I really wanted to love this spot, but most likely will not be back. Pros: they were able to take me as a walk-in nearly right away. They had a great color selection of quality products and the staff was really friendly. The shape was perfect and the person who did them was really meticulous, which I appreciated. Cons: I have 2 big gripes here... the first is that there was no manicure with the dip (soaking, cuticle care, etc). The second was the end product. The person who did them did not clear the dip from around my cuticles which results in faster chipping. Additionally, the top coat began flaking off after 2 days. I typically have a dip last 3-4 weeks, so this was really frustrating.

Meme at the nail salon does amazing work and super sweet!! The whole staff is super nice and the environment is a nice bonus

Yay I love this place!! This place is always open for appointments when no one else is. Maggie is one of the best they have there!! The owner Roland is great- he's got a great personality and has so many regulars that love him. The environment is light and bright and updated and they always play good music! This place is my go-to!

Poor cuticles, the picture really isn't conveying how ragged my nails look in person!

Where do I start? Pros: Very clean Beautiful decor Nice vibe Cons: Requested service was an epic failure Quality of service was dismal Customer service was lacking The Story: received reference from a friend for a particular nail tech (why, by the way, was EXCELLENT! I mean, for those who search near & far for detailed nail design at its perfection, this young lady is at the top of her game!) The end...of the good stuff. Now the bad. My friend called beforehand to get pricing, and the price quoted and what I paid afterward differed greatly. TIM did my mother's full set with a French manicure, and her nails looked like a brick overlay!!! I distinctly asked the front desk gentleman if TIM was as good as my friends nail tech, and he emphatically told me yes! LIES!!! Even though my mother asked for a specific color before and was confirmed, she didn't get it in the end, and wasn't told until afterward that they didn't have the color. Not only do my mom's nails look like brick, but they were different shapes and ragged. Yes, I did notify the tech, who tried to correct it, but TOO LATE, damage done. Then they had the nerve to attempt to add an extra charge for shape, as if you have an option and shouldn't filing and shaping your nails be a part of a full set? Not special shape, just your regular nails. I guess they were going to charge extra for involuntary making my mom's nails different shapes to cover up TIM'S disaster!!! Moving on to my mani/pedi...not only was JACK extremely rude and unfriendly when I was showing him some details he neglected doing my pedicure, I had to reshape and cut some of my toe and fingernails because they were not smooth. See the picture of my disappointing manicure. On another note, after I saw the staff offer a client water, I asked why wasn't I asked, they bring me a bottle of water as I'm putting on my coat. The final straw was the bill, but there's no prices posted, so now I can't dispute the price I was told versus what I'm being charged. Not that they were the slightest bit interested in my dissatisfaction or complaint. And guess what... I still tipped for services rendered, but I woefully regret the experience, and every dollar paid! One of the WORST experiences for my visiting mother and myself...NEVER to rerurn! After reading the reviews, I see that my experience isn't uncommon. 0 stars if I could!

I don't get pedicures often but came to this location a handful of times before Covid. This past Thursday 5/5/21 was my first time back and it's now Saturday and my toe is starting to become red, swollen and extremely painful. I've never had an infection on my foot or toe before and this feels awful. When I arrived the water was scalding hot in the bowl and the person who set me up to soak and wait for a nail tech added cold water but she needed to add so much the bowl was practically overflowing. When the nail tech gentleman began and asked me to lift my foot onto the towel the first time a little water splashed because the bowl was so full and the nail tech scolded me for splashing him. I explained how the bowl had too much water which he could see but instead of letting some out he told me I needed to be more careful. The rest of the pedicure I moved my feet around very slowly and we didn't talk at all during the service. He did not open fresh tools in front of me but I know some salons use some type of light sanitation system so I didn't think anything of it, well never again. I will never be back and will never recommend this place to anyone. Edit to add: I wound up at my doctor to have the infection drained and needed a prescription of antibiotics. Absolutely awful experience. Unacceptable.

Dip powder only 3 days after getting them done

Take it from someone who's been getting her nails done for over 10 years wearing regular polish, gel, acrylics, shellac, no chip, and dip powder, save money and go somewhere else. The only 1 star is for decor and I guess color options. I usually get the dip powder because working in healthcare and constantly washing and sanitizing my hands, wearing no chip lasts for maybe 3-4 days tops. Although I didn't have polish on prior, the whole manicure took about 40 minutes at most. It was nice getting done earlier than I'm used to, but something didn't feel right about it. This is the second salon that I've experienced that uses gel for the top coat and the last time I had gel for a top coat on top of dip powder, my nails lasted about 4-5 days. I asked for the dip powder top coat and they claimed they did not have it. At that time, I knew my nails were not going to last more than a week. Lo and behold, my nails lasted about 3 days before chipping took place. TL;DR: they use gel for top coat on dip powder and I'm personally not a fan of that. I would not recommend this salon to friends and family. Save your money (especially since the nails were on the expensive side) and go somewhere else.

My nail tech was Fee, he does an amazing French! He shaped them perfectly. His work is clean and precise. Got everything I asked for and more! 28 days ago Tomorrow will mark 4 weeks with this set. All nails stayed on perfectly, the design was subtly which allowed them to look great for whole month! I highly recommend Fee!

I got my nails same day. I called and they said that my nails shape, and no chip acrylics would be around 55 plus 5 for design. At the end of the appointment my total was $81.00!!

I came here because my nail technician from Chicago moved to this location. Nancy has always been the best. She always listens to what I want and does an amazing job. I showed her exactly what I wanted from a Pinterest post I found and she was able to help me find the perfect colors to match it. The salon itself is super nice and clean. They have a wide variety of colors to chose from. It was definitely worth the drive to come see Nancy.

I called and asked what openings they had for a pedicure , she said you can come right now. When I arrived (13 minutes later) Thinking they were not busy,, they were full of customers just starting and some mid way thru their services . After a couple of minutes she told me to go to the back and have a seat, for about 10 minutes while soaking my feet. This turned into a 33 minute soak NO ONE came by, Finally she empties the water 1x during adding COLD water. I was getting up to just leave, and a tech came to me. She started the pedicure Extremely fast. and while doing it she kept looking to the front of the shop and stayed focused there. The was extremely focused on the lobby area NOT on what she was doing to me. While using the cuticle nippers she cuts into not only the cuticle but into the side of my toe. gave me a slice of cotton and continued to nip and look at the front of shop I moved my feet away from her at this point as I looked at the lobby area and then at her, ( as in to give her a notice to stop being distracted) The ENTIRE pedicure time was SEVEN MINUTES YES SEVEN MINUTES !!!! she did do all the steps but only about maximum each step was 45-50 seconds. THE ABSOLOUTE WORST pedicure I've ever had. I will NEVER RETURN. OH the best part was at the checkout she said ( in perfect English) YOU ADD TIP ! talk about Pressured into something. I did leave $2 she was SO ANGRY. she walked away yelling in whatever language of her heritage. TAKE MY ADVICE DO NOT GO HERE. I cant a below zero star rating if I could I would. Below is a picture of how she spent her entire 7 minutes on me.

Second time bad experience. The deep is uneven and the guy who did it was rude and aggressive with my hands. Was very uncomfortable experience. Made a comment about the nails being uneven and he was aggressive with my hands. Will have to go to another nail salon to fix the issue

Found this gem of a salon on yelp and figured I would try it, as it's one of the few salons who uses liquid gel in the area. Stopped in Tuesday and spoke with Yen and Timmy about liquid gel and the dipping for nails... decided to do the dip, Lisa took care of my nails and they turned out incredible !!!!! I am absolutely in love with my nails!!! I then booked two appointments for pedicures for today and my mother and I had a great time!!! The salon is gorgeous and clean, the staff is sweet, friendly and knowledgeable !!!! I think I found my new salon !!! read more

Absolutely GREATTT experience!!! I had an appointment booked with Michael ON 9/23/20 at 10am. He made me feel so comfortable here. He greated me with excitement !! and not to mention he did a wonderful job. I came in all I wanted was a fill, but he was informing me that my nails were way too weak to do a fill so he suggested to do a brand new set of acrylic and I went for it. he did a really good job. A fantastic nail salon! Roland explained all the options to me (I did a full set with tips and the no chip polish on top), he was very nice and patient with all the questions I had. David did my nails and he is so nice and we had a nice conversation. He was very careful and paid attention to detail. I showed him a photo to reference, and my nails look even better than the photo! I used to go here until one of the girls did my dip to thin cause 5 of my natural nails to break along with the dip. I called when the first two nails broke 2 days after the dip was put on. They said they were busy so I couldn't get it fixed. I waited two days to find time to get back and Tommy (a manger I think or at least that's how he acts when Roland isn't there) argued with me telling me that a now third and forth nail that are cracking weren't broke and he would fix them. I demanded he fix them so after about 5 min of arguing and me saying I would pay if he wanted but I'm to busy to keep coming back. He responded with he is busy too....I mean really??? Then do your job and people wouldn't keep coming back for fixes. Rude. So I went to another nail place....easy fix read more

I made an apt at this nail salon after hearing so much about it from my mom. I have gone to multiple employees for my services and they all are amazing. Roland is extremely nice & he knows how to address all my nail needs. Each employee makes you feel welcome, relaxed, and that you're the only person in the room. None of them made me feel like they are in a rush and I have always walked out satisfied and happy. Each experience of mine has been amazing and enjoyable. Above all, its super clean. I usually do my manicures with Tommy & pedicures with Denise. On some special occasions or holidays, they sometimes serve wine or sangria which is always a plus :) I highly recommend Nail Lounge Salon for single, couples, or large parties. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a spa day. I look forward to coming back and bringing my friends too. read more

Today I had the worst experience ever. The manager Ronald wasn't there so the two technicians who worked on my friend and I did the worst possible job ever. They spoke in their language and for sure spoke about us because we were taking about 5-10 minutes to choose a color. They weren't helpful. I received a no chip, he got color on my skin and while removing the excess color with his own fingernail he's telling me "I'm a perfectionist." As for my friend the girl painted the nails worst than a 10 year old. I will never return to this place and make sure Ronald is always there when he's not there these people are the worst!!!! read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend so it was my first time. I got dip polish with a tip extension ($55), and all of my nails ended up uneven/crooked/different lengths and I had no time to have them fixed before my vacation I got them done for. By the second week, two of them had started to fall off and one totally fell off. My pedicure ($30) also chipped within 48 hours of getting it done, which has never happened before in my life. I went in on a Sunday morning and they helped me right away. I purchased the toe heaven package which was a great price for all the pampering you receive with the service! Kathryn (Catherine? Not sure) was amazing, friendly and an overall great nail tech! Clean and beautiful facility with great staff. If you're in the area I recommend you stop in for some toe heaven! This salon's chemical smell is stronger than any other nail salon I've been to before. I almost wanted to leave as soon as I stepped in there. I would recommend a mask if you are going there. I had gel manicure from Asia that they didn't know how to take off which is fine whatever. Then the employee working there asked me to pay him before he put on the nail polish on me. Which I guess maybe he didn't want to wait until my nail dries to pay him afterwards? I don't really understand how can I pay you before I receive the service. But whatever I just paid him. Then he painted my nails and it's definitely not even and it was just basic nail polish paint job. There was even air bubbles on some of the nails. But by that time I just wanted to get out of there. I would definitely not recommend this place! read more

I've been looking for 4 1/2 years for the perfect nails salon. I think I finally found it. I went in yesterday needing all of my nails redone and a pedicure. I believe I had Jimmy and Lisa who worked on me simultaneously so it wouldn't take so long. The whole experience from beginning to end was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be back. The service was top-notch and I absolutely love my nails! I also love that I can browse nail colors from my pedicure chair at my own pace without feeling rushed. This place was beautifully decorated and very clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great manicure and pedicure. read more

I came to this place for the first time ever!!! Never ever will I go back again! I always get no chip but from a different nail salon (americas sweetheart) the best salon ever !!! Anyways Roland is so dam rude!!! They rush so much that my no chip started coming off the next day! I called to let them know I was going to be coming in to get it redone and Roland told me to make an appointment!!! haha to funny an appointment! why? your tech is the one who didn't do his job the right way! so I went in with an appointment and still had to wait!!! and of course Roland was not there. And on another note if you notice they never use sterilized tools for your nails!!! PAY attention when they are using there tools to cut your nails, never from a sterile bag straight from there boxes they have sitting every through out the salon!! America's sweetheart number one salon!!! read more

I use to like going to the nail lounge, the service was good. Recently the manager changed, the manager on duty named Kevo, doesn't have control of his staff. He's very unprofessional. The staff seems too rush , once new customers arrive. I had to return the last 2 times, to get a few nails redone. I'm done, going to find a new nail shop. read more

I am so disappointed in my last three visits. Pre-Covid, this was a fantastic salon. I decided to give it one more try today and I will NEVER return. I had a nail dip and my nails look absolutely awful. Very thick, not even, and covered in "goop". It took two nail technicians to try and make it right. They failed miserably. I will have to go and have my nails redone in a few days. My cuticle is bleeding and it was the most non-relaxing manicure I've ever had. To top it off, they charged me full price even with the manager there. So sad to see how this place has deteriorated. After coming home I checked out the newest reviews and obviously this is an experience others are having as well read more

Tommy was great! He shaped my nails perfectly and was very attentive. This salon is beautiful and very clean. I was in town visiting from Brooklyn and he made sure I was okay and that everything was good. Just went there last week and loved it. Beautiful and clean place. You can tell everything is brand new. Staff was friendly and professional. Can't ask for more. I am a guy so I just get a basic clean up but all the ladies around me looked happy with their nails. I took a few peeks and they had some pretty cool designs going on. Defintely my new go to spot! read more

They were wonderful from the moment I walked in. I had zero wait time even tho I was running 20 min late to my appointment. I was immediately offered a refreshment of water, tea, or a cocktail if your feeling a bit exxtra, which i was! I had an appointment for both a pedicure and a full set. I had some design ideas that they were more than happy to improve on. My nails came out better than I had hoped. I swear you could bring any crazy insta nail photo and they can make your nail dreams come true! Everyone is extremely friendly and the nail technicians are super sweet. I get very antsy if I sit too long so one of the MOST AMAZING things ever is same time service. For anyone who doesn't know that's when you get your mani/pedi at the same time. I will definitely be back. If your looking for a clean, comfortable place with skilled nail techs and no attitude you probably found your new spot. I def be back! read more

Got a dip powder service done with Destiny today and I couldn't be more pleased! It was my first time at this location. I originally came in for a regular acrylic fill and a no chip, but while we were talking I asked her a more natural form of nail enhancement and she convinced me to get the dip and I'm so glad she offered that!! My nails look great! They still look a bit thick, but Destiny let me know it's because I still have the acrylics tips, and once my natural nail grows in it will look way more natural! I actually really liked the process and enjoyed not having to stick my hand in the usual UV machine. It dries right away, which is a plus. I was not expecting a hand and neck/upper back massage so that was a very pleasant surprise. Destiny is very sweet and the whole staff seems friendly. I will definitely be coming back! Prices are fair and on average of other salons in the area. read more

This one is truly a hidden gem! I've been looking for a salon that use gel product not just a gel polish and to be honest there are no salons who does gel nails in the western suburbs. Maddy took my call and answered any questions I had, and was sweet and professional to work with. I was also sent a text reminder, which I appreciated and shows that they are interested in using up to date scheduling technology, which is a really good sign. Second, the medspa itself. The entry is around the back of the building, which I imagine is important for anyone wanting to be more discrete. Inside, the space was clean and beautiful - it has a relaxing atmosphere and doesn't feel overly clinical. I was immediately greeted and asked if I wanted a beverage, and then was ushered into a second waiting comfy room to fill out my intact paperwork. The music is typical relaxing spa music and they have it at just the right volume throughout the spa. After I filled out my paperwork, Maddy (who just happened to also be doing my facial!) came in and we talked about some of my skin concerns and goals, she was extremely knowledgeable and also just so sweet and friendly, she put me immediately at ease (this was my first HydraFacial). Next, the treatment itself. First off: the treatment room was a great temperature, no harsh overhead lights, and again that relaxing spa music. I changed into the little robe I was given and settled onto the gloriously warm treatment table. The next 50 minutes were just pure bliss, as Maddy expertly did each step of the Elite HydraFacial. It was much gentler than I had expected, like a tiny vacuum on my face. In between, I believe she was putting different serums on, and she did the red LED light for inflammation and anti aging. It was all just so wonderful and relaxing. Maddy was amazing! Afterwards my skin was as soft as a baby's bum, and it wasn't at all red or blotchy, which also surprised me! I went to lunch immediately afterwards without feeling the least bit self conscious, and in fact felt that "celebrity glow" that's so elusive. I also bought a couple of the products Maddy suggested and am already feeling the difference in my skin. TL;DR - I would absolutely recommend Luxeskin spa, and am looking forward to trying more of their services. Especially if you're looking for a facial to do before a big event like a wedding, the HydraFacial Elite at this medspa is the way to go!

I hope I can find the right words to express my excitement and happiness with my first experience at the Nail Lounge last night. First, when we find "our person" for our hair and/or nails, we will follow them ANYWHERE! To my dismay and shock, I called my regular salon last week to be informed that "my person" no longer worked there! OMG! NOW, what? She was an awesome nail tech and I had tried other people at that location - but, their technique was definitely not to my liking. So, I come here to YELP to get some guidance. I read reviews on the nail salons in my surrounding area. MUCH to my surprise - Nail Lounge was right across the street from where I work. So, after reading the reviews, I figured "what have I got to lose?" I made my appointment on the same day - no problem in accommodating me. I left work and anxiously walked through the doors of the Nail Lounge. First impression - WOW! Very clean, very nice lighting, very calming feel the minute you walk in. Roland checked me in and escorted me to my station. He asked if I wanted a beverage - or, if there was anything else I needed. As he started working on my hands, we started chatting. He was so nice, personal, and SUPER intelligent regarding EVERYTHING there is to know about nails and skin - that I didn't know! REFRESHING, INFORMATIVE, and HONEST. The products they use are top-of-the-line. The two things that will make me return to a salon are: 1. How my cuticles are treated and 2. How my nails and hands look and feel after all is done. Roland far EXCEEDED my expectations in both! His technique added a dimension to my nail color that I have never, ever experienced in all of my years of getting a manicure. My nails are beautiful; therefore, my hands are beautiful. Ladies, I this is the kind of place that you secretly don't want people to know about. As a (broke) high school student about to be a (more broke) college student, I really love coming to this place! The atmosphere of this nail salon is really friendly and inviting whilst also looking like a super high-end nail salon-- truly a work of art. Speaking of art, the nail designs here are super creative and amazing! I could probably come into the salon asking to get aquarium nails, and they would find a way to make that a possibility. I usually like getting dip nails when I come (since dip tends to last really long and well on me), but I highly recommend all their services since every nail technician will take it upon themselves to make sure you receive the highest quality experience whether you get a manicure, a pedicure, both, or anything else off their intensive list of services. When I first came into the store, Roland really opened my eyes into the world of nail care, and due to that, I am not only a frequent customer, but I'm also actively caring for my nails! I also tend to break my nails a lot since I am not exactly the most graceful teenager known to man, and even through all my tragic breaks, the nail technicians here fixed my broken nails (which also fixed my broken heart). They stick to their word and they really do fix a nail that they worked on! First time visiting Nail Lounge after finding them on Yelp (and reading the great reviews). I was not disappointed at all. I scheduled an appointment for 11:30am and arrived right behind two walk-ins getting pedicures. I thought for sure I would have to wait a long time, but they got me started right away and Roland explained to me later that they work VERY hard to make sure that appointments get done on time. I got a polish change on my toes and dip nails (which are my new love). I always struggle to find the right color and my tech who did my toes was very helpful in picking something she thought would go well with my skin tone. After Roland prepped my nails for the dip, Destiny finished the job and while we were looking at the color, we noticed it was too see through (different than it appeared on the example nail) and Destiny worked to fix the color by applying an ombre affect to the nail which looked amazing. She went out of her way to make sure I was pleased and kept asking if I wanted the shape different on the nails and if they were to my liking. Self-proclaimed nail salon avoider (as I feel like I always get cut or scraped or meant to feel like I don't know what I want) I am soooo happy I have found this nail salon! Updating my review! I originally came into Nail Lounge after reading all the Yelp reviews and it definitely lived up to the 5 star service everyone raved about! I have never been one to find "my place or person" that I am 100% sold out to when it comes to nails but after experiencing this salon I don't want to go anywhere else and have been telling everyone I know they need to switch over. The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable and very talented! I feel confident that I could see anyone here and get the same incredible experience. You can tell they take pride in their work and giving excellent customer service. Right away I was greeted, offered a beverage and taken care of. I had challenges with my nails the day after I got them done (totally my fault for picking too sheer of a color) but I messaged them about it and they took complete ownership over it and offered to have me come in to get them fixed. This spoke volumes to me! I have never experienced a nail salon with such great customer service. Yen did mine and my sisters nails. The shape and color are perfect. Long story boring, if you're on here looking for a place to get your nails done I highly recommend coming in to Nail Lounge! Okay, first of all imma give y'all the skinny: the Nail Lounge is my first true love. I called today because I was like girl, ya know what? it's the new year lemme treat myself, get some acrylics and stunt on em. When I called they were ready to go, I made my appointment no problem. I walk in there and they had me SHAKEN because Roland aka my KING was like "hi, pick a color, do you want some water?" and as a thirsty woman I was like okay I'm loving it. I'm like any girl out there, indecisive as hell, so I'm stressing and suddenly, my QUEEN, my light in the darkness, my savior, Yen walks up and she helps me pick a shape and a color. Here's the biggest thing: ITS SO CLEAN AND EVERYONE IS SO NICE. I'm getting emotional just thinking about it. I absolutely LOVE this place! The decor is stunning, the service is THE BEST!!! from the moment you walk in the door you are treated like a VIP! The staff is exceptionally friendly and engaging and personable!!!! The products used are top of the line in quality and the aromas are invigorating! A completely, relaxing experience! This was hands down the BEST pedicure massage I have received! All the way home my fiancé and I kept commenting on how much lighter we felt-so relaxed and pampered which is SO hard to find nowadays at a reasonable price AND on a weekend. So I don't get a pedicure or manicure often because some places are either too rough with their technique or they just aren't that enticing. It's different at Nail Lounge though. Recommended by a friend, I finally decided to try it again and thank goodness I did! They changed the whole process for me into a more enjoyable experience for sure. Nail Lounge technicians were all exceptionally helpful, friendly, and accommodating even to new faces like myself. I absolutely love this nail salon!! I wish I could give 10 stars. They are incredibly nice and superbly accommodating. They ask if I'd like coffee, tea, water, or pop and make sure I'm completely comfortable. Tommy did the most amazing ombré pink and white (pictured here). Also had the candle wax, sugar scrub, sea salt pedicure; which was very relaxing. They replace the liner of the tub with each pedicure service. I will go to no other place except here. Yen is amazing and she introduced me to "dip" nails - I came in about no-chip and she told me I should try dip and after explaining what they were I realized last year I took my daughter to get dip nails at another location and they were thick and horrible, not smooth at all - they looked like a disaster so I was a bit hesitant but figured I could give it a try. First off I want to say that this place is amazing! I had such a horrible experience at another nail salon yesterday and I was devastated. My bridal shower is this weekend & I had given up on having fabulous nails to show off with my engagement ring. Thanks to Roland and my nail technician Katie, I look amazing! This spot is THE place to go for nails. Beautiful experience from the moment you walk in, to the time you leave. Impeccable service, gorgeous nails, EVERY nail color and style, luxe lounge, TVs, really wonderful people. So glad a friend recommended the nail lounge. This nail salon is new- and I'm so excited I decided to try it out because it is SO pretty and clean! Yen did my dip powder manicure, and it was perfect from start to finish. There is a great selection of dip colors to choose from, which is hard to find in the Naperville area. She offered me water or tea, was super friendly, and very thorough with making sure everything looks perfect. She even gave me a light shoulder massage! I came here the first time on the recommendation of a friend, and have not stopped coming back since! Everyone is fantastic, and they do a wonderful job of teaching you about care tips as they notice things (I had a bad experience with proper care at a different nail salon, and Roland was phenomenal about taking care of the issue and following up the next time I came in). The ambiance here is extremely relaxing. Their customer service is top-notch and their work is unparalleled! I have went to other salons for manicures but Nail Lounge is without a doubt my favorite. I've been looking for a nail salon since I moved and I'm so glad I found Nail Lounge! I broke off one of my acrylics and was in desperate need of a fill when I called Nail Lounge on my way home from work and they were able to get me right in. Not only did Ty do an amazing job fixing my broken acrylic nail and fill, she also was so kind when I messed up a nail putting my ring back on. I love this place!! Nail Lounge is an amazing place to get your nails done. Helen did my nails and she made them perfect. I got a lilac which can come out stretchy but here they made sure that the color was solid. The shape was also perfect. She was constantly checking to make sure each nail was the right shape and same length. The people working were so nice and easy to talk to. I highly recommend going here. read more

This used to be my go to nail place and recently Roland hasn't been there and some other guy is running the place and service is deteriorating! I get the dip powder nails and they put a gel top coat which doesn't last on my nails, then when I went to get it fixed they tried to tell me that the gel top was better instead of just doing the dip how it's supposed to be done! So I was thoroughly surprised to find this place. My appointment was on a busy Saturday for 11:30. Upon arrival I found the parking lot to be a little limited- I did get lucky and found a spot right in front of the building though! But if those spots fill up you may have to park farther than you would want. When I entered I checked in and I was instantly pleased by how aesthetic and clean the shop was. They had the cutest decor still up from Valentine's Day. As I mentioned it was pretty busy, so even though I had an appointment for 11:30 my nail tech didn't get started on my nails until 11:45-11:50 ish. Despite the brief wait I understood how busy it was and I was offered a drink while I waited. As far as the service I thought it was excellent. My nail tech listened to what I wanted and constantly checked in on how I liked the shape and length. My nails were very basic just simple red nails, but I did see their pictures online of more complex designs they do. So it's good to know if I ever want designs this place is capable. My nails were $73 plus a $15 tip. It's been a week and a half since I got my nails done and they're still going strong. No breaking, no chipping, no nothing! I love gel X! And I love this nail salon!!

I had a single nail with acrylic overlap from a previous shop because my nail broke at a weird angle. Instead of soaking it off or filing it out, she was trying to pop it off. That's incredibly damaging to the nail. Thankfully it was hard to take off and she soaked it. My natural nails were slightly past my fingertips and they made me cut them. I guess there's risk of lifting. I haven't had this be a concern at past shops. It made me pretty sad having them cut super short. On top of that she didn't clean them up with the nail filer. They were cut and left jagged. The tips are crooked. Not sure if they were glued on at an angle. But some of nails look like too much was taken off the left side. So they look angled to one side. I did point it out to her and I think she misunderstood me. I just wanted them to look straight. I can also tell the acrylic is not evenly distributed on the nail bed. She didn't smooth out the acrylic to the edge of the nail. My cuticles were not cleaned up or moisturized at the end. I could tell the lady was annoyed because I did point out stuff I didn't like. Manners or customer service need improvement. Most importantly how the customer hands are handled.

It looked clean and modern. They played cooking shows on the TV screens, which I enjoy. I was seated at a pedicure chair right away and given a choice of colors for my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I did ask to ensure that they would not use the electric sander on my nails. I was quite pleased to find that they never use that for gel nails, a policy that I wish more salons would adopt. There were only two customers when I arrived, but people began to shuffle in during the time I was there. The pedicure was fine. I appreciate that they did not try to upsell me, but I do think it would have been nice to have more services such as a bit more of a massage or some more scrubs. It was quite basic and I wasn't offered other options. I was then moved to the manicure table after the pedicure was complete. Like the pedicure, it went by quite quickly. Not that it is necessary, but the staff really made no attempt to have a conversation at all. I'm OK with it, but they could have come across a little friendlier. No one was rude at all, but it just wasn't the warmest environment. As far as the manicure, I liked the color, but the gel dried unevenly with a few bumps here and there which annoyed me. Also it just wasn't quite the length or shape that I requested. All in all, I was glad that they were able to get me in and it was a decent service at a reasonable price. However, I do feel that the services were quite basic and it wasn't the best looking manicure that I've had.
