I'm really not sure how this place doesn't have 5 stars. Called at about 6:55 p.m. and asked what time do they take their last client the pleasant guy on the phone said 7 p.m. and I told him I was across the street I could be there soon and he said no worries they would wait. I get there and they are pretty much cleaning up but still made me feel welcomed. The tech who did my toes was so sweet and took her time to make sure it was perfect no matter the time. At the end she even gifted me the new pair of nail file and buffer that she used on me. I loved my pedicure will definitely be returning! read more

I went in on Labor day for a powder refill. I let the owner know that 2 more of my friends were coming in and I wanted all of us to be seated at the same time so that we finish at the same time. She said, "Okay. Dont worry." When my friends came in, they had to be seated until somebody freed up to do they services. Horrible service. The nail lady didn't do my nails they way I wanted them. I asked for a narrow square and she gave me crooked square nails. Each one looks different than the other and I can see scratches on top from nail files. They're also too thick. And I was charge $40 for a refill when regular price is $25 everywhere read more

I have never in my life had such a horrible pedicure. I first had cold water, then she broke my toe nails, cut them uneven, massaged for 5 minutes instead of the promised 20, then told me I had to cute all my toe nails to the bed, I told her no, and she continued to do it, causing me to bleed on 3 different toes. Went in for a Pedi and Mani, and the service was horrible. The lady who did my pedi seemed like she had no idea what she was doing, and did cuticle cutting last, which made no sense. The polish application was horrible, several stroke lines on all toes. The lady that did my Mani forgot to give me a message, and to apply a collagen treatment I requested; she simply gave it to me and said to apply it at home. She sleep seemed distracted and was constantly doing something in between giving me the mani. Message was given after polish was applied to my hand nails. I have gone to this salon for year. Not the fanciest but they have always done a great job. Today I went and had the worst manicure and experience ever. I wanted a regular pedicure with nail polish . I was asked roughly 10 times if I wanted gel or dip. It was the most stressful experience. They started to put tips on my daughter and almost refused to to a regular manicure. If you have are not comfortable with confrontation and sticking up for yourself I suggest you do not go or you will walk out in acrylics. Beware of the regular manicure your nails will be so short it's frightening. read more

I've been going to Nail Depot for close to a year until just recently. Previous times, I would get the dip powder and tips added, and my nails would literally last 3 to sometimes 4 weeks without any issues besides needing a basic fill. The past two times I went, a had the guy on the middle-far manicure table do my nails. The first time, he did what I requested (dip powder with tip). After about a week, I noticed the nails started to come off from the sides and top of the nail. I made an appointment for about a week later for a fill. I got there early and the manager/owner started working on my nails. She was very nice and noticed my nails coming off right away. She realized that I was not even in two weeks ago and mentioned that the quality wasn't right. I told her who did it, and she said it wasn't good quality and that she would have him fix it. He started fixing my nails blaming me that it might have been my fault for picking dip powder nails. I told him that I never told the manager anything that would get him in trouble, and that she noticed them herself. He was pretty passive aggressive and said if they started to come off again after a week, he would do them for free. Well, about a week later I noticed the sides starting to come up AGAIN. I'm not going to go get my nails done there again. The manager/owner was very nice, however, I don't want to have to keep going there every two weeks in fear that my nails might pop off after a week. read more

I stopped in here while I was getting my tire changed over at Discount. Really the only great thing about this place was that they were quick to seat me and get me in. Aside from that, my pedicure was poorly executed. The water was cold when I put my feet in and the service options were limited. Just for a classic, basic pedicure I paid $ 40!! Even with regular nail polish, not gel, no designs. And quite frankly my toes look as if they were painted by a 9 year old. I've been coming here for many years, so many that I can't remember exactly. They truly do the best pedicures of anywhere else I've been. Hands down! You can get a basic pedicure, but they have several specialty pedicures to choose from also. The same specialty pedicures available at the fancy resorts without the resort price. I can usually walk right in and be take care of right away, but sometimes they're busy and I have to wait a short time. I do t mind waiting at all. For me, it's only a testimony of how good they are to see that they are busy. I highly recommend them. read more

Learned a lesson on my recent visit...ASK and CONFIRM the price before having the service done...OR you'll end up with all sorts of $5 extras here and there that they tacked onto your bill. I have to agree with the previous reviewer. Nail Depot has jumped the shark in what I can only guess is an attempt to battle the downturn in the economy. While the work done in the salon is far above average, the owner of the joint has perfected the Full Court Squeeze when it comes to pushing every add on available without the benefit of pricing transparancy. Can you say no to it all? Sure. Does having to make for a really uncomfortable hour or so in the chair? You betcha! I think a lot of businesses have taken this tack when battling a decline in business, but I'm particularly bummed Nail Depot did. Overall I had had such good experiences there but the change in the air is palpable. And that's only supposed to happen in horror movies. Or something like that. read more

Always great service at Nail Depot! I used to live right across the street, and frequented this nail salon. I moved a year ago and I had not been back until tonight. I found myself with a Sunday evening free and every nail salon near my home closed. I figured I would drive up and even though the hours say they close at 5, they took me at 5:45! I was a little afraid that my pedicure would be rushed and sloppy, but I really wanted one so I took the chance. So glad I did! The man took his time(over an hour!) and did an excellent job. I chose pedicure #2 which included callus removal, sea salt scrub, and a 15 minute lower leg massage. The cost was higher than I have paid elsewhere, $37 before a tip, but I am a very happy customer. The first time I went I had a decent experience even though I made an appointment and it ran 15 minutes late. The second time I went the lady cut my thumb REALLY bad. I went back 5 days later to get a pedicure with my mom and I wanted to get two of my nails fixed (just didn't like the color combo I picked) so I made and an appointment for 2 pedicures and 2 fills. Well the lady that did my feet hurt my big toe I winced in pain and told her it hurt where she was cutting it. Today (next day) my toe is swollen and red and it is sore. My mom got her nails done and I had to wait for her to be done for them to start on my nails even though I made an appointment. They kept taking walk ins instead of fixing my nails. Yikes. I came here to get a gel pedicure and the guy was nice and sat me down and had me pick out my color. The pedicure part was average. The lady started painting my toes and I wasn't paying attention. After she had the first coat on I realized the color was not what I picked out and it wasn't even gel. I asked multiple times is this gel and she said yeah but it definitely isn't. When she was done she moved me to a nail station. I figured she was letting me dry before checking me out. But then she sat down to do my nails and got very offended when I told her I didn't want a manicure. When I got home I realized the color had changed from a dark pink to a very pale pink. Turns out she put temperature changing polish on which is absolutely awful. After taking a closer look, the work she didn't look awful. I am better off taking this polish off and doing it myself. I went in shortly after the lockdown to get a Mother's Day pedicure . The owner I believe was very disoriented and kept taking appointments yet was off schedule . She could have gotten me done in 30 minutes but kept walking around even though I made an appointment. I get it they were short staffed but my time is my time . She hurt me and did a horrible job . Oh man, I have had mixed experiences here. I went last Friday with my sister in law and it was not good. I have gone other times though, and it was fine. So last Friday was a 1 star experience, but the other times have been 4. So average about 2.5 Here is what I like- It is a nice big and clean place. The tubs all have disposable liners which make me feel beter. Also, It is close by. I also like how they set a timer and give you a long massage. I love how you get your legs cleansed with oranges. It leaves a nice tingly feeling on your leg. They also do a good job of removing dead skin and calluses off your feet. I have also never had to wait long. What went wrong- Every time, I get a #2 pedicure, which includes a longer massage, callus treatment and other extras. My sister in law got a #1 which is just the basics. Well, mine was finished like 10 minutes before hers even though I was supposed to get extra. My lady set the timer for 15 minutes, and later i saw that my massage was supposed to be 20 minutes. Besides the callus treatment, I did not see any difference for paying 13 dollars more. This made me really mad. They were also rude to my sister in law. They cut her and kept trying to make excuses that she had a hang nail. The man painting her nails was also very rude to her. He made comments about how much glitter she wanted and did not listen to her when she was explaining how she wanted them painted. It left a really sour taste in my mouth. I really feel like its too expensive there compared to other places, so I will keep searching for another place. read more

I have visited this salon regularly for several years...I'm always able to get right in even without an appointment. The environment is classy and clean, staff is friendly and efficient. I love the extra thought that goes into their basket of organic exfoliants....fruits,flowers and seasonal touches make it very special! I came here on a Sunday morning and didn't have to wait too long which was nice. I got a full set with white gel polish and when I left the salon and my nails looked nice and I was pleased but less than a week later they they had a blackish/brown cast over them that made them look dirty no matter how much I washed them it wouldn't come off. I love how my nails turn out each time I go, and they make sure my massage is at least 15 minutes. I usually get a pedicure and gel manicure and they do them both at the same time so I don't have to be there even longer. The employees are great and very hard-working, but the owner/manager is ridicilous. She once chased my sister down in the parking lot after she said she couldn't wait. I have been going here for a few months and they do a great job! Their customer service is outstanding. I came here about 3 weeks ago and didn't like my nails. They looked really bumpy. I brought it up to the girl working there and they fixed it. Most places aren't willing to do that. They also give you a 10 day guarantee for all of their gel or shellac manicures. I just went yesterday and my nails look fantastic. They really go out of their way to make customers happy! I am a really picky client so I don't just hand out stars. I popped in during my lunch break to have a regular manicure. The nail tech attempted to persuade me into a gel manicure several times even though I kept politely declining. She appeared to be mad that I didn't go for the higher priced option even though I paid more for a manicure than usual. The french manicure I received was terrible, the tips were clumpy and had chips, she also left polish on my fingers. I had her correct 1 nail because it was so obvious but overall I was very disappointed. I felt that because I did not agree to the gel I received a lesser service. There are many nail salon options out there and I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Went in for a polish change and they told me it was $10. No problem. Then the 'owner' or manager came up to me and said, "We will clip your cuticles also" I said Thank you. The job was done and I went up to pay and they said it was $20. OMG I could have gotten a total pedicure for that. What a ripoff. read more
