OK, I don't really trust or go to places that don't have their prices listed anywhere online. And after being charged the price that I was for UV gel set manicure I won't ever again. I was charged $100 for a UV gel set manicure and I have never paid that much in my life. Now, I am not one to get my nails done often so I am not up on the "nail lingo", nor am I a regular at this salon so I felt like because of that they took advantage of me. I have gotten a gel set manicure before and I have never paid $100. Additionally, my sister got a regular gel manicure and when she went to pay, it was a $2 card charge fee. When I went to pay, I was charged a $4 fee. That's $104 not including tip. So I feel as though they make up prices as they go along. Be aware and pay attention to pricing is my only advice. My sister and I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday. I called and move them to Friday because something came up. When we got there we were immediately rushed and separated despite asking to be together as we were both getting an SNS. While in the pedicure chair, I was looking over the sns swatches. The owner David, came up to my chair and said nothing and reached into my lap and grabbed multiple clips of the sns swatches he knew I was looking at and walked away. At the manicure chair, my sisters technician shaved her nails down so much they began to hurt. She asked her to stop and was given an attitude. At the end; her sns was bumpy and ridged. When asked to fix them was also given an attitude with resistance to do so saying "they're fine." When you pay $50 with a tip for a manicure, you expect them to last and look nice. The following day when the originally appointment time came I received this message from the owner. When I replied that HE made the mistake and that he should never speak to a client like this he couldn't even be respond. I've paid more and gotten less from other places so I was happy I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg in order to get great service. I came here to get an SNS with design, and let's just say I'll never do that again. My nails were done by Hana and she was so rough. She cut my cuticles with the drill so many times and cut a piece of my nail in the corner. I know others have said they felt rushed at this salon- I couldn't disagree more. She took her time and really made it a relaxing enjoyable experience. The leg massage and hot stone massage felt amazing. They do a good job removing rough skin on your heels, too. While my toenails were drying, the masseuse came over and gave me a free shoulder/neck massage. Ladies, this was not the ordinary 3-minute massage you get while your nails dry. This was amazing! At LEAST 10mins long (I was too out of it to keep track haha) and he worked out several knots in my back. I am very tempted to get a massage too the next time I go. I have been to Sage previously and was happy however the last two visits was very rushed and lousy work. this recent visit was the worst I got a pedicure, Medicare and eyebrows I was out the door with nails dryed in 45 minutes. They applied the cream on my legs so gently it was no worth making the trip, the polish was gummy and the finished job looks lumpy, when whipping my hands with the washcloth she only wiped the top of my hand so I asked to do it myself. I really wanted to like this place. I live in the area and have been searching for a regular nail salon that offers SNS powder dip. The dip was not SNS even though it was advertised as so, the top coat and color were both in jars labeled NRG. Upon starting, the tech dipped my nails into the jar which is extremely unsanitary. The color I chose did not look like the final product, when I mentioned it their solution was to buff my nails so much to lighten and fade the color from a deep pink to look more mauve. They were buffed so much that I can see my nail lines through the dip- awful. I left without getting a pedicure too because 2 of my cuticles were also damaged and bleeding by the end of it. The customers getting regular manicures seemed pleased, so if that's what you're looking for you may be ok. read more
