I absolutely love it here. I've never had a bad experience and they shape your nail to your request perfectly. EVERYONE THERE IS AMAZING !!! Me, my sis and Mom started seeing Amy nearly 15 years ago when she was at a Salon on Robertson & Beverly Blvd. When she and her sister left to open The Nail Boutique in Sherman Oaks, there was NO QUESTION that we would follow. No big deal for me, since I live in the valley. But my Mom, who lives in L.A. (and could go to any one of over 100 nail salons in the city), makes the trip to Studio City every two weeks for her porcelain fill from Amy. That says a lot! Amy and The Nail Boutique staff are the nicest, sweetest, customer-service oriented nail salon staff I have ever experienced. I cannot get enough of this place. I live in Hollywood and I won't go anywhere else. My nails last for weeks EVERY TIME. Not to mention it's so clean, they have every color you think of and a whole entire ZOYA nail color wall. I loved this place when I first went. The place is clean and comfortable, with a fantastic assortment of trashy magazines. I found the women to be attentive and very sweet. Why did I give it three stars then??? Well, they cut a few of my toenails WAY too short. In fact, my pinkie toe has swollen up to the size of a small grape. A friend of mine mentioned The Nail Boutique and suggested Amy or Kim service me and I was pleased with how professional and courteous the girls were.I'm a guy but very picky and I've had most of the girls service me now with great results.Recently I was there and the salon has been remolded and expanded- it's done with some nice style and class! I never felt rushed out once my nails were done and you always get a nice little hand and foot massage. You can get a little extra time on the massage for a reasonable price-and I do it's worth it! I've had my nails done there ever since and you've gotta love Amy she's a sweetheart! They offer a lot of other things for the lady's like waxing and eyelash extensions but I'll leave that to you girls. Oh my gosh..love this place! I walked to several nail salons at 9:15 am on a Saturday and they all only had one person working. Walked into this one and got seated immediately! I was seated with J.C. Who is the sweetest girl ever. They had a great selection of gel colors, which is a change from my old salon. jc was very personal and did a fabulous job on my nails. Upon leaving, I realized I did not have cash for a tip so I told the lady I was going to run to the ATM and she let me add it into my total so I didn't have to worry about parking again! I was really impressed that she went above and beyond to help me out. That is great customer service. Update: I visited the salon again and took my mother who was visiting from out of town. Excellent service! Silvie automatically applied 3 coats to make sure the gel was even, we were both pleased with the work! --- I am new to the area and have been on a hunt for a good nail salon with little to no luck. I've been to the Nail Boutique once or twice before and thought they did an okay job, but nothing to write home about. Then yesterday I had Aileen! She was awesome. She helped me select a good nude for my skin tone and my gel manicure looks amazing. She took care when she was filing and you can tell, my nails look incredibly even and natural looking. Called an made same day appt, asked for best person to do coffin shape full set and pedi. Pedicure was good, no complaint there. Had Full set done by Terisse who didn't know what coffin shape is. 1st was doing oval than asked if its almond when I said wrong shape. Had to shape my own nails for her several times. Had me move from spa chair I paid for to regular seat for her own comfort... I didnt mind cuz I thought it would be quicker(wasn't)...she said she would be done in 20 mins when I said I am running later than I needed to be out(told them at start, "I need to leave at 2, is that ok?" Was assured it was. She took 45 mins from that point... no time to eat thanks to that. Took her over an hour after my pedicure was done. I appreciate honesty and respect for my time, being told they will finish at 2 than me running out at 2:40, told 20 mins but turns to 45.... not ok. I am a mother of two babies and this is exactly the reason I dont have time to take care of myself. I was late to my appointment which was booked 2 hours after nail appt. Girl is leaving town for a month. Not happy. To top it off, when I sat in car other than my nails being all crooked looking and not evenly coated... I already had a chip im the polish. Spend a fortune on gel over my acrylic souly to avoid these things. Not worth the money spent, feel like I had no relaxation due to seeing I was gunna be late and slow work. Could be the girls off day, but it threw my day off and I was upset enough to write this long rambling review. read more

The staff was very friendly, except I feel that it is kind of rude when they were talking in korean or whatever right in front of me & laughing the whole time. The man who did my nails was quick which was great and he did a great job on my nails... I liked them but then not even 4 days later they were already peeling up on the sides & by the 5th day one fell off & then the 6th day the rest were badly peeling off so I had to take them all off... bummer that they didn't even last for a week. I love this place! Amy is the receptionist and sort of like a hostess, bringing water and taking the time to get to know your name. The staff are all really sweet, no grumps here. And a gel manicure lasts at least two weeks longer than another places. And they give great back and neck massages! AND the prices are reasonable. It's very clean too, and they don't have televisions, which I love. My daughter's toe was cut when I took her there and they have her a free pedicure that day and a certificate for a free manicure her next visit- best customer service ever. I've been going to nail boutique to get my eyebrows done for about 8 years. I used to live near studio city and found them by chance. Ever since my first visit Diane has been waxing my eyebrows. Before I found nail boutique whoever I went to butchered my eyebrows and made them curvy and uneven. Diane has done the most excellent job throughout the years of keeping my eyebrows straight and the correct amount of thickness. This place was suggested to me by a friend. Every time I saw her nails she always had the cutest designs. She said to ask for David and that he could do almost any design you want. I made an appointment with him and she was right! The salon is decently priced and David did an awesome job. He takes his time on your nails and makes sure your happy with his job. My gel nails have never lasted so long. My nails grew so long I felt like I had acrylics! David is the best! Make sure you call in advance because everyone always requests him. read more

Nail Boutique saved my sanity!!! I am so glad I went on yelp and found this place. I had just had nail art go horribly awry and needed to find a place to undo the catastrophe that was my nails. I had gone to 7, yes seven different nail salons that could not do the design I wanted. I called and at the other end of the phone was the sound of an angle and her name is Josephine. She was awesome and had such a calming and inviting voice when she picked up the phone even after I was stressing out. She was friendly and told me to come on by so she and her nail tech could look at the picture of what I wanted done. Again she had this very calm aura about her. She smiled and did not look scarred by the design like the previous nail salons. She took the picture to the second angel that is Becky, she looked at it and with much confidence said she could do the design. Becky rose to the challenge and did an amazing job, I could not stop giggling cause I loved my nails so much. I love Halloween it is my holiday above the rest so when my Halloween nails looked like a April fools joke I was beyond upset. However with Becky and Josephine's help I am able to show off my nails with much pride. Thank you so much Becky for doing an amazing job that I could ever had hoped for and to Josephine for being calming and helpful person in the eye of my panic. They do this laquer dip thing that really makes my nails look natural, without creating any weird thickness. I always get my mani/pedis last minute so I'm always a walk-in client and even when every single person is busy with a client I still only wait 20 minutes before being seen. I've done spa mani/pedi which I love because the chairs are massage chairs and they'll do your toes and nails at the same time so it's quick and comfortable! I've had regular polish and gel done too- I have no complaints! Even if I chip a nail I can come in and Amy will always quickly fix it. Nail Boutique has been my go to place for a few years now! I've been going here for many years now! I'm very picky when it comes to nail salons so when I'm happy some place, that says a lot for me! Amy and Joann (the ladies running the front) really understand customer service! They are extremely understanding and helpful when someone asks for something, needs something different, etc. I used to make appointments but with my busy schedule, I can only just walk in nowadays and I have never waited more than 5-10 minutes on their busiest days! They are very well staffed and any chance I've taken with their manicurists, they have all been excellent. Everyone is friendly, professional and really gives their best! Most nail salons lie to you about wait times, or when you're asking for something specific, they nod but seems like they do the opposite. The staff here is so wonderful in that regard! I love the Nail Boutique! I've only had maybe 1 or 2 unpleasant experiences in the past year; not a major faux paus, just a paint job I wasn't too happy with. I love the ambiance & the staff.
