Review: The workers are nice and while you're getting your manicure/pedicure, they will offer you water (most places do nowadays). But this place gets -1 star for several reasons: 1. I showed them a picture of the nail design I wanted for my pedicure and they said they could do it. They showed the picture to the guy they assigned me and told him how to do it, and he nodded his okay. It wasn't a difficult design- standard French tip with just a pink glitter base. As Ibwas soaking my feet, he asked which pedicure package I wanted and I chose the Deluxe Spa special which came with callus removal, and a hot towel treatment. First, everything seemed fine. He coated my legs in a particular lotion/cream and used hot towels to lock the moisture in. After about 5-10 minutes, he removed the towels and wiped down my legs and asked to see the nail design one more time. I showed him, he looked it over carefully and then proceeded to work on my pedicure. At no point did he ask me if my pedicure looked good and at no point did he ever think to re-do his work...in fact, no one who had told him how to do the design even came by to see if he did a good job. Had I noticed sooner (I didn't have my glasses and what I could see, seemed fine) I would have asked for a re-do. He got the big toes done decently and then after that, everything went to hell. Everything was pretty much half done or without a proper coating. Not only that, my friend suddenly asked me why I had white stuff all over my legs- the man had not fully wiped down my legs! I took a picture of my toes to show the job. This was NOT worth $65. 2. 2 friends came with me. 1 friend got a gel manicure. It hasn't even been a week (it's been 6 days) yet the gel is chipping. GEL nails that never chip for her, is chipping. Ridiculous. 3. My other friend had nail coating that went past the cuticles and the nail stylist didn't even notice. Take your money elsewhere, my friends. There are better, cheaper places out there. Having a nice salon is useless if they offer subpar service and not even know it until we point it out. read more

I've been going here for 3 years already. I don't know why they have such poor reviews because they are really one of the better places in the area. Everyone that works there is respectful and friendly. My services have always lasted a good amount of time and they have fixed my toe nail polish when my puppy jumped on me and messed them up without any issues. I do agree with some of the reviews they are on the pricier side and liked when they have discounts for paying cash. On several occasions During mine Tracy (I think) sighed, commented on my feet twitching or being to stiff, and when she was finished she put my sandals on and told me I was down. She did not wait for the polish to dry and when looking at them the paint is bumpy and blotchy. BEWARE- came here for a fill about 2 weeks ago and didn't realize until after that my nails were lumpy. I decided to not make a big fuss about it and just go to another salon next time. Here's what I know, I've been going here for a year and have yet to have a negative experience. The owner, Lynn, is an honest, generous and hard-working, businesswoman who has been in this industry for 20+ years and who wants to provide quality services for her customers for a fair rate. She staffs her shop with people who I would describe the same way. I get the SNS or "Dip" nails and I LOVE this product! It stays thin, unlike gel, but is still super strong and they don't lift or break off like regular acrylics. They're also supposed to be made of a more natural material and use fewer harsh chemicals (but I'm no scientist so don't ask me what they are!) But it's also a new product/technique. My experience has always been that if there's something that's bothering me and I bring to their attention, they try to fix it! I've seen them on a number of occasions do what they can to make things right when people speak up. I have also seen people make ridiculous requests that put unnecessary extra work and cost on the techs. Those isolated incidents are usually the ones that end up on review sites like this, and it's an unfortunate truth that people, including me, don't usually take time out of their day to say something positive when it's warranted! Nail Pros is one of my favorite nail shops from a long history of getting my nails done and the only one I go to now. I had a mani/pedi and the technician (Cindy) cut both of my big toes and laughed and told me it was an accident and it's not a big deal. It is a big deal and if you cannot do a pedicure without cutting clients, you should not be working at a nail salon. The polish on both my hands and feet look terrible. My nail techs know now, that I like the water hot for my pedi, and I like my pinky nails short. I've been going to the original shop since high school and have known the owners since then. The owner helped me when I went back in but she was not nice at all! She poked around my toe and said it was an ingrown to put alcohol on it and it'd get better. They did a really good job doing my gel acrylic fill manicure. The only problem was when they did my wax they missed so much hair when I asked for face wax they miss a lot of hair with my eyebrows and between the eyebrows and the sides of my upper lip. When I came back home I had to pluck a lot of hairs out myself. This place is good for manicure so far for me as far as waxing I don't know if I'll ever come back here again. read more

This salon is beautiful! And extremely clean. The downsides are that it is 1. Pretty expensive - the callus removal, for example, is an extra $12 rather than $5 I've usually been charged. 2. There is only one technician to do both your manicure and pedicure. I don't find mani-pedis to be a "fun" experience.....more like necessary maintenance....so prefer to get in and out quickly. There were 4 other technicians that were just chatting. 3. The callus removal is the "cheese grater" type rather than the softening gel and sandpaper type. I was worried she would cut my foot. At most other nail salons, poor color selections lead to me having to decide, "Which color do I hate less: Green Eggs & Ham Green or Murky Waters Grey?" They have tons of pretty polishes, including a wide variety of OPI shades. It'd be amazing if they had Shatter. Super positive experience: My first visit was during a busy Saturday afternoon. Rather than say, "Sorry, we're busy today," or, "Please sit- 20 minutes," a man, whose authority led me to believe he's the owner or manager, massaged my hands and arms as I waited for the next available manicurist. & he was hilarious while de-stressing me. Not so positive experience: While cutting my cuticles, the manicurist zoned out & suddenly felt aggressive as she clipped away. As I was about to let out a lil' "Ow!," she cut me (nothing major, but red stuff came out). I felt like I was in Black Swan: either the part where Natalie Portman is picking at her cuticles until they bleed over the sink or the part where her psychotic mom is clipping her nails & clips her instead. If only I could put negative stars.. I came in last week, and waited to write my review based on how my nails grew out and how they looked. I went in with my niece, she's 12 years old. I wanted gel acrylic, and just gel polish for her. The lady doing my nails was kinda quiet, didn't speak much other then to tell me they were out of the color I wanted or to "relax" which was nearly impossible seeing none of my nails were coming out even or close to the same. Some were rounded and some were flat. She did two coats of the polish but was a very sloppy job, some of the nails I could see through and some had dents :( I thought I was just being picky and just going way to into detail, but for what I paid it was not worth it. ****CHOP SHOP**** I went in for a full set on a friday; let her know that lifting had been a problem in the past, she put extra primer - ok. by monday, my nails had lifted so much that they looked like i had them for 2wks. i went back to the shop showed Lyn the nails and she cut them down where they had lifted. i thought she wsa going to fill them in but NO! she cut them, filed them and put some type of clear coat on them and sent me on my way!! I only gave 1 for the lady who did my nails for being professional and the others who's there who wasn't involved with the conversation. I went last week wednesday February 28, 2017 around after lunch if im not mistaken. Before I tell you guys what happened just wanna mention that this is the 2nd time i went to have my nails done. I have AXXESS discount card, thats where i found this nail spa. AXXESS card is only valid for 1 year and after that you have to get a new card again. The offers of AXXESS discount card has specific discounts normally they only give like 30%- 50% off the first time you use it on the specific areas or activities etc. So, I have my acrylic old nails for a month already and its too long I only wanted to take it off and have a regular nail polish. The woman who's doing my nails take it off did manicure and everything. She was about to start a nail polish but she told me to pay first so i won't have the hustle after. So I went to the counter gave my card to the lady together with my axxess discount card. So the lady ask the Blonde woman (i think that's either the manager or owner im not sure) told me i can only get 10%. I smiled and told her this is a new axxess card so I will get the 30%. She was kind of mad that time coz she was trying to explain it to me that i went before and i cant get that anymore. But Im still arguing with her and elaborating about the process of the new card (in a calm way and i remained smiling). So when she scanned my axxess card to her phone, the 30% was accepted. She didn't say anything and went back to her seat. So when the other lady calculated the regular amount $23 to only $6 dollars, lol a very gooddeal ofcourse i was happy and smiled at her. Lmao i was expecting her to be positive on that though but the time she told me it was only $6, she told to her ladies about that in a serous bitch face talking in her own language infront of me and shakes her head. She even slaps the receipt in the desk to show to her co worker. When I looked at the Blonde lady, she also shakes her head. The whole time starting that time until I went out, they didn't even say goodbye or whatever, they were talking and looking at me. I feel embarrass or idk what im gonna say because i dont know if im wrong coz they acted like that infront of my face. So when i left i called the customers service of Axxess about what happened and make sure if im right. I feel relieved when the axxess told me they're glad I got the discount because im literally right. First of all, why would you act like that infront of your customer talking in other language and giving dirty look? Especially that BLONDE WOMAN (manager or owner im not sure) who never smiles at all since the day one i went there. THAT'S JUST RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO YOU IF YOU GUYS HAVE DISCOUNT CARD. THEY WILL MAKE YOU FEEL DUMB. I WILL DEFINITELY NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS TO MY FRIENDS. HLL NO!!! read more

This is one of my FAVORITE nail salons and I'm particular: I like them NOT to cut me (I have very thin skin that is easy to cut), they do a good job and are clean and friendly. I don't need to be entertained and I am fine with just being left to enjoy my mani/pedi. My Mom and I went today as we were in town and they did and excellent job. Tammy was my technician and she was very nice, respectful, friendly and did a great job. I'm very pleased. Mom was happy too. They don't upsale either and they do remember you. Kathy was great! I've been looking for a nail salon for awhile now. I've the several in the area and it's strange but most salons can't do nails. Kathy was very nice, knowledgable and willing to flex. Most salons make your tips too thick or too wide but she checked in all the way and did a mini mani first to cut the cuticle down. Very good job. I am definitely coming back. She stayed late for me and works on Sundays until 8. Love it! Finally found a tech I like. It's been a 5 month search. They are expensive though. $27 for classic pedicure. $37 full acrylic set + $5 for gel top coat = $69 before tip. read more

I haven't been here since they remodeled. It looks amazing. I came in at 9am so I wouldn't feel rushed. I wasn't rushed but my nails don't look right. I have gel nail polish that it doesn't go to the cuticle or the side of my nails. And I got a pedicure done (operator didn't have a name tag) and he cut my big toe cuticle and I bled.
