Rather than communicating with me, she relied almost entirely on gestures and handed me her cell phone to speak with the owner. The voice on the phone sounded like the same gentleman I had spoken to when I made my appointment. During that conversation, I was suddenly told that no one named Wendy works there and that I must have meant Mindy. I had already seen the technician wearing a name tag that said "Mindy," so I knew who they were referring to. After waiting a few minutes, another employee told me, "Mindy is ready for you." At that point, I noticed that the same technician I had previously seen wearing a "Mindy" name tag was now wearing a different name tag. This salon is in a prime location and serves a discerning clientele. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and clear communication. I don't respect non transparent pricing practices, in which they engage. If you tell a customer the price is one thing, it should be that price. And if there are any differences in that pricing model, you should be able to explain it, clearly . Repeating over and over a number that your own register doesn't agree with is not great customer service. My nails were nice, but pay at your own risk.
