It takes a lot for me to write a negative Yelp review but after giving Nail Boutique a lot of business the last 3 times has been a nightmare. First, I had long beautiful natural nails, I just requested to put extra gel coat on to make them thicker. The nail tech recommended I do an overlay. They put acrylic on my real nail and destroyed them. So painful to get off. Then I had to put a full set on, the lady did a terrible job so I just went in to have them filed and as they are telling me to wait, I sit down in apparently a snot rocket. Absolutely disgusting. The cleanest nail salon I have found since moving here....the manis/pedis I have had here are are above average, but nothing stellar. Nail polish selection could be better. They are friendly and polite though. Prices are decent. If i could give zero stars i would. If you get rose as your nail tech you definitely wanna ask for someone else. She was sloppy and careless. Was upset that i was upset i didn't like my simple black French tip nails. This is the best nail salon I have been to in Vegas. $25 for gel set, $35 for the design. WELL worth it. They always come out cute and well done. Nail tech takes her time and makes sure it looks good and you like it! If you don't she changes it no problem! Her nails are always cute so I keep copying her design lol. I would give zero stars if I could. I'm having a hard time finding a good nail place in Vegas but this one shocked me. Never had worst service. I told the lady be careful because one of my nails might bleed from an accident I had and she said "I know how to do nails, don't tell me how to do them, blah blah blah,". I was in shock that she yelled at me. I asked Her to not speak to me like that and that I'm not telling her what to do just expressing my concerns. than I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said we can't do that. So I found another picture. I asked later if I can add chrome to one of my nails. She said no we don't have time. I asked what time they close and she said 7. It was 6 pm. I couldn't believe it. Than they didn't massage or add lotion, they don't offer to upscale cutting the cuticles, do they not want my money? I asked for lotion and applied it to my own hands. I usually pay 80 back home for my fills. I paid 43$ here. You pay for what you get. I'm a really good tipper too! I tip my lady back home 20$ and this time I can say I left no tip. The first time I have ever not left a tip. And it was because she was extremely rude and I don't play that. read more

I came here after going to a terrible salon on Eastern, I hated my nails. After a couple weeks of dealing with those hideous claws I decided to get them redone. I found the nail boutique, which is down the street from my house. I come in and the wonderful jack helps me. He listened to my rant of the other nail salon and he was extremely professional, detailed, I could go on and on. He worked wonders on those claws of mine and they turned out perfect. My friend and I decided to get a pedicure and we stopped in here since we were in the area. We were not greeted or really spoken to at all for the first half of our visit (not even by the people doing our pedicures). The second half, we were spoken too, but only to make personal inquiries about me and the fact that I had a jade bracelet on. The lady doing my pedicure became a little nicer at this point, asking me if I wanted to have my nails done as well. The overall pedicure was quick and not anything special. The price is very reasonable and the main thing that keeps me coming back is the fact they use sterile tools. Overall, my pedicure was fine. But a word of advice: if a customer requests nail art, and you cannot do it, please just be honest. The nail tech asked me how I liked her "art" and I was honest with her and said I didn't really care for it. I wasn't rude about it, but I didn't want to just suck it up. She got totally offended and started talking to herself out loud (in another language), but she didn't re-do it. So in the end, I sucked it up. I'm so frustrated. So I called in to make an apt at 5, when I walk in not only were they rude saying what do I want what do I want and that's when I said I made an appointment for 5 o'clock the news just said oh okay have a seat so long story short I asked 4 chevron nails turquoise and white and I even showed them a picture of it and two people is that okay Lana and some other guy and this was for an acrylic full set so as it's time for him to put the nail polish on he brings out gel turquoise please tell me why he painted The Turquoise first instead of white first so I had a bad feeling at this point. So then after he's done scrubbing them keeping them all turquoise when he's done with the turquoise she told me okay you're all done and that's when I said no no I'm not I asked for Chevron nails then he gave me this crazy look as if this is the first time I mention to Chevron nails mind you my boyfriend was with me at the time and even he had a button and say she's not paying for these nails she showed you a picture how much more clear can she get and that's when like this big argument broke out that I never asked for Chevron nails even though everybody still a picture even the customer behind me said those are cute I've had them before long story short it was the worst experience I've ever had I would never go back there and never recommend anyone to go there I never go on to Yelp but they made me go on to Yelp and complain cuz this is just ridiculous in the end they charge me $35 for shitty ass nails with one middle finger with a zig zag on it!! I received probably the worst manicure here ever. I was foolish enough to return a second time and it was even worse so I will certainly not be fooled a third time. There are so many other places to get your nails done - don't go here. Here are the details: the first manicure was so many coats of polish that it simply couldn't dry. It crinkled. I have never seen anything like it. A week later, upon returning, there was so much polish on it that the manicurist apparently didn't want to use the required amount of remover to take off all that polish, so he took out the electronic buffer tool that they use on acrylics and filed it off! My nails are thin now and will need to be short to the quick until my natural nail grows out. See what I mean? Stay away. read more

This was my second time to this salon and the level of customer service still appears exceptionally low. Trip #1.To start, the first visit i asked for a simple mani-pedi. I went a little late, around 6:20pm-ish and they close at 7pm. So i figured that they rushed me through because of this. My mani-pedi was over in 15 minutes. A quick filing of my nails, cutting of my cuticles, and slapped on some polish and out the door i went. Trip #2. HORRIFYING! This time i went at 1:30pm and i was the only one there. I requested a gel manicure and she was more than happy to do this at $35 a pop. Things started off bad from the beginning! She CUT me 3 times and my cuticles bled profusely! It was to the point that she made me get up and wash my hands because of the blood. I should have just stopped the manicure there, but unfortunately i didn't. My mistake! After my fingers temporarily stopped bleeding, she began to apply the gel. She was extremely sloppy with the gel polish and got it on my skin. When I told her my skin was burning where she had gotten the polish on it, she rubbed some chemical all over my skin making the burning even more excruciating! I again informed her and she looked at me like i was crazy! She just went about finishing my manicure like nothing was going on. Once all the gel was on and my fingernails were curing under the light, she left me to work on another client. She put on gloves and worked on her pedicure. To my HORROR, she came back to check on my nails still with the GLOVES on from her other client, never taking them off or washing her hands! She then rubbed alcohol over my nails, opening up the cuts on my cuticles, making my fingers bleed again! She continued to rub lotion over my arms and nails and then just walked away after muttering for me to rub the rest of the lotion in for myself. She never came back to check on me or give me further direction, so i got up paid my $35 without a tip and left, NEVER to return! Once i was home and really inspected my nails, none of the white tips are even symmetrical and my nails are all filled at different lengths! Beware of this place! Hygiene and cleanliness seem to be of no concern to these people! This place has huge potential for a nasty infection! read more
