If I could give zero stars I would. This was by far my WORST nail shop experience yet. I had never gone to this place and I needed a place in the area I was in for the day, searched and found them. When I used the restroom, just my lucky the toilet overflowed. When I let the evil woman "running the place" know, she rudely entered and began speaking to the other workers in a different language. I knew she was talking about me because the girls that were doing feet next to me looked at me wide eyed and giggled. I maintained composure really needing to get my nails done and continued with the service. I entered the shop at 1:05 pm ish & did not leave until close to 4. They had a rookie doing my full set and she took nearly 2 hours. I did not want gel polish this time so I got regular. I sat about 30 min and let my polish dry then left to go shopping. While shopping I noticed my nail polish was peeling and chipping severely. I was very disappointed & returned to the nail shop to let them see. The receptionist saw the nails and responded "That's because you didn't get gel." That was where I grew bothered. I expressed to her that it didn't matter whether gel or regular, I spent money and should've had nicely polished nails, not paint peeling. When they had the girl try to fix my nails she hesitated as though not going to fix them. They switched nail techs and the lady was very rude and kept asking me to get Gel polish. I said "NO." I was offended that I spent money only to be disrespected and then they purposely messed my nails up to try and get more money by telling me to get Gel. After getting them polished again and sitting for another 20 minutes letting them dry, I asked the tech if she could check to make sure they were dry- she refused and told me "More then 30 minute" I grew upset, told them they were rude and that I was never coming back and just left. Her and the receptionist giggled and spoke sarcastically in another language once again. I've never had that hard of a time in a nail shop. I called a couple of days to make an appointment with Tracy but they said no appointments first come first serve. So I came at 9:30 when they opened. Tracy was already with a client so I was seated with a guy on the second table to the right. Asked him for a full set. From the start he started to be rough with my hands, the acrylic application was not good it was lump and super thin at the tip that u can see the plastic nail. After he finished with the acrylic application on all my nails I asked if he can put more acrylic on the tips and make them even since most were lumpy and you can see the dips on the nails , it was bad. When I told him he raised his voice " what dip I don't see one". Tracy had to step in and tell him to put more acrylic. He was so rude and began to be so rough when filing he was burning my fingers and cut my cuticles a couple of times. My fingers were left with dried acrylic and cut cuticles. This is not how you're suppose to treat a costumer especially if they are going to pay a good amount for a service. So unprofessional !!! Tracy later had to step in and finish off my nails she filed , shaped and did my design. The experience was horrible with him wished I got his name. Will not be coming here again read more

We walked in without an appointment and waited for 30 minutes, not bad because the place was packed. This is a nice, friendly, family-oriented business. JC is the manager and she approached me saying if I had a problem with anything to let her know. I told Michelle that we were celebrating my daughter's 13th birthday and she gave her a free flower design on her manicure. Everyone was professional, warm and friendly. Children are welcomed. I've been coming to this place for like a year because Traci does really nice nails. But after today, I'm done! I always make appointments for Traci and she's NEVER ready when I come in. She overbooks, and is very unprofessional. I came in today for a fill ( I got a new full set a week ago) and a polish change on my toes. While sitting at the pedicure bowl, Traci comes over and starts cutting my nails off! I asked her what was she doing because all I wanted was a fill and I got a new set two weeks ago! She said that if I wanted a new powder color I needed a new set because my nails would be too thick. Mind you, I have gotten "powder fills" since I've been coming here. They just file my nails down and put the new powder color on top. I feel like they are constantly trying to milk you for more money. I came with the intentions on paying for a fill and polish change, not a new full set! To add insult to injury, when I told her how I wanted my new set filed she had the audacity to laugh and me and told me that what I wanted was old. I informed her that it's how I want them and I'm paying for what I want. I'm tired of paying top dollar for half ass work and poor customer service. Hell, she doesn't even know my name. DO NOT GO HERE ! They jack up the price and they also discriminate ! Here's my story...I live right around the corner and decided to give this nail shop a try. The first two times the guy who did my nails took his time and did a wonderful job, the second time I went the lady rushed my nails and had somebody else who was still learning do the design on my birthday set nails. The third time I went they locked me in the store and called the police on me, now here's the back story. I entered a drawing for a "free pampering service" at the nail shop on my second visit. A few weeks later they texted me and said I won a "FREE pampering service" I called and asked them what does the pampering service consist of and was it FREE, the lady who answered the phone said "YES its FREE you can get whatever you want come anytime" so I arrive at the nail shop, showed the main lady who sits in booth 1 the text message I received and asked her again is it FREE and what does it consist of she then responded and said "YES, anything you want just let me know". So I sat down and got a basic gel mani/pedi and when I was all done I said my thank you's and was headed out. And that's when she now changed her mind I guess and they told me I had to pay. I was furious because before I came to the nail shop I called to confirm that it was FREE, I also showed the lady the text message BEFORE I sat down in the chair so why all of a sudden is the service not free anymore? So long story short they locked me in the store, one of the nail tech's with glasses said "honey you are not young you are grown and you are stupid", I sat there calmly shaking of course because I was pissed and waited for the police and as I was waiting the same box that I entered my phone number for the "free pampering service" was still there. I grabbed the box and asked the lady "so what is this"? she then said Idk I don't know what that is I don't know her....So you guys do business with people you don't know? mmk. So the police officer has arrived I showed him the text message on my phone, showed him the "free pampering session" box, told him to check the cameras and see me showing her the text message on my phone, and also told him to check their call log. The officer said and told them that I came into this place of business under the impression that my service was free and I will leave the same way :) after all of that the officer explained to them that its not my fault that they don't know how to conduct business and that I don't owe them anything. I left that nail shop with the biggest laugh because not only were they talking shit in their language but they also called me stupid but who's the stupid one now? Also the three times that i've been there the workers are never confident in their prices they always say one price then a lady in the back says a higher price. I've seen them take advantage of young girls getting their nails done haggling prices and increasing them. If you go to this nail shop just don't let them fuck you over and discuss prices before they begin working on you. I will never give my money to this business in my neighborhood again the only time I will go in this place of business would be for an apology from the lady who called me stupid. read more

My review is based on my experience and relationship with the previous owner vs now. I absolutely loved the previous owner and had never had a nail lady like her. I loved that they played English music in the salon, the waiting area was comfortable and inviting. I went in today to get a fill, pedi and wax. I liked the new owners. Twin sisters and their mother. They were kind. I bled a few times during my pedi and fill. It got a little painful but the actual nails came out pretty. The atmosphere is way different and less welcoming although it is still very clean and the worker staff were kind. I had a good experience. Just good. read more

"Andy"was the most unprofessional nail tech he was very aggressive with my nails and caused my nails to bleed and a huge cut and didn't apologize or offer a discount. I went in Tuesday morning for a gel manicure. The lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly. She asked me what I wanted, and walked me to a table and put the nail color choices on the table. She hollered to someone in the back, walked away and I waited....and waited. I looked to the front and the lady looked at me and hollered towards the back again. A lady came out. I guess she hadn't heard the first two times. A lady came out and began filing the polish off of my nails, this is normal, as they usually file them a little and then soak off the "soak off" gel polish. She filed all of the polish off no soaking as they are supposed to do ), and a lot of my natural nail...way too much filing of the nail bed. She did do a good job on my cuticles and did a fairly decent massage of my hands and forearms. She kept telling me she was doing the best she could do....I wasn't being impatient or anything....I was in fact quite relaxed. She finished up my nails. I asked her name, she told me, "Kim". I paid and left. I noticed afterwards that the free edge of my nails bends way too easily as they are super thin from all of the filing, and later the evening of the same day I had them done, the top coat came off of the ends of two of my nails. Gel is supposed to be extra durable, and last at least 2 weeks without chipping, etc. Normally i would go back to have them fixed, but doing so would require the nail technician to file my nails more, and honestly, there is no way I am going to allow more of my nail bed to be removed. They are already very thing and fragile. They will have to grow out to be ok again. I liked the atmosphere and may consider going back again ( maybe, probably not )....but most likely not with Kim. Gel manicure is $22. They charge $1 extra if you pay with your debit.credit card. read more

Okay so I wanted to give it 5 stars because my experience was great! The only reason why I didn't is because I've only been once so it could have been my lucky day :) I came in hesitant because i wanted gel but my nails are super short from constant biting, I usually get acrylics but wanted a change since they damage my nails, the lady at the front said I could and was extremely friendly I got helped right away for a gel mani and a regular spa pedicure. I LOVE how they didn't charge me for extra stuff during the spa pedicure (ex: 5$ more for a scrub) I did get charged for design though. ANYWAYS carol and the other lady (mainly carol) were really nice and listened to what I wanted and did it well. I Didn't wait AT ALL but I did call ahead to see if they were busy, I've read that they do get busy so call ahead or make a appointment. Nothing was rushed and everything was great. Air conditioned and it was VERY NICE inside Also my new debit card wasn't working so the lady owner of the shop (I assume) let me go home real quick and get my other one (I live 3min away though) but How nice is that!? If you are in bellflower I definitely recommend. I paid 46.00$ in total not including tip. So I usually never leave reviews but I was so pleased with my visit I became anxious to leave one. If I could give this place negative stars I would. The customer service here is terrible! Carol and kelly are so rude! I can just feel then talking about me while ones doing my pedi and the other my mani. The first time I was there I waited almost 30 minutes to be seated, the ladies saw that I was waiting and they continued to take their time with one client. ( one doing the pedi and the other doing the mani) as soon as I sit they start up their conversation, they would laugh , glare at me and laugh some more. I wanted to just get up and leave. I can't remenber who was carol and who was kelly but the one with big boobs doing my toes does a much better job. She takes her time to do a good clean job. The much older lady doing my mani was horrible. She had no patience and was rude. A group of teenage girls got there and they ignored them on purpose so that they could leave....wow. The second time I went being that it was on a weekday and I was the only person I decided to stay. As soon as I sat down the chit chat laugh glare game began. I arrive here at 3pm as their IG says they close at 7, they tell me they are closed, due to it being so hot. it's been hot the last couple of days and with Covid and having to work outside I understand that. I leave, call back to ask are they able to put this on Insta or anywhere if closing early to avoid customers like me having to drive 30 minutes for nothing, she then continues to talk over me about how she doesn't have time for that and proceeds to hang up on me. I go back to the shop to talk in person in case I came off rude over the phone, and since I wasn't that far, only for her to be even more rude once I got there to myself and two more women who showed up looking for service, she then dismisses me and the other women with a hand claps (like someone saying chop chop ) tells and us to leave and come back tomorrow as if I would really spend my money here after this! We are all going through it, and I'm spending my money at your business during such a time smh, great or BETTER customer service would definitely be a better look for you all. read more

I was excited to see a new salon down the street...but my experience was very meh. I walk in and sat down, after 10 minutes of not getting a hi or anything I ask how long for a pedicure, the lady who seemed to be the owner said '10 minutes' after 20 minutes I sit down in a spa chair filled with cold water, and I continue to sit and prune my freezing feet for another 30 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Then a rude guy began working on my rushed pedicure including a half decent rushed massage on one leg and a 2 second leg pat on the other. While I was there for a total of 95 minutes I saw 7 different people walk in and out after sitting there waiting entirely too long with no acknowledgment. This place seriously could care less about customer service I know nail spots aren't known for it,but come on! People's time is money, and sitting around for a stank attitude and a mediocre pedicure is not worth saving $10. Back to the Cerritos salons for me. Came in today excited for a pedicure and walked out unhappy. The location is nice and clean and updated, the staff is nice and they do have a lot of colors. However the pedicure I received was crap. She totally passed over my ingrown (maybe they don't do ingrown nails?) barely scrubbed my feet and there was no massage just rubbing of lotion on my still dry feet. I assumed the callus remover came with the spa pedicure but I wasn't even asked if I wanted one. The only question she asked me was why I don't want nails? The best thing about this visit was the massage chair. If I came back it would have to be with someone who specializes in pedicures. read more

Very low quality nails, unfriendly staff.. when I entered the place I asked for the design of yellow nails with a sunflower they asked me to sit a table but the girl at the table did not know how to make designs so they passes me to another table the lady at the other table was not yet at the place arrived in a hurry after 15 minutes she did half of my nails in a hurry because she had an appointment with another person and she passes me to a third table the third also had to wait because the other person was late also.. I waited another 10 minutes finally he arrived and finished my nails. I did not longer asked for the design I had waited long enough ... Plus they did not have Apple Pay so I had to go and leave my ID to be able to go to the bank... So After 8 days my nails started to fall out, On the 9 day I spoke with Andy to explain that what is happening with my nails and went back to the place that day Andy was there but Was more upset than wanting to fix the situation .. very dissatisfied don't waste your money in here read more
