DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I've been to this place a few times & have had the WORST EXPERIENCES OVER HERE. I've been going to nail spas for 10 years about every 2-3 weeks & this place is by far the worst place I have ever been to. I am 23 years old & I am from Long Beach, Cali. Their color choice selection for gel & nail polish is poor & a lot of them look very old & cheap. I came here for a pedicure with my sister & I got a man & my sister got the man that usually charges people at the front desk. I already had a gel manicure from another salon that I go to (image resorts Nancy). I wanted to match my toes to my nail color which was a nude color. During the pedicure, this man's massage sucked, he was literally just awkwardly rubbing lotion on me while speaking to the other man my sister had.. THE WHOLE TIME. He put on the base coat & then put on my Birkenstock sandals which I had just gotten a couple weeks prior for Christmas from my dad. Assuming that HE was the professional here, I expected he wouldn't ruin my sandal. He got nail polish on my sandal once & I proceeded to give him the benefit of the doubt, as a mistake is a mistake. HE DID IT FOUR MORE TIMES. I was already irritated. When he was done painting my toes he told me I should pick another color because the color was too light (it was actually because he did a HORRIBLE PAINT JOB). If the color is too light then why do they have this color in the first place? It looked like crap so I just said lets go for white. I took off my sandals & asked him for something to wipe of the nail polish from my sandal & he grabs them from me & wipes it off with ACETONE. I'm pissed tf off at this point. He finishes & it still looks horrible. Then he takes me to the drying station. & I get a closer look at my sandals. THE MATERIAL CAME OFF. I went off on him. I told him that I was upset. He ruined my sandal. THE MATERIAL CAME OFF. He kept trying to tell me he would fix it. & took my sandals from me & FILED IT with a nail file. He ruined it even more. The other man looked at it & just said "oh" & didn't even want to hear what I had to say about my experience. I wasn't going to pay for it. Their pedicures are $27 which is WAY too expensive for A below mediocre spa. Not even a place like Laque Nail Bar charges that much. When I got up to leave the other man tells me "27 dollars" I look at him disgustedly. Why would I pay for something I had a horrible experience with? I come to nail salons to PAY people for what I want. This isn't what I want, so therefore I'm not paying for it. Then he speaks in his language to the owner with blonde hair & says it's okay you don't have to pay. He didn't even apologize. I will never return to this place. I WOULDN'T WISH THIS PLACE ON MY WORST ENEMY. So save your time & money, go to another spa. A lot of spas suck in Camarillo. And they charge way too much for their services. I have been going for a few years, and over the last year and a half service and quality have gone way down. I don't go to often so I just kept thinking NEXT time has to be better. They go fast, don't fill in all the lines for polish and do a job I can do at home. If I am paying the high end for this service it needs to be worth it. I'm leaving 1 star becuase the nails, while decently done (not perfect but not horrible), is not the topic of this review and honestly not enough to save their credibility. Their integrity is clearly fleeting as when I called, I was told a fill with gel will be $30. When I got there, I was charged $35 after already leaving a $5 tip in cash. I asked why it was $35 when I already called and was told $30 as well as $30 in their little menu booklet. When I asked the young girl at the front on what grounds I'm being charged $5 extra after already leaving a tip, she said because the manicurists ticket said so. While I paid it without feeling the energy to argue, I don't feel anyone should be charged more without being told what for. That's a form of fraud. They're lucky they haven't been reported yet. It's only $5 which is why I'm not livid, but rather irritated that I and other women give these people our business and they scam us. I didn't even leave with a reason as to why I was charged more. Yes, they are the only nail salon open until 8, but do yourself a favor and just wait until the next day and go somewhere else. My gel nails look like a 1st grader did them. My daughter and I had manicures last Sunday. I had a gel and she had SnS. Her nails are bumpy. It looks like a third coat should have been applied and was not applied. I had a gel manicure. The technician first used the cuticle oil on my arms as part of the massage. It felt so bad, I had to wash it off before I left the salon. My nails started peeling about 5 days after the manicure! Lynn is the one who does my nails, and she really does the best job. Shes the only one i trust with my eyebrows too. I don't know about the other reviewers, but my pedi lasts me a good three weeks before chipping. Maybe you just take really bad care of your feet? Who knows. Gave this place a THIRD try to give them the benefit of the doubt, mostly because it's conveniently close to my house, but I regret it fully. Asked Tracy for a "spa pedicure" which is supposed to include a salt scrub, therapeutic lotion/oil massage, mint lotion/oil massage and hot towel wraps. Tracy grabbed the lotion and the salt scrub from their back bar but after she put the hot towels on my legs she took the scrub back and never used either of them on me... so I got a half assed basic lotion/oil massage and no scrub but still was forced to pay the $45 spa pedicure price when I should have only been charged the price of a basic pedicure which is only $30. Honestly the worst place I've ever been for a pedicure. Each time I've been there, all I experienced and witnessed around me is pure laziness and lack of care for their clients. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I had a pedi and mani. Pedi was the worst ever. I was cut 3 times and my polish chipped off the next day. Usually I find pedicures refreshing and enjoyable. The tech didn't say sorry or anything. Just kept chipping away until I actually told her to just stop. Then I had a fill done. I walk into this salon and we were not greeted with a hello or anything! We checked in on a clipboard and went to look at the colors. I had grabbed one and was looking at it... and a male technician came and snatched it out of my hand then told me to put it back. To look at the swatches instead. He was SO RUDE. So We went and sat back down. The lady came up to us and asked what we were wanting to get done. We told her and she said nothing about how long the wait would be or anything ??!! Just left us sitting there... didn't offer us a drink or anything! Mind you, I'm 8 months pregnant and it shows...And they have drinks there all nice and set up... beautiful place. But no. Horrible job! I asked for a Gel polish change, since I had some time to kill while I was waiting on some flowers to be made at the Vons across the way. Worst idea ever. I have worked hard to keep my nails all the same shape, and length. The manicurist completely filed off one of my nails, making it look completely stubby and different than the rest of my nails. Apparently the color I had picked, they didn't have, but did they bother to tell me?...nope. The manicurist started painting my nails (I had chosen a very pale/nude pink, the color they chose for me was a bright bubblegum pink) and I mentioned that it was the wrong color. He just kept on painting, and said "We don't have that other color, this one is okay". Since I was running short on time, I just figured I would go with it. Now, when I get gels done at most other places, they have always lasted a week at least. These lasted a few hours! Within a few hours of leaving the salon, 5 of my nails had already peeled. 1 had cracked, and 1 had bubbles in the polish. I was thinking of going back to tell them to redo my nails, but at this point, its not worth it! I wont let them touch my nails ever again. What a waste of time and money. Best experience ever! The chairs were fantastic, the technician really took her time doing the color and clean up. Lisa did my design and it is really outstanding. The color selection is huge! Lots of OPI, Essie and a huge range of shades. While I was in there, a woman came in whohad smudged her mani and wanted to get it corrected. Not only did the owner help her find the right color (it was a mix of two shades of pink) he personally did the touch up and did not charge her. A good salon to go to if you have time to kill and want to relax. The price for a pedi is $32 with a design. read more

I found this place on a last minute hunt when I moved here and it literally is the best nail place I've ever been. They give you food and wine and the technicians are all very talented. Lynn the owner goes above and beyond to make sure all her customers are happy. My nails were damaged and they fixed them with the SNS powder which I now get everytime. I went to this salon looking for a new salon in the area. The gentleman that came out did not greet me or welcome me at all. He assigned me to Amy who seem very put out that she had to do my nails. I asked her if she knew how to do gel powder fills and she said of course I do and gave me a look that could kill. She ended up not knowing at all what to do and asked me to pick a color of gel polish to cover up the previous blue powder fill! She did not file underneath so when I turn my nails over it looks like I have been digging in a garden! She did not clean up the pink polish that was on my skin underneath my nails as well. I recently visited this nail salon I have never had an issue with any of the technicians except for my last visit. Cindy, was available to do my nails that day, I asked her if she could do a coffin shape nail she replied by saying yes when I indicated to her this nail shape was wrong she continued working and told me I would need to come back for a full set. I specifically told her what color of polish I wanted when done my nails were messy there was polish everywhere. When I proceeded to walk outside my color of polish was purple when the actual color in question is burgundy, I walked back in to tell her the polish was wrong and she replied by saying it would be an additional $20 to fix.?? Okay so I just left this place. I broke my acrylic nail so I just wanted to get a whole fill. It was my first time here and for some reason I thought why not try this place out. So I go in and I am seated and a bald guy comes out and starts doing my nails. Everything is okay until he starts pulling my cuticles down with HIS OWN NAIL!!! That is disgusting and unsanitary!!!! Do you guys know how much bacteria is carried underneath the nail?!! Why did he not use a cuticle tool??? He should be fired or re certified for sanitation! This is not acceptable. My nails came out looking bumpy. Also, every time he grabbed my finger he would hold it and his nail would stab my skin... ew! No! I'm sorry for the shitty review but this guy needs to learn to to handle women's/men hands. And recognize that pulling peoples cuticles with his own nail is unsanitary!!! Overall, I paid 35 dollars for a whole fill in, when I pay 25 dollars at my hometowns nail salon and they don't pull my cuticles down with their nails! Gross read more

Was in a jam and stopped in just for pedicure because I would never trust them for nails. Once again.. Rude right from the start. The owner will not allow tips on debit or credit cards. I said this would not work because I didn't have cash and it is the right thing to do to tip for service rendered. The owner said "it doesn't matter". Well, maybe not to her but it will to the nail tech doing the service ! I cannot stand this place and I should have never tried again to go there. They should be shut down for unethical business practices, health code issues and because they just suck in general. They are still overpriced and the vibe in there is negative and uninviting. This my first yelp review ever and truthfully it takes a lot for a place to drive me to the point where I feel the need to take time out of my day and write a review. Really wish I could give this place 0 stars, because that's honestly what it deserves. I went with my boyfriend's mother to get a gel manicure from Nail Pros and Spa, and I'm from out of town so I've never been before. Typically with my gel manicures I select OPI polish (which the salon didn't have but that's ok), so I didn't immediately know what color to choose. Within two minutes of looking at the color wheel one of the technicians asks me what I've decided. I said I needed just a couple more minutes as I'm still narrowing down my options. I kid-you-not less than one minute later she comes back and tells me to pick a color out. Mind you, at this time the salon is not busy at this time and there are four other employees talking amongst each another. This was annoying, but I brushed it off. I sit down and a male employee (who I can tell has not done a lot of gel manicures before) begins treating my nails. He does a poor job clipping my cuticles, and I politely ask him if he could please cut the noticeable pieces back a little more. He then begins painting and upon removing my hands out from under the UV lamp I see bubbles on almost all my nails, not to mention that the paint job is totally sloppy. I'm not sure what prompted this but several of the female employees are now standing around me and watching him while speaking in their native language. The male abruptly stops and begins doing a pedicure on another customer in the salon, so a woman named Kelly takes over for him. This woman had the worst attitude I've ever experienced as a paying customer in the service industry. She's sighing loudly the entire time like she's annoyed and she's visibly disgruntle with me for some unknown reason, as I caught her several times giving me dirty looks while she's painting my nails. Also, it is clear Kelly is saying negative things about me in her native language to another woman who is standing directly over me watching. At this point I just want to be finished so I can leave. She fixes my nails and I say thank you. Kelly doesn't even acknowledge my comment and goes to another customer. Based on the other reviews I'm curious to see how long this gel manicure will last. But frankly, this review was more about the outright disrespect I felt today, and the clear lack of customer appreciation this salon possesses. How this establishment can get away treating paying customers like that is beyond me. I will certainly not be returning if I'm in the area in the future. There are plenty of nicer, cleaner and friendlier salons in the area. Avoid this one at all costs! read more
