There was never a moment during our appointment where I was unhappy with my nails. From the length, shape, French tip, color, and flowers, she truly did such an amazing job. My First time coming to the salon, it was so close to my house, got a gel pedi , the lady did my toes she cut side of my nail completely , i asked her why she cut she said i had a ingrown nail. I have never encountered customer service like this, and as someone who works in customer service myself, I would never treat clients this way. I simply asked whether it would be possible to have my hands and feet done at the same time. Instead of receiving a straightforward answer, my messages were repeatedly left unanswered, and I had to follow up multiple times. When I finally did receive a response, I felt I was met with unnecessary attitude and assumptions rather than professional communication. Another ongoing issue is what appears to be overbooking. As a customer, it often feels like too many appointments are scheduled at once, leading to delays, rushed services, and difficulty getting clear communication. Had I simply been told that my request couldn't be accommodated because the schedule was full, I would have completely understood. Instead, I was left chasing a response and made to feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. What makes this especially disappointing is that I have been a loyal customer for nearly a year and have always had wonderful experiences with Oanh. I truly adore her work, which is why this interaction with the receptionist was so surprising. Unfortunately, after the way I was treated, I can no longer support the business. This was not my first visit to this salon, but it will be my last. My previous experience Nail It Salon was lackluster, but I hoped that after a few years, the quality might have improved. Unfortunately, it was even worse. I am accustomed to Russian manicures and pedicures, which typically leave my feet feeling buttery soft and pristine with a high standard of cleanliness and care. That is certainly not the case at Nail It Salon. Thinking I would save some money, I opted for a traditional pedicure, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The technician was not pleasant and looked disheveled. No greeting or introduction when she sat down. The cart looked dirty and not maintained. I am not sure she cleaned the tools because she came immediately from another client to me. She just asked if water was too hot. She required multiple prompts to correct the shape and length of my nails. To make matters worse, she used a basic callus shaver--the type of cheap, "cheese grater" tool most people have in their own showers at home--rather than professional-grade equipment. The final result looks like it was done by a fifth grader; none of my toenails are the same shape or length. When I pointed this out, the technician dismissed my concerns by claiming my toenails were different sizes and could not be matched. I should have left the moment the service began, but I stayed. I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone looking for professional, quality nail care. There was NOTHING professional about the experience. I would give no stars if it that was an option. read more

I had a walk-in very close to their closing time for a pedicure. About 40 minutes from closing time. I called before hand to confirm if they took walk ins and time they closed. I was looking for. A place near my job and found this one through yelp. The reviews convinced me to check it out. Not disappointed. They received me with kindness and attended me immediately. I was assigned with Lafmine (sounds like Jasmine to me...sorry! I couldn't remember how to spell her name). She was very kind and careful. She asked if the water was too hot, checked if the pressure was ok while cleaning and shaping the nails. I felt very comfortable. They have massage chairs. Music was good. Place was clean. Parking for me was in the streets. Paid $35 for basic pedicure. That's all I wanted done. I definitely will come back and with my husband who enjoys getting manís and pedis. Went in for a pedicure, French tip...they look so bad. The line is so thick and my big nail is shaped round and was cut way too short. I was a little timid to say anything to her, as she did have a very gentle touch! I will say I enjoyed that. However I asked for regular and tech put gel and I didn't even realize. I was willing to pay without liking the art so far, but then when I went back to reception to pay, she said you got gel pedicure and I said no I wanted regular. She said oh she put gel...it's gonna be more expensive... I was confused and I said I had no idea. A salon I used to go to would use the blue light just to make the polish dry faster, so I thought that's what she was doing. I explained this to the receptionist and said it was fine I would pay anyway. She brought up that there's a language barrier, and while I understand that, I still distinctly told the receptionist that I wanted regular. To be honest that feels like it's just poor communication on the shop's end. Nail tech barely spoke to me, didn't say hi or ask what I wanted. Just went straight into doing the pedicure, which is fine but how come she put gel? All she asked about was nail trim, remove callous, and French tip. All of which I said yes to. She made sure to show me that callous removal was extra and I said that's ok! I ended up paying & tipping because at the end of the day she did the work. I am now regretting it to be honest, and I know I should have said something then and there but I am not a confrontational person. If the receptionist would have given some kind of discount (as I was not intending to spend $100 today), I wouldn't be writing this. But to be honest, it feels like a form of taking advantage of people being kind and wanting to try new places. I am not happy with this experience and I really hope they don't do this again to anyone else. read more

I gave this salon another chance and unfortunately had another very disappointing experience. I was there for over three hours for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, which is completely unreasonable for a basic service. On top of the excessive wait, the nail technician was unable to properly execute a simple French manicure, so I ultimately settled for a solid color instead. This was after they had to change Nail text because she could not get it right after the third attempt. Even choosing a color became frustrating because staff could not locate or identify their own color samples, causing me to switch choices multiple times. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the environment inside the salon. During my appointment, multiple staff members engaged in a loud argument in the middle of the salon in front of customers, creating a very tense and unprofessional atmosphere. The front doors were also left open while cigarette smoke drifted inside, which was unpleasant during a long appointment. Additionally, the owner/manager frequently had a small Pomeranian dog on top of the front counter area, walking around, drinking water, and sitting where customers check out and where salon items are handled. Regardless of personal opinions about pets, it did not feel sanitary or professional for a nail salon environment. The biggest issue overall was the lack of customer service and accountability from management. After such a long appointment and multiple issues, there was little remorse or effort to improve the experience. Unfortunately, this salon lacks professionalism, organization, and attention to customer care. I would not recommend it if you value cleanliness, professionalism, and quality service. I highly advise against investing money or time in this nail salon ever again. read more

I got a regular mani and pedi, and it was fine. They were incredibly fast - done with both in 20 minutes, which would be fine if it wasn't $65. Pretty expensive for a rushed job. Also the towels looked pretty dirty, and I'm guessing they aren't cleaned between appointments. They did do a good job though. I made an appointment in advance for a mani/pedi with a bunch of add on's. Stephanie didn't provide the correct pricing. When I got there, the manicure started 15 minutes late and the pedicure started 30 minutes late. Neither nail technician introduced themselves or apologized for the long wait. The water they used for my hands and feet was cold. They weren't aware which add on's I had booked so I had to explain to them. Then the manicurist used my towel to clean her own hands. Gross. They mainly talked to other staff members and didn't talk to me much. Afterwards when I paid, I asked Stephanie why she had provided a different price over the phone, and she said she's new and isn't familiar with the pricing. Worst and most unsanitary salon experience of my life. The pedicure tech cut my toe open, and instead of stopping, she used a shared plastic bottle directly to my bleeding skin, contaminating it, and then put it back to reuse on other clients. Me and another tech asked her to stop and she didn't, anxiously trying to cover up her damage. Absolutely disgusting and dangerous. When I refused to pay after being injured, the front desk yelled across the salon, saying "she doesn't want to pay" and another employee with pink hair told me, "Go ahead and leave then, bitch." However, today was the last straw. * This review is dedicated to the receptionist * If you want to ruin your mood and feel uncomfortable whilst paying to pamper yourself.. Come here! As a former receptionist at a salon I have to say that anytime I interact with the receptionist at Nail it!, I feel like I'm being pranked on a TV show. Rude doesn't even begin to describe it. This is a consensus amongst the loyal clientele-the receptionist's behavior has become an anxiety ridden & uncomfortable experience. The visit I booked today was intended to take 30min- 1 hour max.. as it was the basic mani/pedi and gel removal. However, I was there for about 2 hours and didn't even receive a mani.. was waiting around on and off. Internally, I knew that this delegation of resources could have been managed better by reception- instead she was trying to get her nails done in between clients & during client appts. That's fine- I didn't feel angry by this, but I did have to walk my dog and said I'll come back the next day to finish everything up.. I live close enough. * no attitude on my end and even apologized (lol) * What really went wrong is when I got a call from the receptionist AFTER leaving the salon to tell me that she forgot to charge me for a pedicure.. (I thought this was because of the inconvenience they caused me or because I was coming back the next day?) . The receptionist ( Natalie) told me that it's my fault she's calling me because I didn't tell her I got a pedicure. ??? the salon is so small and she put me in a chair.. she also sat next to me getting her nails done while I was waiting for the same tech to do my nails LOL. How distracted can you be to blame the client for this? - I bring this up to her and she just stonewalls me repeating herself that she needs to charge my card. Threatens to call the owner and before I can finish my sentence of "please do" she hangs up the phone. I'm so over feeling like I'm walking on eggshells when I come here & leaving uncomfortable or upset because of the horrible attitude and vibes from the receptionist.
