I had a very disappointing experience with Juliet's Nails. About an hour before arriving, I called to ask about pricing and whether walk-ins were accepted. Since the appointment was for my 101-year-old patient who uses a wheelchair, I wanted to make sure we could be accommodated. When we arrived, I hadn't even made it fully inside before I asked if there was another entrance that was wheelchair accessible. The employee immediately responded, very rudely, "No, we're booked," without any apology or explanation. I was confused because I had called beforehand and was never told that they were fully booked. I calmly explained that I had called earlier, and instead of trying to help or clarify the situation, she insisted I must have called the wrong number and continued speaking with an unpleasant attitude. There was no apology for the misunderstanding, no effort to assist, and no consideration for the fact that I had brought a 101-year-old client there. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic courtesy was shocking. Even if they were fully booked, a simple apology or polite explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, it was a complete waste of time and an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I would not recommend this business based on how we were treated. read more

I started coming a few months back after a bad experience with a separate shop. I met Lynn and haven't looked back since! My nails are so strong and healthy since coming. Everyone here is so kind and fast! The appointments do book fast so book ahead but that goes to show how great it is here. Everything is reasonably priced too! The lady at the front desk is so mean and rude The day of my appointment (weeks ago), she kept yelling at me as I was getting my nails done (by the other woman, who was very very sweet and gentle) accusing me that I came too early and took someone else's appointment (which wasn't true). Then, that actual girl finally came for her appointment and so the lady apologized for the confusion. I said it was okay, and I let it go. Maybe she was just stressed or it had been a long day (even though it wasn't an excuse). I liked my nails, even though the customer service was subpar. THEN, today on Christmas Eve, I kept getting bombarded with texts and calls (not pictured) about how I have missed my appointment today, and I should have called... guys I am not even in the US for the holidays... look, I know it's very frustrating for establishments to be cancelled on with no notice, but please don't take it out on people who had nothing to do with that! It's very cool of them to be open on Christmas Eve. But that being said, I would have expected a better attitude around the holidays. Like, I can't believe this drove me to a point to write a review, on holiday, in another country... I don't even write reviews like that. Requested short almond acrylics with gel polish, which I got. They're good quality, and feel durable. Overall cost was $50 (if you wanted longer nails I think it would cost more). The shop was clean and professional, and communicative about time (last client was a little late and she let me know). Excellent experience overall, could not really have asked for more. I am picky on the shape and polish of my nails- short and simple. I'm not looking for bougie or high levels of pampering but I do want the polish to cover all of the nail and be done well. Juliet Nails consistently delivers on this. I get regular polish not gel or acrylic. But there are usually two other people there getting a set or gels done at the same time though. You can text the owner, Lyn, to make your appointment which is highly recommended as they book up fast the later in the day it is or close to a holiday. I have been living the area for couple of years and today I finally went inside, it was the best experience! It was a walk-in and they were very nice and accommodating, thankfully they were between schedule appointments and took me in. I got a basic manicure, and it was so neat and nice. I had a broken nail and told her it was okay if she had to cut it to the edge and she told me she would fix it, when I saw how it was after was a shock, it was like it was never broken. One of the best nail salon experiences I've had! Personalized, quality work, affordable in a non-crowded space. I usually go to places where there are dozens of customers packed in lines of chairs and you feel like just another number. On the contrary, this place is intimate and feels exclusive as they just serve 3 people at a time in a small salon room. They are basically appointment only (they technically take walk-ins but strongly recommend you make an appointment in advance and all the regulars know to make appointments), which means no crazy waits like what you get at other salons. In addition to the personalized, friendly service in a small uncrowded shop, the prices are very affordable compared to other salons. I recently came with a family member, and we both got regular manicures plus pedicures with Lynn (owner) and Helen. There was not a long wait as I had made an appointment several days in advance, and I appreciate how the salon was on time. The salon even texted me to reconfirm to make sure we were still coming, because there is such a high demand for appointments here that if you cancel, there is already someone waiting to take your spot. Both the women were excellent and very detailed and took their time instead of rushing. I made requests for no cuticle trimming and also to put a layer of white polish before my pastel blue polish in order to make the color pop more. I appreciate that they listened and didn't give me a hard time about my requests. One week later and my toes still look new, while my hands have the normal wear that you expect from a week-old manicure. I look forward to returning! read more

After having major foot surgery earlier this year, I was looking forward to my first pedicure since Covid started. Having recently moved to the area, I selected Juliet Nails based on their number of five star reviews. When I walked in, I wasn't impressed. It's a tiny little place with only a few chairs and no pedicure chairs/foot baths, only the small portable plastic foot spas. However, any doubts I may have initially felt were assuaged as soon as Lynn and Don got to work on me. Both very kind people, and extremely gentle while also very thorough. They are perfectionists and don't make you feel rushed. I was very happy with my gel manicure and pedicure. Also since it was my first time there, I didn't realize they were a cash-only operation. The person that worked on my nails took his time to do an excellent job, very gentle and friendly. They offered numerous color options. I was happy to discover that they can do Cat Eye design. I cannot say enough about Juliet Nails! I found Lynn on Yelp 10 years ago and would NEVER consider going elsewhere. She and Helen are two of the most gracious women I have ever met. I never have a problem scheduling a pedicure, as Lynn ALWAYS fits me in, even at the last minute. She does the most thorough and gorgeous pedicure for an outstanding price. I have witnessed Lynn have to turn away walk in customers only because she is booked and has other people scheduled. Not all salons have enough employees to take walk-ins, so that is not reason enough to penalize Lynn with one star. People need to manage their schedule better and take accountability, not blame Lynn and Helen. Obviously Lynn manages her schedule to a fault. Additionally, I find it impossible to believe Lynn is rude, as some of these low class individuals claim. Seriously, you need to look at the source! This place is the first place I've ever gotten a pedicure and gel manicure! Lin is the sweetest ever! I came here with my friend and there was Lin and another lady who I forgot to ask her name but she did my pedicure for me. My toes have never looked better. This place is really relaxing to go to and now I understand why people go get manicures and pedicures done. The energy that Lin provides is a warm and welcoming one. The prices here are amazing and it's cash only! Make sure to set an appointment early because they do fill up quick and they work on your nails with care and detail. I couldn't decide what color to do but I explained to Lin what I wanted. She worked with me to find and create the perfect color! I did a darker rose mauve pink base with white sparkles on top. Pedicure was okay, they didn't do a great job on my ingrown nails but I know that is something difficult a lot of places either won't or can't do. They also didn't do a good pressure for massage and there are no massage chairs/foot baths that aren't a tub. Came back today for the second time! Got a gel mani (french tip) and gel pedi (pink color) and it was only $59. Then I tipped on top. Other places I would pay about $80. They do such a good job here. When they scrubbed my feet with the pumice like sponge/rock they did it for a really long time, which was great. My french tip looks awesome. Can't wait to come back when I need to. Fan for life! I love that because it is on the smaller side, and only 2-3 ppl work there, the whole place does not smell of fumes and chemicals. The ladies are really nice. They have a huge client base. I'm not really picky about my nails but this was an overall average experience. My manicure is fine and I'm sure it'll last a while but my cuticles are peeling and I have a little cut on my thumb. I asked for my thumb to be reshaped after it was "sealed" and was told it's not possible which I know isn't true. My cousin is a nail tech (I usually go to her but she just gave birth) and she does it all the time with no problems. I went home and did it myself and it's completely fine. The pedicure is good, nothing to write hone about. My main problem is that I don't look Vietnamese and often times nail technicians will talk about me or the people I'm with not knowing that I can 100% understand them. The people who worked here kept complaining about other guests and people who were calling. They spoke poorly about me not knowing I could understand. My feelings aren't hurt but I just wouldn't recommend for the lack of respect for clients. There was nowhere that said cash only so I had to drive down the street to an ATM which is also just wild to me. I could've just driven away. read more
