For the record - i am extremely picky about my nails and I had a great experience. I went to Tiffany. She was kind, personable and very detailed! She didn't hurt or cut my cuticles which is very common at nail salons. She was gentle and took her time. When she did my French tip she made sure I liked each one before curing them. I highly recommend her specifically, however there were a few women that came into the salon and they were regulars, so I can tell this is the place to go. Excellent service and clean establishment. I travel from far to get the service I need. They are close to the F&G lines and the 68,69 and 35 bus service, and you can always find parking. We spent the weekend in NY my boyfriend me and his daughter and were looking for a nail salon this happened to be right around the corner from our Brooklyn Air BnB and it didn't disappoint. I'm kind of hard to please when it comes to my nails but I was so beyond pleased when I left. More importantly the child mentioned is only 11 so I really really wanted age appropriate nails while being able to give her her first set at the same time. And they executed this flawlessly. They were short round and elegant they were a very soft pink and you could barely tell they were not hers I was beyond grateful for this. To sum it up I truly would recommend them for anyone who wants to get their nails done. I should mention we did dip manicures which was hard to find in NYC in general. I'm updating my review because I e been here multiple times and their work is great - I love coming here but twice I've called, asked what time to come in and I arrive at the time they advise. The first time this happened, my sister and I waited for over an hour and only I ended up getting my nails done because she was still waiting for over 30 minutes until she decided to leave because we didn't have time. The second time I called and asked what time is my mail technician goin to be available and I arrive at the time suggested. I wait an additional 45 minutes and am still waiting. I ended up having to leave because I didn't have enough time to get my nails done as I had other plans. Someone there said next time I should call and I told her that I did just that but even calling doesn't make a difference. Best time to arrive is when they just open their doors. I'm so glad I did!!! They have exceptional service!!! The place is so clean and so luxurious. The nail techs are very well trained and listen to all requests! They offer really good prices and really nice designs. They can do any design you want. I'm so happy that they have expanded and that I now have more locations to go to! Absolutely horrible experience. I had called to walk in to get my toes done at around 7:45pm and just to make sure that there was a space for me to be takin care of I called in advance. The man on the phone said they're open and have space for an acrylic toe service. As I was opening the door to the salon he abruptly raised his voice and told me that they were closed and he couldn't offer me service as I was trying to explain that I was the person that called on the phone.He proceeded to repeatedly say that he's closed. He is very rude and a liar I understand if it was close to 9pm but I had walked in at exactly 8 o'clock. FINALLY my neighborhood has an amazing nail salon. I typically drive to bay ridge to their other location on 4th ave. the salon is so clean and comfortable. they offer you snacks and drinks as well. As far as the staff i have yet to ever encounter a bad service. I'm a hairstylist and my hands are always in chemicals and water and i'm always on my feet and i never have any chipped or broken nails and can even stretch my fill to 4 weeks without any issues. 10/10 recommend this place. they are lovely and just what this neighborhood needed. they do nails, waxing, facials and eye lashes. check them out you won't be disappointed. read more

His tone was so belittling. And what's worse it has been close to 2 months and the burn scar hasn't faded. This isn't my arms or legs. It's literally my face. Something everyone can see. I came in to soak off my acrylic gel nails. Instead of properly soaking them off with foil and acetone, the lady who did them chose to take the painful damaging short-cut using a fake plastic fingernail tip and sliding/wedging it under the acrylic in between my fake nail and natural nail to physically pry it off. This is a HUGE red flag when it comes to nail salons. This was followed by her drilling the top of my natural nails. Any solid nail salon / nail tech would know that taking them off like this really damages your natural nails, causing layers of your own keratin to be stripped away. This left my natural nails brittle and cracked (and im not a frequent acrylics wearer either so my natural nails are usually very healthy after removal). It is imperative that acrylics be removed properly. It is clear that they are either comfortable with taking short cuts that damage nails in favor of saving time, or are untrained. Both of which are unacceptable. No amount of aesthetic interior and free snacks/ water makes up for this. read more
