This place could be great if you're very proactive when booking... here's my experience. Booked 2 pedicures w/ 30 min foot reflexology, but kept hearing the staff say "30 min foot massage" no matter how many times I repeated "reflexology", and finally resigned myself to the fact that we were just going to receive massages, and that was fine. Reflexology is listed as a service so I'm still unclear with this. My pedicure was fine. The technician was pleasant and I was satisfied. My friend, however, received a terrible pedicure. This technician (I believe she was the receptionist or something) was very unpleasant and discombobulated. She spent most of the time wringing out her long sweater sleeves (that she kept dunking into the foot soaking basin) over my friends feet and complaining. It is also worth mentioning that she kept wiping her nose with her hand and then going back to the feet. Then the massages. My technician, albeit very kind and pleasant, just rubbed lotion on my feet for 30 min with no compression, or even pressure. My friend was luckier in this department and an actual massage therapist came and gave him a proper massage with stones. I was very jealous to see it as we paid the same price & a foot massage was the main reason for my visit- but, it is what it is. Side note worth mentioning: the girl with the wet sweater sleeves literally came back and interrupted my friends massage to complain about a gift certificate to the massage therapist (issue involving another customer), literally halting my friends massage for almost 4 minutes. Lesson I learned and why I'd give it another shot: if looking for a legit massage, ask for an actual massage therapist. This therapist's name was Clara I believe *and my friend claimed she was legitimately good. Some other positives- the place was clean and beautifully decorated. Manager seemed tentative. Sadly, it's been declining over the past few years and the people running the front desk are clueless, often rude and have been making mistakes with scheduling, so when you show up, you've waisted your time as the scheduler has made your appointment for a different day. She doesn't even apologize or try to make it right, she looks you in the eye and blames you for her mistake. This used to be the best Coco spa location.... There's a great manicurist there, which is why I kept coming back but it's just no longer worth it. I cannot recommend Coco spa enough. I have been coming here for at least 5 years now. Everyone I have had do my nails are absolutely fantastic. I go to Anne for my acrylics nail set and she is a god send, super dedicated to making sure every couple of weeks my set is beautiful and exactly the way I like it. Christine is my go to for pedicures and I am not kidding when I say that I literally will change my entire schedule just to get an appointment with her, she is that good. Both of them and everyone is the salon are extremely well trained and hygiene is very important to them. The only thing I can say is that they do get busy, so be sure to call and make an appointment, specifically make an appointment for the morning when they open as it is much quieter and more relaxing. The front desk is always super accommodating and are great with making sure that appointments are seen first. 100/10. Best of the best. I plan to continue coming here. read more

I was contemplating writing a bad review at first but I'm not because I ended up being a happy customer in the end. Went in for both a mani/pedi and was greeted warmly by the woman who works at the desk. The place is big and not loud at all. However, the person I was given barely cut my cuticles, didn't put my hands in warm water, just went straight to painting my nails. It felt rushed the entire time and my experience was nothing but unmemorable. There was also a visible space between my cuticle and where the nail polish started and the end result looked like I had them done a week prior. I went up to the desk person to ask if I could come in the next day to have them fixed and she was extremely understanding and also noticed the same mistakes I was complaining about. Went back again today and everything was SO much better. Jini did my nails and I could not have been happier. She was meticulous, took her time, cut any excess skin that I had and left my nails looking fabulous. I think they look the best they've ever looked after a manicure. I wanted to get a gel extension manicure (instead of acrylics they use gel). The technician seemed very knowledgeable and explained the process. It was my first time getting nail extensions. I got a free shoulder rub as well which was REALLY good. I liked my nails however the base of th nails weren't really done right. One nail had cracked and come off less than two weeks after. Also my cuties weren't pushed so it was apparent within a few days and my nails grow really slow. In the photos you can see the base of the nail wasn't filed so there's jagged or square edges instead of it being all files like an oval near the cuticle. That being said I would go back for a regular gel manicure. I looked at other people getting their nails done and it looked great. However when I went back to remove the gel, and asked for it to be replaced with a regular manicure I got a rushed job, and two coats that didn't even cover the entire nail. I tipped VERY well before I got my manicure done. I had a massage and pedicure beforehand. Massage was great, pedicure was okay. Very disappointed in how they treat a returning customer. I am surprised I was not injured after the 60-minute massage I received last month. This was absolutely not a certified masseuse, and they charged almost $100. If you are not properly staffed, do not offer that service. This is a liability and a serious injury waiting to happen. I have been going here for years, and their facials and manicures are great. I went to the Nail Spa for a manicure yesterday. Although Yelp highlights they accept credit cards, they would not accept my card as I only had time for a basic manicure at $15. They were not going to let me run to Chase (in the same shopping mall to get money) and made me use their ATM machine. I have been getting my nails done regularly for about 25 years so I am extremely picky about where I go for mani/pedis and who does them. Coco's has NEVER let me down. From the minute I walk in the door on Saturday mornings, I am greeted with smiles from June (and whoever else is around) and it just continues until I walk out the door. During all my services, the technicians are always top notch. I started with Helen, who moved to Sundays which is why she is not longer doing my nails. Then Daniel took over and now Jini takes care of my nails. I could not be happier. I get compliments on my nails all the time! I get a 15 minute massage as well and always walk away feeling relaxed. I made an appointment here for gel extensions. When I went in there were no other customers there, but a ton of employees who would walk by me without even saying hello. One woman eventually came up to me and without even asking, she brought me over to someone for a manicure (how did she know what I wanted without asking or looking up my name for the appointment?) They sat me down with Sara, she barely said a word to me the entire time. When she spoke to me the first time she asked what kind of manicure I was getting. I told her it was for gel extensions and she walked off in a huff. She did the extensions, but you could tell the entire time she was angry and didn't want to be working on my nails. I tried to speak with her and make some light small talk, she was not having it. When I had to put my nails under the UV lamp, it burned! It burned to the point where I was shaking. I asked her if she could turn it down, but she said nothing and shoved my hand back under the lamp. She shoved them so hard that my nails hit the end of the lamp and smudged the gel. She asked me what shape I wanted, I told her almond, but she did a weird rounded out square. She smudged my nails again under the lamp, so she wasn't so happy because she had to do more work to fix it. When it was finally over I paid and gave her a pretty good tip, she didn't even say thank you. I would never go here again. The gel extensions aren't cheap, and with that sort of treatment you'd expect a friendlier staff. read more

I have been seeing Jini for years and she truly is the best! I know I can always trust her for any of my manicure/pedicure and facial needs. She always does a detailed and thorough job and gets both my nails and skin looking their best! I particularly love the Secrets Spa Manicure, Organic Cranberry Spa Pedicure and Cryo Therapy Facial. A lot of the services have a 10 minute special massage built into the price, which is always nice after a long day at work. So-so. I made an appointment for gel mani and pedi and still waited 15 minutes before someone came to start my pedicure. The pedicure came out terribly (see picture). Th manicure came out okay. When I gave my tip of $4 the manicurist grumbled, scoffed, turned around, and slammed items down as she put things away. I felt bad so I gave her a $10 tip instead. She quickly stuffed the $10 bill in her pocket and turned away. I had to ask her to help remove the toe separators. At first she told me to do it myself but I asked for her help.
