It's hard to photograph, but the paint color is uneven and the edges are jagged and already chipping after one day. I got a sns manicure and I asked for my nails round. The woman made them totally square and when I asked her to fix it she basically just refiled them square but slightly shorter. They ended up still square but not even straight. Like a bad slanted square. I will say that the women at the front desk were really professional and nice. Unfortunately my manicure and pedicure just weren't good. read more

Apparently gloves are not used there by anyone‍... the manicurist that was working on my mother was argumentative and rude. I did like my pedicure but it was done by another nail tech. The girl who did my nails was way too pushy. I wanted a normal pedicure but she basically forced me to do gel... and she was weird about the color I wanted. I'd pick one and she'd be like "nooooo"... this went on for way too long and she tried to push black polish on me. I said I didn't like it, I wanted light but she was too pushy. She even painted a toe black to try to convince me. I was so tense and frustrated the entire time. She insulted the stuff I liked and basically wanted to do her own thing. I didn't even finish my pedicure because she took too long pushing ugly colors on me. I spent $50 for the worst pedicure of my life. My big toes are two extremely different lengths too. Went in for a full set of acrylics. Manicurist cut me up all over the edges of my acrylics. It hurts so much still two days after since the cuts are so deep. She managed to glue my skin to the acrylics and and then file it down and cut me up all around my nails. Told owner. No apologies, no caring, no questioning the manicurist, no observing my nails to see what she did. Just a "discount" and a rebuttal of how this particular manicurist is always requested. I had to pay still a total of $40. I do not recommend anybody here and of course I will never be going back. Novices and zero customer service. Response to owner: You're the one fabricating, not me. I was more than respectful considering the circumstances of me being the customer and your employee cutting open wounds around my fingernails with bleeding everywhere. Upon reading the other one star reviews with complaints similar to mine, and your insensitive and rude comments towards your customers, makes me feel better that I'm not the one lying or the one with the issue. Sadly, you are. As far as your response it's a flat out lie, there were barely 3 customers when I came, all of which left before I did and the few new customers that were there came after I confronted you about your lousy employee, so they couldn't have said anything about me. Go check yourself and take some responsibility on your part instead of biting the hand that feeds you. I didn't cause any scene or even say anything to your employee who should be fired for what she did to me. And I was bleeding multiple places. My thumb still has a deep open wound caused by your employee who you choose to "protect" at the expense of losing valued customers not to mention your so called business. Go take some business classes and customer service lessons. You desperately need them and a reality check, too. Do you see from the point of view of your customers? That they are paying you their hard earned money to get some much needed pampering and a nice nail job? Or is it all about sorry you and your business and your crying about all that you do for your business based on your other comments to your customers? I've been to this place several times and most of the time it's fine. This time I was very disappointed. I got a gel manicure with holographic powder on Sunday August 4th. Since it's a gel manicure I obviously expected it to last at least 2 weeks. Not a week later (today August 9th) the topcoat on two nails partially peeled off. I paid 60.00 for this service and it didn't last at all. I'm super disappointed because when one pays that much on a gel mani, I should get my money's worth and have it last longer. Used to come here for my nails but stopped after my mom was disrespected and discriminated against. They no longer wanted to service her with her usual tech because they put new clients ahead of her since they were looking out for their profits. Not to mention their receptionist, Cairo, is extremely rude and unprofessional. She has a serious attitude and will let it be known when she speaks to you. I see my experience with this place is similar to others. I had an appointment for 1015. At 10 o'clock I'm crossing the street, heading towards the place. I get a call berating me for being late. I'm not late, my appointment is at 10:15. I have a text confirming this from them. The woman who called me starts fighting with me. Super rude. "Your appointment is at 10 and you're late". No I'm not. I walk in with the text displayed on my phone. She doesn't even apologize to me. I wasn't late, I was 15 minutes early! I recently recounted the story in a local group and was told that this company charges for late and missed appointments without offering the service. So basically what I can infer from that is that it's a scam to say that you're running late so they can charge you without actually having to take you. I booked an appointment for gel pedicure and manicure, the receptionist told me it will be 57 dollars, after I finished and paid they charged me 6 extra dollars and when I asked what is that for I was told for removing your old gel color, I was surprised since all nail salons typically when they do gel color change they don't charge extra for removal so the receptionist called the owner Lucy who said "that's what we charge" when she spoke to me she said "the receptionist is new and I am sorry she did nothing inform you in advance but that doesn't mean I don't charge you and if you want to write a bad review feel free" then she said "don't you think it's too much to wait to speak to me for 6 dollars" How rude and unprofessional! I never write reviews but when an owner act the way she did then she deserves such a review! Reality is that I don't care for the 6 dollars but the principal is important. What a disappointing customer service. Art of conversation is crucial when having a business and when you lack it unfortunately it wouldn't matter how great your business is you will lose customers. I actually posted the same reviews on google and I just realized the owner had the guts to respond and yet she LIED about my way of speaking. She kept interrupting me when she spoke to me on the phone and yet when I tried to speak she said you are yelling and I said allow me to speak and stop interrupting so I don't have to raise my voice to hear me. How possibly she can even lie about my way of speaking and treatment of her employees when I went out of my way to recognize, be respectful, tip them 20 dollars and yet she twist the conversation to take it away from her professionalism and owning up to issues in her business. If could give them negative stars I would!! THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! I called this past Saturday to make an appt for two gel mani/ pedis. I specifically told the receptionist we need to get our gel polished soaked off and we would both be getting a design on our nails. She made the appt for the following day at 1130am. So my friend and I arrived at our appt. Shortly after we were seated and asked to pick our color. We showed them a picture of what we wanted and they said ok. Lisa did my friend's mani. She did a quick job, nothing spectacular. The girl who did her pedi was either Helen or Kim (doesn't really which one, they both sucked). Her girl kept bumping her toes with the UV and instead of cleaning it off and putting a new coat she just kept building it up on the corners. So on to me. I asked Helen or Kim about my ingrown toe nail and she said "ok". During the processes she of course just makes it worse, so I had to tell her to stop. So the tech paints one foot and places the UV light and it keeps slipping (also scraping my wet toes) and she is having this difficultly for like 5 minutes and every time she places on my toes I can feel the heat so close to my skin. And when I tell her this, she just ignores me. She eventually places the bottom of the UV light so my foot can hold the light. So after she is done with one foot she places the polish in her cart and Meg (my mani tech) went to reach for and she totally snapped at her!! Telling her "that's mine!" Ummm. Ok?? So whenever there is only one bottle of polish, one tech has to wait. Just seems logical. To avoid this issue I told them to use a color that has two bottles so they would stop bickering. (So unprofessional). At this point the receptionist tells me that Lisa will have to do my design and that I would have to wait. So Meg walks off. Lisa is tied up with another customer. So again I have to wait. Finally I get my design done. Mind you, my fingers do not have a top coat yet. So while Lisa finished my design I asked if she would be finishing up my polish and she responds with "that's not my job". Again, I ask the receptionist if Meg was going to finish her job. But she was still tied up and would be a while. Lisa got all moody and began applying a top coat WITHOUT dusting off all the debris from my gel removal!! So I told her, you need to dust it off because you can see the specs under the top coat. She just let out a loud sigh and was like "ok" and proceeded to clean my hands. So after this, I'm just left sitting here waiting for over 30 minutes. I asked the tech if anyone was going to my manicure (massage and cuticle oil), and she goes, I'm sorry the receptionist messed up the appt and now Meg is working on someone but as soon as she's done she'll finish up. In the mean time, my friends suggests we pay for it. They offer 10% off if it's your birthday month (which it is) so I told her and she said she would apply it. Then she offered to take of 5% for the hassle. So I was like okay. Are total cane out to about $91 per person!!!! So we pay our bill... so some more waiting. By this time it's almost 2 o'clock!!! It should take more than about 60-75 min for this service and I wait for over an hour and still couldn't be helped. More time goes by and I see Meg walk over to another customer and start her pedi. By this time was livid!!! I got off my seat stepping onto a dusty floor to put on my own flip flops (since their techs can't do that either), and walk up to the receptionist. I asked if she would be refunding me part of my payment as I didn't not receive service I paid for!!? She goes, "oh what do you mean?" Like seriously?!? And she goes, "I'll get someone to help you right now." I proceeded to tell her the horrible their service I received and walked away. She wasn't worth anymore of my time! As you can see in the pictures the manicure was not done well and not even 4 days later it began to peel!! * Stay away from this horrible place!! It's a waste of mine and time!!! I went in to have my acrylics removed and receive a gel manicure. I did not feel rushed and felt like I was her only client. Lonie was patient and made sure I wasn't in pain and the manicure was beautiful. The woman at the front desk offered me a mimosa and tea (which are complimentary). The atmosphere is very contemporary, relaxing, and clean. The employees use sterilized tools which they open in front of you.
