This is absolutely, positively one of my favorite nail shops. But it's hard to say why. They won't have you pick from a stocked fridge of tiny beverages upon your arrival. The decor looks cozy but humble. It can be a little dim in places, and the ventilation could use a little work because the polish smell gets strong after awhile. So I haven't sold you yet, have I? I know. I'm getting there. These women who work here are just so efficient and dependable. They do their work fastidiously and apologize quickly for even the slightest thing, like when there were only two of them working and their main line rang. The ahjumma taking care of me glanced up at me worriedly and held out her hands. "So sorry," she said, while rushing to get the phone. And then apologized again when she returned. It took no longer than a few moments, and it didn't hurt my experience at all. But it was earnest - like she knew this wasn't the fanciest shop you could come to, but she wants to make sure you have as good a time as you can. And speaking of a good time, if you end up getting a pedicure, get the Callus Eliminator. I know. The name of this pedicure menu item sounds more like a 90s Arnold Swartei...Swarthf...you know who. It sounds like one of his films instead of a nice spa experience. But after walking about all summer in sandals, my feet take a pretty brutal beating. And after these women are done, these tootsies get as soft as babies. And the exfoliant leg and feet massage? Brings ASMR shivers for me every dang time. They're incredibly detail oriented, and I've never had a bad nail job, even with colors that don't take kindly to weird brush swoops. But these women lean closely over my feet and you can tell how hard they're working to make it look just right. I've never had a bad job. But if I did, I'm sure they'd do a fine job apologizing. read more

I have been to this establishment before and left a great review. Unidentified today I can't do that becIse the service was awful. Went to get a pedicure finally after over a year and doing them myself. I wanted this pedicure so bad and instead of getting the service I deserved, I got service that WAS RUSHED and lacked effort in all things spa. A pedicure should be relaxing and the representative should be taking there time. Of course not slow but not rushed. The rep I had did not cut my cuticles right leaving left overs, rubbed each leg 3 times, not massaged at all with the scrub and lotion, put a too hot towel on my leg (I told her it was too hot to which she ignored), then went to polish. (7 mins at this point) I stopped her to ask her could she cut the rest of my cuticles and her reply was, "Wait I will get to it after." (As she bilegins to polish.) I asked why do I need to wait. She continued answering in a rude disrespectful tone. I decided that since this representative was having a hard time prpviding me the service I deserved she could stop. I told her I did not want a rushed pedicure. She interrupted me while I spoke to her to tell her my requests so I paid and left. I will NOT bring my friends back or recommend a place that should be peaceful, that will not provide the best service. Especially if we paid our hard earned money. Very disappointed. Never in my life had I have this quick of a pedicure. The massage lasted less than 1 min. When I made a comment about it, the technician just kind of brushed it off. A lot of nail polishes that I wanted were dried out, too. I went with a friend who never had a pedicure before and his comment was "good to know that I can squeeze in a pedicure if I only have 15 min to spare." Um... I asked for square coffin but more so square, my index finger isn't even shaped. I feel really bad for writing this review but the more i think about how much I paid for this mess I get angry. My coworkers are really laughing and joking about how hideous my nails are .... Also, it took her 2hrs do this... so if you're going to get a new set wit S&S I don't recommend going here ... It was horrible. DO NOT GO THERE! When I was talking to the nail lady she didn't understand one question I was asking. I clearly said that I think she just doesn't understand my question and nobody wanted to help. She hurt me many times and did a HORRIBLE job. I asked for my nails to be straight and had to point out all the obvious mistakes she made. As she didn't understand me she just made it worse and worse and at one point I just left because she literally ruined my nails. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! read more

My husband told me about this place roughly a year ago. He was leaving Arden's Garden and someone from the salon gave him a card. I never went. Ooops. Fast forward to a week ago, my neighbor graciously gave me a gift certificate to try the salon out for a free manicure. She and I went today and here's my rationale for the 5-star rating. 1. My technician was personable, friendly, and not overly talkative. I enjoy a bit of small talk, but I come here to not only get my nails done, but just to relax. 2. It's a cute salon with a large color selection. I usually get regular polish and there were tons of colors to choose from. 3. CLEAN!!! OMG!!! The manicure tools came from a sanitized package or, in some cases, were brand new (like the nail file and buffer). Guys, isn't that so important?? Who wants to use a file and buffer that's been used on dozens upon dozens of toes. Eeeek! 4. The complimentary beverages were a nice added touch and definitely quenched my thirst. So yeah, I plan to return and will actually try to get my husband in here to have his feet worked on. Ha! read more

Update: While I like this salon the last 3 visits I've been turned away stating they're too busy i. E. Under staffed. I've come on different days and times. Today is a Monday afternoon and I was asked to return later. They were helping 4 people and I saw only 2 employees. Perhaps there were more somewhere but I only saw 2 working. I've been coming here since the week they opened so it is very disappointing to be turned away multiple times and it's also bad for the business. Sadly I'll have to find another nail salon that staffs for growth. ---------- I've been going to this nail salon for about a year and truly enjoy it for these reasons 1. People: the ladies that work here are so kind and thoughtful. They remember me every time I walk in and ask me about things we spoke about the last time I was there several weeks prior. 2. Cleanliness: very important for a nail salon. It's always clean and there practices are sanitary 3. Options: they have color options galore! Multiple brands, and incredible colors in regular gel and sns. The application of the laquer is excellent 4. Hospitality: they offer beverages with options of water wine coffee etc. 5. Cost: I was there yesterday and learned prices are increasing. I don't think it'll make them more pricey than the others in the area but probably consistent in price. I've visited several nail salons in the vinings area. Though the shop is a little small I went on a Thurs afternoon so it wasn't to packed. I could forsee Saturday's being hectic if you don't call ahead. I got an sns manicure and callus remover pedicure. Very attentive and a variety of colors to choose from. Pedicure massage was great. A real massage and great callous removal without pain. Soak off was with tool and foil. (Which I prefer compared to nails in a bowl of acetone). My first time at this nail shop was on Friday August 10, very pleasant staff and nice clean atmosphere. Whew they are pricier than most nail shops in the area however their quality of work makes up for that. I got a fill in w/ gel polish ( $35) and a pedicure w/ calluses remover ($40) I haven't decided if I'll be returning or not because for $75 I can get a jelly pedicure & fill in with gel somewhere else for much less and still receive the same level of service. read more

I truly wanted to give this nail salon more than two stars but I can't. I've had every pedicure from the deluxe to the basic. The same for my nails, from SNS polish to regular polish, basic manicure to most expensive. Every service received has been subpar. On one occasion, the lady cut my cuticle too low to were it bled. She didn't do anything to make it stop. It was as if she didn't care. I literally had to make her stop so I could go wash it off & take care of it. Recently, I got regular polish. In less than 24 hours, my nails were chipping. Old polish, I'm guessing. And I didn't do anything like wash dishes that would make it chip. I was on a plane for a wedding. I really tried to like this place because it's convenient to my house but it's just not worth the time or money. read more

I booked a semi-last minute appointment via Yelp based on the other excellent reviews of this shop. My friend and I arrived for our appointment shortly after opening. We were greeted by Ann and sat down for individual consultations for our service. This is hands-down the most welcoming nail salon that I've ever visited in Atlanta. We were offered complimentary coffee or bottled water while we soaked in the pedicure chair. I had the pleasure of having Wendy (nails) and Betty (toes) complete my services. They shared stories from their initial arrival to the United States filled with jokes and laughter. The technicians are extremely personable and very attentive to the needs of their customers. Prices are comparable to other salons in the area, but the charm of this place is priceless. This was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. read more

I agree with fellow yelpers, this shop is small and I would most definitely recommend an appointment.
