Third, I finally arrive to only be ignored even after I greeted them with an enthusiastic "Hi!" Then they looked me up and down and asked me what service I wanted and if I had an appointment. The woman's tone was clearly annoyed so I took my service elsewhere. I've never experienced anything as rude as this before, and if they were busy (which they weren't since there was no one waiting) they should've said so when I asked for directions.
