Terrible experience. I had a woman do my nails who is the manager of the salon. She was extremely patronizing to my mother (she complimented how good my mother's English was when we were switching between French and English) and when we asked if someone would be coming to do my manicure soon (b/c my previous gel manicure had already been soaking for 30 minutes) she kept repeating it needed to soak and to "explain things to mommy". The manicure was not done well and she said a discount would be added which was never added. Do not recommend. read more

Terrible experience. Had given someone a gift certificate for a Christmas gift and unfortunately due to health reasons she could not use it. She did not realize it was expiring and I tried to use it 2 weeks after the expiration date. Even after explaining the circumstances they would not honor it. If I could give zero stars, I would. I got a gel manicure and picked out a pretty light purple color. Eileen asked if I wanted my ring finger a different color, I said no but she gave me silver on my ring fingers anyway. I even asked for gold but she said silver would be more "springy". She then proceeded to put the purple color on the rest of my nail. After doing three fingers on my left hand, she complained that it was too light. I told her I liked the color and wanted her to complete the two coats. Instead she took out a different purple THAT I HAVE AT HOME WHICH IS WHY I DID NOT PICK IT! She put the purple on top of the lighter purple and did the rest of my nails. The left hand looks slightly different than the right hand now. In addition, she rushed through the manicure, barely let the gel dry under the uv lamp, and the edges of the nails are gross and fat. There are random parts of the nail that are sharp and poking my finger. I am so annoyed especially because it ended up being a 50 dollar job. Eileen, listen to your clients because they are paying you to get the color or service that THEY want, NOT WHAT YOU WANT. Ugh, what a waste of money. read more

I got a gel manicure on Sunday and I noticed imperfections immediately, which I brought to Eileen's attention. She was getting annoyed with me and kept filing my nails harshly, as if it would solve the problem. She rushed through my manicure, which was the problem. By Tuesday, the gel was lifting and I went in for a fix. Today is Wednesday and I'm having the same problem. I won't waste my time and go back for another fix, but they will definitely not get my service again. The pedicure was OK- not worth the money. read more

I have been going to Nail Ridge for over a year now for Gel manicures and couldn't be happier! Every time I go there the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Eileen does a great job on my nails and always adds creative designs. It is little pricy but since the manicure lasts 3-4 weeks I think it well worth it. Tina does a great pedicure and Lilly always gives an amazing massage! I am never disappointed when I leave there since I always have a great experience. read more

Eileen and her staff are true professionals. The place is clean, each client has his or her own tool box. I was recently here when a New York State inspector came to evaluate the store. The inspector gave them an excellent review and there were no deficiencies. Worst $22 pedicure ever. Thought I'd them another shot because there was actually a parking spot. They took me as a walk in, started & then their 2 5 pm appts walked in. I had stopped coming here LONG time ago but had to come for a lip wax bc I had no time to go to my usual spots. Sunday AM, completely empty BTW. Went to the back room and when it was time to pay ($8) I gave my card as I only had $6 cash. Big attitude from the lady, not the manager or owner. If they dont like receiving cards for under certain amount then put a sign or something so that the customer knows. Don't give me attitude. Then as she is processing my charge she apologizes because she has just charged me for $80 instead of $8. So I said ok please void it....? They do. I give her a tip of $2. Minutes later I'm driving and I feel something I've never felt before, they feel like bubbles or something. Next day i have little dots, it's hard to describe but it's obvious from the wax. So many other places to go to, skip this one. It's been there for so long and I dont know how they can still be in business, their work is not good and their attitude sucks. Waste of $22, plus tip! The quickest pedicure I've ever had. Went here on my lunch hour out of convenience, and had a totally frustrating experience! The nails on my right foot were longer than the left, had to keep asking the girl to make them "even" and "shorter". She "cleaned" my cuticles in about 5 seconds, NEVER had any technician finish them that quickly - especially after I was at the shore for a week. My nails were left rough and the polish looks as if I did it myself. Mind you, I did NOT tell them I was on a lunch hour for fear they would rush me. The scrub part, waste of time. The girl did my right leg for a few minutes and the left within 10 seconds - so inconsistent. The leg massage was ok, but the girl totally forgot to rub my toes and probably only massaged each foot for about 5 seconds. Never going here again!! I almost feel like calling my bank to refuse the $22 charge!! read more

I live in the area, and go to Nail Ridge when I don't feel like going to my usual salon. I went last week and the owner did my pedicure and uv gel fill. I was VERY disappointed with my pedicure, as it was the fastest pedi ever 15 minutes. No massage, paint is chipping after a week, hang nails, and so on. My UV Gel fill is not so good either, I do a better job myself. I will not be going there again. read more
